He ordered a new set of security lugs in hopes that the key would work. It did not. The tech had misplaced my original key during the brake inspection. Needless to say, it was a major inconvenience--and I didn't receive so much as an apology from the owner. This was my experience as a first-time customer. She caused a huge scene, and I did my best to 'read' my book, so I wasn't in the conflict. The poor mechanic though, he just politely took it. Even as she left the store, she swiped all the stuff on the Front desk to the floor. I will say the mechanic handled himself professionally and nicely, he even asked if I was okay after even though I wasn't involved, I was just in ear shot. Overall, would I come here again, yes, they have my car records, and it makes things easier, but now that I don't live close it is a little of a hassle to wait in the lounge. They won't try to up-sell you on work that you don't need done, and if they are troubleshooting a problem, then will start small and inexpensively to try to solve the problem before they try more expensive repairs. We had them repair the faulty turn signal switch in our minivan, and when they finished it up and we got it back, the airbag dash light was on all the time. So I called them back, they apologized and checked it out, found they installed a faulty part, and they replaced it and did the labor for free. That's quality and honesty right there! They're a real stand up crew!
