Upon entering the store I noticed how clean and maintained the store was. The fruit and vegetables look so fresh. I went to the hot foot section to order lunch. The staff was friendly and even let me try a free sample of one of the items I was unsure about. I ordered their bbq wings, it came with two sides. I got Mac&cheese and yams. My only complaint is that the yams were very very stringy. Because i stayed 30 minutes from the location I could not drive back right away. I called and the Chef Mike apologized and offered to provide me another side when I do return. The food was also very reasonable priced for good shareable portions.

On top of all of this, they recently commenced a far Left, "woke" advertising campaign, which precludes my patronage. No thanks Meijer. The store itself is set up nicely and does have a great selection of produce and items. Their bakery was great and the bagels were fresh and well stocked. Produce looked good, great meat counter and deli as well. Just not as big as other stores, and seems like more of a smaller, more limited selection of items. The staff here that I interacted with was great, efficient and really helpful. I picked up some chicken salad from the counter and when I had it for lunch it was really super good. I'm fussy about chicken salad, and these people actually make it good. They had a gourmet one, but I didn't get it and went with the traditional salad instead. Overall, the place does have good vibes, just smaller than I had anticipated. I would gladly stop in here again to pick up items for lunch at work.

The star of the show here is the meat counter and the Deli. But every other department (and I shop them all) is solid. You won't find the breath of product offered in a Big Box Supermarket here. But the product selection might be considered fine-tuned to a customer's needs. Trust me, this is a market with a small footprint, and terrific grocery offerings. A fun shopping experience for me.
