My experience with Valley Lexus was extremely disappointing and far below what anyone should expect from a dealership handling a brand new luxury vehicle. I took delivery of a brand new 2026 Lexus GX550 on June 9, and the vehicle arrived with visible damage to the front hood. This was not a minor issue that could be ignored. It was documented immediately, and despite the fact that the car was brand new and should have been delivered in perfect condition, the response from the transport side was dismissive and unprofessional. The transporter made comments belittling the vehicle, including saying it was "just a Lexus" and that it was the cheapest car he had ever carried. That alone says a lot about the level of care involved in this delivery. Delivery was arranged by the dealership and I paid for it! What followed was even worse. Chris stopped responding after saying management would get involved. General Manager, Eddie later said the dealership would take responsibility and asked me to get repair estimates, but after that the communication became inconsistent, slow, and frustrating. There were repeated delays, vague answers, and no real sense of ownership. I was told the body shop would be paid directly, but after this experience of having to chase down Chris and Eddie, it is hard to trust anything that is said from your end without written confirmation, immediate follow-through and a check to be issued to me. The vehicle arrived damaged and I expected you to take responsibility, but instead you have been ignoring me. For a vehicle that cost nearly $100K, this is not how a dealership should treat a customer to begin with. A brand new Lexus should not arrive damaged, and the customer should not have to spend weeks chasing the dealership for basic accountability. The lack of professionalism, the poor communication, and the absence of urgency were all extremely disappointing. I would strongly caution anyone buying from Valley Lexus to make sure everything is documented and to be prepared to fight for even the most basic level of service after the sale. Stay away from Chris and his general manager Eddie. They will ignore you as soon as you buy the car. I will make sure to reach out to Lexus North America regarding this experience of mine. read more

I was pre-approved to purchase a Lexus RZ. I scheduled a test drive with Jacob who promised to send pictures but never did. My daughter took off work early to drive me an hour and 20 minutes from Elk Grove to Modesto. I regret not getting the pictures before the drive. Although, the 2023 RZ with less than 8,000 miles and was certified, it had numerous cosmetic damages, deep scratches on the bumper, rims and front. Fortunately, my most recent experience was fantastic and on-time. My vehicle was greatly overdue for a maintenance. I made a phonecall to schedule an appointment and got in touch with Tim N. Tim was an amazing consultant! He explained everything with ease and answered all my questions thoughtfully. He didn't try to upsell me and recommended what he thought was best for my vehicle at the current situation it is in. I made an appointment for the following day and was all set! I was assisted by Tim at check in. He provided me with additional information and got me all checked in. In addition, he provided me with a loaner to go about with my errands. My maintenance was going to take several hours so I'm glad they have this option here. During this time, they provided me an inspection video which was a nice touch. I've been bringing my Lexus to Valley Lexus Service Dept for almost 11 years now and never had any issues until my service appointment today. It seems Valley Lexus has decided to make some changes. Now I have to do walk around with a service agent and look at my tires, engine, battery, wipers and anything else they want to look at. I thought I was paying a service tech to do this. Then I was given a sheet with 3 different maintenance packages to choose from and 3 different prices. I was told I can move things around to create the package I want. I said I had already received an amount from Lexus of 1,300 for a 150,000 mile service package when I scheduled the appointment. The service agent didn't know what I was talking about but I have received these estimates for 11 years that I've been making appointments. The least expensive maintenance package on this list I was given was over 1,800.00. I have paid a fortune over the last 11 years to Valley Lexus service department. I have always received great service and have always been treated with respect. I bring my car here because the service techs are great at their job and knowledgeable about my car. I am not a service tech and I'm not knowledgeable. Now, I have to walk around my car and do an inspection which I used to pay someone to do. This also caused my wait time to increase. I also have to come prepared now and I'm supposed to know all the service items that my car should need and I'm expected to put together a service plan made up of all the different options. It was so much easier when I could bring my car in and if I needed a 100,000 mile service then that's what I got and it was at or near the estimate I was given. I have no idea if I chose the right service for my car today. This is so disappointing. My husband and I are planning on purchasing a new car this year and after my experience here today, we won't be using Valley Lexus again. I suspect someone high up decided the service department wasn't making enough so this new confusing way for customers is supposed to bring in more money. Do not buy a used car from here I lost about 8k in 3 months and had the car in my possession for maybe 7-10 days. Took it to carmax down the road and canned it because they just kept clearing the check engine light. My local BMW said the car needed about 10-20k in repairs due to failed def system. read more

My experience with Valley Lexus was far better than my expectations! My wife and I were shopping around for our first family size vehicle. We had gone to most other car dealerships to test drive and select a vehicle. Every single dealership we went to, we met a version of the "stereotypical care sales man". I caught each in multiple lies not only about the vehicles they offer, but also lies about other dealerships and cars. My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Trevor Ravelli. He was very courteous, knowledgably about all aspects of cars, and just a good down to earth gentleman. He was able to answer all my questions, and we even left to go check out other vehicles after the test drive. He never put down any other brand, dealership, or type of vehicle. He just informed us on the pros and cons and allowed us to make up our own mind. He is the reason my wife and I returned and bought a vehicle. In this day and age, finding a sales person who looks out for the customer, cares about the product, and makes the experience a hassle free is exceeding rare. I have called there several times trying to get a price and make an appointment for a windshield install with calibration. They just kept either transferring me around or sending me to someone's voicemail. I usually take my car to the Lexus in Pleasanton where I bought it but was hoping to save myself some time and a drive. The customer service just doesn't compare. I would also like to add that the phone number on their website for the service department doesn't work and just gets an error message.
