    Peach wine slushie!
    April H.

Went last night to Valley Vineyards to celebrate with the hubby 14 years of a happy marriage. The weather was gorgeous! And normally I would prorest if you took me out and I had to cook my own meat-but this was so much fun and the hubby did all the grilling! If you haven't been here yet you gotta go. Hubby reserved us a table for their cookout. Hubby and I ordered the Vintner Dinner. It included your choice of everything the House Dinner offered (NY Strip, Salmon, Shrimp or Crab Cakes and buffet) plus a Fillet Mignon, 2 premium drinks that cover any wine, beer, or wine slushie. We ordered the Fillet Mignon and it was a beautiful cut of meat!! It just melted in your mouth. You can look online at their menu options! We were so full. The buffet was fantastic, their baked potatoes were amazing! And they had live music from a country group Hearts on Fire. We had an absolute ball. Reservations are taken between 5:00-7:30 pm. Let them know if the size of your party changes because they prepare food fresh based on the reservation size. (They also offer private dinners outside of the normal cookout hours if you want a private event) They also have food you can order from the kitchen like cheese boards, Bavarian pretzels, chips and salsa, nachos and cheese, Caprese Platter, Valley Potato Chicken Boats and more! This place is under new ownership and they said to come back again this spring to see all the new things they're doing! The staff treats you like family and you can tell they've been making people happy for a long time. We took home a bottle of Raspberry Wine and Bourbon Barrel Aged Mead!! They also have craft beer!

I was at Valley Vineyards last week and the wine and beer was absolutely incredible. Make sure to try the Merlot!

Went to visit family in Ohio, and they recommended we visit Valley Vineyards for some food, wine, and beer. One thing I liked a lot about Valley Vineyards was that it's also a brewery! The meat was good, and the sides were buffet style. I recommend the Valley Red Blend and Rose for the wines, and for the beer, I enjoyed the West Coast IPA. It's definitely a wonderful place to sit outside, enjoy a glass of wine with some live music.

Nice stop for travel to Kings Island or just coming into Cincinnati. They have selection of white and red wines... sparkling wines and beer from the Cellar Dweller Brewery. As the warmer weather rolls on try one of their sparkling champaigns. Plenty of on site park. They do have food. Check website for their menu.

Best mead I've ever had. Ambiance of sitting outside listening to music with a bottle of wine on ice was fabulous.

Not really impressed. Flights are only 3 pours and quite pricey compared to other higher end wineries.

I found this winery by chance. I was going to a tea party at a nearby lavender farm and drove by…read morethe winery and gave it a look. The property was beautiful. As I drove down the driveway toward the tasting room, I took in all of the gardens and the grapes that were growing. When I got there I walked along a path that was lined with greenery and flowers. When I got inside, I was greeted by the owner Tony. Tony was lovely and so helpful, he explained the different wines, and they were clearly marked for sweetness level or for how dry they were on the sheet where you chose your samples. I did choose four samples to try, and I really liked one of them. I am more of a sweet wine gal, and I have been trying to branch out a little bit, but I'm just not there yet. And talking to Tony I found out that his son is also in the wine business and he is in the wine business in California. Tony also sources some of his grapes from California. I also found out that he has three Airbnb's on this property one is over the tasting room and then two are at the front of the property. It was so beautiful there and I ended up bringing a couple of bottles of wine home. I also ate my lunch there, but they do not have a food license so I picked some local cheese that they had in a refrigerator and some summer sausage from a sausage maker in Cincinnati and he handed me a knife and cutting board so I made my own charcuterie and it worked out perfectly. There were so many lovely places to sit outside and have my lunch but it was about 90° and not much breeze so I ended up staying in. If I am ever in this part of Kentucky again, I will stop for another late lunch and wine tasting! Kudos to Tony he did a wonderful job.

Love the super laid back feel of the barn inside and outside. The server was very friendly and welcoming too. Most of the wines here are on the sweeter side but they do offer a few dry wines too. We opted for a couple flights of six wines too try. Their Petite Syrah and Terzetto (Cabernet Sauvignon, merlot, Sangiovese blend) were my top two dry wines. Overall, pretty solid place, and one I could see visiting again.
