It was my first time getting an oil change at Valvoline and don't think I'll go anywhere else after. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism. Headlight/blinker, tire pressure, and air filter checks, even asked to check cabin filter which was nice. Ran double and triple checks of everything. Even proved oil levels were full by showing dipstick at the end. Took slightly longer than average and okay price points, but will definitely be back for this quality of service. read more

A nice crew with nice service. They were able to get my oil change with ease and accepted a coupon that I found online. They are decently priced and they checked my fluids and filled my tires for free. They did not try to sell me anything I didn't need and recommended me to change my blinker lights and get a mechanic to check my steering column since I asked them about a clicking sound when turning my steering wheel. They are very knowledgeable and conversed with me while working my car. read more

Went in for a oil change. All of a sudden my engine is running hot the next day try to call for reimbursement. All they want to do is talk in circles claiming that they have nothing to do with it. I suggest you find somewhere else for oil change not this place. read more

I appreciated this visit for a number of reasons....for starters, the day I went was fully run by an all female crew. Amazing to see women in this field. Thank you Valvoline for giving women an equal opportunity in a predominately male job. The second thing that impressed me was the amount of information they knew about my car, things I already knew were wrong or needed attention but were addressed during my visit. I can appreciate someone who knows their job well.... Last but not least, I got a free car wash after my oil change, something I wasn't expecting but could definitely appreciate after driving from Georgia to Salisbury. Was recommended a transmission flush bc of mileage on my pickup, got the service performed. 6 months later my pickup has to be put into a mechanics shop bc Valvoline thinks you can exchange fluids in a car without changing the filter to said fluid. Simply asked for a refund bc I had to pay for a 2nd transmission flush & get the filter replaced. Only to have them say they aren't responsible for refunding money & providing a service that doesn't do it's intended to do. Do not bring your vehicles here!! Quick, Fast, Friendly, and most importantly...transparent. By that I mean that they show you what they're doing. Unlike some other places I've been to, they pull the air filters out while you are watching and show you the condition. None of that "pull out a really dirty one and con the customer into buying one" crap. Even better is the fact that they don't pressure you into getting something done if you can't. The first thing they pulled out was the cabin air filter. Yes it needs it, but I didn't really have the money for it. I knew that the engine air filter was in need of changing and since one is important for the engine and the other is important for comfort, I said I'd do the engine one and save the cabin for the next oil change. They accepted that and even approved of my reasoning and the desire to stretch out the expense. They understand that if they let the customer know what is needed and let the customer decide how they can do what is needed to the best of their budget...they'll get the customer back. The price is a bit higher than other places I've been to, but I've noticed that those places are a little slip-shod and tend to REALLY pressure you into things you may or may not need. I was in and out in 15 minutes. I'm willing to pay a little more for that level of quick and thorough service. I am a fan and I will be back with my other two cars. read more

If you want a quick oil change and other car care then this place is the answer. Their staff are knowledgeable, polite and courteous. There are no pressure sales pitch but they will give their suggestions and recommendations. The only let down for this place is that they don't have a waiting area and a little bit pricey. read more

These guys are very friendly and they know their stuff. They won't try to haggle you. They put your vehicle's VIN number on their computer and it shows what service your vehicle needs. They'll offer to perform the service, but it's still your choice whether you want it serviced at that time or not. They definitely earned another returning customer. read more

MONEY TRAP - BEWARE!! I went in with a company fleet card for a simple oil change. Nick somehow found 300 dollars worth of maintenance and initially tried to authorize it with phh without even telling me. He then proceeded to lie through his teeth when I called him on it. Well Joe P when a fleet management comes into our store we must call the fleet management that the truck is under. Any recommendations that come through our computer, we must call them to see if it's either been done some where else possibly or if the company would like there truck serviced while it's at the store. This is a policy to insure employees job security and a customers safety after they leave. If you leave and we don't talk about a recommendation and something happens equals liability. read more
