Dear Small Businesses, I want to support you, but you arent making it easy. Despite consistently friendly service, Im not finding much 'Value' here. Too bad, too, as they are friendly and mostly efficient, but prices here have skyrocketed. Just a few months back I used to pay $2-4 for an alteration, now they charge $12 for the same work. A hem used to cost $10 and now costs $15. The turnaround time is pretty standard, about 3-5 days. I want to support them, but I just spent $70 to have 2 pants hemmed and 3 shirts get minor tears sewn up, so I dont think I can afford to support this business. read more

So glad we found this place, just a few blocks from home! It's incredibly quick, with wonderfully pleasant service and reasonable prices. It's clean and organized, and they also launder comforters. Finding a great dry cleaner has been challenging. The last few places we've tried have had some pretty sub par service, and were quite pricey, to boot. I don't usually take my clothes to the dry cleaner because it is such a hassle. I had a formal though and needed my suit cleaned. I brought some other shirts and pants along since I was going anyway. I am super happy with the results. They starched and pressed everything perfectly. But amazingly they removed a grease stain from one of my shirts that I assumed was impossible to remove. I recently got a bridesmaids dress altered here. I called to ask if they could do the alteration for me since I had called around a couple other bridal places who said they couldn't do it for me since I didn't buy the dress at their store. The gentleman (owner) that answered was very willing to help me and told me I could come in that same day to get it measured and the dress would be ready in a week based on the necessary alterations I had described. I came in and got the measurements done but I felt kind of bad because the other owner (his wife) wasn't working that day is it was pretty busy since people kept coming in for their dry cleaning while the owner was trying to got my measurements done. He was running back and forth a lot and was so apologetic when he had to step away to help another customer. I didn't mind at all though and I was happy to see that they were a successful business and had a lot of loyal customers! Anyway, I received a call less than a week later and they told me my dress was ready for pick up. I picked it up and he told me they found a way to do all my alterations for cheaper than we initially expected! I was so stoked! On top of that, the alterations were perfect and the dress fit great! This is a great business. My boyfriend even came here after to get his pants tailored because they did such a great job on my dress. I am a loyal customer now. read more

I came to this business to take advantage of their alterations and sewing. Given there is no military base nearby it's always a struggle to find a business that can provide the precision that is needed for military regulations. The owner followed my instructions perfectly, measuring and marking the locations for rank and service stripes on dress blues and the sewing of name tapes, rank and badges on 2 sets of ACUs.
