I always have the same opinion of all of the drive through car washes. They technically clean the car but they never seem to do it very well. I like the option they offer for unlimited washes because I definitely would have liked to run through again. I have a pickup and the back window was missed completely, and there were a few spots that could've used a once over. I paid for the top tier wash, and I really don't know what I got for the up charge. The car still came out pretty wet as well. They offer towels to clean windows and interior which I used to towel off the car. The vacuum area was clean and the vacuum world ok. I expected at least a little more. read more

I have been going to Winner's Crossing car wash for years; however, after today's experience I will never go back. First of all, I discovered about 4 months that the price of gas is set higher than what is posted on the sign. Well, posted in small letters next to the price is the words cash/Chevron credit card. If you use a debit or basic credit card, you are charged a much higher price. When I inquired about the higher price, I was offered no explanation and the female behind the counter just glared at me. I figured it out on my own. I decided not to buy gas there again, but I liked the car wash. Today, I went as usual to the exterior wash. I immediately noticed the car wash prices were $4 higher. Holy smokes...I went ahead and paid the extra money and drove into the wash bay. Usually the are two workers who brush down the exterior, but there was only one. This gentleman took about 30 seconds to brush one side of my truck before I began into the car wash. After going through, I pulled to the vacuum and dry area. I immediately noticed there was no longer a spray bottle with a cleaning solution. I wiped down my truck and began vacuuming. Low and behold, no suction on either one. I moved to another stall. One vacuum had suction, the other one, nothing. This was the final straw..I'm done. I'm certain I'll find a better business. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE AT A CAR WASH EVER!!! Took my truck there to get washed on my way out of town - 20 mins later my truck is still sitting with 8 other cars and no one is drying. Still dirty from a half assed wash. Went and got the supervisor that said they would have to send back through again. I explained that this would take too long and now 30 mins since I pulled in I need to get on the road. I asked that the owner call me and gave her my name and number. She should have offered me a refund and made no attempt. This was their top of the line $26.00 wash by the way - not a cheapo $5 wash So I leave there at 2:10pm. At 4:45 I have yet been contacted by the owner who apparently was there when this happened. I call and get a recording.. The Owner finally did call and I insisted on a refund. He tried to lecture me that he just can't make everyone happy... He could have offered me a refund or a detail since now my black truck has water spots everywhere.... Pretty bummed ... changed their prices. Way more then in town . No more 7 day guarantee. (Only reason I drove to this one) I paid $26then an additional 10 to have my mats cleaned... Just price comparing and buggy down off Virginia and plumb would have charged me $22 for the same service. Already here and already paid. But damn I'm disappointed. The service has never been exceptional but the 7 day "rewash"made it worth it. They don't wipe down seats I learned unless you pay extra. My seats and truck area are still wet. The edges and carpet around my seats are not vacuumed. The truck next to mine , when done, sent his truck back through the wash because it wasn't Clean correct. My dash isn't wiped down and I still have dirty interior windows. I was just there. I complained to an employee and he explained they don't wipe the dash or seats unless I pay extra.And he offered to wipe down a stain on the dash.while he took the blue truck next to my car to be re vacuumed... The teenage kid was really nice and you could tell he was flustered. I'm glad this place finally re-opened. I like having access to quality fuel just up the street from my house. I am disappointed that their fuel hose is a single that pumps all 3 grades through it. Would have preferred a hose for each but I'll survive. My pet peeve is getting a hose full of regular grade before the premium starts to flow. The station feels clean since it went through a nice remodel before re-opening. Fairly easy to get in and out of. I haven't used their car wash service or went into the store. W-O-W! I haven't been to Winners Crossing in years and actually then it was called Winners Corner. I had called first and asked if I need an appointment in order to get my car detailed. The gentleman on the phone said, "Not at all. Feel free to bring it in in the morning and we'll just keep it for a couple of hours as we work on it." The initial phone call totally set the tone. Professional, polite and knowledgeable! I took my car in this morning. The lady who greeted me could tell I was a little awkward but she was very kind and helped me pick out the services I was looking for. I left my car with them for 2-hours and received a phone call when it was ready. When I went to pick up my car, the person who had worked on it, called out my name and had wanted to show me a few things before I left. His name was Marcus and I had never met him but I was appreciative that he knew my name and had been expecting me. Marcus showed me where there had been a spot that was a bit tough to get out. Most of it was out and I'm really impressed with the service. The only negative I would say is that I had mentioned a spot to the lady who first helped me; it was still there and I think I'll need to take a toothbrush to it to get it off the dash. Other then that spot being missed, I really enjoyed taking my car here and would do so again. I think the prices were very fair, I'll leave them below! I went to get in my car and had them wipe the dash because there was still dust and dirt. I should have looked at the whole car. They didn't vacuum or wipe anything down. Well a $26 car wash and had to come back for a redo. Still dirty: Front and rear bumpers Mirrors Fender Wells Roof rack Tires Rims Rubber trim Rear seat Center console Windows So hopefully the second wash will be better. UPDATE: Took my car back in, told them of the issues, asked for a rewash. Result...just as bad, I don't know what they did as it was the same. I don't think they did anything except drive it around the back and to the pickup point in front. I asked for the manager on duty, they took me around back, they young man walked around to the pickup point and he offered a rewash, I then told him that's what just happened. I then asked for a refund including the tip. The manager refunded my too in cash and cancelled my charge to my financial institution. I WONT GO BACK EVER. Honestly, I hope nobody ever goes, it a waste of time, money and energy. Not to mention the resources to run the place. They should pull the plug. read more

