DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. TL;DR: Sold me a car with undisclosed damage, did a poor repair, caused new damage, then ignored me. Extremely frustrating experience. I regret trusting this dealership. I purchased a vehicle from Valley BMW and was never informed of any issues--minor or otherwise. Later, when I had paint protection film (PPF) installed on the front end, it was discovered that the front bumper had previously been repainted. The paint began peeling during installation, revealing prior work that had not been disclosed. I attempted for months to bring the car back for evaluation. Due to the holidays, I agreed to delay, but when I returned four months later for my scheduled appointment, I was told I was not on their schedule. To their credit, they did try to address the issue that day, but only after significant push back from the car salesman, Ryan and the used car sales manager, Ken. They eventually reviewed the vehicle's history and acknowledged that the bumper had indeed been repainted. They brought in a representative from their third-party body shop to inspect the car. The experience was beyond frustrating --the representative spent considerable time trying to convince me that repainting wasn't necessary, making questionable claims (including that PPF is "permanent," which is not accurate). It felt like an attempt to avoid taking responsibility for the original workmanship. Eventually, they agreed to repaint the bumper. However, when I picked up the car, I noticed a new crack that had not been there before. I immediately informed my service advisor, Kam, who told me to email him instead of inspecting the issue in person. I sat in my car and emailed him immediately and allowed ample time for a response but never heard back. I then attempted to escalate the issue to the manager, Steve, and again received no response. While the crack is on the underside of the bumper and thankfully not highly visible, at this point it's about principle and accountability--both of which seem to be lacking here. This was a very disappointing experience. I expected a higher level of transparency and customer service, especially from a BMW dealership, but instead it felt like dealing with a shady dealership. I took my car in with a service appointment for an oil change and for my windshield wipers to be replaced. Those two simple things took 4 hours. I asked for updates after waiting for 3 and a half hours and was told the service was complete and that they needed to start washing it. I requested the wash to not be done and was ignored. I was left waiting for another 30 minutes. A 4 hour wait is inconvenient, but being disregarded and ignored was frustrating. I've asked questions to the salespeople about different models in the past and have always been given condescending responses. I visit this location is because it's closer than Fresno, but the terrible service isn't worth it. Driving 1 and a half hours sounds more appealing than going back to Valley BMW. read more

Monique responded to all my questions even after hours from her home. Scheduled a time to test drive and Monique was ready and waiting for me when I got there. I recently purchased a used vehicle from Valley BMW for $40,000 and I also bought the extended warranty that was offered by Valley BMW . My car broke down, so I called the extended warranty for directions on how to get my car fixed. I was told to bring it to my nearest Jeep dealership, and they would take care of everything that is NOT cosmetic related including the Diagnostic fee. After the Diagnostic I was told that my extended warranty policy was only covering 40% of the repair needed. The policy cost me $3800 yet they refuse to cover a $900 none cosmetic related repair. I went ahead to try reaching a BMW manager wich they try bouncing the ball in between departments and no one could help fixing this issue. I would NOT recommed spending your dollars at a Dealership who do not put their name behind the extended warranties they are sellig. Might aswell I am about to buy my 3rd vehicle and I am positive is NOT going to be at Valley BMW. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My daughter went to Valley BMW for her final lease service since her lease ends in March 2026. While there, she was approached about leasing a new vehicle. The General Manager, Edwin Sarhad, told her they had a brand-new 440i M-Sport coming in from Germany that was "perfect" for her -- even though she currently drives a 330i, which is far less expensive. He verbally quoted numbers but provided no written paperwork. She left believing she had time to think about it. A few days later, he called and said the car had arrived and that it was hers -- despite nothing ever being signed or formally documented. She was excited and prepared to move forward, even bringing a cashier's check. My wife went with her, and I arrived shortly after. From the start, the professionalism was lacking. Mr. Sarhad was present but did not greet my wife. She had to approach him. When I arrived, I had to introduce myself as well. For a general manager, that speaks volumes. The "brand new" vehicle, supposedly fresh off the ship from Germany, did not look new. The interior was dirty, and the exterior had noticeable swirl marks and what appeared to be small scratches. When my daughter hesitated and wanted to review numbers further, Mr. Sarhad abruptly said, "I won't go no more, no less. We already talked about it!" When she mentioned wanting certain features, he sarcastically replied, "Why don't you just write a check right now for $100K and order what you want!" That comment alone was enough to tell us everything we needed to know. He then said he had other business to attend to and walked away, leaving us standing outside. No attempt to professionally continue the discussion. A sales associate stayed with us and was genuinely kind and professional. We appreciated her effort. Unfortunately, management sets the tone -- and this was unacceptable. This is not the first time we've experienced rudeness from this dealership. It's actually why we purchased our BMW in the Bay Area back in 2019 and only use Valley BMW for service. If you're in the Modesto area and considering buying or leasing a BMW, do yourself a favor and make the drive to the Bay Area. The professionalism, courtesy, and overall experience there have been far better in our experience -- and absolutely worth the extra effort. read more

