It included replacing every fluid - oil, brake, trans, differential, coolant - plus all filters, tire rotation, throttle cleaning, and more. I had the car in at 8:30 and it was done by 4:00. I've waited at Berman's 3 hours just to get an old change and tires rotated. Not only that, but the guys there were great to deal with, especially Nabor. I'm moving out of state soon, but if I wasn't this would be the only place I would take my car. I cannot recommend Avondale Auto Repair highly enough. Make it 6 stars.

After inspecting the tires, they told me they were wearing evenly and didn't need to be rotated--so they didn't charge me for it. I took my car in because my sunroof was stuck open. They gave me an estimate to fix it and I agreed to have the service done. Ultimately they were not able to fix it and I still had to take it to the dealer for repair who told me the damage that was done would result in an even more expensive repair. Overall, I had a horrible experience with poor communication throughout. They had my car for several weeks and I had to chase them for updates. After the first week with no updates, I finally reached the shop manager and the response I got was to "be patient". This was the state of my car when I picked it up, which was not the state I dropped it off in. Although my car was over 10 years old it was in nearly perfect condition when I dropped it off. The car was hit while parked on the street outside the shop. When I saw the damage I went back into the shop and they sent me to their body shop to have it buffed out. Much of the damage came out but not all of it. Nothing was offered to rectify the damage done to the interior of the car. I sent emails to the shop with the pictures below, but got no response.

I have to give them credit as they changed my oil but things went badly wrong beyond that…read more They informed me I had an oil leak. This was correct. My oil pressure sensor was in fact leaking. They said the sensor cost $110 and labor would would be two hours for $150ish. I had my other car have this sensor failure last year. I pointed out the auto parts store on the next block had the sensor for $26 and you literally just unscrew the sensor. They came back with a bid just over $100 with a special appointment. I drove to my usual mechanic and we got a sensor for $11 lifetime warranty and 0.6 hours labor for around $70. The lift was occupied so we attacked the problem with floor jacks with most the time getting around the oil filter.
