I came in for a simple oil change, and a technician said they'd check my cabin air filter. Without giving me the cost or asking if I wanted it replaced, they removed the filter and then told me it would be $60 to install a new one. At that point, I felt pressured into paying for something I didn't plan for. The lack of transparency made the experience feel pushy. Not only that, the technicians argued with me about this malpractice because "no one else has ever had this issue before". Just be aware and ask for exact pricing before they touch anything beyond what you came in for. read more

Absolutely disgusting service. I went in for a oil change. Upin 15mins of leaving this location all my oil was on the floor. They required I have valvoline take a second look (which was a lie) why would I give you back my vehicle if you can't perform a simple oil change? After a lot of back and forth with coporate I brung the car back. The location seemed pretty agitate... they refilled my oil then told me my transmission was leaking... never heard that during the first visit nor ever with my car. Valvoline agreed to have car looked at by second mechanic & pay for tow. mechanical confirmed that transmission was tampered with. Upper management for this area is Naliegha... we agreed on everything prior to taking the car for a second look. i sent her the bill for reimbursement & she went ghost. I had to call 50times for any acknowledgment. if you don't have a 99 Honda Accord please save your money. They pick up average Joe's from the street to do oil changes. Coporate & area Manager are complete lairs. I will post every documentation I have about this incident. cheap is not always good.. you've been warned. edit* I have a claim number already so don't start with the apologies. On 3/16/2025 I went to the 2808 Panola rd Lithonia Ga location for an oil change. I was even charged an additional 30 dollars for extra oil because of the size of my vehicle, totally 141.24. On 3/21/2025 I'm headed to a location and my truck abs light came on and check engine light starts blinking, I instantly pull over and call my husband. He tells me to get it back home and check the oil in it and diagnostic because we have the machine. I get home and let it sit for a while and check the oil and the stick is literally dry and only the tip is wet slightly. ( I checked it twice). When he got home he checks it as well and then calls valvoline. They send someone to look at it and states that he did find a leak from something not being tighten under the truck and the truck is low on oil. He stated he would let the location know and send to corporate. I follow up today with the store manager Gary and he says that he was told no leak and the paperwork that was returned to him doesn't say anything but a misfire. We informed him and corporate that it's on camera in our driveway of the man saying different and corporate did not offer any help but only filing a claim. All videos was sent to corporate and the store manager. Gary was rude and huffing and puffing while speaking with him and stating that they wouldn't fix it but to take it to a shop. read more

i brought my car in yesterday for an oil change. never been to valvoline and wont be going back outside of them fixing whatever it is they messed up. I've had my car since 2019 and have had several oil changes, my oil light has NEVER come on until now. I can even see the oil just dripping from my car! I'm so upset!! $140 for the oil change and it wasn't done correctly. I asked for a receipt, their printer didn't work and I was supposed to receive it via email. Never got it. Glad I took a photo of their computer because I'm sure they would have tried to pull something if I didn't based off the other reviews. read more

I waited almost an hour for an oil change only for them to try to service the vehicle next to me first after I mentioned that I have been waiting there before anyone else that they were trying to service. They didn't got an attitude with me and asked if I was going to allow them to talk. Simply not feeling the love here. This crew may have the skills for all I know, but they are moving slow... I mean sloooooooow. I've been in line for 45 minutes (no not exaggerating) I stepped up the door to ask if I could please use the restroom.. Tell me the restroom is closed. But clearly they have a working restroom somewhere on the premises. I explain that I've been waiting for an in ordinate length of time and I desperately need to go to the restroom. No love, no suggestions as to where nearby I might go. They just look at me like I was being a nuisance. I would've saved time by driving all the way up to Lawrenceville. I can't get out of line at this point, but clearly this operation is a F'ing joke. I'll give 2 stars to Valvoline because I believe in the product and have had good experience at other locations. read more

This place is a complete rip off. They charged $700 for a simple oil & filter change. Their hourly labor rate is $167, and they claimed it took 2 1/2 ours for an oil change. Be sure you get an advance quote before authorizing services. read more

First time visiting this place since they've changed the name and ownership. Last time we came here, it was about two years ago. Today, I was really impressed with the service. Shameka, Mike, and a couple others staff members serviced mine and my wife's care with such professionalism and detail and thoroughly!!!l I definitely recommend coming here for your service!!! Took my car in for an oil change. my dealership was full so I figured it's an oil change. what could go wrong. after getting the oil change. I drove home. immediately my engine light came on and a message that stated no oil and turn car off. I took the car back to discover that there was no oil in my car. No one was explaining anything to me but I can hear what they were saying. at the end they had to take it back to hub and see what was going on. one tech tells me I have an oil leak. and I don't. another tech states it's the filter. just to put the blame on me. after the correction I asked the tech to explain to me what happened. he stated that the tech pumped in air. now that makes no sense because my engine was about to lock up. no apologies were given. so I will never recommend this place to anyone. poor customer service and communication. read more

I went in for a much overdue oil change during my lunch break at work. I was having one of those sad, stress filled days that everyone gets from time to time, and as I pulled into the garage a wonderful woman named Diamond came over to help. She cracked a joke and made me laugh for the first time today. The service here is wonderful and if there is a wait, its worth it. read more

I probably had the BEST service ever here!!! I went in for an oil change on Saturday morning - no appointment. I was in and out in 10 minutes TOPS! Not only did they do the oil change, but they added air into my tires and vacuumed the inside of my car. If I had gone to Stonecrest Toyota, I would have waited 3 hours (at the minimum) and paid over $200 with all the sneaky must have services they try to add while you are waiting. This will DEFINITELY be my go to place for my standard car maintenance. read more
