I purchased a new Grand Cherokee. This Dealership is extremely chaotic. The first sales person was very rude, even though I had an appointment and I had done my research and went there for a specific car prepared to buy, he was repeating a question so often that it made me change my mind. The question was: "Are you going only to see the car? Or are you going to buy it?". I got annoyed and I told him I was going to buy it but I changed my mind. He didn't apologize, he added: "No problem, just go and never come back again". Unfortunately I didn't catch his name. On my way out another sales person saw this happening and he intervened and offered me to help choose my car. He was very helpful. His name is Hugh Brown. If you want to purchase a car from this dealer better ask for him if you want to be treated well. After choosing the car and agreeing on the price. While signing the docs the next big mishap happened. The signing was done with Elisa Zamora Villarreal. Take your time, read whatever you sign, because she will try to rush you thru signing not even letting you read the docs. The signing is done on a desk, that's a monitor, she will scroll thru the text an not even mention to you when she adds extra products to your purchase. I ended up ordering the KARR security system for $2000, without realizing it. When I got suspicious about the inflated final price, she managed to trick me with complicated figures and calculations. So be careful or just avoid to sign with her. read more

I spent the day Sunday, at a couple of different dealerships looking for a preowned jeep wrangler. I wanted to trade in my Grand Cherokee. Was a a bit frustrated by one dealership and walked away from from their hardball sales tactics. I saw a jeep wrangler on the Van Nuys CDJR website and called them up at 4pm to see if it was still available. Addi told me that yes it was still available and if I wanted to come by he would have it sitting there waiting for me. I live in Oak Park so it not just a hop, skip and a jump to get there. But, I had purchased 2 cars from them in the past and each time it was a good experience. So, I made it in about 40 minutes. The Jeep was there waiting for me. So far, a good start. I did a "walk around' to look it over and one of the salesmen standing nearby gave me a "thumbs up" regarding this car. We took it for a test drive and I could feel this was the car I wanted. The price was right. I say to Addi, "let's make a deal on this car". We get back to the dealership and I get out of the car, the same salesmen as before gives me another "thumbs up" . I smile and nod. On the way into the sales room desk The "thumbs up" guy askes me for the keys so he can park the car. Which I then give to him. Addi and I are now seated at his sales desk and start talking numbers. He gives me a "lowball" appraisal on my trade-in. Which I reject. We start crunching numbers and are getting really close. I want this car. But, I also want to walk away feeling good about it. After about 45 minutes Addi gets up to see if his manager can come up a little bit on the appraisal. Another 20 minutes go by and Addi comes back and explains to me that the "thumbs up" guy I gave the keys to SOLD THE CAR....!!! I was so fkng angry that I had wasted all that time talking numbers and getting really close to signing the paperwork. I wanted to throw the desk through the window. I ask to speak to the manager who then comes by to apologize. He starts showing me other cars on the desktop. But I can't even think straight at this point. He says he will give me the appraisal $$ I was asking for. I leave in a foul mood. The "thumbs up" prick never had the professional courtesy even to tell his colleague that he sold the car from under him. So, Addi calls me the next day to see if I'm interested in leasing or buying a brand new car. I will never buy another car from these shysters.......My next step to to contact Jeep itself and let them know how Van Nuys CDJR represents their brand. read more

