It's very clear that management at this dealership only care about this survey and getting all tens (even if undeserved), as my service person asked that I would give them all tens.... and then the car broke down again almost immediately. I took the car to the dealership I got it from instead of Westbrook, and they enlightened me and showed me that Westbrook didnt even do the work they said they did. We needed our 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee serviced, and we didn't want to go to the dealership from where we bought it from. That's a whole the other review, but we had a terrible experience and I wanted to start a new relationship with a new Jeep dealer. We brought in our Jeep for an oil change, tire rotation, and a few other small items we wanted looked at. We were checked in within 15 minutes, they listened to all my issues I wanted addressed (big and small), and set us up in a rental/loaner car. We were going back and forth about when to bring the Jeep in, and Ken, the service manager, was very helpful throughout my back and forth with questions and appointment setting. I wanted to make sure we would have a rental so we weren't without a car, needed to know if our issues would be covered under warranty, and needed to know this would all be completed promptly. Ken reassured me on everything, and when it came down to it, everything we wanted to be fixed or repaired was! The only thing is that our front driver's side seat is still making an annoying squeaking sound. We were very impressed with the communication the service technician had with us as well. He called to update us when the Jeep would take longer than expected, which we appreciated. I am happy to say that I found our new home for all of our Jeep needs! Just purchased a new Grand Cherokee from Erick Cardenas. Super friendly staff, comfortable negotiations. Sales Manager (Al Kutakh) and GM (Eric Van Ace) made the entire process great! And Finance Mgr (Gloria Chan) explained all the details concisely, making sure I understood my obligations. She also was very patient answering my questions...no heavy pressure to buy additional services/coverages; just clearly explained my options. This type of service is what I expected when I traveled from San Diego to Van Nuys! The added attention and their commitment to QUALITY service makes the difference and made the travel ABSOLUTELY worth it! I would recommend them to my family although I like Al too much to make him suffer with my mom. read more

Very bad service! I came all the way from Riverside because they ran my credit over the phone/online and they said they can get me approved. I had money down and I had told them I don't want to go over there if it isn't a for sure thing and they said "yes come on in, we can get it done for you" so I drove over an hour away because I thought we had a deal, just because they had all my information over the phone and they ran my credit and still assured me that they would get a deal done for me. Got there and it was havoc. They started trying to put other people in the deal and getting co signers. I understand if you tell me that they can't do anything for me but don't lie and tell me yes, make me drive an hour away and then say you can't do anything for me. Very bad service. Some of the more unprofessional businesses I've ever came across. I get that salesmen try to sell and tell you nice things to get you in but I literally told them I live over an hour away so I don't want to go and then not get it done. Why are many car dealers viewed as being one level above slime? Russell Westbrook Jeep in Van Nuys is a good example. They wouldn't give me information over the phone about a new jeep that seem attractively priced. Something simple like did the price include the $1500 "destination charge" or was that extra? After wasting time to go there in person, I was told that the price was good BUT you had to buy $4500 of options that I didn't want.. like nitrogen in the tires!!! They also said that the manufacturer's incentive of several thousand dollars didn't apply if the car was bought for cash, only if it was financed (after four months, they said you could pay off the financing). Again, I didn't see that in the fine print either. A total waste of time. Sad that salespeople need a job badly enough to prostitute themselves like this... read more

