Had the most amazing spicy chicken pizza. I truly believe it's the best pizza in Jacksonville. However the bartender was pretty uncomfortable to talk to & order from. Then someone he knew walked up and he was all fun & friendly, but when it came back to checking us out he was all awkward again lol idk. V Pizza is literally the best pizza in Jacksonville! Every special they have is specially crafted with all their authentic Italian ingredients. Tonight, we had the wings (not the spicy kind and without all the onions). It's amazing how crispy they get them! We also had the Delle Donne and Pizza Carnivora (no onions, add green peppers and mushrooms). Once again, completely amazing. Like most fancy pizza places, it is more pricey than the deals Papa Johns offers, but worth every penny. Spoil yourself! read more

Delicious pizza at the locations, Jax beach and canal! We love going there, pizza is quick and delicious

The chef came out and talked about the style of pizza they served and explained what kind of gluten pizza they use. The bartender was helpful. They have $10 pizzas for lunch and a full bar. Pretty good pizza but it little over price. Food came out fast but it was empty. I'll probably come back when it's more poppin and give it another shot. read more

Since my first bite of the Carnivora, we've been in the honeymoon phase and I'm already talking to my lawyers and life coach on how to legally marry a restaurant. You see it's just not a love for their pizza that drives me wild, it's everything! From their gigantic calzones, to their famous wings, to their incredibly delicious pizzas, V satisfies all my needs and wants. But the cherry on top is how we have an open relationship with the Flask and Cannon. So I can get my rum cocktail with my fave meal. Sorry ladies, but I'm off the market. I'd been watching the reviews for V's for quite some time.... and it seemed waiting a bit and my own timing turned out to be just right... The experience we had was fantastic! While chatting with a group of friend in Flask and Cannon and enjoying our cocktails, we knew we would be needing some dinner soon, so we ordered up a Pizza Picante: pepperoni, sausage, san marzano tomato, fresh mozzarella, and calabrian chili paste. If you are one of those folks that never bypasses the red pepper flakes on your pizza, this one is for you! Perfect crust and tangy sauce, gooey fresh moz and a kick. YUM. Spicy (but not overly spicy) and delicious. There was no to go box needed, because we devoured that sucker! I love that the two places are connected, so you really can have the best of both worlds. Service was great, our pizza came out in a timely manner, and we were taken care of during this happiest of hour, with a little cocktail buzzes and full bellies. (Disclaimer: I actually didn't head over to the V Pizza side, we stayed at our communal table in F&C and the pizza came to us.) Without a doubt will be back. read more

Holy moly yummilicious! Went to Flask & Cannon last night for Happy Hour and what do you know V Pizza is the peanut butter to their jelly! The entire menu including, paninis, pizza (of course), salads, wings and a few other Italian dishes all were as mouth watering as it gets! I chose the PAOLO Pizza-Prosciutto Di Parma, San Marzano Tomato, Bufala Mozzarella, Fresh Mushroom, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Upon reading the list of ingredients I was like "Yes Please!". It was just as good as I hoped (which was a lot). There sauce is made from San Marzano tomatoes the dough is made fresh daily from 00 flour imported from Italy. They even have gluten free and vegan options :) The atmosphere is brightly lit and upbeat. My favorite part though? (besides taking that first bite of pizza) was the ovens! Reaching temperatures of 950 degrees and standing taller than most people and almost as wide around. So incredible! They are red and have tiny 1' by 1' inch red tile all over. Really something to be marveled at. The San Marco location has matching ovens but they are blue and they even have names! Felice, Amore and San Marco all built and crafted by Stefano Ferrara. Don't think I forgot desserts... you have several choices here, Cannoli Sicilian Ricotta, Mousse Al Cioccolato Chocolate Mousse, Tiramisu Savoiardi, Italian Gelato, Limoncello and Ricotta and NY Cheesecake. All at around $5. I got the cheesecake, a scoop of Sea Salt Caramel and Chocolate Gelato. I ended up taking a bit from each so all the flavors could combine in my mouth and it was pretty awesome! read more

I don't know why, but this location has always been my favorite, but in a "favorite of the favorites" sorta' way! I've been a few times and can honestly say it's been the same atmosphere each times. I go for Happy Hour. I'm usually left alone except to fill drinks. I usually get pizza and wings. The last time I got PLT.. don't know if that is what it's called but it's a warm prosciutto sandwich. I didn't know what to expect but it was really good. I like this place because it has a great view of the beaches horizon. Though it get lots as the evening nears, I still can zone out or laugh with me friends. read more

