Amazing food and service! I highly recommend the mead flight and also the chicken wings and sliders. I have been here multiple times for drinks with friends and clients. Will definitely be back soon. Cool sports atmosphere with a great selection of beers and other drinks.

Valhalla is a great pub to catch up with friends and go on first dates. They had a wide selection of beers and have American food on their menu. I didn't eat anything here but I would definitely be open to coming here again! I met a nice girl at the bathroom line we were chatting while waiting to use the bathroom. I'd say it's a cool inviting bar and the crowd is lively. Great location to catch a game. I saw the eagles vs commanders game while on a date night. 10/10 pub recommendation

Only $12 cocktails! Service required going up to the bar unless we flag them down. Mac and cheese wedges (2/5) are pieces of fried mac and cheee shaped into nugget. Comes with a spicy ranch dip that was delicious. However, the actual mac and cheese was bland. Loved the halloween themed decor!! Vibes were nice and chill. Not loud either.

I was the plus one of a friend's mini reunion and we ended up at this place when no one wanted the night to end. Although this place is likely best known for their beer selection and bar bites, we went with cocktails. The cocktails were strong, service was fast and it seemed like the prices were fair although I didn't pick up the tab. They do offer a seemingly nice little happy hour but you'll have to catch it before 8pm. Bathrooms were clean and there were lots of televisions if you want to catch a game. They have front sliding doors that open onto the sidewalk which was perfect for a nice breeze when we were there. Atmosphere was very relaxed and casual. The decor is kitschy and there is a lot of it. I would definitely return to try the food and see if the cocktails are just as strong during happy hour. Stop by and feel free to bring a lively crowd.

The next bar we visited on our pub crawl in Hell's Kitchen was Valhalla. It was a super fun spot and we all loved our visit. Located on the corner of a block, all the side windows were open to the pleasant coolness of springtime. Despite being packed, we got a table toward the front relatively quickly and I ordered a flight of fun beers from around the area. The theme of the decor was Nordic/Viking, which was a fun vibe. It was a welcoming place, with friendly servers and bartenders. The digital menus were easy to read, so it was fun to choose a bunch of great beers. Prices were reasonable for NYC and worth the fun we had here. If you're a beer fan and like unique bars, it's worth checking out.

Checked this place out with my gal pal and it was pretty nostalgic. I passed this spot so many times since I was a young gal but never thought to give them a try... despite always being intrigued - weird right? I know! Well alas it was fate when I looked up places to satisfy my wings craving and got a hit for Valhalla. Once you walk in it's like you're part of an ode to viking culture (hence the name). I love the decor. Staff were very friendly, food was on point! I enjoyed the Apple Cider Margarita (so cool!) but I will say my friend wasn't too fond of her espresso martini- Kudos to the bartender who acknowledge his lack of supplies attributed to the poor taste; he removed it from our bill without being asked! I will definitely be back for the poppers and wings :) Also, if you're a beer person, this is def a must. Large selection

Fun themed bar especially if you're into anything Viking related. I came here with one of my very good friends who just happens to have a heavy interest in all things viking, more than me lol. And one of the things that people like my dear friend know when it comes to vikings is MEAD and it's made in house! The moment it was spotted on the menu, the glimmer in their eyes was enough to make anyone's heart smile lol. I personally thought it didn't taste good LOL but my friend was like a kid in a candy store :) The bartenders were incredibly nice and even gave us some Valhalla stickers. Made the sticker collector in me so giddy. I had such an amazing time with good company, good drinks and even gooder times :)

Good beer I got the Brooklyn summer ale and narragansett lager good beer and great happy hour deals- I didn't get one but they had $5 margs as well The bartenders were both super nice and quick. Good bar, just a good overall vibe if im ever back in the area I'll definitely come again

We come here regularly throughout the year, always friendly staff , fast service and a great selection of beers on tap and in bottles / cans. A relaxed inclusive bar in a great neighborhood!

The beer is great and so is the vibe, but the acoustics of the place make it unexpectedly loud inside even without any music.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. We will absolutely return.

Our server didn't check up on us, and seemed to want us to leave quickly after dropping off the check.
