I tried this place out today, since I was shopping near by. They seated me very quickly. The nail technician, Jennifer was great. Not too much small talk, she did her job well. They have a special on Mondays, so i enjoyed a free parafin wax dip, which was very relaxing. Jennifer gave me a great leg massage and finished up with hot rocks. I would definitely come back to see Jennifer again. I paid $45 for a gel nail pedicure. Thanks!

Horrible service. I asked for short coffin and she used a nail filer to shape the nail. She cut me twice in the same spot. Also left my hands covered in glue. Charged me full price . Never going back again

I called to arrange for a pedicure. The gentleman said I could come right in. When I arrived, I was greeted, they confirmed I was the one that had called, then immediately directed me to the pedicure chair. Long was my technician. He was wonderful! Amazing massage, very thorough pedicure, and he's very kind. I will definitely be back. Thank you, Long!

No apex, they're not going to last, the sticker was sticking up so bad that she just piled on top coat so now it's just thick and lumpy

Part of my bad review is definitely my fault, I was late to a wedding and needed a mani pedi and wanted to make sure i could get them done at the same time, i also prefer gel-x, but this was my experience: I walk in and ask if they have time for both, they immediately say yes and usher me to pick a color and into a pedicure chair but before I sit down I tried to ask them four times if they do gelx, until someone I wasn't even talking to says from across the room that they do. Great, so I sit down and one of the women starts work on my toes, she did a great job btw! My toes are perfect. Someone else comes in to do my hands and I show her my inspo pic and she says she doesn't have the materials to do it but says this red color is similar and she recommends it so I agree. At this point, she brings out her acrylic tools, I ask for gel-x as the other employee told me they had it and she denies it and says she only works with acrylic. Fine. I couldn't leave at this point because I wouldn't have time to wait for the first woman to finish my toes and then go somewhere else. So she glues the nail tips on my nails and puts so much glue that it's dripping down the sides of my nails and never cleans it up, even her gloves get stuck to my finger. I tell her I must have them short/medium, the length we ended up at is fine, but I had to tell her twice to cut it shorter and the second time she straight up told me no because it wouldn't look good, I said I understand but I work at a computer all day and can't type with anything longer. Not to mention the shape. I expressed how unhappy I was the whole time and she kept insisting she's been doing nails for 25 years and she knows what she's doing. There is no apex on the acrylic so they're not going to last, she applied it very very wet, putting my nail health at risk, and she cut me on three different fingers with her aggressive filing. The polish was fine, the sticker didn't flatten correctly, so she piled on top coat to make it feel flat, which it didn't anyway. So now my ring finger is thick and lumpy. I added the gold lines last minute and decided against it because they don't have the good CHROME gold, it really just looks like what's in the picture which I don't like. I ultimately wish I had never come in, I paid $70 for my nails and $35 for my toes. Again, the toes were great, no complaints there.

I did have a very long wait ... Almost three hours and it was the 4th of July . They were supposed to close At one that day but stayed for the ones that had made it in . I had a young man do my nails and we had a fun conversation. I never been here before and I will without a doubt be back. Mind you my nails are about three weeks old in this pic

This is my second time coming to V-Tech nails. I came on a Saturday afternoon wanting to get my nails done short notice. I called my favorite places to see what the wait time and each had outrageous wait times so I called V-Tech to see what their wait time was in which they informed me 30 minutes. So I drove over and waited about 30 minutes to get my nails done. They appeared really short staffed and a lot of people walked out due to the long wait. Their system needs improvement. My nail tech was sweet and did an amazing job on my nails. Due to being there so long I made new friends with an elderly woman who was interested in my stiletto nails. I listened to music and watch tv while they were doing my nails. It only took about an hour and my boyfriend arrived right on time to pay for them. I honestly prefer my usual spot but I had a decent experience here. My first time here I remember I got a gel manicure when they first opened in this plaza. And they did an amazing job. I love how this nail place is conveniently located by my fav shops and foods which definitely makes it easier to come back. I never had any problems except the long wait but Saturday's are always the busiest to get ones nails done.

Lord have mercy I had to beg the lady to stop doing my nails, I came in today to take off some acrylics I had gotten at another place , but the lady doing my nails was using another nail tip to PRY off the acrylics and oh my god. She was cutting them so deep she cut me and was being so rough and and peeled off the first layer of my nail! I am in pain now at another nail salon hoping they can fix it. Please do not go I told her I'd pay her 10$ to stop but she insisted to take them off and kept hurting me.