When taking our super dirty truck in today after the wash we noticed tiny spider scratches on the truck. Great customer service! I came in after a road trip and had bugs all over my car and Jake, one of the techs, took the time to personally scrub the bugs of my car and then ran my car through the wash a third time to make sure there bugs came off. To top it off he checked in with me, after the second time running it through the wash, to make sure I had the time to wait. Honestly, I did not verify that the bugs were gone, because I was so excited and stunned that he checked about my time. Thanks Jake, for taking pride in your work! read more

This review is specifically for the car wash section of this establishment. I come here quite often to get my car washed because it is one of the few around the city that has the rotating brushes and hanging wash cloths that do a more thorough cleaning of the vehicle than those car washes that just shoot high pressure water and soap. I would give the car wash itself a 5 star for the superb job it does cleaning my car, but I will give the employees that work there a three star and here's why...there have been at least three instances where I have left work early and rush to this place to get my car washed, only to arrive between 4:40 and 4:50 to find the employees closing up shop and the automatic payment terminal shut off. That is very frustrating because their hours clearly state that they are open till 5:00 pm. On top of that, most of their employees are not very friendly and do not seem to appreciate the jobs they have. It certainly makes me want to avoid the full service part of the wash and just utilize the automated machine to purchase an exterior wash, because I am not confident in their ability to actually clean my car. read more

I got my husband's Pilot SUV detailed as a surprise for him. It needed it really badly - so badly that there are no "before" pictures as I was too embarrassed to take any ;-). It's the family / his work vehicle so it gets a lot of use. It looks great now. It was 2 hours of intense cleaning and there always seemed to be at least 2 people working on it. I definitely could not have done as good a job (not without a lot of whining anyway) and I'm really happy with how the inside of the windows, the cleaning in all the crevices and the carpet/seats turned out. Everyone was really nice too - helpful and friendly. It was pricey but they have all the right tools to get it done right and we didn't waste an entire day trying to do it ourselves. Next week, my son's Explorer will be detailed as his birthday present. He's hard to buy gifts for as he works full-time and goes to school full-time but I think he'll be pleased with this one! read more

What a joke for a car wash! Paid 30 bucks and left globs of dust on my doors. Went back to the attendant and she explained they only wipe down the dash. They said they would clean my glass. That was a joke! Nothing but a smear job that I had to go back and clean myself. If I was the owner of this business I'd be embarrassed. If you're an employee reading this, shame on you! What a bunch of lazy asses. You would think there would be one person there that would have a little self respect about the job that they did. What a joke! I decided to go with an exterior wash from here rather than through a regular drive through because my car was pretty dirty. There was not any line as I came in the middle of the week. The exterior starts at $6 and increases from there. I decided to go with a $10 wash. I like how the outside is scrubbed by an actual person with soap and a brush. Next you go through the traditional car wash and dryer. My complaint is that my wash did not include a hand dry. I stopped and waited and then was told I was done. My car was all wet still. :( read more

