BAIT AND SWITCH WARNING.... found this store on Facebook through an add they had listed. Asked employee "Lucky Ror" for a quote out the door on a set of tires and received a response of $900. I IMMEDIATELY drove 1.5 hours, tires weren't on site, said to have to wait 1 hour to get them from a warehouse. He then said he couldn't honor his written quote, and that it would now be $1000. Tried to sell different tires, and ultimately, I left with nothing.... a waste of 3 hours of my time and gas. Absolute joke of a shop that has no accountability. He gave us a discount, not for no reason, but because my bf is a frequent worker (so just cause I make this post don't think you should expect to get discounted services so easily lol, he sees him nearly everyday so what I'm speaking on his character; morally a good man but please keep in mind, he runs a business that supports his family) who drops off tires for his business. I told him how much I appreciate him because it's re ally tough, these days to put money into your car. I've been a long customer at this tire place I'ld say from about 2006. Things are not the same since the owner's son runs the business. Called for 2 used tires in excellent condition size 225/65/17 and said they have them in stock. Drove all the way from Roseville and the tires were at about 30% thread instead of 80% per our phone conversation. The owner said my tire pressure monitor system needed me to drive a while and it would go off, well it didn't! This business doesn't even know how to air up tires! My monitor is all out of whack! I came back to this business about 3 minutes prior to closing and couldn't get anyone to put air in brand new tires! The owner and all of the employees stood around looking at each other like idiots. The owners excuse was " Id have to turn on my compressor". If you want excellent service don't visit Valley Tire and waist your money. Go see a reputable business and spend the extra bucks. I bought my rims from here a couple months ago and I had issues with the sales guy telling me when I would get them. I specifically needed them by a certain date and the sales guy said that I would have them by then. I had to call and keep checking up on them and he kept saying that it would be here the next day. I didn't get them until over a week later. I was irritated because I could have gotten them somewhere else, had he told me the truth. The only reason that I waited for the rims from here was because I had already paid for them in full. The sales guy kind of made up for it at the end by giving me free wheel locks, which I was going to purchase. Fast forward a few months, i decided to give them another try and went in to ask for spacers for my rims. He told me that he was going to call around and let me know when they will come in. It has been over 3 weeks now and no call. Needless to say, I will never give this place business again. read more

Stock tires were going to cost an arm and leg so I was looking to go up a size and get a more common sized tire. Raheel didn't even flinch answering my questions and test fitting rims to my car so I could see how it looked. In the end, I got 4 wheels and tires, mounted, balanced, tpms swapped over, lugs and locks for less than the cost of 4 stock tires...BY FAR. I think the thing that stuck out most was that Raheel said "We don't want a one time job, we want you to come back and build a relationship. If there's something youre unhappy with, let us know and we can fix it". We will def be back for our other cars and will refer our friends and family here too. I paid hundreds of dollars to have them installed, two days later I noticed one of the calipers had fallen off?? probably in the middle of the road all because they didn't install them correctly. I was driving on I-80 and suddenly my tire pressure started to drop in one of my tires! I asked "Siri" where I could go to air up my tire and Valley Tire and Wheels came up. The area where they are located doesn't exactly look inviting-- they are a diamond in the rough. I had picked up a staple, which they were able to remove & patch for me within about 20 minutes. It only cost me $20. They didn't try to push me into buying a new tire or upsell me. They listened to what I needed and got me taking care of efficiently. I listened to other customers who came in & everyone was very happy with their work .The gentleman running the place operated with high integrity and respect. I would have given the place five stars, but the bathroom was out of order. With a working bathroom this place is a five-star place! I had a 40 minute drive home after going to my destination.