I am still a proud Dodge Ram owner. First truck was bought in 2005, fast forward to 2019 with 211,000 miles and still going it's time to retire the 05er. I came to Russell Westbrook Dodge with a truck in mind but wasn't getting excited because I know how it goes. I spoke to Vianne over the phone and scheduled a time to come in and take a look at some trucks. Let me tell you Vianne is amazing and makes you feel comfortable and welcome from get go and she wants what's best for you and wants to get you what you want. I will absolutely vouch that she is a A+ sales person who doesnt give off that vibe. I will recommend to all my friends to come to this dealership and speak to Vianne. I had a great experience at Russel Westbrook. I had been to 3 dealerships prior and no one was able to meet us where we wanted to be and the customer service was always lacking. Before coming in I texted with a woman named Hazel and she was able to give me rough numbers on payments for the car I was looking at. Once I got there salesperson Michael helped us out. Although the wait time for the back and forth with the manager was super drawn out, he kept us updated on the next step and where we were at in the process. I believe our manager was named Rodrigo. He ultimately got me the payment I wanted and we were happy to be able to make a deal. Kevin in the financial department put the cherry on top of our experience. It was then 9:30pm in a Saturday night. We were tired and ready to go but even though he was there since 9am- he was in great spirits, made us laugh, explained the process thoroughly and got us out of there as quick as possible. I also traded in my previous car and accidentally left something in the car- Michael was happy to ship it over to me since I live over an hour away. Just purchased a 2019 Jeep Wrangler from the Internet Sales team at RWCD. Such an amazing experience from start to finish. They were very attentive to all my needs and worked hard to accommodate all my demands. Went to buy my daughter a Jeep and was met by this old guy named Bernie. My daughter did her homework and we knew exactly the trim and the price we wanted. The very Basic Jeep costs from 25 to 27 K this guy saw an opportunity to stick it to a little girl and father that would pay anything, and started showing me the cheapest model he had A 4 cylinder model for 42k We could not believe the nerve. After this dog and pony show, my daughter showed him the price on the web and he immediately showed us a new bunch cars 6 cylinder models for only 32 k Still playing games, that he knows he lost At this point we did not want to have anything to do with this guy or this dealership. My daughter was furious, and we went to a West Valley jeep instead. This used to be a very respectable place before the new owner took over. But since he is a famous basketball player from out of state, I can see how he is not on top of what his salespeople are doing and how they are ruining a good business and good name. read more

I came in here one day for a quick oil change (they offer express oil and lube service). after waiting for fifteen minutes for anyone to acknowledge my existence, i left. That was about a year ago. Then about six months ago, I tried again. Trying to avoid the same problem i made with Russell Westbrook's "express" oil and lube service i made a service appointment and came in at my appointment time. Good news! i'm first in line in the service advisor area AND I have an appointment. after the first fifteen minutes went by I asked one of the service advisors, who had been working very diligently to avoid all eye contact, if someone could help me and they said someone will be with me in a minute. Twenty minutes later, nothing. No one. Nada. Zilch. I saw that the service manager was sitting in his office. So i walked into the service manager's office and told him, i had an appointment at 10:30 a.m. and it's 11:10 a.m. and no one has helped me. At this point there were four more people standing in line behind me also wondering wth was happening. He seemed confused despite the fact he walked passed me at least four times while i was standing in line and said he would get someone to help me. I said no thanks and left. Including traveling time, time to schedule an appointment, waiting in line on both visits, i wasted at least four hours of my life. what i meant to say is Russel Westbrook CDJ, wasted four hours of my life that i'll never get back. All I needed was to transfer my loan to my own credit union...SHADI said no problem but here we are almost two weeks later and nothing emailed or faxed. NO CALLS RETURNED!!! What started out as disappointment, turned into pure joy. Went with a game plan to purchase a Jeep, found out once we arrived to our 730pm appointment, the Jeep was SOLD! We initially wanted to bounce and try again another day, but the kids were hopping in and out of other vehicles, it stirred up a little excitement. We saw other Jeeps we like, just couldn't get the price we wanted. So..... then out of a line up of cars there she was... a 9 month old gem, hardly broke in.... didn't even have its 1st oil change. Michael our salesman was AMAZING! He was as excited as we were, I know it's his job, but it felt very genuine. We talked numbers, adjusted a few things and started the paperwork. Once we passed off to Kevin the "FINANCE GURU" everything fell into place. I've purchased a few cars in my lifetime, probably gonna purchase a few more. It was nice to be at a place that was engaging and willing to go the extra step to get the job done. Plus have a little 1/4 court for the kids to shoot some hoop didn't hurt either. My wife and I had a good experience buying a car here, thanks to the staff members who helped us through the process. My main Sales Rep was Ricardo Cerezo, and my Finance Specialist was Max Holzer. The sales team was friendly and straightforward with us. Ricardo is a personable guy, the type of salesperson we like, because he seems to genuinely care about our needs and concerns. He let me test drive the car I liked and showed me the features it had. He also let me use his computer to do research on the car. Tom, the sales manager, found a great deal for me on a 2014 (last years model) new Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel. He shaved a lot off the sticker price, and did some impressive calculations for us to help us understand the options we had. Finally, Max, the finance person, was the icing on the cake in this whole car buying adventure. Max brought us to his office and presented us with a writeup of what we had negotiated with the sales team, without any odd changes like inflated APR's that I had dealt with at other dealerships. Max did pitch added protections and extended warranties, as expected, but I didn't feel pressured or cheated. His demeanor and overall approach was very professional and calm, in a way that put us at ease. It was unlike other finance experiences I'd encountered in the past. My wife and brother, who came along with us, were also impressed with him. We narrowed things down to an exclusionary, transferable extended warranty, which I calculated to be a worthwhile protection plan for this particular car. After I signed the contract, Ricardo introduced me to my nice new car. He welcomed us to come back whenever we wanted, even just for coffee (haha, they have a nice coffee machine here). In short, I'm glad I found this place. They made the car buying experience a positive one. read more

