I was disappointed as I waited 20 minutes and then pulled into the bay and needed an inspection and oil change. They then said they couldn't do the inspection and had waited so I just did the oil change. I told them I had a Military discount. He didn't take off the discount and after he rang it up , I asked him again and said they couldn't do it now, since they rang it up already. Also had to beg for a sticker for windshield. I took my car to this location 4 days ago, when I arrived there were teenagers doing work on cars, joking around, and playing. I had to ask them to stop playing twice while they were working on my car. In retrospect I should have just left. I then drove my car to Temple and someone pointed out my skid plate was falling off below my car. When I went to a local Valvoline in Temple, they stated that my skid plate was placed back on with only one clip after my recent oil change. They also noticed oil spillage on the cover. I called this location for an explanation on why they didn't put my car parts back on properly and they refused to take responsibility for the shotty work they did. (They tried to claim that my skid plate was damaged which is why they didn't put it back on all the way.) I took pictures of it on the tow and it was not damaged at all, they just didn't put the clips back in. 3 days later my car stops dead in the middle of the road with low oil pressure, check engine light, and I had to pay $200 for a tow. I have a 2023 Outlander and have never had issues with my suv. I called the shop again to get assistance and have them fix the problem, the manager laughed about it and told me they were closing so he had to get off the phone and couldn't help me. He stated he was over customer care and that if I had issues with him I could call his boss because he wasn't going to deal with it and didn't think it was his problem. We took pictures of the under carriage when they lifted my car to be towed, the drain plug was not placed in all the way, and my engine locked up due to this, they're refusing to fix the issue. read more

Had an oil change on my 2022 Toyota Tacoma. The customer service was very thorough and meticulous. I've never been to an oil change center where they took pictures of everything and uploaded them. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the employees. They were aware of all of Toyotas recommendations and requirements for a particular model and mileage. Great job. read more

If I were just going in for an oil change, then fine, but I needed an inspection as well. Went through the motions as advised by the employee and paid the bill. When attempting to register my vehicle, guess what, no inspection on file. Call up Valvoline and find out that they forgot to perform the emissions test. Great! That means I have to go to another place for a complete inspection. Waste of time! Once again, oil change was fine, quality of whole experience was not. I was preparing to go on a long drive to Colorado to visit my daughter and son-in-law and I really needed to get my oil changed before I left. I had setup an appointment with Firestone on Galloway, in Mesquite, and that turned out to be a HUGE mistake because they failed to actually schedule my appointment and when I got there, I was told that my appointment hadn't been confirmed. Which meant they failed to confirm it and therefore it wasn't scheduled and they didn't have time to do it. Fortunately, I called Valvoline and Mariah told that they didn't have the oil filter for my 2021 Hyundai Palisade but if I brought my own filter, they would be to do the oil change. Thanks to her quick thinking, I was able to purchase a filter from the dealership and Valvoline was able to change my oil before my trip. Went in for a normal Oil Change. There two plugs under the car. The mechanic didn't know which plug was for the oil. Instead of asking, or simply googling, he took a guess. Well he guessed wrong and drained my transmission fluid. It's a European car so it takes a special fluid that they did not have. Sat there for an hour and a half while they tried to find the fluid. I've been a customer here for over three years. I was disappointed today. It was timely and I did get my oil changed by a friendly young man. I sat in my truck and watched what was being done. On my receipt it showed that wiper bladed were checked, interior vacuumed, and tire pressure checked and recorded. My current mileage was also not checked. Highly recommend, I called at 3pm arrived by 3:15 and by 4:15 all the tires were changed and the alignment was complete. They gave me a printout of how vehicles alignment was before they aligned it, I found this very helpful information. All staff are knowledgeable and kind. Came her for an oil change. The guy who was checking people in, doing the "paperwork", etc, was less than friendly. Not off to a great start. Had to wait a bit before it was my turn, but that seemed fairly normal for a Saturday afternoon. The lady who changed my oil seemed friendly, but she didn't really have a need to interact with me much. The most interesting part of the visit was when I was told I couldn't use the deal I got for checking in on Yelp because it didn't have a code on it. I had saved some coupons from their website before I came in, so I just used one of those. However, if a business is going to offer discounts through Yelp, they should probably teach their employees how to redeem them. Overall, not a terrible experience. I looked up this store because we were nearby in Rockwall. I called and asked about getting my oil done and tires rotated. They asked me what kind of car (F150) I have and told me they could do both. I got to the store and pulled up and this young lady, blonde, waved me over to another stall. I moved over a stall and got out to tell them what I needed and that I had called. She told me that I hadn't called there and that I called corporate. She told me they couldn't do a tire rotation and that they could even change the tires on the van they had in there.... I told her what I was told on the phone and while I was talking , someone else from Valvoline told her some thing. She just walked away from me and my wife in the middle of our conversation. Ok I normally don't rate places this low but this place is a rip off.. So first off my wife took her car in to get a oil change and they charged her like $90 but during the process the Manager starts complaining to the tech on why he had not pulled out the air filters and tried to get her to replace them. The tech said they are pretty new..So this clown gets in her car and opens the gloves box and pulls out a air filter with little dirt on it_It was 3 months old) telling her look at this dirt this is what your breathing and holds it up to her..She got super nervous and said sure to replace it but when she asked if she could have to show me. He said Oh already threw it away. Also they told her she needs to rotate her tires but didn't balance them? So of course I had to take it today to discount tire to get them balanced because you dont rotate tires and not balance them. They said whoever did it, didn't fully drain the oil during oil change, yet they didn't go beyond apologizing for the unprofessional job of overfilling the oil. There's no way this happens unless it's done on purpose. When I heard some strange noise coming out of the engine, l opened the hood and found out they left the air filter compartment unclipped. Apparently, it wasn't air tight, sucking air from outside. I had to do it all over again. Since I took this as an unwelcome gesture(for reasons I don't know), they could have told me in my face instead of trying to damage my car in what looks like a petty criminal behaviour. read more

SURPRISE! IT COST MORE THEN WE SAID. I hate when i buy a groupon or use a coupon that states the cost of a service.....then when your car is serviced, they find a way to charge more. They need just a bit more profit--and its coming out of your wallet. We used a coupon for a $59 full-syn oil change ($10 more than wally-world...btw), and then they added on a "premium filter" for a Toyota Corolla. Not a Porsche or Mercedes......a Corolla. Seems it takes a tiny bit "more time" to install a particular Corolla filter according to Customer Services member. I call BS in this up-sell business model. If they struggle to with labor timing on an incredibly common Toyota, they should raise prices across the board and stop the false advertising. It's not the extra money--it's the principle. Avoid the scam. People that work there are likely really good people. It's the corporate profit policy scams that stink. read more

I will start off by saying when I was there the guy helping me at my window, Tim I believe was great! But I will NEVER use this place again nor would I recommend it to my worst enemy. I got the oil changed in my diesel on Saturday. Come home park it in my nice clean driveway. Monday morning leave to take me kid to school. Nothing under the truck on my walk to the truck. Get home and I can see where oil had dripped from where I know us the oil filter. My truck has 32,000 miles so I know it doesn't leak a drop. I call and the lady says bring it up and let them look at it. The guy says that they didn't clean it. Hmmmm it dropped 0 from Saturday until Monday which was the first time I started it after parking. But my oil leak is because they didn't clean it?!? That's fine. Just tighten whatever you left loose so I can go. Come home park beside the house. Wait and go start it. No leaks. Except now I have these oil spots in my driveway that weren't there before someone didn't do their job. They tell me use dawn soap...LOL that did exactly what I knew it would...NOTHING!
