I just waited 45 minutes to get into the Savage Valvoline service bay. I told them that I wanted a conventional oil change. They informed me that they did not have any conventional 5W20 oil. I told them that I would then take 5W30 oil, they told me they did not have that grade either, but that I could get synthetic oil for double the price - they should have substituted the Synthetic for the same price as conventional! How can an oil change station not have conventional oil??? I have never had this problem at other oil change facilities and will never go to another Valvoline Oil Change again!! read more

Had my oil change on 12/21/24. Never have I been here and Never will again. On 1/3/25 my car started to run rough. After coming out of a store I noticed a spot under my car. I backed up enough to see what it was. A fresh oil spot about the size of a round cake pan. I checked the oil stick-Bone Dry! Went next door & picked up 3 quarts of oil so I could get home to have my regular mechanic look at it. He found that the oil filter was put on so tight that the O-Ring was pinched and may have damaged the threads on the case for the oil filter. Now I need to order the O-Ring & perhaps the filter case because they're not a stock item for a foreign car. I don't dare bring it back for more damage to my car. Expensive oil changes and repair. Wish I had read the reviews before going there. If I could rate a zero I would! read more

I've been to this place for my oil changes over the years. I've had my latest car there 2 or 3 times before. I went there last week and after already waiting 15 minutes to be the next in line, one of the workers came out and said his assistant manager told him that they couldn't do my oil change. They said they didn't have the oil on hand and that my car was too low to the ground. I told them you don't even know what kind of oil I want since I was planning on going from a synthetic blend to full synthetic this time and that I've had this car there before without any problems. He went and double checked with the assistant manager and came immediately right back out and now said they don't have the oil filter on hand. Look, if you want to be lazy and not do your job, just say that. No need to lie about not wanting to work on my car. I wish I could pick and choose what I do at my job. Won't be back to any Valvoline now. Too many other oil change places to give my money to. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Instant oil change my A**!!! I waited two hours before even being seen while they continued to service 3-4 cars that arrived AFTER me in other bays after being directed to stay in the middle bay. Do not waste your valuable time, you're better off at the competition. read more

Took over an hour to even get into the bay and they continue to take over 45 to get my oil changed. They also agued between each other on how to do part of the service in the Bay Area. Ruben one of the employees was throwing his drink around in front of my trunk while my hood was open. Very unprofessional and upsetting. I told jesse I just got my tires done and didn't need them filled or checked. He continued to deflate my tires to a lower PSI and argued with me on what my tires should be at. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Slowest Valvoline on the planet earth. Waited over an hour for one car in front of me to be serviced and I was still second in line. Random employees walking back and forth to Kwik trip getting loads of food, then standing around customers cars in the bay with their arms crossed. I ended up leaving once I hit the hour-thirty mark since I had to go to work. I've been here once before and it was the same song and dance. Do not go here!!! Not only are they extremely slow, they have terrible technicians and EVEN WORSE MANAGEMENT!! I went there with receipts that proved they provided a faulty oil change, and they wouldn't help me out. I was very patient and polite about the entire situation because I believed they were taking care of it. After I waited about a week and a half I stopped in. I mentioned to the other "manager"... what was going on. He comes back asking, "What do you even want?". How professional. I want a refund for your terrible service and fixes I had to have done because of it. I have tried everything except small claims court, and still nothing... I go to these guys for all of my basic stuff when I don't have the time to do it myself but every time I come in (I regularly have different cars due to buying and selling privately.) They never seem to have any air filters in stock, or other easy things to get done. Plus I've had multiple guys tell me they found something or something extra can be done and I'll say sure give her the full go and then over half of the time they come back and tell me they don't have this or they don't have that. If you're telling me it can be done or should be done then you should be able to do it when I say yeah let's do it. I personally spend quite a bit of money here, but they are loosing out on other purchases and people are loosing out on having their cars fully done because you don't have things in stock to do the job. If they had the things in stock I would probably be spending a lot more money here then I am and I would have my cars done up quicker and easier. Might have to start looking at other companies or just do it myself more. read more

worst oil change service I've ever had. was third person in line at 7:55 on a 3 bay building. no ne even got me in until 8:30. people showed up late, pretended to do stretches and made me wait longer. no apology for the wait, no Customer service whatsoever. never going to tell anyone to get their oil changed their. read more

For overall service I would say they are excellent. I was in and out within 12 mins and the 3 who worked on my car were friendly and engaging. I bought this car second hand recently - they said the tires were overinflated to 42psi so they went round and reduced all to 30psi This morning (the next day) I woke up to a flat tire. I went from their place to the store just down the street back home and hit no road hazards along the way. I called them and their response was lax and they refused to take any responsibility or offer to look at the car to see if it was something they might have caused. Very frustrating. read more

They do a good job with the oil change but the guys there on Saturday afternoon were very understaffed. The said two guys didnt show. Was 45 minutes for my oil change because of it. Think management needs to do a better job of staffing. read more

Had my oil changed there and it took over 1.5 hours. They told me they were having problems reattaching the splash guard. A couple of weeks later, I hear the splash guard dragging on the ground. It was attached only in the back with zip ties, nothing in the front. Ruined the splash guard. I drove to the location and was assured they would order a new one and I would get a call. An email and a couple of calls later, it's been over 3 weeks with no reply. I guess I'll have to put in an insurance claim.... Don't go here! read more

These guys are incredible! The manager, Ryan, runs an excellent staff. My car decided to burn through oil one time so I stopped in bc I couldn't get the cap off. He topped off the oil, made sure everything else was full and sent me on my way without charging me a dime! He also made sure I'd be able to access my oil next time, if necessary. Took one hour to start oil change once we were in the bay! Two people working on one other car. Gave us the wrong receipt. As soon as we left the engine light went on. Went back they said nothing was wrong as far as oil change went. Will not ever return. Went to another Valvoline where they discovered that a sensor had been disconnected and the oil filter was crammed in wrong so the oil wasn't even flowing through the filter. Discovered this after putting 300 miles on the car because no one could figure it out! Valvoline in Iowa discovered it. Complained to manager of Savage Valvoline (had pics to prove) and were given a coupon for free oil change. Do not give your business to this place. read more

First time getting my oil changed. Also had my air filter and wipers replaced. They did a great job and work efficiently as best the could considering the circumstances with the computer systems being down. I know exactly what it's like when systems crash and its not a fun experience. The staff was very friendly and cost was reasonable. I'll be back again. Thank you! read more

Friendly staff, speedy service but don't let them rotate your tires!!! They broke one lug nut, which they offered to replace.... But a week later my front right wheel was making a horrible crunching noise so I went to my dealership... My tire was loose!!!!! Cost me $139 for a brake inspection and it wasn't my brakes!!!
