When I asked about contacts (which I have never worn) he simulated (with "glasses) what the vision would be like for me. Said I could try contacts if I like, and IF I am not comfortable with them after a few attempts at his office. I was not obligated to purchase. Im so happy I decided to come back here again.. after five years. This place is very nice, cozy, exceptionally great customer service. It feels nice that the staff and doctors care about their patient. Dr. Shin was really nice, friendly and thorough making me feel at ease and comfortable. She was also really sweet. The staff make sure you get the best deals and go over step by step with what the insurance covers and doesn't cover and giving you options to add on or not and also providing great discounts and inform you of the yelp check in deal and the yelp coupons to save you money. My first time I came in for my daughter, I wasn't inform of the yelp deal but my second visit for myself, the staff that help me, Ms. Xiomara (Im sorry if I spelled it wrong) went above and beyond assisting me with choosing the color for my frames, and doing her best to get me a great deal on my frames and lens. I had an appointment to get a pair of glasses and Christine was so lovely and helpful. She was very patient with me as I'm a pretty indecisive person and it takes me a while to decide on a pair of glasses that work well on me, especially from the large selection they have. I ordered a pair of glasses and when I received them, I felt that the frames were too big on me so I went back in and Christine happily helped me with exchanging and ordering a different pair. In 2012 my daughter and I came to this Optometry to get our eyes checked. Back in 2012 my daughter did not need glasses and I did. Just last week I decided to come back because my daughter had been complaining that she was having a difficult time reading from far. After our second experience with this establishment I had to put in a great review. Just like 2012, today Rachel and all the staff had been nothing but professionals. From the first phone call to set up your appointment, from the time you walk in all the way until your prescriptions arrive they have been great. The place is very clean and well kept, Doctor Andy Kongsakul answered all of our questions and did not rush me out the door even when the place was full with people waiting and they have a very large selection of glasses to choose from. Dr. Crystal was very nice and gentle. The office staff are so helpful, Christine and Jesus so nice and helpful.

I have to say it was a clean and organized business. Soon as I walked in I got greeted by friendly staff, they took my info and then just waited for the optometrist Dr. to see me. The pre-tests where quick and harmless , the staff member that pre tested me was informative of each procedure that was being done to me. Dr. k Was friendly and knowledgeable, he made me feel at ease which was cool. This store was up on their technology not like others still doing things manually and with brochures, with his computer he pulled up a 3D animation showing me what I have and also he showed me the inside of my eyes which was to make sure I didn't have any pop blood vessels or anything that wasn't suppose to be there. I say that this optometry should be on top of your list or if your on the border between this one and another I recommend this one. read more

I have been a patient for many years, great place to get glasses and eye exams. Dr Field has been around for decades!!!!

So I'll start off by saying that the last time I got my eyes checked, I got them checked at Lens Crafters and not having experienced any other optometrist, I thought my experience then was fine. Now that I've come to doctor Andy Kongsakul at Valley Optometry Eyecare, I realize that my experience then was very bad. And that says a lot. My experience here was awesome the doctor checked everything very thoroughly until he felt comfortable with my prescription. When he was sure he gave me a pair of glasses with my exact prescription and I immediately could see beautifully. It was honestly crazy for me. lol At LensCrafters, the optometrist told me I needed and had to get 2 pairs of glasses, 1 for reading, and 1 pair for all day everyday use. Here the doctor immediately told me that I did not need 2 pairs of glasses, he said I only needed one and that was an immediate relief since glasses are not cheap. Not only that but it showcased the sincerity of this establishment. After my eye exam and after receiving my prescription Jesus immediately helped me pick out my glasses and he was also amazing! I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone. read more

I was referred to this place by my friend Derek. I went here for the first time last week and the staff was very knowledgable and nice. They even let my husband go inside with me for the exam. They are honest about which deals is best for you to get with the insurance being applied. I had the lady optometrist. I forgot her name but she was sweet and easy going. I have only been to Lenscrafters and its always busy and kind of hectic so going to this place made me felt comfortable. Its quiet and not busy so you don't get that rushed feeling. =) read more