Vahe noticed how annoyed I was approached me and asked what's going on, I told him my issue and he figured it out quick sent my JL in and about 2 hours later my jeep was ready to hit the road. I was referred by an off road place can't remember the business name but the dude who referred was named Armin and I'm glad he referred me to this dealership, they told me that's the only dealer who won't treat you like trash because you have a few aftermarket parts on. Special ordered a 4xe and went through these guys. Went to financing where they pulled a fast one on me. First off, went through US Bank and not Chrysler financial (the manufactures bank). I have tier 1 credit, absolutely no reason to not go through them. After waiting 6 months for the car, they were only giving a deal for a 48 month lease and the payments were not even close to what they should have been, even according to Jeep's website. Fast forward a few months, my car was completely totaled in an accident which wasn't my fault. Guess what, since they went through US bank, all the funds that were paid out for the price of my vehicle, go directly to the bank. Over $15k in money that should have come back to me, goes to the bank. I was able to get myself into another 4xe at another nearby dealership. They gave me more miles, went through Chrysler financial, and gave me less payments, for the exact same monthly payment. Moral of the story, this dealership is terrible. We showed up with my wife and daughter with the intention to drive off in a new car only to find out we can't test drive the Grand Cherokee we had our eye on. Are you kidding me? Only reason I am giving this place 2 stars, is because I think I got a decent deal on my truck. And the process was fairly fast. But, this place seems to give false information. I was told during the deal, since I asked a lot of questions, that the oil changes would be free for the entirety of my 3 year lease. Which I just found out by calling that this is not true whatsoever. I have to pay for my oil changes. In addition, I was very clear on not wanting any service/maintenance contracts, yet I just noticed they still added them to my lease contract. There's other smaller discrepancies, but I won't bother mentioning them. Be very careful if you choose this dealership. read more

I have been here many times before Covid 2020. I have had mixed reviews and levels of service ranging from terrible and unprofessional to excellent and to above n beyond. This week I had a factory recall, and set an appointment. I was attended to promptly and told that my car may well be completed earlier than the three days that this recall can take up to. I'm one day the work was done and they even have my jeep a courtesy wash. Both Junior and Hector looked after me and my jeep. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CAR FOR TRADE IN!!! Had to have my car repaired for an issue with my windshield wipers not working. I make an appointment and drop my car off. A couple hours later I assumed the service department would be calling on an update. Instead, the sales department was calling me. "Hey, Matt! We noticed upon repairing your vehicle that your car is a little older. Would you be interested in potentially trading your car in for a new or used car instead?" I was open to the idea, but I love not having a car payment. I recently rebuilt the engine for $4,000 a few months before this, and I told the sales department of this fact as the parts and labor are still very much under warranty. After telling the sales department these facts they do some number crunching and get back to me! THEY OFFERED $1,000 FOR MY CAR!!!!! Even the engine alone is worth $4,000, but they were stupid enough to give me that LOWBALL, SNAKE ASS PRICE! Why is this important?! Well, two months later someone slammed into the back of my car. There was damage done to the trunk and convertible. The car was deemed a total loss. INSURANCE WROTE ME A CHECK FOR $10,300!!!!!! This dealership was fine with giving me $1,000 and jacking up the price on a new or used vehicle to then turn around and sell my old car for $15,000! Very funny how the second I told them this was an absolute bulls*it assessment, I got a call from the service team about 10 minutes after saying my car is ready. SMH. AVOID!!!! I would rather Uber, bike, scooter, walk, or even crawl to work before I would give these crooks a single penny! Buy a car outside of California before dealing with snakes like this! Very poor customer service. I went there to BUY a car, not just look. Stopped in the morning, told them what I wanted. Made an appointment with "Vinny" to come back at 1:30 pm to see the car. I showed up, he did not, waited around 20 minutes, no one attempted to help me. Vinny finally showed up, he said he was sorry he got busy, he would try to find someone else, That took another 15 minutes at least, that person would take me to the lot to look at the cars. He disappeared. I waited another 15 minutes. I finally left, someone followed me out to my car, said the new guy misunderstood, it would take about 1/2 hour to bring the car back. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! Recently purchased a Jeep and had to take it in for service. They told me 3-5 business days to provide an update. After about a week, I decided to call in to see there was any progress and they gave me the run around saying "oh we'll have an advisor call you." Two weeks passed and no one called so I showed up to the dealership to get an update. Then the advisor couldn't give me a definitive answer as to when my Jeep was going to be done. On top of that, they had NO loaner cars to give so I had to pay out of pocket for a rental. It literally took a WHOLE MONTH to get my car back. Then I had to pay a deductible fee of $200 which is ridiculous knowing that my car is covered under warranty. Customer service is a zero because they did not care that I was out a car for whole month nor did they follow-up regarding the progress on my Jeep. How do you accept cars for service, but have no loaner cars? Ridiculous! read more

