My vehicle abruptly wouldn't start after going to a 10 minute dr appointment. Nothing on the vehicle dashboard indicated an issue with the car. There have been several instances where my car wouldn't start once I stopped at a red light. When I would release the break the auto start would not power the car back on or allow the vehicle to move. I've only had the vehicle less than 2 years after they (Jeep Van Nuys) called me initially after the first month that I was sold the car to come back and give them the car because they sold me a vehicle that the bank didn't approve since the car had several miles on it even though it was presented to me as a "New" car. So they had to exchange it, I had to fill out more paperwork, etc., all for a mistake that they made. It be current replaced vehicle has 20,017 miles on it. When I was able to get roadside assistance under my warranty with the manufacturer the roadside assistance took decades to show up. Then once he showed up he gave me a jump and I drove the vehicle directly to the dealership. Armond specifically told me this inspection and repair should take 24 hours or up to a few days that they would have the vehicle to resolve the issue. He said they would contact me with an update. No one has contacted me, and it's now beyond the time I was told that this issue would have an update or be resolved. So I took the initiative to call after 5 days has passed because a couple days is 2 days, a few days is considered 3 days, and it is beyond the time that I was told my car would be fixed. No one has reached out to me so therefore I called after an hr of constant ringing and attempted calls back to back, someone answers the phone and it was Armond. He had no update whatsoever, not a timeframe, not a estimate, or expectation was set for me as the consumer besides being told falsely my car would be fixed and an update would be provided in a few days. Instead Armond says "they're still looking at it." My car is basically sitting there and I've missed work and very important engagements due to this major inconvenience. He then says he don't know when an update will be provided or when the car will actually start getting worked on. He insists to tell me he set the right expectation with me by providing me with a time of a week or so to get this resolved. However that was untrue as I mentioned previously, he gave me the time frame of 1-3 days. It's been a full work week and no update has been made, they don't seem to care at all. read more

I've had a lease here for 3 years and every time I come the service is just so shitty! I came back to return my lease and the "manager" asked if I'd be buying another car. I said no I just wanted to return my lease and he said he'd be back to help me. Kept me sitting for 20 minutes. Just so you know there's like 2 other customers in this place and like 20 reps just walking around in space. I complained about the wait and it just seems like if you're not buying a car no one wants to help you. Every rep just staring at me sitting for 20 minutes and only come to ask if I'm buying a car, when I say no they walk away. Wont be buying my next car here. read more

This is the second time I've come to this place to try to buy a Jeep. First time was in 2015 when I was looking to buy my Rubicon. It was like pulling teeth to try to get one of the sales people to help. When I was finally able to get someone's attention they told me they don't carry 2 door Wranglers because no one likes them. What!? I then went to Ellis Jeep and Dodge in Glendale. Not only did I find what I was looking for the customer service was outstanding! I drove away with the vehicle I was looking for. Today my wife was looking for Renegade and we were in the area so we decided to give it another try. We found one we were interested in in the showroom. Very unprofessional car dealership. My father received a phone call stating they would buy his car off him. When he told them he stills owes they said not to worry and it will be completely paid off. Long story short car is valued at 21k kbb but they told us they would give him 15.5k which we would still have to pay off 6k and leave empty handed. When asked to speak to manager he returned saying he doesn't need to speak to you and nothing else he can do for us. That he won't speak to us. They want to jerk us in circles and lie (which I know was just to get us to buy a car and turn in his truck) ok fine not ok but whatever... but not even take the time to speak to us?? Initially I was happy with my purchase and my sales person was friendly and helpful. However, only after 3 months, I saw that the car I purchased was not without flaws. The front bumper was apparently repainted assuming that it was scratched from the previous owner, that information was never disclosed to me during purchase.. a month after I took the car I had to go to my first service and the breaks needed to be replaced.. after 2.5 months I took the car in for service, again, because there were clicking (metal on metal) noises from the car. My service adviser told me that something was loose and that the need to tighten it up and it should be fine, after only 3 weeks I had to go in for the same problem and apparently it's actually something more sever that they can't figure out and need to talk to HQ. My car has been sitting there for a week as of right now and it doesn't look like I will be getting it back anytime soon. First and last time I purchased a car from this dealership, the car quality is not good and it is uncertain if everything is disclosed or not during purchase. read more

I am getting them a two Stars because they did a decent job of my rear brakes job which caused over 500.00 still cheaper than LB jeep dealer 60.00 However I decided to write this because after the brake job I couldn't find my new legend watch which I purchased the day before. I put it in my basket behind the seat. I tried to traced back 18 hours of where I could of put it. Thinking I must lost my mind. I even asked my husband did he saw the red box where the watch was. Bought a Durango in August 14-20 ish experience with my sales guy was great Bindy. A couple days I decided to cancel the extended warranty and they said you should expect your warranty return check in 40 days or so. Its now pretty much October 1st and nothing yet I did call the Warranty company and they said they had wired back the money back to them since its not a physical check this was on 9/10. Each time I call I get a voicemail and I never get a call back with the situation. This is the 6th time we come to buy cars here either for us or family but this will be the last time, We ever recommend or even shop at this place. read more

