Since purchasing our "safe, reliable used vehicle" IN FULL, WITH CASH, since January 2023 (not even owned a year!!!), we have had to have the following done: 1) Replaced the engine within 5 weeks of purchasing 2) The vehicle eats through oil, I am having to add 1 QT of oil every week, and full oil changes every 4 weeks. We have spent hundreds on dollars on oul this year, and many hours wasted on this maintenance. 3) The transmission gave out yesterday, prompting me to write this review. So now I am looking at replacing the transmission ona vehicle we have spent almost $15,000 on!!! And now I don't have a vehicle to get to work!!! This has been the most stressful experience and I feel scammed. Every single time I would get in my vehicle, I never knew if I it would safely make it back home. I was really trying to support another local business, and with all the positive reviews, I thought this was our answer. Do you know how hard it was and how long it took us to save up that $11,000 to pay for this Toyota RAV4? Please learn from my mistake.

We have always been treated fairly and honestly, with no pressure, and we will always go back to Vince every time we need a vehicle. A couple of our most recent purchases were a used Jeep Liberty for our daughter who was leaving for college, and a used Toyota Highlander for myself to replace my large family van that I have driven for the past seven years. In each case, we go in to Vince, tell him what we're looking for, and he gets it for us. For instance, two days ago when we were getting rid of my big van, we went to Vince and said, "We're looking for an SUV-type vehicle that gets about 25-30 mpg, has under 75,000 miles on it, and is under $10,000". He immediately let us know of two vehicles that he had that met our criteria. The first one we checked out (the Toyota Highlander) we really liked, and decided to get it (even though it did have a bit more miles on it). Vince took care of everything, made a few minor repairs, and we now have our "new" SUV sitting in our driveway. Last year when we got the Jeep from him, he made several repairs on it and made sure that it was in perfect condition for us. His shop (which is on the premises) does any repairs, smog, and detailing that need to be done. No matter what you're looking for, he is there to help you! I am so grateful to have a car salesman I can trust and who has earned his fine reputation from giving such great service since 1982!

I went in to buy a 2004 Toyota 4Runner that I was very excited about. Angel helped me out and took us for a test drive and everything seemed ok at first. I looked under the hood and the engine was detailed to look shiny and clean but it was clear there was a nest in the center of the 4.7l V8 engine that you had to look for more than a glance to see. Worse, I peeked under the car and there is transfer case fluid dripping from the transfer case and 4wd actuator. I crawled under to find out that someone attempted to spray a foam insulation to soak up and stop the leak (not sure how devious JJ's mechanics are, but even if it wasn't them it was impossible to miss). pictures attached to show what it looked like yesterday and what it is supposed to look like. They are trying to hide a 2300$ part problem that requires Toyota techs with an 8$ can of spray. I almost fell for it, and I'm sure a dummy that doesn't know to look under a car might miss it. Unfortunately, the salesman did not try to work a deal out. He just asked what I want to do. I posited that they knock 2500$ off the price to account for the broken part, and he just said 'no' without a negotiation. THEY THEN TRIED TO SELL IT TO ME WITH A WARRANTY AND TELL ME TO USE THE WARRANTY ON A PRE-EXISTING PROBLEM! I'm not sure what the AUL warranty service will think when I let them know about JJ's business practices. I should have looked on Yelp and not just Google for a true review. Owner or 'Finance Manager', respond back with a time and I'll give you a call if you want to try to fix yourselves and make this right. If not, no worries. Just understand that I'll warn every NPS and DLI student about my experiences with you.

WOW, I was shocked by their tactics, as I sat there waiting I saw a salesman receive a call and not sure what the call was about but I can only imagine. What I heard was "let me ask my boss", the salesman proceeded to put the phone down stay seated on his chair after about a minute he came back to the customer and proceeded to say 'no, I'm sorry my boss said we couldn't". Not only did he flat out lie to the customer, he didn't mind me witnessing the whole thing. I still proceeded to try to work out a deal I was gonna trade a car which happened to have the check engine light on, I had already been quoted a price and then when they were inspecting my car I told them about the check engine light and he said their mechanic would inspect it. They did and stated it was no big deal. The salesman goes to a back room and talks to a guy who I assume is the owner of the dealership, after a lengthy wait all of a sudden the price of the car I'm trying to purchase goes up by 1K. I think not, we left and never returned their calls. I was still gonna ask them to come down at least 2K. The sad thing is that they will rip off some body who is dumb enough to let them.

I was greeted by a awesome sales man but don't remember his name at the moment. He let me test drive a impala 2008 , which I did not like so he offered a little something different and we took a 2010 Honda accord and I was sold by this one. It was the best car I have driven the past months . One problem it had 112,000 miles and we want something under 50,000 so he showed us a 2009 with close miles to what we wanted . It was getting late and my son was with the babysitter so we had to leave. I left really happy with the service . I did not get pressured by the sales man like other lots around town where they want you to just drive off or go in the office to soon. I will be looking for a Honda accord 2008 & up with under 50,000 miles and be purchasing it . I hope the car lot can get one soon , I will definitely be returning if I find a matching car to my needs . Sorry I can't release his name wish I got a business card but was so busy test driving all there awesome cars. I forgot to add . The man that helped me out also offered me a quick approximate of what I would pay with a car worth (xx) amount and he said a guy has gotten one and took it 5 years around 270 a month. Which of course is just a estimate . But most other places I go that I ask always want me to go in there office , which I do not like at all .

I wanna make a buyer‑beware alert about Subaru Solterra (same platform as the Toyota bZ4X)…read more In a little over a year and under 13,000 miles, my Solterra has repeatedly failed to start because of a dead 12‑volt battery, even when the main traction battery was mostly full. Each time the 12 V drops, the car lights up with "system stopped," brake and ABS errors, parking brake unavailable, and other random faults, and then simply refuses to go into drive. I've now been stranded at least 7 times in a year. I've followed Subaru's instructions after jump‑starting: leave the car on for an hour to let it recharge the 12 V. Despite that, the problem keeps coming back. I don't leave high‑draw accessories plugged in, and this started very early in the car's life. At around 10,000 miles I reported the problem to Subaru during scheduled service, so there is a documented history. I've since learned that this is not an isolated fluke: Law firms and owners are pursuing class‑action cases alleging that Subaru Solterra and Toyota bZ4X models have a defective 12‑volt system that lets the small auxiliary battery drain and die prematurely, leaving drivers stranded even with plenty of charge in the main pack. The lawsuits claim Subaru and Toyota knew about these issues but failed to warn buyers or provide a lasting fix, and that some owners have gone through multiple dead 12 V batteries in just a few thousand miles. forums and groups are full of similar stories: brand‑new Solterras and bZ4Xs with repeated 12‑volt failures, dealers blaming accessories or user behavior, and people being told to just keep jump‑starting and driving I bought this car specifically to have a reliable, winter‑capable vehicle in the Tahoe area, and instead I'm carrying a jump pack and now a solar battery tender just to feel semi‑confident it will wake up. Meanwhile, my 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse with almost 90,000 miles has been more dependable than this brand‑new EV. If you're considering a Subaru Solterra or Toyota bZ4X, Stop. please research the 12‑volt battery issue and the ongoing lawsuits before you sign anything. If you already own one and are having similar problems, I'm actively looking for other owners, forums, and legal efforts to join so we can push Subaru and Toyota to take this seriously and provide a real fix or buyback. If you want details on what I've seen, what codes and errors show up, or how to document incidents for lemon‑law purposes in California, feel free to message me.
