While I can't speak to the oil change services, I can speak about the Everwash car wash, that is part of the facility. I paid with cash and did not receive any change. After the wash, I went into the Valvoline, showed my receipt and asked about it. I was told that I should call the number on the car wash, which I did. After navigating through a number of prompts, I ended up with a message stating that if I wasn't an Everwash member, to contact the location of the car wash. As I was still at Valvoline, I mentioned this. While the receipt was noted that I hadn't received change and a picture was taken of the receipt, nothing was done. I tried submitting a copy of my receipt on the Everwash website, the same one noted by Valvoline that I hadn't received my change, and was told by Everwash that since I wasn't a member, I had to contact the location of the car wash. Lesson learned.....If this is how cash paying customers are treated, how are members treated. As far as Valvoline and their relationship with Everwash, this isn't a good look for either. read more

One thing for sure never going back they ruined my car and my weekend as well expense. got a oil change 10/24/25 notices a oil spill on my car not only me the other guy that was next as well. Saturday went on my trip to Michigan abt 8:30 night my car stopped middle of nowhen. It was a scary situation with my child inside at a dark place. The manager gave me my oil sticker reminder and put it at 2500 miles. Just a sham to come back more frequently my wife went yesterday. they couldn't locate the oil filter and took off my engine shield/ protector which is no where near the filter. They didnt fasten it back on. Opened the hood and it was just laying on top of the engine. I had to go to the stores buy new fasteners and install it myself back on. Don't come here. Bad busi and they clearly have no idea what they are doing when they work under your hood. I don't trust them with my car at All!! read more

I have been a loyal customer to this location for many years and now that I have an issue they DO NOT stand behind their work. They have been the only ones servicing my car and recently I have an issue and they do not care about customer service. I received an email with a call back number that went to the care center and no one knew the person (Goeff) that emailed me and how to contact them. I believe he is the manager at this location and when I was finally able talk to him and reach him I got nowhere on my claim and he basically told me tough luck not their issue. Then while I was talking to him he decided it was best to hang up on me when I was asking questions and telling him that I was going to take this up to a corporate location since this Bartlett location is a franchised location and not one that cares. It must be nice to have enough business to not care about losing a loyal customer. I will now tell all that will listen to NOT use this location for any type of services and I will not be going back. I decided to go back since I had a Groupon and live close. Well the nightmare continued. This time I was brought in quickly. The tech Gregory was very friendly and did a great job for what was done. However the other guy who might of been a manager destroyed my experience. They happened to not have my cars filter in stock. This guy told me I can go the nearest auto store to buy one and come back. I asked him if he would reimburse me for the filter and he said no "since I am already getting a great deal with the Groupon". I quickly left after that and will never return! read more

This is no longer an oil masters. Looking at other reviews, it seems that when the name changed, the prices increased. I showed up on a Friday at 5, not knowing the aforementioned fact. Now here's the thing, yes I thought it was expensive. With a Jiffy Lube coupon (they accept competitor's coupons) it was 36 dollars. I knew I had a coupon at home for NBT for 20, so I was kinda bummed knowing I could have had a cheaper oil change. I am totally sold on this place though. I had my 7 month old with me and I was semi dreading keeping her entertained at an oil change facility. But hey, us moms gotta do what we gotta do. Imagine my surprise when they told me to stay in the car. Um, what? I'm down! They talked me through exactly what they were doing and we were in and out in 10 minutes! One of the technicians made small talk and was beyond friendly as well. I also heard him guiding what seemed like a newer technician to ensure everything was being done correctly. It was one of the best oil change experiences I have had. I know it was more costly than other locations. But, they saved me time and frustration of an oil change. read more

You pull in and don't get out of your car. I have an SUV so I was given the option of 3 price choices of $65, 89 & 112, it was strongly suggested that I do the most expensive one!!!! I should have driven away...but both doors were closed down around me and I was kind of in a hurry. Lesson learned! I chose the $65 option...then began the questions for all the upcharges! Ugh! I had used this place once before and it took about twenty minutes. 2000 Tundra 4.7 4x4. The truck has 2 plastic splash/ skid plates one left and one right and a metal one in the center. The oil filter is up over the left plastic splash guard that is held in with three screws. After sitting in the truck for 40 minutes I was told they were having trouble with the metal skid plate. I told them they only needed to remove the left plastic one with three self-tapping screws. Too late they had all three plates off. My former mechanic who just retired used to take it off from the top. So I was there an hour and the plates were put back on with an impact tool. $75.00 oil change which is typical for synthetic. Toyota charges $71.00 with a tire rotation lesson learned. read more

