Shout out to Mimi, and then Schick, both were fantastic. But after they left things really went downhill. Management was just a lot more unresponsive, less helpful. Maintenance folks were good but of course they depend on management to relay tickets, so that was a problem. Turnover was a real problem as well - some just seemed clueless. The worst thing honestly was after we moved out. Manager was very lazy about how he handled the final inspection and refund of our deposit. I had provided him a new address to send it to and also had mail forwarding so that wasn't the issue, and of course he had my phone number and email address. I called but was simply told it'd be a couple of weeks. Still nothing so I email them multiple times, still nothing. So I just let it go. Fast forward a year and we receive a letter from a DEBT COLLECTOR (IQ Data Inc, a notoriously aggressive and unpleasant debt collector, look up reviews). Turns out the cleaning costs/final utilities cost more than the deposit - but the manager had failed to send a statement of charges, and worse, wouldn't even respond to my multiple attempts to follow up on our deposit/any charges. Instead he just let it go straight to collections... I asked if I could at least be refunded/reimbursed for the interest the debt collectors were charging on top of the original charges, a measly $27, but wouldn't even do this. Be warned, this is the sort of thing you may have to deal with after the move out. Not a rent paying resident anymore so they don't care I guess. There were also multiple break ins in the parking lot even during evenings when the garage doors should have been closed - seems they just left it open because it was easier e.g. for contractors. My car was broken in but nothing was stolen (don't leave valuables of course!), but a coworker who also lived there straight up had his car stolen. It might seem cheap for the location (still expensive of course, this is Bellevue), but it's for a reason. Updating my review since the new manager also broke their promise and ended up refusing to reimburse me.

The time finally came this past September and it has been an absolute DREAM! The Property Management team is kind, helpful and most of all Respond with Urgency to any questions or issues I may have. About two months in my dishwasher was having some weird issues so I put in a request through the digital Residential Portal for someone to come look at it. They were there the next day, discovered the issue and completely replaced the dishwasher in 30 min with a new one! When does that ever happen in that time frame? My last property took two months to fix my ice maker! NEXT DAY YALL! The Daily Trash Valet is amazing and so convenient and so are the GIANT community trash and recycling bins which are convenient and hidden so you aren't looking at trash! They just installed a fire pit at the pool which I am super excited to get to use this summer right after my gym sessions in the 24 hour gym! This place has all the luxury without any of the fuss or complications that come with luxury! I am so proud to call Boulder Creek my home!!

It took me nearly 4 months to write this review, as I was giving Boulder Creek and Simpson property the chance to make things right. However, due to minimal (if any) progress after months & limited to no communication - I have to rate this property a zero. When we came to walk around the general area- we noticed that construction was being done on our entire building. We were assured that it would be completed prior to our move in. We stressed our concerns, as the stairs leading to the front door were completely blocked off - meaning the resident could only use the stairwell in the garage to come/go from their apartment. This was a concern because the stairs in the garage are narrow and steep- which we pointed out would not be accessible for our dog (who has arthritis) nor would there be space for us to move our furniture in on moving day. On our move in day we received a call telling us that there was a last minute meeting they had to attend, so our move in time would have to be pushed back. Not the best first impression for brand new tenants. Not only did this disrupt our plans for the day, but it affected our truck rental, & the people we had helping us. (What if we were paying movers by the hour?) There was no regard for us and our time. Moving is stressful already, but this was an added stress, cost & an awful introduction to our first true experience at Boulder. Within the first two weeks (some of these issues are still current) we had the following work orders/notices that we submitted and brought to the attention of Boulder Creek: 1. Floor transitions & carpet not tacked down 2. Carpet nails all over 3. Blinds installed incorrectly 4. Dishwasher had a broken heating mechanism and needed to be replaced 5. Washer hoses were mixed & all settings ONLY sent out hot water 6. Cabinetry falling off the wall because it was glued and not nailed 7. Patio door (that was blocked since move in until more recently- has a different lock that we don't even have a key for, so it is not useable 8. A VERY strong odor of urine in one corner of the kitchen (mice infestation inside walls), and a strong odor of mildew in our kitchen pantry (both of these took a long time to address and are still not 100% resolved) a. After many phone calls and emails, we asked them to cut a hole in the drywall in our pantry only to find out the dryer vent was never connected- so wet lint has been flying through our walls. (Fire hazard! And the main source of mildew- which we still smell on occasion) 9. Our garage door broke 3 times within a 2- week span 10. Uneven sidewalk that is sinking into the ground, & consistent flooding with any rainfall 11. Mossy and unkept patio concrete (we were told this would be power washed) 12. Abysmal landscaping due to ongoing construction 13. Mouse infestation in our walls 14. Exposed dry rot since Day 1 of move in (part of the 'construction'- mind you, the dry rot was never disclosed to us prior to move in) We have had people in/out of our apt what seems like nearly every day. We can barely unpack, because every time we begin, there is a new issue. Unfortunately, this is why I wanted to leave this public review of our experience here, so others can make the decision for themselves if this is a property they want to be a part of. During our time living here, we had limited access to our front door, & ongoing construction 5 days a week for 2+ months. The above issues have made our apartment uninhabitable at many points. These apartments are well over $3200, and do not match that price tag. I have attached photos so people can understand the severity of some of these ongoing issues. I had hoped for more communication, and resolution, but it seems like that is not something Boulder Creek or Simpson properties is open to. The pros of our time here: Our building neighbors are wonderful. Spencer (the handyman) was helpful and acknowledged the interior issues we had, the construction crew has been very friendly and worked with us so we could have more accessibility with our dog while they were working.

