Efficient, knowledgeable & communicative staff that doesn't try to up-sell you on every service they offer, only what you need. What more can you ask of a service provider? Hard to fully evaluate their service when I can't even get served. Tried to go three different times during the day only to face 1 hour+ wait times, and finally asked the tech when I should come back - he said "first thing in the morning, right when we open". I arrived 10 minutes before they opened and was second to arrive - someone else was already waiting. No worries, I think, they have two bays I'll get seen right away. They only open one bay - the tech come out and says they're only doing one bay at a time because an employee is late. If you have hours on your hands to spend waiting, please do tell me how your oil change was. Me, I have a job, a family, and a life that all need "service" too. read more

Just got the best service at this location. I'm sure certain technicians in the past have different levels of customer service but the crew today was top notch. They were quick even with a line of customers. They were helpful and not trying to upsell me on things. The technician showed us our oil level before sending us on our way and even made sure we kept the coupon we used for the next time we came in. I visited on a Saturday morning arriving at 9:10a with 1 car in the bay and 1 car in front of me. I got an oil change and drove out of there at 10:55a. The wait was kinda long but the service was amazing so I don't mind the wait at all. It is nice you do get to wait in the comfort of your car. The mechanics work together and make sure all things are set before you drive off. One of the mechanics explained things as he went along and the other was saying aloud what he's checking off as he worked on the engine. I was able to get $15 off conventional oil change with a coupon. All in all, great bang for my buck will come again. read more

Went in for my first ever oil change (new driver, first-time car owner) and I was nervous because I didn't know what to expect from it but they were extremely helpful and thorough in involving me through the process, showing me exactly what that were doing and what services were included in the service I was paying for. Got a Groupon which saved me some $$ and also they gave me a discount on other items for just using a Groupon! Left feeling extremely reassured and satisfied with my experience. I love that I can just hang out in the car and the team seems really communicative throughout the whole process. I personally think it's great that you can watch what they're doing and interactions. The waiting kind of sucks but waiting is part of life and it seemed to move reasonably quickly and was pretty accurate of a wait to what I was told when they got some brief details. Been going here for more than 5 years for service, no more after today. Call ahead to specifically talk about the service I needed. Was told to bring it in they could do it. Arrived only to be told that they didn't know how to do it. Wasted my time and more importantly abused my vehicle driving there when I had told then it already wasn't working right. People here aren't mechanics, if it isn't basic service you want it is not the place to go. read more

Took my car in to have the headlight changed. The technician didn't know what he was doing, broke the headlight fixture, then lied about it. The wiring started to burn and when I took it back, they denied any responsibility. Ended up taking it to a reputable shop where they flat out said "whoever changed your bulb didn't do it right and broke the light fixture." Cost be $600. Avoid this lying, incompetent scam business at all costs! I will be writing a letter to corporate. read more

I've been frequenting this business for years. Just stopped in today and to my chagrin, there has been a change in ownership. Now instead of dropping off the car or relaxing the lobby you have to sit In the car. Here's another business that doesn't give a crap about it's customers. I'm sure the owner or CEO just sits in his car when he gets an oil change instead of sitting in the lobby, going to lunch, or going back to work. Almost every oil change place has at least a crappy lobby to sit in. But not this place, because they apparently hate their customers and they should have to sit in their car for who knows how long. What a damn joke. Another company out of touch with their customers and basically telling them to get fucked. Well I'm done with this place and I will be moving on. Should have known better about this place after Pit Stop sold out. Had been coming here for years when it was independently run and always got the oil change done in less than hour, but won't be darkening their driveway again after today. Sat in a short line for well over an hour, and even moved into another lane after asked by the staff due to some kind of sequencing issue, and then they had the audacity to ask me to move AGAIN, this time as I was now 2nd in line and the car ahead was wrapping up, to accommodate another car in the other lane. As I was already 75 minutes into my hour-long lunch break, the only option I had left was to leave. First of all, as in any other business on the planet, YOU'RE IN THE LINE YOU'RE IN. You don't shuffle customers around because you can't keep all your lanes moving at the same speed, and you certainly don't bump people up or down based on who you think got their first. Second, no level of quality is worthwhile if you can't be even remotely expedient about it. This shouldn't have taken nearly as long as it did. If I can't rely on getting an oil change STARTED, let alone completed, in less than 60 minutes like every other business of this type can do, then forget it. And the place had plenty of employees milling about, so don't pull the now tired "short staffing" excuse here. Awful shame, this place was very convenient to get my vehicle serviced, and more importantly, I trusted them. Now they're no better than any McOilChange joint out there. read more

My first, and last, visit at VIOC in Burien, WA. Went there on a Friday at about 9:20 am and there were only two cars ahead of me. However, it took the technician 90 min to service them! And you call the service "an instant oil change"? They started to change my oil at about 10:50 am and were done at 11:15 am with me sitting in my car for nearly two hours! And, by the way they were working I only knew what to expect when left. The area under the hood was an oily mess which took me another 30 min to clean. Extremely disappointed. read more

I've been to this location a few times and one other, there are only two bays so I imagine later in the day you could be sitting there for quite some time. I came half an hour after opening, waited 45 minutes before rolling in. I must say, while the wait can be strenuous, surely so is their job at times. Just a thought, maybe someone can get word to the right people and get a appointment setting system for the app if not there already. Anyways, I was pleasantly greeted while they assessed what work i needed and got it done FAST. I, like the car before me was out of there in under an hour with a checklist of things i needed done this morning completed. Thank everyone here for the work that you do! PS.. I used a coupon which i've found hit or miss at places sometimes they are received with attitude or even get a lesser product or service as result. Contrary to this business/location here, one of the lady attendants reminded me before leaving as a promotion with the coupon I'd receive an additional discount on top of other service. The only reason why I gave him three stars was that I got a half off coupon so could have been a lot more expensive. they were extremely slow so I would definitely if you don't have a hotspot on your stuff. you know I don't know what you're going to do. guess you can walk across parking lot and get a coffee that might help. so yeah so it's it's not a fast Trip I saw five people standing around for an hour and a half. I finally drove into the bay and the attendant turned the screen to me and showed me 3 choices for Oil and he exclaimed good, better, Best...I said synthetic blend please and he said" unfortunately we are out of that..I said how about full synthetic and he said sorry we dont have that either!! Took my wife's car for an oil change because she had a promotional coupon. After waiting over 1 and a half hours, I was pulled into the bay. I'm not bitching about the time just giving an accurate account. I was approached by a woman who seemed like the manager. I told her I just wanted the oil changed and nothing else. After disregarding what I just stated, she tried to upsell me several services that the vehicle didn't require, with the exception of the air filter, which I already had at home. Eventually, she started the oil change, or her "tech" did. The first sign of trouble was when he couldn't get the oil filler cover of the valve cover. He called her over to help, but she couldn't figure it out. Finally, a gentleman came over who seemed a little more at ease with a vehicle and literally grabbed it and spun it off. After a few minutes, the "tech" started adding oil, after which he pulled the dip stick to the check level. This is when the meeting of the mknds happened no less than five people came to check the oil level. When I asked what was wrong, the manager told me they overfilled my car, but it should be ok. I told her it wouldn't, and they needed to drain the excess. After 10 or 15 minutes, I was told they did. When I got home later, I found the vehicle was almost two quarts over. I basically had to do another oil change at home, which we were trying to avoid. Had I driven the car around with that oil level, it could have severely messed my wife's car up. Stay away cheap ( I say that with a smirk) oil changes can cost thousands later. read more