I was so disappointed in this place. I asked for dip powder on my natural nail. I honestly don't believe the tech knew how to do them. He mixed the color I chose with a white acrylic powder.... The color I chose wasn't correct but it's something I could live with. I'm more upset at the fact that they are peeling and it hasn't even been a week...it's been 3 days. All my nails are thick and uneven. I won't be going here again.

I had poor service. My lady was rude. She didn't even file down my nails. She just dipped my hands and feet and water. for all that! she charged me $45. No colors. Worst service ever. Do not go to this place. If you want to waste money you can go. I wish I can give no stars.

Great service from the time I walked in the door. I was very happy with my gel nails as well as regular polish. Very friendly with conversation. Got in and out in about 35 minutes for both. They take time to clean and sanitize which is nice. They don't ask for a tip, but I left one anyways.

Came in for a simple gel manicure. The gentleman who did my nails did a good job! I'd come back again

Today I came with my daughter and mother in law to get manicure and pedicures. When we arrived we were greeted and told to pick polish. They got the water ready and told us to have a seat they began to work on one of us and tge other two had to wait. There were 6 nail techs and all of them were busy. So we sat about 20 mins for someone to become available. They really ask for you to get gel polish because it does better but they have normal polish. The spa chairs have different settings and are relaxing. Some other people are getting some waxing also. An appointment is recommended . I showed the staff a picture of how I wanted my nails and my daughters nails was simply two layers of polish a solid color on the bottom with glitter on the top for my daughter and a mat color with a gold line for myself and it was the biggest issue and discussion! kind of not worth wanting anything but the basic gel one color that they tried to give so I just settled for the gold color that they put on my daughters nails although I showed them a picture ,and asked them 'and had somebody else translate to make sure that they understand. But still got what they wanted to do not wanted. There was a bright side to my visit a very experienced worker named Peter did an amazing job on painting my nails matte and putting a line on them he was nice. He talked to me through the whole process of my nails and even translated to the other staff the picture that I wanted and how to do it which they completely ignored and I left with a $135 bill.

I asked for pink acrylic... this is the worst job I've ever had done on my nails.

Came in with my mom... do they use sanitized utensils I think they just hand wash. My nail polish was better before I had them done here. How hard is it to place polish on the nail? If you mess up then use nail polish remover for the edges, don't let it just spill over. The massage was just having someone rub my skin... why? I asked for her to stop short of the time. Music is for the workers and I will need to get another pedicure if I plan to have anyone see my toes. read more

I put one star because we walked in asked for two pedicures one manicure. When they were done with the pedicure after I was told I couldn't have a French tip on my toes because I didn't say it soon enough when I did in the beginning. I was then told they wouldn't be doing the manicure because too many people are coming in even though I was here first. This was the worst service I have ever had at a nail salon I hope they learn how to provide a better experience next time. Their also no one in the nail salon waiting for a manicure. read more

I've given this place multiply chances to see if they would improve their services and not make me wait so long while they juggle customers around. Last time it took two hours just to get my nails done. Had no choice but to walk out.....I will never go back. read more

I decided to take my wife and my Lil girl to get their nails done at V Tech. Okay I got a manicure too. Walking In with no appointment, I expected a long wait. And it was super busy. My wife put our name down they said the wait would be about 30 min. It was more like 1 hour. There were about 3 workers doing nails and 1 person doing pedicures. After looking around I seen plenty of other people just waiting. Waiting to get initially seen, waiting with their feet soaking. I even seen a couple of people walk out because they were unwilling to wait. Clearly V Tech has a tough time managing this. They need a better system of handling walk ins. I will say I was impressed with the shop itself. Super duper clean. The layout & wall murals are visually appealing. Once we all got started with the manicures, well I see why they were so busy. They're good at what they do for sure! Our nails never looked better. My wife got a gel manicure. Me and my daughter got a regular manicure. Let me be very very clear though (I didn't get any polish) This process was very relaxing and awesome. I'm giving V Tech 3 stars. read more

Went in to get my nails done prior to my wedding this week mentioned to the gentleman who was a tall skinny man that it was for my wedding he seemed to rush through the process and my nails are poorly shaped and very trashy looking. I decided not to go here to get my nails fixed and went to another salon but had to waste precious time in order to get them fixed when they should've just been done right the first time. There is a woman here who has done my nails previously who did amazing job so I don't wanna trash the entire business however avoid the tall skinny man. read more

