This store is the real deal for vacuum repair. I thought my trusty vacuum would have to be replaced, but instead, they fixed it, saving my appliance and saving me lots of money. They got it working perfectly and stopped it from the crazy loud noise it was making. You can recognize a skilled person and this woman knew everything about vacuum repair. She was also so friendly and fun to chat with the whole way. This shop is full of truly good people who really care about their work. What a gem, it's a rare thing to find that nowadays. I've had my beloved Miele vacuum for well over a decade and she has served me well. Lately she just hasn't been herself - first with less suction, and then displaying a blaring red light. A quick Yelp search revealed there was a vacuum urgent care nearby, phew! Loaded her in the car (she hasn't been out in the fresh air for 7 years so it was quite a shock) & within minutes we were parked right next to the entrance of Vacuums-R-Us & Sewing Too. At the entrance was a bowl of halloween treats (my visit occurred just before Halloween). I was very impressed as they were all teal friendly (meaning safe for kids with allergies as they were fun little toys). Upon walking in we were warmly greeted by Isabella. She was so approachable and friendly. Needless to say I felt safe handing over my prized vacuum for her inspection. I fully anticipated leaving this store with 1.) no vacuum - while mine was being repaired, or 2.) a new vacuum. I am so happy to share I left with my trusty vacuum in tow. Isabella truly worked her magic right then and there. She was super fun to chat with & I snuck in a little perusing as well. I must say I was absolutely blown away by this store and all of its offerings. From sewing machines, to new vacuums and laundry soaps this store truly is a one stop shop for many household needs. Let me tell you Isabella definitely got her hands dirty - disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, then reassembling. And you know what she didn't charge me a thing. Amazing in this day and age. Vacuums R Us is absolutely wonderful and has the best customer service I've had in years. I usually deal with Rachel (although everyone is nice). Rachel is extremely knowledgeable about all of the products. She takes the time to listen to my needs, try things out, and explain her recommendations. I'm so happy with my Sebo vacuum. When it developed a slight sensor problem, it was fixed cheerfully and quickly, and to my surprise I was even given a loaner in the interim. No question or issue is too big or too small- Rachel will make everything right or give whatever assistance is necessary. You will always be greeted and made to feel welcome. I love that I have free access to a commercial grade carpet cleaner as a Vacuums R Us customer, and I love that they extended that to people with smoke damage from our recent fires. This is just a great business that is an asset to our community. I could really go on and on, but I'll leave you with this. It's rare to find real customer service these days- employers don't invest the time, training, or wages that it takes. Not only do I receive fantastic customer service whenever I go in, Rachel and her team have the skill set to wait on multiple customers at a time. This is a disappearing skill! Isabell saved us from buying a new vacuum cleaner. We took our non-working machine in, and as I sat there and isabell fiddled with it, it came to life. Isabell said, "Your vacuum is now fixed." Questionably trained in customer service. I was told 10-14 days for pickup. A week and a half later I called and was told, without little sense of accountability, that any service requiring parts takes 2-3 weeks. Unfriendly employee did not call me back with update, even after saying she would. I had to call her back. After picking up my vacuum and noticing two issues off the bat, neither of the two people in the shop could speak knowledgeably about them. Finally I phoned the Arvada store, and Chris explained everything, after telling me that one of the issues was probably present beforehand and he didn't mean to be rude, but, hey, I probably didn't notice it. Also was told in passive, euphemistic language that the 2-3 weeks notification issue was being dealt with -- again, no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience that caused. Bottom line: A shop more interested in sales or something other than establishing relationships with customers. Very sorry Boulder Vacuum closed. It was run by an expert who wanted to give his customers peace of mind and ample information about the products he sold and serviced. read more

My old faithful Dyson metamorphed into a kitty litter dispenser. Isabella expertly broke it down and removed fur-balls blocking chambers that I didn't even know existed. I suspect she moonlights as a surgeon. She showed me exactly how to clean the filter so the problem wouldn't repeat itself--then didn't even charge me! She fixed a $400 appliance I was about to replace in 10 minutes. I could not recommend this place more. Thanks again! read more

Hi, I recently brought my Simplicity vacuum to Louisville Vacuum and Sewing Machine Center because it was making a horrible noise. It turns out the fan was broken by a large rock. It was just past the warranty date (4 years), but Simplicity still honored the warranty and replaced the fan/motor assembly free of charge. The man at the store didn't charge a thing for his time and labor either. I would definitely recommend them! read more

What a great discovery! The belt broke on my 3-year-old Hoover Windtunnel vacuum and they replaced it at the store while I waited. They cleaned out my filter and unclogged the hose for free. I was helped by a very friendly (and funny!) grandfather/grandson team. These guys definitely know what they're doing. I'll be coming back! read more

I took my Riccar vacuum cleaner here because the belt broke and I had taken it to another place where they would only replace the belt with a full service, and after two weeks still hadn't started it. The gentleman at Louisville Vacuum and Sewing replaced the belt, said it really didn't need servicing and did it right then and there. I appreciated the easy, inexpensive fix. If I have further repair needs for my vacuum or either of my sewing machines, this is where I'll take them. read more

Six or seven months ago, I brought my Oreck vacuum in to get everything replaced and cleaned accept for the motor. Nick did a great job, and the vacuum has run beautifully since then. The other day, the motor started acting up, (it is at least 15 years old now) so I brought it in to be repaired, and Nick put in a new motor free of charge. The motor wasn't even part of the work he did on the vacuum from the previous time, but he threw in a free motor anyway. I have a Hoover canister vacume that does a great job but is a bit temperamental.After bringing it to be repaired and cleaned several times to another vacum sewing repair shop I got the feeling that I was not getting what I paid for. In addition the owners criticized my vacume every time I went in. My cousin suggested I try boulder vacume and the young man Justin behind the counter was a real expert. Not only did he fix the problem as I waited but he detail cleaned the entire vacume. It is a pleasure to meet someone who takes pride in their work and he does. read more

I needed a belt for my vacuum cleaner. The machine is no longer available but the gentlemen was so helpful. He looked at so many belts and finally found one to fit my machine. I went in today with a really old vacuum I bought on Craigslist. I did not realize it was missing important parts when I bought it, but the man working at this shop was amazing and patient, determined we would find the right wand and extension to make it work. He spent a good amount of time finding one, and then put in a new bag (I bought some) and then carried it out to the car. The service was definitely worth my 10-mile drive. I went to these folks with a problem, a bad motor it turns out that had something get into the system and it ruined the motor. They came up with a well priced solution and had the work done in a day. I had two Sebo vacuums that appeared to have identical problems within a day of each other. I called Boulder Vacuum although I didn't know anything about them. I spoke with Antonio who told me that he thought that either there was dirt clogging the switches, or the switches needed to be replaced, or the motors of both vacuums needed work which would have been the most expensive repairs. Sebo's start at $700 new these days, so it made sense to me to see if they could be repaired. Antonio told me that if I couldn't make it to his shop before closing, that he would wait for me to take a look at my machines. Then when I did arrive, he removed my vacuums from my vehicle. He promptly checked them both out, removed the covers of both vacuums, blew out the debris, tuned everything up, placed both vacuums back into my vehicle, and I was on my way with two stellar working vacuums in an hour for $20! What a deal! Antonio could have told me that my vacuums needed far more work than they did and I never would have known. He's a smart guy, though! Now he's got a customer for life! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my vacuum purchases or repairs! Good job, Antonio! I'm glad that we have you in Boulder! read more