Car Wash Review Only:: It sounds great in description but if your car/truck has any kind of dirt or grime don't bother! I have been here 5 times.. first two times my truck left spotless, last three I pulled away FILTHY! The towel I used to dry my truck turned black and it wasn't even that dirty at all. This was a very friendly, honest and efficient service that was provided to us. The entire staff is super nice and knows exactly what they're talking about and they don't try to sell you additional stuff. Will was especially helpful and helped resolve an issue for free. Another member of the team drove a half hour in order to pick up the part that was broken by the previous oil service provider and replaced it for free. Not sure how many other places do this but I am not aware of any. We will definitely be taking our business back here for many years to come. Let's face it. Most people don't change their own oil anymore and 15 minute oil change stations are a dime a dozen. Their service is a commodity item and typically price and location will win the battle. So how would a lube locale such as this gain a competitive edge? Follow the example of the guys at Oil Masters and make each visit an enjoyable one at a reasonable price and provide great customer service. The dipstick jockeys at Oil Masters are always nice and break the grease-monkey stereotype. Their job is admittedly repetitive, but they don't let it come across when they're talking to customers. Every once in a while, they will push the new air filter or wiper blades, but they're not nearly as pushy with these types of recommendations as other similar facilities are. The best customer service experience I've had at Oil Masters occurred a year ago when my "service engine" light came on the day after I had my oil changed. Thinking that maybe too little oil had been used or the oil plug was loose/leaking, I took my car back in to them and said "can you check to make sure everything with the oil change went okay because my service engine light just came on." They said "no problem" and plugged in an OBDII diagnostics reader to determine exactly why the service engine light had come on. It turns out the error was an emissions error not at all related to the oil change, but likely more to do with my gas cap. They didn't charge me and were happy to help out. Nice! The oil change prices are pretty reasonable, and even though its a bit of an industry-standard scam, get on their mailing list to get the $5 off coupons mailed to you. Oil Masters has been recently remodeled to add a car wash and an updated customer waiting area. The car wash is okay. It's a bit on the expensive side and not all that unique from other touchless car washes. The new customer waiting area is nice as well, and is larger than the old space which could sometimes get crowded on a busy Saturday morning. All-in-all, Oil Masters is a great place. I'll be returning for sure (every 3 months or so.) read more

Slow (30 minutes for a "quick" oil cange (clock started once got in the bay!). Just a change oF oil...no other sevice! High priced...toyota dealer gave price quote $15 lower for full synthetic versus Valvoline at blended! Said tires checked at 35 psi, so "ok", yet 15 minutes later i had car at Discount Tire fir tire rotation and they told me tires were at 31 psi and they inflated them to 35!!!! I had car troubles today. My car died right next to Valvoline, about to turn onto Route 59. I needed a new battery. My husband jumped my car and I immediately took it to the Valvoline parking lot because I thought they were closed for the evening. My husband took off to buy me a new battery. He was going to install it himself. As I was waiting for my husband to get back, the manager came out to the parking lot and said we (the kids and myself) can wait in their lobby where it was nice and warm. My husband came back informing me that Autozone wanted to charge an arm and a leg for a new battery. We were short around $40. The Valvoline manager overheard us and explained to us he might have a battery available. He did have one. And the price was cheaper than Autozone. He even installed it at no additional charge. I never had a company go above and beyond for me when times were tough. At first, the manager didn't even know what was wrong and he wanted us to know we have a place to warm up if needed. Then to top things off, he came to the rescue with the battery. He made my day. He saved me from having to tow my car to my house because I wasn't able to afford a new battery from Autozone. I would have had to wait until Friday for a new battery. He also saved us from the cold. It was 5:00PM, cold, and dark. He went the extra mile to help me when he didn't have to. He was pretty amazing!! The other employees who worked in the shop were awesome too! You can definitely tell the managers amazing customer service skills has influenced the other employees. I've taken my car here twice, within 6 weeks of getting an oil change each time my oil light went on indicating Low Oil. They don't top off the oil in your engine, they fill it to a predetermined level and stop. In order to save the company a couple bucks in oil they let you run the risk of damaging your engine. On Wednesday, April 4th, I got in my car and the tire pressure showed a drastic drop (meaning flat tire is in minutes). Using some quick thinking I made it to the Valvoline on Rt. 59 (2 blocks from where I was at) in the nick of time. Okay so let me start. Pulled in there and the gentleman said go in and my wife says after being stopped I was told to go in. He wasn't very gentle and explaining that she needed to be guided in. Next, the staff was very unfriendly. My wife went to pay and was inside made comments and the person rendering service behind the cash register didn't even say thank you. Next, the free wash machine did not work and they never even said come back or gave any coupon to come back for a free car wash which was part of our coupon. They never said that they were sorry or offered any bit of remorse or there machine malfunction. They never most importantly never said thank you for the business. We spent $100 on a synthetic oil change and could have gone to Toyota where it was $60. So you'll be going back to Toyota for now on. read more