I've been here less than a dozen times. I chose to go here because it's close to my house. Every single time I come in, I'm usually in there for roughly 2-4 hours. Yesterday, I was driving by and noticed that it was not busy so I decided to get myself a manicure and pedicure (bad idea). I will say, this was the first time that I was out of there in under 2 hours though!! Anyways, the young lady who did my pedicure cut my nails and cuticles so short! I was in so much pain and today I woke up with ingrown nail infections in both my big toes!! I can barely even walk because it hurts that badly! I hate to say it but this is the SECOND time I've gotten an infection when going to this salon. It was from the same girl too (I wish I knew her name). Anyways, save yourself your time and money and find another salon nearby. Yesterday is the last time I will ever support their business. read more

Dont go here. Ive been here over an hour for a regular pedi. They had to get 2 diff people just to cut my nails properly. Nails still crooked and not what i wanted. Ready to go home and forget this experience. Came 600pm its now 717pm and shes finally got the polish in her hand. Amen to that at least. Update! She finally polished when....its a bird...its a plane...NO its a FLY that just landed on my nail. NOPE not gotta ask to fix the nail. Keeping as memo. read more

The good New chairs New complex Takes Amex The bad *Techs didn't engage with any of the clients and only spoke with each other, in lengths, in another language so you couldn't interrupt their conversations. *Pedicures by the older woman with glasses are painful! I should've listened to the other yelper. * incredibly pushy on gel manicures (which I usually get but I only wanted to have a particular color for two days) *No trendy nail filing. Only traditional thick nails I should have yelped before I got into the chair. I highly recommend Top Nails on Herndon and marks for anybody in this area. Ask for Stephanie or her mom!! read more

I went in to get a fill. I actually have come here twice and both gentlemen who work there are super nice and did a great job. However, I went in today and had the worst experience I have ever had at a nail shop. The lady who has a tiny petite figure older lady was so rude and aggressive. I told her I wanted my nails cut shorter. She cut them so short that I screamed because she cut me. She cut my nails so deep. I told her I didn't want them that short. She said, "I asked you." I told her I just needed them cut a little shorter. She literally cut all the way down to my skin and didn't even say sorry. I should have left. I ended up having to get a new set. She also kept on pushing my hands because I guess they were not where she wanted them and kept on giving me a dirty look. From the reviews, this lady has done this before. Never going back. This lady shouldn't be working doing anyone's nails. Do not recommend. read more

So I went to this salon cause I was close by, as far as the environment it's nice and quiet, lots of staff on hand for a Monday. I got a mani/pedi with gel. The pedi was basic, they did a good job and fast. They have free wax for your feet on Monday Tuesday Wednesday, so that's cool. When it came to the mani, I was bounced from chair to chair before someone started on me. I guess they didn't know who would get me cause I asked for art. The girl did the mani and did a pretty good job but the nail art.... not so great. I had her remove it and restart again. If you like art, don't come here, if u like just plain gel this is your place. And I kept asking for polish and I don't think they offer it but they charge extra for gel. read more

I should have checked Yelp prior to sitting down but we were in the area and wanted to give this a try since it is close to home. Now I wish we hadn't. My daughter and I both had pedi's and neither of us are satisfied. My daughters tech did not cut her toenails the way she asked and left polish around her toes. My tech cut my big toe at angle and they they didn't want to straighten the French polish. I discovered that most of the techs came from nails club on Milburn, which I vowed never to visit again years ago. I am never coming back. read more

I never write reviews and this is my first review just because I was so unsatisfied with my nails today I went for "dip nails" this older man dipped my nails probably like four times the layers are so uneven and bumpy him the little filing that he did he burned me. Besides him spilling and making a mess of the gel all over my hand. Picture will say everything do not go into this place this was the second time I went in there and I wanted to give it another shot but definitely do not go in there and get your nails done read more

I walked in for a fill on a set that I hated. Previously has a coffin set but the shape was terrible. Jimmy helped me today, and he did exactly what I asked. Fixed my shape and did it pretty quickly. He didn't talk much, but I like that. And the fill was only $28. Overall, good experience. read more

The customer service was horrible went in and asked how long was the wait for 3 was told 30 mins and when I went back in the lady I spoke to was so rude and they then told me it was a 2 hour wait and to go back later. Horrible place to go read more

I tried to take the high road and let it go, but my fingers have literally been burning all damn day & night. I came in for a fill and came out with cuts on mostly All of my fingers. I've never experienced this before but I guess that's what I get for cheating on my nail shop. Pissed is the best word I can come up with right now. read more

