First time eating I went with a suggestion from yelp. Ordered 2 eggs sunny side up, bacon, home fries and a biscuit. Eggs were cooked ok. Bacon was a crisp almost burnt pile plotted on my plate. Both the bacon and home fries were cold and cooked way before they were served to me. Perhaps it was an off day but having to get my own drinks and silverware wasn't worth the price. The server with long dark brown ponytail is one of the rudest servers I have ever encountered. As soon as our group entered she yelled "EXCUSE ME" before anyone even had the chance to make space for her to get by. The cashier was very nice, but forgot to give a member of our party a cup for water. When she went to the baristas to ask for the cup, this server intervened and made her go stand in the long line again while her coworkers looked shocked at her. When the cashier realized what happened she felt very bad that our friend had to wait in line again for a water cup! The server gave us nasty looks our entire time there and ruined the experience of a party of 7. I saw other people blatantly standing in her way and she was polite and smiling to them, so it makes me wonder if it was because we were Muslim or what? As long as this woman is still at valley bistro none of us will ever return, and we will discourage anyone else from going here. Stopped in for brunch on a Sunday morning at 10:50am. See the pic for the length of the ordering line. It took us 25-30 minutes to get to the counter fromthe dining room doorway. Which gave us lots of time to peruse the menu. I decided to order the "This and That" which consisted of two pancakes, two eggs, potatoes and meat. I grabbed the reese's specialty pancakes for an upcharge and the turkey bacon for s smaller upcharge ($.50 I think). My dining companion grabbed the greek salad, added the gyro meat with an upcharge amd a side of fried. We also each tried the blueberry lemonade. Water, soft drinks and coffee are all self-serve. All other drinks are delivered to your table. It took about 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Everything was delivered hot and as we had ordered it. The flavor of thr food was great. They added sonething to the potatoes that I couldn't quite put my finger on that created a unique flavor profile. While they served syrup with the pancakes, it was not needed (they should serve it with a glass of milk!). The staff was friendly amd efficient and the food was tasty. Currently sitting here waiting on my food. I come here often bringing my out of state friends here but coming here today with my husband as we are second in line waiting to order after waiting a half hour in the ordering line we proceeded to both see the girl right inside the cook window white girl maroon hollister zip up hoody aggressively toss toast on someone's plate with no gloves. Me and my husband looked at each other and he asked me if I just seen what he seen. I did. I'm absolutely disgusted by it. Continued to watch her touch her face multiple times and take a swig of her soda then proceeded to scoop grits and make toast and toss em onto plates. The ambience is nice and the service is friendly, but the parking stinks and everything I've ordered has just missed the mark. I've tried it three times because it's so highly praised around here, but so far I've gotten undercooked French toast, cold grits (the cheese wouldn't even melt), and mediocre, floppy pancakes with a yummy swirl of some sort of frosting. We have been going here for a long while. The quality has fallen way off in the last month or two. Not sure what changed but it is not good. Toast is now served with some weird liquid "butter" instead of butter. Bacon has come out cold like it is stored in a cold bin and not even reheated, and same with scrambled eggs. Got the caramel banana pancakes and those were always a favorite but there were no fresh bananas on it and only a few slices of banana in the pancakes themselves. Only downside is this place gets busy on the weekends and there is always a line to order (you order at the counter and they will bring your food to you). Wanted to try this place for breakfast or lunch for a while now. Always seems like it's busy and today was no different. We stood in line and ordered, which didn't take too long (although they should have a queue line as this stretched in front of a few entrances). I ordered a Greek omelette, while my girlfriend got a Philly omelette. Both were well-prepared and came out quick and were quite filling! I opted for the upcharge for Gyro meat, which was listed at $1 on the menu sign but was ring up as $2.50 extra. While I was able to get my iced chai just fine, the dirty chai we ordered turned into a standard latte by the time it reached our table. We asked it to be sent back but they were confused, and came back with a different latte. Not sure what happened there, but the cashier let us order it so we didn't think it would be a big deal. Those issues aside, I really liked our brunch here. The inside is well-lit and dining room is open, plus there's outside seating for days with good weather. I was in town for an event and someone suggested this place. The food was very good but the restaurant probably would work better as a sit down service in a better location. Near Hershey I had to go with the Reese's pancakes. It's a once in a lifetime thing but I had to try them and it did not disappoint. I could only finish a little less than half till I succumbed to the sweetness, think god I ordered a side of bacon. The dining room is a bit of a mess as this popular place is a constant movement of people grabbing tables, eating and leaving. The place is built on a hill with traffic being routed around the restaurant. Only one way in and out with traffic crossing paths at the exit. Not sure I would go back on a Sunday again. Next time I would probably order a savory item and maybe a muffin. read more

