This place is so awesome! Came here with bestie to get her Michele watch battery changed; which made me think that my Michele watch battery probably needed to be changed to. The owners were so kind and accommodating and quickly changed my besties battery... Then took my Michele watch and tested my battery and told me it was still good. Clearly they are very honest! It isn't the place to find the high end watches $10K plus but they have a great selection of watches ranging from $150 to $2K. Just for reference, the watch repair shop in the mall wanted to charge me $10 for the same little metal piece that he fixed for free. I had an excellent experience at Valencia Time Center which is located inside my local mall. My boyfriend finally decided to wear the watch I bought him for Christmas but it's some kind of Casio watch that apparently is very difficult to set, don't ask me why. So we took it in and Raffi was happy to figure it out which entailed having to keep the watch for a few hours. My boyfriend, who offered to pay was gently turned down by Raffi and I have to say I thought that was some wonderful customer service. I finally have time to write this review. Previously, I always enjoyed the selection and the customer service at this store. A little over a year ago I walked in needing a battery for my Nixon 51-30, a large watch with a chronograph and three interior dials. I had never had to replace the battery prior to this instance. The guy at the store informed me that the watch would require three batteries due to the interior dials. It made sense to me so I went ahead and paid the $10 per battery fee, a total of $30. About a year and a half after having the batteries replaced at Valencia time Center, the watch batteries went dead and needed to be replaced. Now living far from Valencia, I went to a local jeweler to have the batteries replaced. When I went to pay, the total was $10. I was surprised that three batteries would be so cheap, then the jeweler informed me that it only takes one battery. I immediately knew that I was scammed out of $20 when I originally had the batteries replaced at the Valencia time center. What dishonest service! I opted to rate this store with two stars rather than one. I will give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe the employee at the time was just a dishonest individual, and not so much a reflection of the company. I needed to get a brown band for my boyfriends watch bc we were gonna attend a wedding and he was making a big deal about the band matching his belt and shoes. Well when I went in the owner was happy to help he pulled out a wide variation of watch bands to choose from. Once we had one picked out he even put the band on the watch for me at no additional charge. He then told me when we wanted to go back to the original band to bring it back in and he would swap them out for no additional charge.