Not coming back!!!. I've been sitting here at the pedicure chair with my feet in cold water for about 20 mins now and it turns out the person left to lunch. I'd I would of known I wouldn't have stayed. I guess they don't even offer drinking water‍. I just feel like getting up and leaving at this point! Two people just got up and left upset as I'm sitting here. I just don't want to be rude and walk out. read more

Not sure why the bad reviews but then again I've only been here twice. First time was for prom and they were busy but seen me right away. I came back this time to get a mani pedi with gel. With no appointment I just walked in waited about five minutes and they took me. They took their time and my nails and toes didn't come out bad at all. I gave them four stars because one of my nails was cut poorly so I will go home to fix that myself other than that everything was good, nice people good customer service. read more

The first time I went to the salon I went with a girlfriend for pedis and waiting almost 30 minutes (in pedi chairs) without anyone helping us so we left. Fast forward a couple of months I returned but this time for a fill before dinner at Olive Garden and was greeted, seated, and nails done great by Peter. I let him know exactly what I wanted and he did a phenomenal job exceeding my expectations and providing great customer service. He's my go to guy from now on! read more

I don't know why I keeps giving this place a shot. They have TERRIBLE customer service. I have tried going here multiple times and always end up waiting an hour in cold water or just leaving. They over promise customers and leave so many people waiting. My 6 yo daughter and I waited for an hour in cold water for a pedi before we ended up just leaving. Do you know what it's like to wait an hour with a 6 yo?! Lol. I would give it 0 stars if I could. read more

Just got pedi's today and this is hands down the worse place we have ever been to. I was left with my feet in a bowl for 30 min, water cold when he got to me, literally tried to paint my toenails after drying my feet, no scrub or stone or towel for the basic... when we spoke up he ran a scrub, wiped it off with the towel and gave me the crappiest paint job ever. No pumice...lumps of polish & crooked line. My daughter got the same and her nails look trash as well. DON'T go. I should have refused to pay. read more

Don't know why I even bother coming backing to this place. I was sitting waiting for my gel manicure for about 10 mins. Someone comes in asked for the same service. They had us both waiting together for another 5 mins then call her back to start. I spoke up and said something about me being first and they didn't understand and just said I would need to wait another 20 mins. What a waste of time and poor customer service read more

This place has the worse service I asked if they can put glitter in the acrylic and they said no, this has been something nail places have been doing for a while. My gel nail polish started peeling off by the second day, I went had them fixed and a few days later or happened again. In all the years I have got my nails done this has never happened. DO NOT GO HERE. They do not clean, their beauty licenses are fakes, I took friends here for pedicures and all got funguses, plus I have one hand, they still charged me FULL PRICE. Worst place ever read more

I brought my granddaughter here for a birthday present. When we arrived, we were told it would be a ten minute wait. 10 turned into 40 while people who walked in behind us were serviced right away. Wawa it due to the fact that all she wanted was a manicure? I'm not sure but appearances have that impression. Honesty. If it wasn't her birthday, we would have left. Hopefully, the manicure will turn out the way she wanted... actually the man who greeted us told her she had too many colors and she had to cut it down! Who knew that it wasn't what the customer wanted. read more

horrible absolutely most horrible nail salon I have ever been too! Was extremely excited there would be a nail salon closer to my neighborhood, but after my second visit I was very disappointed. The first time the man took about an hour which should only take about 30 minutes for a fill & gel! While he was doing my nails he was rough with me, and tugged my hand very rude when I would tense up. I went back a week after to have them removed and the same guy got these nail clippers and started pulling them off, I seriously was crying to my mom about the pain. She told him that he was hurting me and he was rude to her. I won't be back and I won't recommend them to anyone. My nails have been very messed up since then, super thin, not smooth & they have a crease them... read more

This is my first and most likely the last. I read all the bad reviews before coming. But since it was so convenient for me, I convinced myself it can't be that bad. I called ahead of time just to make sure it wasn't going to be a long wait. When I went in, I was seated right away. I asked for a mani/ pedi no gel. The young girl was doing my mani while I was getting a pedi by someone else. Her attitude was "I don't want to be here" and it showed in her work. Nails are not even and glitter was not cleaned around my nail. She rushed thru it, once she was "done" she got on her phone. The other lady doing my pedi was ok. In the middle of it she asked if it was ok if she went and finished some other clients Nails. Normally I wouldn't have agreed, but I did enjoy the massage chair and able to relax for a bit. read more

