I had some minor drainage issues with both showers at the house so I messaged four plumbers through Yelp, and DB Plumbing gave me the best price. Donald gave me two different quotes depending on possible scenarios (localized blockage vs. main line blockage). I wasn't sure which type I had so I called him, and he clarified everything for me. Based on what I told him, it seemed like I just had a localized block, which can be fixed pretty quickly. Donald already had a technician working near my house so he was able to get someone out to my house within an hour. Technician showed up earlier than anticipated, and he got both drains fixed within 15 minutes. I know it wasn't a major work but it was still nice to get someone out quickly and get it over with. Work came with a 90-day warranty. This company is licensed and bonded. State license #971888 (C-36 Plumbing), issued 4/6/2012 and expires 4/30/2018. Contractor's bond is with Suretec Indemnity Company. I believe they are family owned and operated. Today is Sunday and my water heater sprung a leak on the bottom. It had to be replaced. Even though they are closed on Sundays, I called them. Without me asking, they offered to send someone out to help me. They were here in less than an hour and offered to replace the water heater the same day. Mike and Don at DB Plumbing are a class act! You don't need to look any further than this awesome and professional company, whom we always felt had our best interests in mind. We needed a new tankless water heater installed and a gas line capped (the gas line needed to be capped for a city inspection before the water heater installation). Mike came out an capped the gas line for us, without charging anything up front - just trusted us. A few weeks later, after the inspection, he came out again and installed the water heater quickly, it look a little more than a day. Mike was courteous, professional, and always let us know when he needed to turn off the water for awhile so we would not be surprised by the lack of water pressure. Before the job, we also received a very professional, typed-up estimate giving us prices for all of the possible options. Don is also great at responding to our text messages and any questions we had. It is better to send him a text or to contact him through yelp, rather than email. Friendly, knowledgeable & affordable! Highly recommend! I was having an issue with the standpipe in my washer backing up when I would wash clothes. Older pipes with newer washer didn't mix. I called and had them out the next day for an estimate. During the estimate I could tell they knew what they were doing so I hired them for the job. I felt their price was more than fair for the work they would be doing. The guys came out to replace the standpipe and did a great job. Then testing it out they noticed something else and did what was needed to get it draining without overflowing. They went above and beyond to make sure things were working for me. This is the 2nd time I used them. Very reliable and trustworthy. Corbin quoted less than a thousand for the 2 leaks under my house this week.The next day Mike came to fix the pipe and charged me half the price only because he said it was only 1 leak instead of 2. Don installed a water softener system in my home, gave me a more than fair price, and did an excellent job. He was a third of the price of the other plumbers I contacted and took the time to look into different water softener options that would best fit my needs. He was also the only plumber to bring up the issue that water softeners cause when watering plants. You can't water your plants with a salt based system or your plants will die. To get around this, he installed another water spigot that doesn't go through the softener so I can water my plants. I would hire him again in a second. read more

Another satisfied customer!! Just bought a new washer and dryer. When they went to install it, my hot water valve/outlet was stuck and they couldn't turn off the water. So I figured I would turn off the main water cut off, but my main water valve is the old school one (the one with the knob that you have to keep turning right) and even though I closed the valve, water was still going thru the pipes because the main water valve was worn out! So now faced with TWO problems! So I called DB plumbing - Don came out, gave me a quote to replace the main water shut off valve and the hot water valve/outlet for the washing machine. Since I need my washer and dryer to wash clothes, I asked if Don can come out the very next morning to do the install. He said yes! They came in the morning, replaced both of the items requested and charged me the price that was quoted. No games or bait and switch! I had an outdoor leak on my lawn and realized the grass was a lot greener than the rest of the lawn. As I went closer I noticed that the lawn was muddy and water was exposed. I don't usually write a review on yelp but I had to let everyone know the excellent job DB PLUMBING did. First off, the fact that they came on a Sunday was amazing and impressive. I went through at least 5 other plumbing company that all said they were not available to come in to work on Sunday. When I  did find a company to come in, they told me theyll come at around 5-6 p.m and quoted me a ridiculous price, claiming it was "after hour" prices. Then came DB PLUMBING to save the day. They came in, surveyed the problem, and quoted me a price right on the spot all the while being professional and extremely friendly. They got the job done efficiently and in a timely manner. We called DB plumbing after being referred by my parents. We needed our sink drain pipe repaired since we were told by another plumber who came out to snake our clogged sink that it was most likely broken. The other plumber never followed up with a quote, while Don came out quickly and sent his estimate that same day. It was a pretty involved job and we also had them install a new water heater as well. After our water heater stopped working, we contacted a few other companies and none of them were willing to look at the heater. They just automatically said it had to be replaced and quoted a very high price. We contacted Don and he actually came out to look and gave us all the options including fixing it for a cheaper price. We decided to replace it anyway but Don gave us a very reasonable price. They came out next day and replaced the heater. He also replaced some copper pipes behind that were leaking and did not charge us the full amount that he normally charges. I used DB plumbing over several years for plumbing needs at my first purchased home in Buena Park. Recently I moved to another city and had several plumbing issues in which I thought were easy fixes that a local plumbing company would reasonably charge to address. I was so wrong. In my latest plumbing issue at my new home, I made the call to DB plumbing uncertain if they would travel such a distance to provide service. In my thoughts, I was willing to bypass all other far more local plumbing companies just to have peace of mind that DB plumbing was going to take care of my issue at a reasonable price and without the complicated conversations of up selling, additional recommendation work, and phony explanations of why the cost range could not be told upfront which ultimate lead to a rip off price. We had a leak somewhere under our kitchen sink so we called Don @ DB Plumbing on a Saturday (he offered to come out Sunday but we decided on a Monday) - received an immediate response. His employee Mike came out on time and inspected the area. It turned out there was a leak in the wall, damaged pipes and internal water damage etc. that required a full days work. Don was kind enough to clear Mike's schedule for the day so he could work on our plumbing the entire day! Mike did and excellent job of fixing the problem areas, explained the problems and solutions, and was very patient and friendly with all our questions. He did an outstanding job cleaning up all the pipe debris etc. inside and outside our home. Don followed up with us after Mike completed the job letting us know when the restoration company would be contacting us for an inspection on the interior water damage. We were very thankful they referred us to a company they work with!
