I used to always go to 1 place for my oil change with my old car.. they are a good place but wanted to try a new place when I got my new car.. went to one place that was ok but the vibe/ feeling wasn't there.. the job got done but the service just wasn't right.. So then I decided to try valvoline..there's one down the street from me and i pass it alot and always been curious. They looked like a good company and I was right! I'm a uber driver so I need a oil change almost every other month so I need a good place that knows what they are doing and a decent price.. they checked all the boxes.. Both my husband and I brought our vehicles in for a basic oil change full synthetic 6 quarts and that went just fine(or so I thought I will get to that). However, my vehicle was done before my husbands so I pulled around to the side and parked in the only parking spaces the business has. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was then approached by an employee who very rudely stated I needed to move my vehicle because that was employee parking only and his coworker had just gotten back with everyone's lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I pointed out to him that I would have parked in the handicap spot as I am handicapped, but one of their employees who does not have a handicap, placard, or plates displayed decided to park there however I obliged and pulled out of the parking space. After I pulled out of the parking space I couldn't see the sign on the building that says customer and employee parking only. Which I was a paying customer. I had already paid for my service and I was waiting on my husband who was finishing up his service that I was also paying for. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I parked my vehicle at the gas station and walked over to them and pointed out that that was very unprofessional to tell a paying customer who was handicap, but could not park in the handicap parking spot because it was occupied by someone who was not handicapped to move from Customer and employee parking for an employee to park.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I decided to walk over from the gas station where I ended up having to park so tell them that that was incredibly unprofessional to tell a paying customer that they needed to move because it was employee parking only when it in fact was employee and customer parking and that it's not acceptable for them to have someone without displayed placard to be parking in the only handicap parking spot that the establishment has and nobody said a thing I was completely ignored.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I walked back to my vehicle, sat down and an employee came out and approached my vehicle and apologized to me for being parked there that he would have his handicap placard in two weeks however if you don't currently have one legally you shouldn't be parking there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]He stated he was going to move his vehicle however, during the last 10 minutes, I was there he did not move it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went to another store and drove back by and he had still yet to move his vehicle, which means he had zero intent of actually moving his vehicle because clearly he doesn't care about the law and the ability of handicapped people being able to park in the designated handicapped parking spot. On the way home, my husband noticed that he could smell burning oil and there was a little bit of smoking from underneath the hood. He got home, popped his hood open, and they got oil all over the place underneath his hood, which was probably because they were upset that I confronted them in regards to the parking situation. I will not be taking eimy vehicles back to this location nor will I ever recommend them to any of my friends or family. read more

Just decided to try this location for an oil change after using Jiffy Lube for many years. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I am really disappointed that immediately I was pushed to try and upgrade to synthetic oil. Even though I told him I was not interested he kept pushing me telling my why I had to use that type of oil.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I have had my oil changed at the Dealership before and was never told I needed synthetic oil.I don't plan on keeping the SUV too much longer as it is a 2018. So it is not time for me to be making changes now. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plus he tried to up-sell me on many services even though I had it in my mechanic shop for an inspection two months ago.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My air filters are close to being changed out even though I changed them a couple months ago, probably due to the smoke so I took care of those myself. My biggest issue was him telling me I had not had an oil change for 15,000 miles when I never let it go over 5,000 and usually take care of it at 3,000. True that Jiffy Lube did not put the usual sticker in the window but we checked back in our papers and found it was 7,000 miles, our slip-up since we were dealing with many issues on our truck. So our vehicle was low on oil but there is not leaks and our driveway is clean. I went back to Valvoline today to get an oil change with the coupon code that customer service sent me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as I said that I had the coupon I was treated horribly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked how much the oil changed cost and they said over 85.00 and I knew I paid 30.00 less the last oil change so I asked Chad what I paid last time and he said he couldn't look it up. I asked again and he told me he could but it would take too long. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chad yelled at me and said "If you don't like that price then go somewhere else."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked him to not talk to me like that. I am 73, disabled with coronary artery disease. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Then John Leffit came over and started yelling at me. My heart was pounding and I was so afraid.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I told him I have a coupon from customer service and he got even angrier. He typed in the code wrong and said it didn't work. I didn't need an oil change. I wanted my serpentine belt replaced. I stopped in and asked if they did that type of work. To my surprise they did! All I needed was to provide the serpentine belt and they would replace it. They checked my belt I had on the truck and told me that mine was still good. Since I wasn't sure when it was replaced last, I still wanted it changed out. If your belt goes out, you're pretty much dead on the road and you can be in the middle of nowhere. So for my piece of mind, I had it replaced. It took them a few minutes to replace it. I sat in my truck while they did the work. I started the truck and they had me turn on the A/C and everything worked perfectly. I won't have to change the belt for long time now. The staff there were all professional. They did excellent work. They were quick, efficient and worked as a team. I'm going to bring my vehicles there for my oil changes next time. Great job guys! read more

I believe this was my first time writing a review for a non-food operation. My wife's Subaru was due for an oil change and as I was heading to Jiffy Lube as per usual, I drove past this Valvoline and noticed it wasn't busy, so I turned around and stopped. The signs were very clear where to go and I was directed to drive into an open bay. Once in, I was greeted immediately with a warm welcome. I was then instructed to stay in the car which was new me for me and quite fantastic! What impressed me was their professionalism, not only with me but with how they communicated and interacted with each other. I was speaking with someone almost the entire time someone was providing the service, the usual asking if I want an air filter, etc. No hard sales pitch though. This is an outstanding business in every way. I went to the South Meadows location. The technicians are professional, knowledgeable, and polite. I went for the first time yesterday, and the technician, Jean Lafitte, said that I didn't need an oil change because of the low miles. He showed me the dip stick to make his point. Even though I didn't buy an oil change, he put air in my tires, refilled the cleaning fluid, and checked my windshield wipers for wear and tear. And for added convenience, you wait in your car while the work is completed. They also sell car batteries that take them less than 15 minutes to install. Pull right in to the bay and service techs, of which there was 5, immediately started their procedure to do an oil change. I felt like a race car driver pulling into the pits. What a great experience! Can't believe how fast the service was. Very professional too. I think the cost was comparable to what I usually pay at the dealer, but getting to drive up and get an oil change in between running errands sure beats having to get up early to get to the dealer before they get super busy. You can wait in your car during the oil change but since it's a hot day, I chose to wait in the waiting room. It was small but clean and comfortable. 2013 Audi Allroad. The instant service was great; however, while the service guys were working on the vehicle from the bottom, I could hear and feel loud, unsettling noises of metal banging and a hammer torque drill. Once the service was complete, I drove off, and at an intersection, I could hear something fall from the bottom of the vehicle and then metal dragging. Quickly returned to the shop, and after another round of metal banging and hammer torque drilling, the protective metal plate was secure or somehow jimmy-rigged to fasten. I am not due for another oil service, but when it's time, I foresee not-so-good news from my original shop. This shop requires a scheduled oil service, and typically the vehicle is at the shop for 2-3 hours. Before going to the Valvoline shop, I called and confirmed they were familiar with German vehicles and could accommodate an oil service. read more

I went in for an oil change. For the duration of the service, the guy tried to upsell me, telling me all sorts of things needed to be serviced, from the battery to the rear differential. We recently had this car inspected and serviced at Nissan, so all maintenance is up to date. I won't go to this place again when all I want or need is an oil change. read more