Horrible, horrible!!! They tell you to have a seat and it will be a few minutes and then 2 hours later your still waiting bc they are so under staffed. And the guy in the front is soooo rude and how dare you ask what the wait is because he will shout so loud. Completely unprofessional. Cheap and messy polish. read more

Walked in on a Tuesday afternoon. Stated it would be a 15 min wait; no problem. Sat at the pedicure chair for another 20 min, water became cold and no one came to check or turn the spa back on. First time we came here, don't see us coming back. read more

Walked in to this nail salon with no appointment as I happen to be in this shoping center. When walking in the salon it was very clean and had a nice wall mural that brought a peaceful and serenity feel to it. I was seated immediately after I told the gentleman at the front I needed a gel manicure. My nail tech was Amy and she was wonderful, super detailed and she really cleaned my cuticles. She was not rough at all and I loved the way she filed my nails. After she was done she gave me a nice arm massage which I normally don't get with a gel manicure at other locations. Overall great first experience and I would request Amy again. read more

I have been to V-Tech Nails and Spa a few times but the last 3 times have caused me to find services elsewhere. I asked to do a basic matte on my nails and within a week the matte started bubbling and eventually the paint chipped and it looked gross. Another time I asked to have my nails removed because I broke my arm this was a little over a month ago, instead of soaking the acrylic off they broke the nails off and ended up ripping my index finger to the quick and causing it to bleed. And finally the last time I went I feel they were rushed, I showed a picture of the colors I wanted and what style they said yeah and then proceeded to put acrylics on after having the nails put on they finally told me they did not have the colors I wanted... why do my nails if you cant perform what I asked for? So I ended up having to pick colors that didnt really look that great together. What's worse than that was they used MMA which is also illegal in CA and can cause irreparable damage to my nails and the nails were misshapen and bulky. If you dont know what MMA is look into it cause this place is passing it off as safe EMA. I also attached a pic of the last set they gave me.. read more

Time is not to be wasted. Didn't expect to be in line for a pedicure. If they would've kindly just tell me there was a wait, I wouldn't have wasted my time sitting there wondering when It would be my turn. I come in, full of customer. There's a big family with about 4 pedicures and two full sets. They haven't even started on the pedicures. I think if I stayed and wasted time, I would've been done by tomorrow. This was my first time trying hard gel instead of a regular gel manicure, and unfortunately, I can't say I'm a fan of the results. There are small air bubbles or dots visible on every nail, and the shape of each nail seems slightly different and uneven. To be fair, I think the nail tech genuinely tried to shape them well, but the final result just wasn't what I expected. This is my third time giving this salon a chance, and each visit has left me feeling disappointed with what I paid for. The hard gel manicure was $60 for a basic color, and I'm honestly glad I didn't spend the additional $10-$15 for chrome or cat-eye designs. For the price, I was hoping for a much cleaner and more polished finish.

I recently visited VTEC Nails and Spa and was disappointed with the experience. While the salon is clean, the chairs are comfortable, and the $35 price for a regular polish pedicure is reasonable, the service fell short. The technician who did my pedicure seemed unsure or inexperienced, and no one stepped in to translate or offer assistance despite my attempts to communicate. When she put on my sandals herself, she smudged the polish and made only a rushed, uneven fix. There were other employees sitting around, and one person who spoke a little English made brief comments that felt like they might have been about me or my situation, though I'm not certain. The pedicure itself was lackluster. One foot was barely touched, the massage was brief and ineffective, and the hot stones weren't even warm. There was no drying station or tools provided to help the polish set, which added to the issues. I couldn't help but notice that another customer nearby received a much more thorough and attentive pedicure, highlighting the inconsistency in service. Overall, while the environment is clean and there's a great selection of polishes, the lack of communication, attention to detail, and uneven service made for a disappointing visit. read more

So I was skeptical about going to this place because of the reviews, however, my mother-in-law was in town and she and I get pedicures together. I decided to take her to this place because it's nearby and boy am I so happy I did! We basically got right in (it took me a few minutes to pick out a color, as usual). The basic pedicure package includes a very nice massage (I think 10 min or so), and my nails came out looking great. We were so happy when we left. I can't wait to go back. I asked three times for someone to help me because that was too long to have my hands in chemicals. I finally left, DON'T GO HERE. He tried to apologize and chase me out once I finally left.