I got my lovely Jeep Wrangler from this dealership and I've loved the car ever since; however, the salesman (Luigi) and his associate (Bindi) lied to me about how I had the option to postpone the first lease payment to 45 days instead of 30 days. I could even get the car later but they reassured me that was an option knowing that I could only pay the payment in 45 days not 30. When I received my first payment, I called and complained and they said they will reimburse me for my troubles. That never happened. Now I learned that the satellite radio that came with the car is expiring as well even though they said I would have it for the duration of my lease. I never trust salesman but perhaps they could act more ethical. I am deeply disappointed! read more

Please listen to all the one star reviews and take your business somewhere else. Prices online are deceptive just to get you into their dealership, Bait & Switch at its finest.. I even confirmed the price before via email and made an agreement that the add-ons will be completely taken off, because I am not interested in paying some stupid paint protection or any of the other BS. So I got to the dealership 4 days later and all of the sudden the price went up by $3k and in addition there are around $4.5k in add-ons, $7.5k more than what I was told online...I explained to the sales rep (who was nice) that that's not what I agreed on so he went to get his manager and said my wife and I can wait in the managers office. Without introducing himself he gave us really bad attitude as soon as he stepped into his office and was very rude. He told us that market conditions have changed that's why they increased the price - really? In 4 days? I told them the price offered online was the price I came there for, which he eventually agreed on but he wouldn't take off the addendums even after showing him the email. His response was that we should've came in right away then... like wtf? He didn't explain the add-ons or even considered taking them off, but created a very hostile and uncomfortable atmosphere which took us nowhere. He even made us justify why we think we could get that vehicle for such a low price .. ITS BECAUSE THATS THE PRICE WE F**ING AGREED ON ONLINE. Then he said he could easily sell this car for a higher price... Oh okay that's why the car has been sitting on your lot for over 4 months? "Yea that's because of Covid-19 its different now."...sure. The whole time talking to him he was smiling mischievously into his mask and staring at my wife for whatever reason. July 9th 2018 11am Took my 2015 Jeep Rubicon to service advisor Terry Cordova. My jeep was not running well and had a check engine light on. Dropped off my jeep and two days later Terry told me that the oil pressure is bad and my engine needed to be taken down $1,400.00 labor and no guarantee that his was the problem if this was not the problem then it would cost more. unless it was the transmission that was still under guarantee if not I'm looking at 1,400.00 minimum. This did not sound right I took my jeep to my local mechanic and it turned out to be Camshaft position sensor 1 & 2, an issue with most jeeps with this code when registering short to ground. THIS WAS A WIRE ISSUE and any tech would know this !!! Cost me 100 bucks labor. Attention Service manager this is called robbing your customers.. check your books. last 4 of my vin 3538 and verify yourself. read more

