Great pizza and quick service. We stopped by Sistrunk Marketplace for the first time and decided to try a customized pizza with short rib. It was delicious we would definitely return. The ingredients were fresh and great quality.

This pizza was amazing! We had the Margherita and short rib alla Roma. The crust was airy and crisp. You can tell the quality of ingredients in every bite. The service was top notch! Vabbè is located with in Sistrunk Marketplace. They have multiple food options as well as a bar. If you are looking for great priced pizza with amazing quality check this place out!

As I walked up to the door I started having second thoughts. The dining room was set up for fine dining, but there was one other table. The host greeted us warmly and we were seated promptly. Sergio removed the extra place settings, a sign of a good restaurant. He offered us either still or sparkling water as we received our menus. The price points were very affordable. You could easily find these meals for twice the price elsewhere. We started with the mini meatballs. Scrumptious! You must try them. The bread, oil and herbs presentation was impressive and tasted great. I ordered the Penne Bolognese and my guest ordered the crab ravioli. The Bolognese tasted like it took all day to cook. So good, and piping hot. The pasta was perfectly al dente. Sergio brought us a complimentary vegetable soup to sample, and the we were offered dessert. I chose the Lemon cake, and my guest tried the cheesecake. Both exceptional. Then were given a complimentary amaretto shot after dessert. Sergio was the best server I could remember I. A long time. This restaurant should be full every night, folks. I hope that you'll check it out!

Our actual server, however, came across as a bit short and impatient. Live music was a nice touch. My mom loved it. The main complaint from several people in our party of 10 was that the entrée portions were small. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with the size of our party, but it was disappointing. The food itself was good, but I left still feeling hungry.

For mains, the lobster spaghetti was outstanding -- perfectly cooked pasta with generous chunks of lobster -- and the Chilean sea bass was equally impressive, flaky and beautifully prepared. Our server Josip made the night even better. He was phenomenal -- attentive, knowledgeable, and recommended a bottle of wine that paired perfectly with our meal. Ask for him when you go! We happened to be there on a Friday night when they had a guitar player, Oscar, performing. He had the whole restaurant singing along -- such a fun, lively atmosphere on top of the great food. If you're visiting Fort Lauderdale, put Dal Contadino on your list. Great food, great wine, great service, great vibe. Ask for Josip!

I had enjoyed this restaurant in the past and had recommended it to others, which makes this review…read moreparticularly disappointing to write. During my most recent visit, I ordered the lamb lasagna special at my server's recommendation. The dish simply wasn't to my taste, so I chose not to eat it. I never complained, never asked to speak with a manager, never requested that the item be removed from my bill, and never asked for any compensation. I fully intended to pay for my meal and continue enjoying the evening. The situation only became an issue because the staff repeatedly asked why I hadn't eaten the dish. I answered honestly and respectfully each time. When asked whether I wanted the meal boxed to take home, I clearly said no. Despite that, the dish was boxed and brought back to my table anyway. What should have been a simple matter of personal preference became an uncomfortable experience. Ignoring a guest's clearly expressed wishes made me feel dismissed and embarrassed in front of the friend who was dining with me. The problem was never the fact that I didn't enjoy one menu item--it was how the situation was handled afterward. After my visit, I sent a respectful letter to the manager and both owners explaining exactly what happened. I wasn't seeking compensation--only the courtesy of a response and the hope that the experience could serve as constructive feedback. More than a month has passed, and I have received no acknowledgment whatsoever. Restaurants occasionally miss the mark on a dish. What distinguishes great hospitality is how guests are treated when that happens. Unfortunately, the handling of this situation, followed by complete silence after my letter, has left me unable to recommend this restaurant or return myself.

A storefront restaurant specializing in Sicilian cuisine. My wife ordered the Eggplant Polpette , Sicilian style vegetarian polpette, eggplant, egg, bread pecorino, parmigiano, and caciocavallo cheese. It was an appetizer priced at $ 24. She thought it was just ok. They are known for homemade pasta so I tried the Tagliolini alla Scoglio, Homemade Tagliolini with Mussels, clams, shrimp, calamari, parsley, splash of white wine, garlic and e.v.o. oil. This the white sauce version but I opted for the red sauce version. It was very good but priced at $45.

It was delicious and I am not a fish eater but I may have to reevaluate my cuisine preference at this restaurant. We stated with carbonata which is a Sicilian staple and it is prepared as good as any I have had in Italy. The wine selection is extensive and you should try a Sicilian wine which Luca suggests which I believe you will thoroughly enjoy. Finish your meal with a cappuccino and the warm cheesecake and you will go home completely satisfied and anxious to return. This is a small quaint restaurant with inside and outside dining. I suggest you make reservations.

They truly made our night and celebration so special, starting from the second we walked in and got a round from the bar while we waited for some more of our friends/family to arrive. Very elegant and clean bar and dining area. Chef Luis came out right away to say hello to the party and continued to show face along with the manager, Henry at several tables. I had the spicy Al vodka, the perfect amount of spice. Noodles were perfect. One note... that burrata appetizer is the best thing ever. I could not stop eating more! I will be craving that till I have it again. Thank you Vitolo, Henry, chef Luis and our server for an amazing experience!!!!

Nice looking restaurant located inside the Conrad Hotel. But…read morethe food? Meh. Very average and not worth the exorbitant pricing. We ordered Veal Parmigiana for 2, charged $92 for something that was slightly rubbery. This was a special, so the obnoxious price was not advertised on the menu. A meatball appetizer ($18) was okay, but an obnoxious charge of $4 for ricotta cheese (that the server forgot to bring out). The broccolini was not cooked, and a bit too raw to eat. Don't get us started on the dessert we should've never ordered and couldn't even eat (it was spoiled). The Chef should be embarrassed to release this low quality food from his kitchen. Skip this overpriced ragu pasta sauce level eatery for much better options in the area. Very disappointing experience.
