My family has owned Chrysler products since the 1930's. I've built Chrysler concept cars (Metalcrafters) and have professionally restored Chrysler cars for almost 40 years. For me, the luxury of having a new car is not having to work on it. With the last two experiences I've had trying to get a simple oil change, I don't think I'll ever buy a new Stallantis product. Trying. In 1500 miles I've made two attempts at two dealerships to have the oil changed on my car. The first place flat out lied. Westbrook CDJR is just ridiculous. I made an appointment for an oil change. Showed up 5 minutes before my appointment time and was told I would have to leave the car for 6 1/2 hours because oil changes are first come/first served. I can see that for a drive-up... but I made an appointment. The service advisor tried to explain that the online appointments aren't really appointments. WHAT? I took the day off to take care of a bunch of post holiday errands, which included the oil change. I figured two hours, tops. They countered the 6 1/2 hour time with 4 1/2 hours after he "spoke to the service manager." As you might expect, he said it smugly, like he was doing me a favor. I left Westbrook, questioning why I was ever loyal to a brand. It's a shame, really. My wife is ready to buy her next new car and wants a Bronco in the worst way. As a "MoPar guy," I've been trying to steer her into a Jeep. I was looking forward to browsing the lot this morning, but I didn't get that chance. Maybe if you stood by your appointment system and took care of a new Westbrook customer (I was loyal to Valley Dodge and Big Valley Dodge before Mr. Westbrook bought the franchise), you would have had a proverbial fish in a barrel. You lost a sale for your dealership... and the manufacturer... due to the crap service you offer. read more

They suck. Spend the day here, took a car home. Next day warranty eliminated. Then they say because I'm paid wire I need stubs, which I don't get. Gave commission statement, no go. 2 days here. They start helping you, then the next thing you look up and they are helping someone else. Or staff walk in and interior with no concern. Horrible... As a realtor, I would never give someone keys to a place. Then the next days claim things change. Work it out before you send a client floating without excitement for no reason. Here we are 4 days later, and I still have not got my down payment returned to my bank account. I have basically lost an entire week because of this place. After they told me I was approved and gave me the key to the car and let me take it home, I returned the rental car that I had. And now my money is being held up. I So, I can't even go look for another car. Nor can I rent another car, because I maxed my card out towards my down payment. And to top it off they have posted my credit score here publicly, and have discriminated against me as a gay man. Told me to "go fuck yourself faggot!" They are going to try to sell you their service plan. At first it seems like a good deal, but here's what they don't tell you. 1) the most frustrating point. It's pros ably not even needed. if you buy a new Jeep, Jeep actually send you coupons for FREE service. I purchased a Tesla Model X.. It looks and drives great, however we never rode in the back seat. When I picked up my Sister yesterday, she noticed a crack in the upper door window (it's on the roof). When we told the dealer, he told us too bad we didn't buy the return insurance. (That window sells for $400.00) The dealer also told me he would make an effort to give me the 2nd key. My family got a chance to deal with Russell Westbrook Chrysler Dodge dealership due to recall issue on my niece's Dodge Dart. As we entered the dealership yesterday, we were immediately greeted by service advisor Mr. Payman. Right on the spot we felt like we were in the right hands. Mr. Payman did make us feel very comfortable and confident, explained the repairs process, was willing immediately to help my teenager niece to connect her iPhone through Bluetooth. The very next day he called, verified completion of repairs, offered a complimentary car wash. We are extremely happy that Mr. Payman became our Service Advisor. It's a real deal to be taken care off by someone like Mr. Payman, once you go through unpleasant process of leaving vehicle somewhere, getting it later. I have bought two new cars from this Dealership in the last eight years the Sales Department is great when it comes to selling you a car. I have never written a yelp review but I would like to warn people about The Service Department and their practices. I have taken my cars there for maintenance visits for eight years, and have always witnessed unhappy customers arguing with the service staff. I guess you don't know until it happens to you?. My 2017 Jeep is still under factory warranty according to my contract it has 22,000 miles and bought it less than five years ago. I started having problems with it. The car would not start called Chrysler Roadside Assistance and they told me the car was still covered by the factory warranty and I could take it to my local Dealer's Service Department to have it repaired. A couple of days later I started receiving texts from the maintenance person in charge of my car. Mr. Armen told me that there was a $220 diagnostic fee that would apply to my bill if I had them do the repairs. A few days later Mr. Armen advised me that my car could not be diagnosed because of my aftermarket alarm system, and it would cost me $480 to have the alarm system removed before the car could be diagnosed. At this point, I realized that I was being conned. Everyone with some car knowledge knows that all you have to do is disconnect the fuse connected to the alarm to bypass the alarm system. I knew this so I had Mr. Armen continue with his scam. We kept going back and forth about the alarm system issue and told him I felt that the problem was the starter. I couldn't help being reminded of a similar situation I had from a used car dealership in Glendale many years ago. The whole experience started off shady, and in my opinion dishonest. I was really frustrated at this point, I really didn't want them to take advantage of me so I told Armen that since the car had not been diagnosed I was not obligated to pay for the $220 fee, and I would look somewhere else. He replied an hour later with the great news that his Shop Foreman was able to bypass the alarm system (Disconnect The Fuse) and found that the problem with the car was the Keyless Entry Module. Since Armen had secured his $220 diagnostic fee his attitude totally changed. Jeep does not cover the part under their factory warranty so I had to pay for it. Armed's attitude became indifferent since he knew that I was already in at least $220. I felt that I was forced to have them do the work. I told Armen to continue with the repair that all I needed was the part that he would replace for my personal viewing which he confirmed that he would hand me. Under the California Automotive Repair Act I was practicing my right not asking for a favor for the part to be given to me. I have all proof on text which will be sent to Better Business Bureau. The car was ready the next day. I ended up paying $600 for two hours of labor plus the part that had to be changed $860 total. I never got the replaced part I requested. I can't help but feel I was deceived and ripped off. I doubt that anything was done but a simple reset to the PCM I will never know since the part they claim they replaced was never given to me which is illegal. Since I got the car back my Tire Pressure Light is on which was not before the car was towed to them. I had a local shop check the tire pressure but the light remains on. I will never give them my business ever again! I have heard many horror stories of Dealer Repair Shops scamming customers, I never thought it would happen to me. I would like to encourage anyone whose car is not covered 100% by their warranty to stay the hell away from this Service Center. They will rip you off! They prey on the fact people think their car's crappy warranty will cover all parts and labor. Bringing your car here is a blank check for them! read more