My vehicle abruptly wouldn't start after going to a 10 minute dr appointment. Nothing on the vehicle dashboard indicated an issue with the car. There have been several instances where my car wouldn't start once I stopped at a red light. When I would release the break the auto start would not power the car back on or allow the vehicle to move. I've only had the vehicle less than 2 years after they (Jeep Van Nuys) called me initially after the first month that I was sold the car to come back and give them the car because they sold me a vehicle that the bank didn't approve since the car had several miles on it even though it was presented to me as a "New" car. So they had to exchange it, I had to fill out more paperwork, etc., all for a mistake that they made. It be current replaced vehicle has 20,017 miles on it. When I was able to get roadside assistance under my warranty with the manufacturer the roadside assistance took decades to show up. Then once he showed up he gave me a jump and I drove the vehicle directly to the dealership. Armond specifically told me this inspection and repair should take 24 hours or up to a few days that they would have the vehicle to resolve the issue. He said they would contact me with an update. No one has contacted me, and it's now beyond the time I was told that this issue would have an update or be resolved. So I took the initiative to call after 5 days has passed because a couple days is 2 days, a few days is considered 3 days, and it is beyond the time that I was told my car would be fixed. No one has reached out to me so therefore I called after an hr of constant ringing and attempted calls back to back, someone answers the phone and it was Armond. He had no update whatsoever, not a timeframe, not a estimate, or expectation was set for me as the consumer besides being told falsely my car would be fixed and an update would be provided in a few days. Instead Armond says "they're still looking at it." My car is basically sitting there and I've missed work and very important engagements due to this major inconvenience. He then says he don't know when an update will be provided or when the car will actually start getting worked on. He insists to tell me he set the right expectation with me by providing me with a time of a week or so to get this resolved. However that was untrue as I mentioned previously, he gave me the time frame of 1-3 days. It's been a full work week and no update has been made, they don't seem to care at all. read more

I do not believe the customer service is a reflection of Mr. Westbrook. We purchased a vehicle on Sunday. Noticed that some paperwork was not in the envelope. We have called every day, starting Monday. It's now Friday. I have called more than 6 time today alone. The sales person (Nate) whom helped us has been off everyday. The finance person (Mark) has been off everyday. They both are in today. But have been busy every time we call. We have not received a call back. We spoke to a floor manager named Flor. That was Tuesday. We have heard nothing back from her. Please keep in mind that we have purchased a vehicle from them on Sunday, not even a week. No callback. Attitude when we call and complain about the service. I have been told that they are busy. That's not even close to acceptable. We have still not received a callback. At this point we are reaching out to other Dodge dealerships to help us. This has been truly one of the worst experiences we have endured. When you make a large purchase, normally the store or company is happy and goes outta the way to make sure you know it. Westbrook of Van Nuys is all about the SALE and not the customer. i put my truck in for a small repair, and its been there for a month, and yet nothing has changed. Every week i go and check on it they have a new thing to say. "my guy isnt here to fix it today", or "i am waiting for the part to come on monday" still hasn't come. I even asked for a loner truck because I need a truck for one of my workers. I purchased a vehicle from Russell Westbrook Chrysler Dodge a couple of days ago. I found everything the reviewers said to be true. the bait and switch, the false advertisement, rude people, the psychological torture, everything is true. But with me it went beyond that. I was expecting the bait and switch and was ready for the fight, what I did not expect was to be lied to. After a long fought battle to get the price I wanted and after waiting 3 hours+ to see the finance manager Rodrigo, I walked in with my pre approval letter from Capital one (I have excellent credit) at 4.66% interest. The finance manager Rodrigo kept telling me that Capital One had changed my interest rate to 6.5% and kept steering me towards a different lender that benefited them I'm sure and not me. Several times I asked why, and he came up with a bunch of BS excuses. In the end I relented and went with the other financing. The next morning I called Capital One to find out why they had changed my interest rate and found out they had not changed the interest rate it was still 4.6%. Conclusion, this guy Rodrigo LIED to me !! . I'm indignant at this behavior and at this point, I am pursuing all avenues legal and otherwise to correct this wrong that has been thrust upon me. How dare you LIE to people in this way !!!!! read more

When we got there and asked for her, neither she nor the car were anywhere to be found. There were so few cars on the lot it was easy to check for ourselves.