I brought my jeep wrangler in for a bad shake the car was doing and was told I needed a tire balance. A couple days later the care was still doing the shake while driving on the freeway so I brought it back I was then told it was a "death shake" and I needed to leave the car the dealership for 3 weeks until the part arrived. I then asked for a courtesy vehicle and they said they didn't have any available but that I can take the car home even though it is clearly not safe to drive. To makes matters worst I explained to them that I had a death in my family and they did not want to even offer a rental car at their expense. Clearly the car is defected and this dealership is selling these cars knowing they are not safe to drive. Took my wrangler here to have some diagnostics and battery replacement. They did the work but it took 2 weeks. Ok understandable. It's not a luxury car dealership so they won't wash your car after they fix it. Ok fine understandable, that's a luxury feature. But at least don't leave my car dirtier than when I brought it in. After I picked up the car and got home my hands were literally stained black from the steering wheel from whatever the hell the mechanic did. At the very least protect the interior! The steering wheel was so dirty, that it literally felt like there was actual dirt rubbed on it. I can't even imagine the dirt he left on my seat that's not directly visible because of the dark seats. Have to have it detailed now just so I don't stain my clothes when I drive it. 1 star only because of the lack of care for protecting the cleanliness of the interior. I will add a positive note... Took my car for an oil change... simple.... Oil change, car wash and tire rotation.... Guy was nice but when I picked it up... said only the oil change was done because I didn't leave my wheel lock key there (never called to ask, it WAS in the vehicle) then made a whole story how the car couldn't be washed because the car wash was down no cars got washed and the car was washed... nice surprise but makes you wonder about integrity. We bought two Jeep Cherokees recently at this dealership. One of them has had multiple faults since day one. What has been so frustrating is the customer service. As good customers, we should have been treated a lot better than we have. They seem to put up a lot of obstacles to helping us. We know it's not a Rolls Royce, but it is an expensive car and brand new and they should be doing everything they can to resolve our issues. We certainly will not be buying from here again. We got Raffi who was AWESOME! No add ons. Made the deal on the phone, came in and he was totally on the up and up. Do yourself a favor and go to one of the many other Chrysler dealerships in the city. They care about you when you're purchasing the vehicle but if you have any issues afterwards, there's no one to talk to. We purchased a brand new vehicle with 20 miles on it and within 48 hours the check engine light came on. And there was absolutely no priority to help us get into a new vehicle or to get our vehicle fixed any sooner than six weeks. Instead of diagnosing your car and then setting up an appointment to bring it back later. They insist that you leave your car there for six weeks. Apparently the man who works on hybrids comes down from the heavens, especially fix everybody's vehicle. And your car needs to be just hanging out for the right moment he feels inspired. And you're lucky if he can embrace you with his services at some random point in 6 weeks We went and picked up our car out of service and took it to Glendale. Much better experience. read more