I had the absolute worst experience at BMW, with a man named Anthony Bhatti. He was incredibly inappropriate with my UNDERAGE daughter. We thought he was just being nice at first but unfortunately that was not the case. After several major inappropriate comments, my daughter and I felt so uncomfortable. He tried to play it off but when we threatened to speak to his higher ups, he suddenly became apologetic. I have left multiple messages for his boss Edwin, but I have not received any word back on the matter. I have also spoken to multiple people that no longer do business with this specific BMW, they have also said that Anthony has made them uncomfortable on different occasions as well. When I was connected to your representative, Pam, her behavior was extremely unprofessional and rude. From the moment I spoke with her, she responded dismissively with repeated "mhm"s, which made it difficult to have a basic conversation. I recently purchased a used X3 from Valley and must say, they went over the top for me. I'm an out of state buyer and purchased site unseen so naturally was a bit nervous. After I had wired the money to them, I realized I forgot to ask about a second key. Even though the car didn't initially have one, they ordered one for me anyway. They hired a driver to come pick me up from the Oakland airport (1.5 hour drive) and take me to the dealership. I paid for the car in September and picked it up a couple weeks later which was October. When I got there, a new service was required for brake fluids that wasn't reporting when the took the car in in September. Again, they went over the top and authorized me to get it taken care of at Seattle BMW when I got back. I'm 100% going to buy another car from these guys. Thank you to the team! read more

Kevin Rigo was my service advisor today. He called and gave me an update that my car was ready for pick up and I said I would be there shortly. When I arrived, the person at the front desk told me to have a seat and someone would be with me. I sat for over 20 minutes waiting to get help. There were several people sitting in the waiting area so I understand I had to wait for them to be helped. But Kevin didn't seem to think that there was any need to speed the process along. Each person took longer than it should have because I saw chitchatting and slow work going on. A couple came in behind me and the guy at the front desk put their key and papers on the counter. When everyone else was done and it was my turn, I saw Kevin grab the papers for the couple who arrived after me. Before I had a chance to say something, a man and woman came in and went directly to Kevin and started saying hello and were obviously acquainted with each other previously. The man introduced the woman and they started to socialize. I interrupted and said I had no balance and just needed my keys, I had been waiting over 20 minutes and could I just get my keys. Kevin said the other service employee called in sick and he was the only one there. If you are the only one there and have a line of people waiting (I heard him tell someone that "everyone showed up at once" so he clearly knew people were waiting) then you should work quickly and tell your friend "sorry I can't talk right now I have customers". I told him it's too bad they can't train other people to give customers their keys because there are so many people sitting around doing nothing. He said sales is a different side. The guy at the desk in the front wasn't doing much most of the time and could easily give people their keys if there is no balance due and no explanation of service needed. There have been other times I have come in and there was only 1 service advisor and nobody else to help. This wasn't a one off. BMW is an expensive car and they should do better for their customers. read more