July rolls around we get charged again for rent, after our lease is already up. We contact Allez to get a refund and they said that we cannot get a refund because we had auto pay turned on and gaslight us and told us it was our fault. (Yes... our fault that they took rent after our lease had concluded). After numerous back and forth emails they stated today that they cannot refund us the money they stole from us due to not knowing how to and to go through our bank to get a refund. Now, the bank will not refund us because of the way the transaction went through. The bank said that the apartment has to refund us. So, now they took a whole months rent out of our bank account and are saying they are unable to refund us. Never before have I been in a situation like this and I write this to warn you to not move here. We're already working on suing and taking to small claims, just to be able to get the money back that they stole from us. Oh and if you enjoy peace and quiet don't move here. The walls are paper thin and the construction of the building is terrible. You can hear every noise from your upstairs neighbor. If you work night shift the noises will keep you up unless you have really good earplugs, so just keep that in mind.

This is a scam that I have never seen anywhere. They charge you extra in your parking, water, et. They are rude. They were also really FLEXIBLE with timing, what to bring, and only asked that the minor rules be followed :) We met with one of the team members the day of to unlock the space and he made sure the restroom was also unlocked for the guests, and it's literally right next to the room! Load and unload to the side of the space made things easier. The parking situation was warned to us so he suggested the park or street. My guests had fun playing billiards! We were able to put things in the fridge and use the microwave which made things easier. The audio on the TV presented no issues when I presented a slideshow presentation! Highly recommend that if you're not a tech person and you know someone that is, bring them along cuz they know where to connect things lol. Our point of contact was helpful and said that only the trash and recycling to be taken out to the near dumpsters. But there was no soap or sponge provided to clean dishes as well as a broom and dustpan to sweep. We would've loved to clean the space more but we've tidy up most that we could and left the space as is. He has informed us prior not to worry about it and only the trash was the concern! For your guests, especially if they're trying to find this room, please inform of where to go or if it's a surprise to leave a marker like balloons outside. We were so busy running around that we forgot that last minute and did so during the moment leading up to the surprise! Other than that, we loved the space! It was just right! Shtuff keeps breaking all the time (faucet, shower door etc.) 2. No ventilation - We had our kids allergies flare up in the house. We only stayed for three months. One window that opens just a little bit. If you have even mild allergies stay away. 3. SUPER Super NOISY all night unless you are over 15th floor. You wont sleep well. so you better be a sound sleeper. 4. They will charge you exorbitant LATE fees. My last month forgot by a day and prorated rent was $1600. I paid $360 for late fee. Daylight robbery. 5 The business managers are super rude, hope you never have to deal with one. 6. Parking is expensive and will give you tickets even if you park for five min while you pick up something. It is frustrating. Good luck if you still decide to go with them.