Service here is so bad. They're pretty busy because everyone takes their car here for service and whatnot, but keep reading why you should avoid coming here. My my recent visit was an issue I came in for a few months ago and the problem resurfaced. I came in on Monday 9AM for my appointment with my advisor Eddie who wasn't in (not his fault, but clearly someone at the dealerships fault). Someone else helped me and asked if my car would be ready by tomorrow, Tuesday and I was told yes. I told them that it was a previous issue and asked them if they can order the parts for it today and they said okay and someone would call me later today with a status update. I knew this was a lie from the get go and I didn't receive a call from them. Tuesday my advisor wasn't there and the person I spoke to said "my car was being assessed". It's very hard to get in contact with your advisor here and it is extremely terrible customer service. On Wednesday after several patches of trying to get through to my advisor and giving him my information he tells me that my car was being assessed. Seriously?! It's not! Day 4, Thursday I speak Eddie and somehow he remembers me by my voice and no information on my vehicle. Today, my car is being looked at and tells me he's going to text me. I receive his text and he tells me that the parts for my car would be ordered today and my car would be ready tomorrow, Friday after 5 days! Day 5, Friday I make a call late in the morning and of course Eddie isn't there, but you know there's no courtesy to the customer of informing them. I speak to Roger and he tells me my car should be ready today in the afternoon. I make a call around 3:30pm and speak to a customer service person who is going off the information from the computer. I make another call an hour later and after 5 long days after sitting in their lot it's finally finished. When I looked at the paperwork for the time worked on my car; one issue was 30 minutes and the other issue was 30 minutes!!! A total of 1 hour of it being "assessed"!! SO WHY WAS MY CAR WITH THE DEALERSHIP FOR 5 DAYS!!??! Coming here and having to deal with liars is a nightmare. Do not lie to customers and say "you're vehicle is being assessed" when it's not. It is also very difficult to get a hold of someone who is actually helpful too! I couldn't go anywhere for the week because I had no vehicle and none was provided to me by the dealership. There is no point in making an appointment when no work gets done. I understand that they are a busy dealership, but DON'T LIE!! When I came in the first time it took them two/three days to get the issue fixed, also Covid-19 times. After this visit I AM DONE with this place. read more

I recently dropped off my truck so the service people could look at a squeak in my brakes (no pun intended) and a fuel filler issue I was having on my new truck. I was told that I could drop off my truck the night before my 7 AM Monday appointment, so I did. I had to call for 2 days straight before I could get my truck back, I was told the fuel issue was corrected and covered by my warranty, but the issue with my brakes were not covered. I was told they found a mouse in my brakes (hence the squeak pun) and $195 later it was cleaned out (yes $195 to clean out a mouse, or what was left of a mouse). Overall I was not very happy with either the price or the amount of time it took to do the work and next time if it's not covered by warranty I will just take my truck to my regular mechanic, Aloha read more

After my first and last experience here, I can confirm that their low rating is well earned. I own a Jeep that already needs an oil change after 900 miles because it sat on the lot too long. I made a 10 am appointment to have this done, not selecting that I needed a ride since this is an express service. Not only did I have a reservation, this place actually has an express lane. I spoke to the service desk and they told me it'd take "at least" three hours to do an oil change. When I told him I made an appointment, he stated that was just to drop it off (that was never mentioned anywhere). He told me that Jiffy Lube can do it quickly and I should go there. Mind you, Jeep sold me a vehicle that could've had the oil change done already, but instead of fixing their mistake, they want me to go elsewhere and pay for it. I've had nothing but issues with Jeep service centers, and five months into owning my Wrangler, I can't wait until the lease is up. read more

Terrible service through and through. One, we ordered a part that they never called us when they received. We called them and they had us make an appointment to drop off, last Thursday. We called Saturday because we needed a car and ended up having to rent a car over the weekend because they had nothing left and were working on our car still but said they'd reimburse. We rented a car for two days, and called yesterday (Tuesday) to get status. They said car wasn't done and they won't reimburse rentals! What?! Then we called today and learned they haven't even touched our car! Haven't stared anything. Why didn't we just pick up our car to use over the weekend?! Anyway we're finally here today (Wednesday afternoon) to pick up a rental from their fleet - we walk in and NO ONE IS WEARING A MASK PROPERLY. Masks on chins masks on sides of face, no masks at all. Just to update my review, I did in fact email Russell Westbrook CDJR after they reached out through Yelp and to my big surprise they never responded (whaaaat?)! I see that the truck that I initially inquired about months ago, and offered to pay asking for, is still sitting on their lot. Now reduced by $1k. Now that the new 2021s came out this truck is way overpriced. Luckily I went to another CDJR dealership and got the same truck in black with fewer miles for $4k less than Russell Westbrooks asking price (not counting the $4750 they added onto that price).
