I honestly don't have words. I just picked up two dresses. One the hem was to be taken up a little and the slit sewn just half an inch lower. All was pinned. The other to be cleaned and pressed. The hem is uneven. The bottom of the dress has stains on it. The little stitch to make the slit shorter is like 5 inches below making a hole?? Luckily the stitch was so poorly done we were able to just take it out. Surely a professional alterations person would look at that and think. Hmmm this seems wrong. And my dress to be cleaned and pressed? Was hung using safety pins and now i have two holes in the satin fabric. I'm at a loss for words. Avoid. read more

What a disappointment! They lost my expensive dress. Then found it in a laundry bag still uncleaned. When I came in for pickup, the basically said they could not find my dress, left me hanging until Monday and then said it was found in a dirty clothes bag not done! They then proceeded to have it ready on Tuesday and charged me the same price!!!! Chaotic and gross! Won't go back. The nice woman in the front retired. What a shame. read more

I have mixed feelings for this place. They seem very nice and professional until you tell them that you aren't happy with what they've done. Dropped of a black jacket for zipper replacement (Simon showed me a black metal zipper that he'd use). But when I came back to pick it up, they had put in a golden zipper instead of the black one that they had shown me, because it turned out to be too short! Nobody had the courtesy to ask me. No call to confirm with me whatsoever. I would have told them 'no', and they could have saved themselves the aggravation and the extra work. They just decided to go ahead without any input from me. When I wasn't happy with their decision, the fact that they didn't care what I want, and how the black jacket looked with a golden zipper in the front with the two black pocket zippers on each side, I was frowned upon by Anita. She was no longer nice to me. She wouldn't speak to me anymore. Really? I guess her customers have to accept whatever they are being presented with. Simon was so kind and got a black zipper for me and replaced it in the end. Regardless I won't go back because of Anita's attitude towards me. I don't appreciate her treatment. I'll take my business where it is welcome, where I am welcome. Mistakes happen, and Anita should have owned their mistake. Instead she changed her attitude towards me just because I didn't let her get away with it! That is rather unprofessional. I was already disappointed. It's a mixed bag as far as service goes here. The tailor is fantastic and reasonable as far as pricing goes. The dry cleaning most of the time is decent, However, one occasion I had window curtains cleaned here, they were returned with water stains that were not there when I dropped them off for cleaning. When I retuned them back to the store, the older lady who is an owner or manager claimed that I brought them in like that. First thing, there were no water stains when I brought them in, and second, I brought them in to be cleaned. Seems pretty straight forward that they would be returned back to me clean. Anyway, after a terse conversation, she agreed to clean them, and I picked them up a few days later with no water stains. read more