So I'm light of my original negative Yelp review, I was contacted by the new general manager Raeb. He was very concerned about the run around I was lead on and offered to help personally. So after a few emails I was put in touch with his personal assistant Maggie. They asked that I bring my Jeep in so they could replace the hitch cover. They gave me a loaner at no cost for the 5 days my vehicle was there and they did something very unexpected. They offered to make 1 car payment for me as a way to apologize for their original blunder. Maggie was great. She responded immediately to all my calls and messages. If it were just Maggie I was rating, I'd go 5 stars. Unfortunately it's the idiots that work there that keep me at a generous 3 stars. Maggie told them to have my car cleaned and gassed up upon my arrival. Of course the interior was exactly how I left it (post mountain bike vacation in mammoth). You'd think they'd clean it up in lieu of "caring" for a distraught customer. I had to ask Maggie about the gas as well. I filled the loaner with a full tank. She immediately sent the tech to fill up my car while I stood there waiting. I'm not being petty. If you're trying to rectify a situation, don't do it half ass. Don't handcuff the person that is trying desperately to fix things. Maggie you really did a good job. Thank you for the car payment as well. I really wish I could give a better rating. I've been dealing with Andrea who was super patient and friendly, she helped me terminate my VW lease and got me out of my remaining payments and put me in the Grand Cherokee in a very efficient way. Honestly I never take the time to write reviews but this is worth my time in order to prevent anyone else from wasting their time. First the guy asks me how he can help me and I say well I'd like to shop for jeeps. He then stares at me with a blank stare until finally telling me to wait by the chairs. So many salesman and workers were talking amongst each other doing absolutely nothing and had me waiting forever. So I walked out. I'm a gym owner so I came in dressed down in athletic clothes. I have to wonder if I dressed in expensive clothes if they would've taken me more serious. You never know who has their mindset on walking out with a car. You just lost a customer. Very bad service! I came all the way from Riverside because they ran my credit over the phone/online and they said they can get me approved. I had money down and I had told them I don't want to go over there if it isn't a for sure thing and they said "yes come on in, we can get it done for you" so I drove over an hour away because I thought we had a deal, just because they had all my information over the phone and they ran my credit and still assured me that they would get a deal done for me. Got there and it was havoc. They started trying to put other people in the deal and getting co signers. I understand if you tell me that they can't do anything for me but don't lie and tell me yes, make me drive an hour away and then say you can't do anything for me. Very bad service. Some of the more unprofessional businesses I've ever came across. I get that salesmen try to sell and tell you nice things to get you in but I literally told them I live over an hour away so I don't want to go and then not get it done. They literally lied and did exactly that. HORRIBLE DEALER. Makes me not want a Dodge ever. read more

Why are many car dealers viewed as being one level above slime? Russell Westbrook Jeep in Van Nuys is a good example. They wouldn't give me information over the phone about a new jeep that seem attractively priced. Something simple like did the price include the $1500 "destination charge" or was that extra? After wasting time to go there in person, I was told that the price was good BUT you had to buy $4500 of options that I didn't want.. like nitrogen in the tires!!! They also said that the manufacturer's incentive of several thousand dollars didn't apply if the car was bought for cash, only if it was financed (after four months, they said you could pay off the financing). Again, I didn't see that in the fine print either. A total waste of time. Sad that salespeople need a job badly enough to prostitute themselves like this... read more

The customer service in the Service Department is the worst!!. My truck has had a recall for the taillights. Received a call to take truck in for repair on recall. I also advised them that a seal is broken by the windshield since I bought vehicle. I also advised them that I already had taken it 2-3 times. I always get a time estimate over phone of a couple of hours. I've taken the day off to get service completed. Once at the dealer I was told it would take 4 weeks for seal and 2 days for taillight. I told technician I was advised wrongly about time estimate two times already and I had dropped off my truck a few months back for seal and nothing was done to it. Technician said "sorry we are backed up, nothing I can do" I asked for a loaner car since all works is factory defect. I was told I had to pay for a rental car from them and then get reimburse if it qualifies for the reimbursement. Left the dealer extremely upset but not to cause a scene just walked away. Once I cooled off I called service department and asked to speak to Service manager. I told the receptionist the entire story and specifically told her that I've had left several voicemails with Service managers and no one had called me back. She placed me on hold and transfer me to Service manager who did not answer. Left another voicemail. No call back!!!! and it has been over a month. This is not the first bad review this company's service department has gotten. Somehow they find a way to blame the customer in all the reviews. I've never left a bad review or done anything like this but perhaps now I can get my truck fixed in a timely manner since I'm still paying for it!! But if I was to miss a payment they would be quick to call me to collect on a broken truck! read more

Just purchased a 2019 Jeep Wrangler from the Internet Sales team at RWCD. Such an amazing experience from start to finish. They were very attentive to all my needs and worked hard to accommodate all my demands. At no point did it feel like the traditional 'teeth pulling' experience that is often associated with buying a car. I even got to play basketball while they contacted the bank on my behalf.