I purchased a oil change special for $225 for two years of oil change or three. they try to upsell me every time I go in for other repairs and when I refused, they did not wash my car and they do as little as possible on the service so I won't be going back to them again. The service department showed poor coordination, and although the finance manager promised a discount due to the inconvenience, the parts department had no knowledge of it. Would not recommend Valley BMW. Worked with Ryan, a newer sales guy. Tried to discuss numbers over the phone, was told would be better if I was in person, but that I would be a few negative on my trade in. To me, that's no problem, a few thousand negative on my trade, that's ok, even $5k to $6k would be fine I guess... what they didn't tell me was that "a few thousand" to them actually means $13k negative ... silly me!.... The issue is that they knew I was driving well over 2 hours, from San Jose area... because they had the car I wanted, and said based on my credit (I did a credit application because I was fine with a FEW thousand negative) that it would be an easy process.... Basically they took advantage of the fact that 1. It was the exact car I wanted. 2. The fact that I drove over 2 hours to get there & 3. I did a credit app already... they wanted me to just sign and accept the ridiculous offer they gave me because of all those factors I was up against .... They gave me the "we don't want to do the deal for you because your trade in would be hard to sell.... So here's a ridiculous offer" It would be much more respectable if they just told me "it would be hard to sell your trade in, so here's the numbers we would have to be at" and let me turn them down over the phone (because nobody would accept the offer they gave me and they knew that) vs having me drive all the way there, just disrespectful to my time, gas, and wear and tear on a 2 hour drive from the Bay Area to Modesto. BMW Elk Grove did numbers over the phone and had me in and out in an hour and a half. Drive to Elk Grove, or anywhere else, instead of Valley BMW. read more

This dealership is hard to say is a high end car dealership. They do not treat their customers well. Doug in finance is the worst person to deal with since I purchased a bmw from them he has been a nightmare to deal with. They are only nice when it's time for the sale but once you leave they treat you horrible. I have contacted Doug on multiple occasions and have yet to hear back from him. Now I have contacted their general manager Terrance and he also has not got back to me so just goes to show they don't appreciate your business once the deal is closed. I would never buy another vehicle from this dealership again. I would rather travel thousands of miles then do business with them. Drove there from Fresno to look at a used Hyundai that my son in Arizona was interested in. The car was priced above high blue book by $2000. Clean interior, two owner car with low miles. Not worth even close to what they were asking. The hood had a dent and scratches through the paint. The right headlight lamp was cracked and the driver door had nicks that were touched up with different paint color. I asked the salesperson, Anthony, who I could talk to about price and he told me the price listed is the price. I told him the car has damage and he said that's the price. Beware of their GAP insurance fraud violating FTC C.A.R.S. laws. In 2021 I purchased BMW's GAP Protection coverage for my car. The dealership wouldn't sell me the car without it. They told me GAP insurance was mandatory to cover the asset. Fast forward to May 2024, and a Truck hits us. AAA handled their portion within days. I call Valley BMW's GAP company (SafeGuard) to have them pay the rest. They tell me the dealership didn't complete the process to start coverage. I didn't have GAP for my car between 2021-2024 according to SafeGuard. I go in person and the managers at Valley BMW were condescending and didn't want to help but luckily I had my loan contract from date of purchase and after mentioning potential legal action, they decide to process my paperwork. I called SafeGuard again days later once Doug at Valley BMW told me that the gap claim was started and they sent all the files needed. The SafeGuard rep told me there wasn't an attempt made from Valley BMW to send documents over yet so my gap claim can't be processed. I call Valley BMW letting them know how they have been violating FTC regulations since day 1 with me and that I strongly recommend they send over the requested information so SafeGuard can process my GAP without further delay. They have been playing dumb nonstop and it's ridiculous the hurdles one has to go through to have them send documents. They keep sending partial info, incorrect info, duplicates of what's been received, and files with the wrong format. I still haven't been able to have my GAP processed. I'm hoping that putting this experience out there will prevent them from trying to screw over more of their own customers. BMW customers, I strongly recommend you get GAP through your financing company. read more

