Ordered jerk chicken sandwich. Nothing like the photo. All dark meat chunks, no sauce as shown in photo. Slaw was good. Macaroni and cheese must have been nukes because it was cold on top and hot on the bottom. Root beer float was good. I'll try this place again read more

We tried this place for lunch today. Amazing customer service, clean restaurant and sanitizing tables and chairs after customers leave, and the food was perfect. The chicken salad came on organic grain bread and was delicious, mmmmmm. We also tried the smash burger add bacon and cheese please with fries on the side, one of the best burgers I've had in St. Pete in my 5.5 years of living here and the fries were perfectly crisp and salted just enough. Got a sample of the carrot ginger soup and it was so good I got some to take home for dinner later. 5 out of 5 for us. We will definitely be back read more

Tried this for the first time yesterday. The staff was very personable and were excited that it was my (and husband's) first time there. They took their time with us, explaining how they make the food, and how they're famous for the wicked yummy wings (they even gave us a sample to take with us). Stopped by after our relatives recommended this restaurant for lunch. Nice atmosphere- painted murals and lots of natural light from the windows. We were very disappointed in the food we got. Jerk chicken sandwich was a tiny piece of chicken on a bun with no jerky flavor. The bourbon bbq sandwich was a large piece of meat but had a funny taste to it. The two items that were enjoyed were the meatball sub and Mac and cheese. Really wanted to like this place and support a local business but sad to say we will not be back. read more

The food is so fresh snd delicious! We had the chicken salad sandwich and the chicken curry. Both meals are fantastic. This is better than any Indian restaurant curry I've ever tasted. Spicy, creamy, deliciousness on a bed of perfect rice.... not some instant boil In a bag rice you find at so often. Chicken salad was made fresh with lettuce on a toasted bun. Tried the new local spot, V9 Eats, tonight and we were not disappointed! The regular menu is simple, but they have different daily specials too. The building in its past life was a service station so it's got the big bay doors which make it feel open and lets the natural light in. There is plenty of seating inside or out. The staff was super friendly and welcoming! Now for the food....I had the smash burger with fries and it was awesome! The burger was cooked perfectly and had cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and a pickle, which I think was homemade . The shoestring fries were crispy and fresh. My hubby had the cheese steak. He said it was great! Steak, cheese with sautéed onions and peppers on a really fresh bun. He wishes it had just a little more meat , but he would order again. So glad to have this local spot without having to drive downtown. We will definitely be back and wish V9 much success! read more

I had a smashed burger with tots and they were great (I am pretty picky when it comes to burgers). I do wish that they would post the daily specials. They say they're on Facebook but they are not posted daily. It would help my coworkers and I decide what we want a lot easier, otherwise a great clean place and I will be back. read more