Once again another awful experience in Reno when it comes to service. Their signage says full service car wash which is a full service lie. They was the outside only and you can clean your own interior. Or... You can buy their detailing service. I was willing to pay anything following my burning man experience; I love my car! But they could not handle that!!! They said they needs few hours to get it clean which is stupid rediculos. I have been doing this for years... C'mon kids!!! And I was supposed to get an air freshener but they did not put that in the vehicle. I've went there before and my vehicles come out sparkly clean but this time it did not. Came here a couple of weeks ago. Needed my car hand washed, and they did a pretty good job. Looked great after it was done. Plus no brushes on wrapped hood, roof and trunk. Came out good. They took about 35 to 40 minutes with interior vacuums and all. This was my very 1st carwash in Reno since I just moved here and the drive here was hard on my car (dirt and bugs splats). Extremely poor experience today at winners crossing. Now my husband and I call it losers crossing. I needed a smog check, and the location is very convenient for me. I drove up and after the technicians request for us to exit the car and turn off the air-conditioning, I let him know that I had a one week old baby in the back of the car. The only reason I stopped here was because there was no line and I knew that smog check only takes about 40 seconds. He then proceeded to start the smog check and even though he knew that I had a one week old baby in the back of the car he walked away from the Computer to go talk with another customer for an extended period of time. Let it be known that this customer had driven up after me and certainly had not come before me. I could tell from the computer that the smog check had been done for quite a while and he was just ignoring us while again I had a one week old baby in a non-air-conditioned car. I implored him to please hurry up and finish the check to which he ignored me. I then told him I was going to help him finish the check by completing the transaction the computer at which time he became very angry and rude. He refused to complete the smog check. I then asked him to speak to the manager and his reply was that he was the manager. I then asked if you would just please complete the transaction as the smog check was actually done and all I needed was him to print the receipt, and he refused. After multiple requests to just please finish the transaction as it was already done, he repeatedly refused. If this is the customer service experience that even the manager is offering, I will not return here for any work, any car wash, any smog check, any gas. My next step is to report them to the Better Business Bureau. I certainly would not recommend you get any work done here. read more

I'll start by saying there is zero motivation to do actual work here by the employees (lots of standing and talking not much work) and no customer service skills (making the customer happy is not a priority) present, hope the owner reads this as it seems local management could care less. Opted for $25 option, outside front had to rewash, bugs still attached to car? Rear of car under the license plate missing wax, kids helping could care less. Anyone who has cleaned a car knows how important it is to have a consistent wax coat (otherwise one section of paint fades way faster than the other. Came back to cracked windshield, supposed manager fresh out of high school said it just happens, weird I've been driving in Reno longer than this kid has been alive, never had a cracked windshield just happen at a car wash. Interior surface vacuumed great except all nooks, cracks, and crevices had dirt in them very disappointing. Wipe down was done on center console and dash, no doors or frames had been wiped. This was the worst car wash service I ever been to. What I'm upset about the most was that I don't think they used soft bristles and my new car had minor scratches once I got out. It wasn't even fully dry when I got out and even when people were outside, towels on hand and saw that my windows were still wet and told me that hand drying was not part of the service. I asked what did the $11 even included. I should've read the reviews before coming in here. Now I have to figure out how to get these scratches off my car. Don't go here. read more

this place sucks!! as of the people that work there. the manager, if that's what the youngster they pointed me to really is, is a douchebag!! I have a full size truck, and I took it there once before and was less than happy with what they did. this time I told them I want all the dirt n bugs washed off the front and windshield, and clean the interior. I was first one in today, and got less than and more than I asked for. in addition to the pictures, there was still dirt n bugs on my windshield, side mirrors and rear bumper. I noticed the scratch in the dash when i got in the truck and I was WTF??!!!!! the manager didn't even apologize, saying there was no way his guys did it, I was "dude, it wasn't there when I gave you the keys". no apology, didn't try to comp the wash, but 'offered' to rewipe the outside of the truck again, but with an attitude like he was doing me a big favor. and i discovered new scratched in my rear fender paint that wasn't there this morning. they may do a good job on cars, but they suck when it comes to trucks. do your self a favor and stay away from this place read more

Vacuum : 3 /5 Wash: 3/5 Dry: 3/5 Inside 1/5 ....only front window cleaned, dash: half assed Door panels: nope Center console: piss poor While there were 5 kids were working on the drying side of the bldg. Only 1 was working while the other 4 stood there talking . If I was a manager, I would correct this behavior. In the end, get what you pay for and go elsewhere. Don't waste your time or money. The drive thru on South Meadows would have done a better job. The $30 Tahoe wash left us with bugs, dirt, and spills still intact. I wish we had inspected the car prior to giving the tip. If we had time to have it done over we would have. We had the car washed while we had breakfast at Napa Sonoma - trying to kill two birds. After reading the previous comments, it all starts to make sense. These people are rude. I will not be going back, and I live right down the street. I bought a pack of smokes and gave the description, and the cashier gave me the wrong ones. I went back and traded them for the right pack, and the cashier only said 'they are the same price', like it doesn't matter. No apology, nothing. The old guy is probably the owner, and is demonstrably big with the men he knows when they come in, but not with anyone else. The Asian lady that works there tries really hard not to talk to you at all, and she usually succeeds. There is a good market across the street from Burger King on Patriot. The owners are friendly.