Monique reached out couple months regarding my m5 lease coming to an end and let me know they had an allocation on a 2023 M5. It was the first time I got to have a custom build to get exactly everything I wanted. Monique's communication was the best she stayed giving me updates on the car and always answered any questions I had. She was amazing to work with! I also wanted to thank the sales managers Dean for working on getting the deal done smoothly and the other sales manager Doug for helping with the lease paperwork and Thomas is finance was amazing. Made an appointment four days in advance for an oil change only, appointment time was for 10:30 AM. We arrived at 10:20 was not acknowledged by our service advisor name Kevin as we sit in his chairs and he continued to look at his computer. After he checked us in and told us it would be a 2 1/2 hour wait for an oil change mind you .They do not offer rides home as we live 30 minutes away so we sat and waited. We noticed our car sit there for 1 hour 5 minutes before they took it back to start on it . After sitting there for over two hours a salesman come to see how we were doing and we proceeded to tell him they said 2 1/2 hours for an oil change he didn't think that was quite right, so he said he would go check on it, which was very nice of him. He asked if we needed it washed which we declined because it was raining. We get home pull in the garage and noticed grease all over the front of our hood. I took a photo sent it to the advisor and he just said well you guys declined a wash. I responded. It was raining but I don't see why the mechanic did not take a rag and wipe the grease off they let it go off the dealership like that. Kevin was our advisor and he is not very people oriented. I will not purchase another vehicle from Valley BMW and I will go elsewhere for service on the BMW I own now. Worse customer service "EVER"!!!! I purchased a used Honda Accord from Valley BMW about a month and a half ago. There was a tear in the leather on the door card in the backseat passenger side. When brought up, I was initially told that it could and would be fixed since BMW has the "Best Leather Fixers for these $100k+ cars" according to my salesperson. Each visit they became more hesitant in saying it could be fixed. I was told I'd be contacted about an appointment to take the car in to get it checked out and fixed but was never contacted. I re-contacted them numerous times about when the Leather Guy would be there but was told repeatedly that they weren't sure and that they'd contact me. They constantly refused to give me a time when I could bring my car in to get it checked out. Whatever you are promised during the purchasing process, make sure it's in the contract so that they have to honor it, because they seem to avoid what they aren't contractually obligated to do. They aren't very trustworthy as I still have yet to be contacted about it and probably will not be. read more

Dean Bumgarner - Treated my wife and I with courtesy and respect. While waiting for our 2019 X7 service, Mr Bumgarner greeted me with a great smile and lots of knowledge about the new 2022 X7. He was very friendly. He demonstrated his belief in the concept of dignity by treating us with respect and fairness. I truly felt like family from that point on. Monique Zaragoza - She ensured we received all the up to date knowledge on the performance as well as safety features that accompany the new 2022 X7. She demonstrated a high level of expertise in her ability to sale that vehicle. She really took charge to address issues and solve problems for example, she help us get the front plate holes drilled for our handicap plates. We did not have a clue how to fix that issue. Mayra Burciaga - Oh my God, she was like a sister to my wife. We have never had such a wonderful time signing paperwork. We shared stories about our kids, as well as some of our life interaction with highway authority. My wife share with her about getting a speeding ticket, after that I knew Ms Burciaga was no longer her name, she is now known to our family as Ms Mayra. Not only did she help us get the plan we needed, she also kept it in the budget we requested. I notice when we speak to her, she stop everything else and gave us her undivided attention. She use active listening skills and follow-up questions to ensure she understand and met our needs. Calvin Neely - Mr Neely has excellent communication skills and articulate his vision to us when we ask him how he like the 2022 X7. He too was one of the reason why we decided on the purchase of the vehicle. He is a great listener, he display genuine concern about our interests in know the difference between the 2019 and the 2022 Alex Walker - He was personable and helpful. He was very focused on ensuring we knew about the excellent choice on the purchase of the 2022 X7. He was a subject matter expert and very experience in all matters related to BMW Thomas Westfall - Mr Westfall was very helpful with keeping us up to date on the new vehicles coming to the dealership. I was able to give him our information for the new and improve self driving vehicles for future purchase . Thanks to all involved that treated us like family. We will stay with this dealership for the rest of our life. I am a disabled Retire Veteran. Its dealership like yours makes me proud to be a serviceman.