The whole lot is paved now which makes it much easier and they've expanded their seating area. I got the apple bacon pancakes and hubby got the fried chicken Benedict. Our third wheel gave the chocolate chip pancake an applause which is the highest praise from her. I usually opt for more savory breakfasts and the apple bacon was a bit too sweet for me. Went there thinking we'd be sitting down and be served. No. Go to the front, pick your choice off a chalkboard menu, go to a line and wait to be rung up. Get your coffee cup and water plastic cup. Go get your own coffee and silverware (which is crap silverware). Sit yourself with your number in an area that looks like a college cafeteria. Wait for them to bring your avocado toast and bacon and eggs. I gave them 2 stars as the potatoes were good but there were these weird long flaps in them, I ate around them. Also, the avo toast was avocado bread, soft as could be. The bacon was not greasy and soggy. The eggs were done over hard, not over medium. The coffee was weak. All this for $38 dollars for two people. Yay. Not a bargain. I pointed out the potato junk and told the manager about the toast. She brightly said, 'yes, sometimes the toast comes out of the machine a little underdone'. Me: yes, that's called bread. I didn't ask for any money back, I doubt it would have mattered. It was my second time today and easier for me to navigate now that I've had a practice run. I'll assist those who come after me- you stand in line to place an order. Sometimes this line gets long but it's worth the wait so be patient. It moves fairly quickly. Menus are located at various locations on the wall or a larger one spans the entire side wall (still difficult for he to read from afar so I appreciated the physical menu in hand) once you order you take a number on a stand and place it at whatever table you want to sit at. Get your own silverware and whatever drink you ordered yourself (unless it was a special drink) Here's another tip- if they still have the lemonade flight- DEFINITELY GET THAT!! It's so good and so extra special. See my pic attached. All the food is good so you really can't go wrong no matter what you get. We stopped in for lunch on a weekday several months ago. The place can be loud due to high ceilings and lots of people talking. The line was long but moved along in its own time. I had the Pub Burger which was good, but the pub fries were nothing special. My wife ordered the Crab Hash & Eggs which she said were good. I hate the parking and the cardio hill to walk up when parked on the lower level. It is brutal for a pre/post-meal workout walk! LOL. First & last time! My husband & I went here for breakfast this morning and were not impressed. I ordered the El Jefe (egg/avocado/chorizo wrap) and my husband got the Jiovanni's This n That (French toast, scrambled eggs w/ cheese, bacon & home fries). Also 2 coffees $3.50 each (yikes!). Our food was lukewarm!! My wrap tasted ok but would've probably been a lot better had it been at the proper temperature. My husband's food was cold too, eggs mushy, watery tasteless, and the French toast was also BLAND af. The eggs looked & tasted like they made them ahead of time in a large batch and put zero seasoning. Guys, just make actual eggs to order. It's not difficult. If u can't get eggs right, we can't fool with y'all! FYI, u have to order at a counter and take a # for your table if ur dining in. And u have to get all your own stuff - drinks, napkins, utensils, etc. Not a problem, just something to be aware of. we will not be returning to this place. Unbelievable! Stopped here on our trip from Pittsburgh to Bethlehem it's very accessible being right off the highway. I enjoyed the avocado chicken wrap with a side of Cajun fries and it was so good! The chicken was perfectly marinated, the wrap tasted so fresh, and the fries were nicely seasoned. I would definitely order it again. My husband got the steak and eggs and absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back in future trips and visits to Bethlehem. Side note, we arrived on 9:30 on a Saturday morning and it was PACKED. To my surprise, we were in and out in under an hour. Came here with friends for breakfast. They have a huge menu, so we'll definitely be back again. I unfortunately didn't love the avocado toast... they added red pepper flakes to it and... I'm not about that. My husband enjoyed his order and the portions were massive! Our friends enjoyed their orders as well. They were missing utensils, so docked a star for that. Otherwise, it's pretty spacious and clean. Staff were all very friendly. Location is a bit odd, we had a little trouble getting into the lot, but now we know. Expected more from a $45 brunch for 2. We both had the special Granny's Chai. Plenty of lukewarm apple cider flavor, no chai or caramel though. Sweet Cream Pancakes were good but not more exceptional than those at the local diner for 2x the price. The over-easy eggs in my Gianna This & That were fried completely hard.