I took my car in for a coolant flush. I was told there is a leak in the transmission. The next day I popped the hood and found a drain cap sitting on the battery. I ran the car and sure enough there was liquid running on the driveway. My daughter drives this car into the city and this store returns my car with a drain cap sitting on the battery and liquid pouring out? I am horrified by this level of dangerous incompetence. People make mistakes, but aren't there people there double checking the work? I now have to take my car into another shop to undo this mess. read more

Terrible... Just terrible... If you want a seized car which is your engine blown out come here.. It took me a while to write this because I've been working really hard on getting a new engine for my car. There goes 8k.. Long story short, I got an oil change that compared to other places it was $40, the guy that changed my oil didn't tighten my oil plug enough.. Plug then explodes off while driving, my oil light comes on, oil drains out, car engines starts smoking and car engine dies. GONE. My car is now garbage, still paying off the loan and on top of that trying to get another engine. Told the shop manager that I needed to speak to the owner, the owner never called me. Took it to my dealer and even they blamed the last person who changed my oil. The reason I didn't sue is because I consulted a lawyer and he said that the case may get continued and continued and that it may not guarantee a win, so I ended growing a pair of balls unlike this shop and decided to just pay for a new engine, then at least I know my car will for sure get fixed rather than throwing my money on court and lawyers. I've brought all of my vehicles to this place for oil changes for years. My small children had their first car wash experiences here and are always asking to stop for a wash when we drive by. The customer service I received today was shocking and embarrassing! I stopped in for a quick car wash. They have a touch less carwash that's only good for a quick rinse really. When I pulled into the wash, I sat there for a while, writing an email on my phone, when I realized the wash had soaped the car and stopped. I looked up and saw the drive forward light and stop light were alternately flashing. I moved my car up, maybe an inch or two. The arm reset to its stowed position and the door was open and the dryers were on. I pulled out with soap all over the car. A very kind and attentive employee came out and said he'd noticed the car had not been rinsed and reset the machine for another wash. I thanked him and went for the wash. Again, the machine soaped my car and did not rinse it. The gentleman came back out and said he'd need to get the manager. Then comes out this joke of a man. He may have been a boy, I'm not sure; but he had the attitude of a big man, with the body of a boy. He began questioning me and insinuating that i'd broke their machine. I found his line of questioning insulting, but hey- it's Christmas! I'm not about to overreact to this man child's arrogance. I looked at my filthy car and said, I'll tell you what. I'm going to run over to my son's school and do some crafts with him. After that, I'll be back and get an oil change. I imagine you'll be able to discount my oil change the $5 I paid for the wash. He said, well I'll have to check with the owner because it'll cost us $260 to repair the damage. I said: what I hear is that you're blaming me for damaging your wash bay? He said yup. I called him an expletive and left. All of the employees are standing around watching this napoleonic joke insult me. I have been running repair shops for more than 20 years. I currently run a truck dealership service department with a large fleet of small vehicles that I've been looking to outsource the work on. This facility will not be considered. I also live in the same town as this facility and I'll be sure to spread the word about their incompetent manager. Been coming here for 10 years for oil changes. They've always been reasonably priced with decent service. Today I came in for an oil change and the staff recommended a new battery as well. After it was done my dashboard display with my mileage and gas gauge went dim. I'm no car expert but when something electronic was working prior to arriving and then after the battery was changed it stopped working, I have to figure something happened in between those steps. Though somewhat courteous, the owner was not taking ownership of the problem. I was not happy but willing to take him at his word and move on...until one of the mechanics came out to confront me and infer that I "manufactured" the problem with the display before I got there. His being a jerk aside, one problem: I was there for an oil change not a new battery! Take responsibility for your actions. Criminally incompetent and unprofessional. read more

First time customer with no intention to return. Only 2 of the 3 garages we're open at the time so I waited behind a couple of cars behind first door / garage. Attendant indicated the cars currently in the 2 bays would be done momentarily while another attendant then proceeded to open the 3rd garage. After waiting in line for about 25 minutes for the car that was suppose to be done momentarily; I decided to leave after cars that arrived well after me jumped ahead in line by filing into the other 2 lines / garages. If I wasn't in a rush I would have stayed around to complain but figured I rather take my business elsewhere. read more
