I asked for gel X manicure and I got the worst nails I've ever seen. When I got there it looked promising with some good reviews and cute designs the beginning was good and it went very far down hill, I'm sitting here typing in pain beacuse my nails literally burn. There's polish everywhere even on my hands the French tips look like a toddler tried to do them there so thin and uneven! I will never come back and you should not go either, tbh I wouldn't even think about it unless you want hair inside your nails and to ball your eyes out on the way home. I'm now stuck with these horrible nails for my first few weeks of school and I'm so utterly disappointed

I have been to many oh boy many nail salons. I had all sorts of problems, uneven nails, colors are horrible I was never happy. Until I found V nails they are very professional. Clean you can pick any color or in my particular situation Andy picks my colors. I don't need to pick colors they choose what's right for. Every where I go, I get all sorts of compliments. For all those people that trash this place, you are either a karen. that likes to complain, or just likes to get things for free. To all the people that are looking for a true place, to get your nails done. I recommend V nails all the way if you like all crazy designs Andy's your guy.

I waited to review until after my friend confronted them about the issues below. After their lack of action, either to refund or offer corrections, I decided to post this. - not clean? - dishonest prices - hit or miss quality Honestly surprised. Had great conversation with techs, but a lot of the quality was disappointing. Not sure if the files used were brand new disposable ones because I didn't see them opened. We paid for them but they didn't give them to us (most places ask first and then give them to you) Paid for a manicure that included lotion and massage and did not receive that. My pedicure was French tip gel and was crooked and not even. Some polish was even left on my skin. I didn't think I would need to watch the whole time to ask for it to be changed. After seeing how they turned out, I watched during my manicure. I had to ask for a lot of adjusting on my fingernails because they were too thick or not shaped right. Andy responded kindly to me asking for this and I did end up liking my manicure, but I shouldn't need to ask that much for a French tip pedicure right? Feels fairly basic. This was for my wedding so I was hoping they were perfect. My toe nails were shaped crooked, the white line was crooked and didn't even reach the end of my nails on several nails, the line was thinner on some and thicker on others... disappointing. My friend paid for the service for us and was overcharged. When she confronted over phone she was told it was because she got shellac. We asked for itemized receipt over and things were listed that we were not told about price wise. I was surprised because I was recommended this place. But looking at the reviews, several other people have had issues with charge discriminations. Disappointed in how they responded about how expensive it was, and the overcharge was not refunded. Andy did my nails as a Loanne did my friends' nails. Don't come here unless you can tell them exactly what you want each step of the way, ask for what each thing costs along the way, and always ask for an itemized receipt. And double check what you paid for! Make sure you get all the services listed so you don't get taken advantage of.

I heard many great things about this place so I went & booked a pedicure. The salon was very clean and organized. Everyone was extremely nice and I came in 5 minutes early and they were able to set up my chair right away. I got a pedicure from Nikki and she is the best. She care & took the time to make sure I was getting what what I came in for. I would highly recommend Nikki for your pedicures!

V Nails have lost three customers! My family and I will not be returning!! While I feel bad that I'm posting this but it might save someone the experience. So a while back an employee made my toe bleed from a cheese grater on my toe and picking at my leg after I told her not too. This time my daughter and I went to get lashes. We agreed $100 each. Well got our lashes done that fell off the next day. But we ended up paying $120 each. My eyes burned so bad afterwards. Then my daughter was talked into redoing her lashes which fell off the next day AGAIN! They didn't offer a refund or anything. I also tipped her $35. I'm so mad! I work hard and I'm honest. I don't scam clients for money. Then I noticed how a lot of people get their cuticles done which when I got my nail done she never touched them. I've also noticed that people get their hands massaged I never have had that with all the manicures I have had. I've always tipped $20-$35 each time. I'm so irritated and feel taken advantage of!! So my whole family and I have started going somewhere else. This is bad business!!! I also noticed that they use the same tools on clients and they do not sanitize in between clients. Sounds like the health department needs to make a visit again! I found out the health department has already been there once. Taking advantage of people is pretty shitty! I work hard for my money and expect the quality work and good customer service. So they got $240 free money plus $35 tip. This has me burning up inside. Andy did call me and left a voicemail. Then he sent me a message. I do not want to be harassed either for leaving a yelp review. I'm repeating myself but I work hard just like everyone else. So when I'm paying a lot of money for a service I want it to be right or at least compensate. None of that was done.

I never give 1 star reviews but I need to warn others about this place about the mistreatments I received here. This is the worst nail salon in the HV area. Upon arrival, I was not greeted warmly and have to constantly be proactive about what I need. I needed to get a manicure done and the lady who did my nails looked like she either hated her job or hates me. I was very nice throughout my whole visit. I had someone took off my powdered nails prior. She was fine. Then the next lady came to do my nails right after she finished someone else next to me. She was aggressive on pushing my cuticles in, I realized THREE of my fingers were bleeding when I washed my hands. My cuticle are still in pain an red after a day. She said "don't touch it then it won't bleed". Excuse me? I don't even want to touch it and I am in pain and bleeding. She never apologize about it. I'm not even sure if the tools they used had been sanitized since she was working on another lady right next to me prior and I saw her grabbing the tool from next seat and used on me. My nail shape was also slanted and length doesn't match my other hands. The color I picked also looked very different than the actual color applied. I've been to several nail salon here in Happy Valley and wanted to try them out since they're new. I'll never go back and will never recommend anyone going there.

I am extremely picky about my nails. I've been getting dip powder for the last 2 years and have grown out my nails to look like a full set. I've been to many different places throughout Happy Valley and Portland and this place does the best dip powder and acrylics ever. Andy is super friendly and amazing at what he does. The salon itself is super cute and clean. They also have matching dip powder and gel polish so your nails and toes can match. I love this place so much!

Went here for the first time and they had great service. Andy is always welcoming and is attentive. I tried dip nails because of him and loved them! I will say, they break easier then expected, so be warned. They fixed my nail with no charge the next day, recommend them to anyone looking for a new nail salon.