Unassuming from the outside. But it's actually pretty spacious on the inside. They have gluten free pizza which is nice. I opted for the cauliflower crust pizza since I'd never tried it before. Tasted very similar to regular crust. For a gluten free eater this was nice since regular gluten free pizza is usually very thin and dry. The Hawaiian wings are great... fairly spicey which i loved. I swear this place is even better than I remembered. I came back to Jax for a wedding and this place was located conveniently next to the inn I was staying at. One of my new favorite pizza joints! The Pizza Paolo was a great choice to taste what this joint has to offer. It reminded me of the pizza we had in Italy during our honeymoon. All the ingredients were, or at least, tasted fresh. The prosciutto was legit. We couldn't leave without trying the desserts. Since I couldn't decide on one, I picked two, well, actually 3: Tiramisu and Gelato (scoop of chocolate hazelnut and scoop of sea-salted caramel) Deliciousnesssssssss!!!! The restaurant is connected to Flask & Cannon so you can roam between the two and sit on either side with your food and drinks. You do have to order your food and pay first at the register, which is located on the left when you walk in. They give you a number and deliver your food to your self-seated table. On the restaurant side, there are several picnic tables and high tables, as well as a table seating flanked at the window. There are two big wood burning ovens. Great location on the beach, plenty of parking, and close to the pier. Started off with Calabrian Chicken Wings the spicier of the 2 offered and they were worth it. For the pizza we got the Carnivora and definitely worth it if you like a lot of meat! Wife got the Delle Donne ( chicken, spinach, and garlic) and liked it but I wasn't a fan. Best pizza, hands down in Jax. It's a great bar/ restaurant. It's open really late on the weekends, but their pizza is wasted on the drunk! Superb menu, great selection. Ingredients from Italy, the staff are happy and so enthusiastic. It's really clean, the toilets are clean. I love this place!!! They have wines and beers in the pizza section and a full bar next door, but it's all open plan. I'm not much of a dessert person, but the gelato is goooooood!!!!! read more

Unfortunate time to visit on a Thursday evening the weekend of the gator bowl. It was mobbed, seating first come, first serve, and lots of people walking up to the table, asking if you were almost done. We sat down a little after 6 PM and were quickly able to order drinks and a kids pizza, however, about an hour later, still had not received our other appetizer or entrées. Ultimately, we ended up, asking for food to go, never getting the appetizer. The server was clearly working hard, saying the kitchen was very backed up, and kept trying to check on the appetizer, and was surprised that it never came out. The pizza we ended up having was good, although we took it back to our house and will probably try and visit a place like this more during a lunch hour as opposed to the evening bar and never Rush. read more

Ooey gooey glutenous goodness! That describes my experience at V Pizza. They popped up on my radar a few days ago when I heard their beach location was opening. Had a chance to stop by for dinner & check out the new space. The space is huge - plenty of room no matter what size your party may be. Most of the seating is high top tables, but there are a sprinkling of lower tables for those that may be a little vertically challenged. Not quite sure if they've settled on their final hours yet; couldn't find anything posted. However, they do have lunch specials from 11-3; and then they're also open until 2 AM as they have pizza available by the slice after 1 AM. Haven't been able to confirm days as of yet, but will update as soon as figured out. On to the main event: Pizza! When we walked in the Pizza Bolognese caught my attention. After placing our order at the counter, we found a spot to sit and wait for our food. The pizza came out fast - and not just because they're weren't very many customers. With two super hot pizza ovens, it's a quick turnaround once they start your order. Neapolitan pizza isn't for everyone, but if you like a charred (not burnt) crust with a soft gooey center, it's delicious. All the ingredients tasted super fresh and the cheese was perfectly stringy with every bite. The average price per pizza is slightly higher than what Beach folk are used to, but for pizza this good, it's worth it. Best pizza in town... heck... better than any pizza I had in Los Angeles. V Pizza (both locations) is best enjoyed when freshly off the stone fire grille. Try building your own (mushroom, meatball and onion was delicious), the margarita or my favorite so far the Flaming Hawaiian- yes, I do like pineapple on my pizza. I'm Canadian by birth after all! But this pizza is yummy! And you can sit next door at the Flask and Cannon while you eat and enjoy a wonderful cocktail. Their downtown location has a great bar next door too. Go! Enjoy! But be prepared for being "to-go" shamed if you order take out... they print instructions for reheating at home if need be. read more

When I complained to the cook to his credit he offered to make me something else, but it was evident that ONLY pizza there is worth the while.
