I was in the most stressful position, as one one totaled my car that I had just paid off. I came into Jeep really sad about having to get a new car. I was connected with a man named Ali Ali. I told him I wanted a used car because I wanted to avoid a car payment. Instantly, he showed me my options. I'm only 21 and was worried about being taken advantage of. He must've sensed it because as he showed me cars he was showing me features he'd want someone to show his daughter who is in her mid twenties. I was indecisive and left. A couple of days later he politely checked in with me. I came back into the dealership and he was able to get me into a 2020 Jeep Compass for the same price that another dealership was trying to charge me for a 2016 Jeep. He and I literally worked on getting me the best car for what I could afford from 5pm-11:30pm. I am so happy and more so impressed that this location has hired someone like Ali who actually cares and isn't trying to scam a customer. read more

I came in with a reservation to have certain services performed on my vehicle. After a 5 hour wait and 600 dollars, all that was completed were extra service items that I agreed to have done. It should have been communicated to me that my vehicle would not be aligned, my break screeching would not be fixed, and the parts needed to turn off my indicator lights would not be replaced that day- basically, what I took an entire day off and made a reservation for- Instead of focusing on these issues, the service rep up-sold me on services that for some reason (money/scam) took priority over the reasons I brought my car in, which was frustrating for me, since I drove in from an hour and a half away to receive service from this location because of a history with my vehicle. I was also disappointed my car was not washed as promised when I came to pick it up. Honestly it was a waste of a day, and money. I will not be bringing my Jeep back to Russell Westbrook. read more

if you're new to buying a car please don't go to this place. Whilst everyone is very nice they have sales men tactics that can totally and utterly defeat you. I was very specific in my request with what I wanted at 945am and by 6pm (YES A FULL DAY) I was given a option on a jeep WAY outside of my original need. My credit check took over half a day for them to 'get approved' which is quite frankly nonsense, credit checks are immediate. This is a sales tactic to keep you there. Then all this talk of "I'm new here' is another tactic they use. At 6pm I was defeated and just thought, fine. Ill take whatever they were offering, however, & thank the good lord for watching over me, when I called for Car Insurance through Geico they said it would be $400 a month, which thankfully put a stop to the whole fiasco. No way I was going to drive a jeep home for $950 per month. Utterly ridiculous. read more

My first visit to this dealer for repair and it was very unsatisfactory. It took 3 days to repair my Wrangler with a new water pump and battery valve and cost $950. When I called to check on the status, I was put through to someone's voicemail twice. When I asked questions about exactly what was done, the man couldn't even answer my simple questions. I asked him what something meant on the invoice and he didn't know. I will never go back there again. Hopefully the work they did was done well. read more

I had a situation today with Russell Westbrook Chrysler and because I'm still in shock - I decided to look at yelp to see if maybe this was a 1 time thing. Well no surprise here - it looks like this same thing happens all the time. I've been speaking to a salesperson (who I thought was incredible. Matter of fact, I was BRAGGING last night at dinner to friends about how I'm done with Keyes (after buying my last 12 new cars at their dealerships around town) bc my RW sales person has been so drama free and upfront. We discussed pricing I found online (the sales rep sent me the same price via text and the copy of the sticker so i could check options) and I'm pre-approved for up to 80k with Chrysler. The vehicle I want has been in transit. The sales rep checked in every day to lmk the status and I heard the car arrived yesterday afternoon. So today. IMAGINE my surprise to get a text with a run down of prices - the normal taxes, etc AND a 2k Theft Protection system. WTF. HUH????? I never heard of this option nor was it EVER mentioned until today as I was going to fill out paperwork to do the sale. After being told it was a lo jack and "ALL of our cars get them installed. We don't sell any cars without them" (Which I find really hard to believe as it's AN OPTION). I said I still want to buy the car - at the price we've been talking about for over a week - but I have no desire to buy a 2k lo Jack. Nor have any of my cars ever had one (and I've driven 90k Yukon's and 80k Audi's). I just don't waste money on overpriced accessories installed at the dealership. So I guess they'd rather not have an easy sale in hand in lieu if this 2k lo Jack. I'm not a sucker. I think he though he could slip it past me since I mentioned I'm paying for 1/2 of the car in cash. I hope he can fix this and we still make a sale. I was so excited that the vehicle had finally arrived. This just confirms my fears of switching from Keyes. They have their flaws but I've never had them just add expensive options and say the NEVER sell a car without it. Keyes at least will just try the old fashioned push at hard selling. read more

I typically do not have a great experience at the dealership because I always feel like I'm overpaying for basic services, but this time my car needed a repair so I had no choice but to go to the dealership since I have warranty. I was dreading going in to the dealership because they are always so busy or overbooked and it takes all day for me to get my car back. I usually go with Terry because he helps me out the most and he's most tentative to my needs but he was not available since everybody request him he was busy. A new gentleman by the name of Robert Pane assisted me in getting my car serviced and diagnosed to find out which repairs were necessary. He displayed excellent customer service, was very respectful. He explained himself clearly and was comforting during the whole process. I wish all service advisors where as professional as he is. Having my car taken in to the dealership and having Robert Pane as my service advisor made my experience there a great one and I would definitely go back thanks to him!!! read more

The price you see in their ad is not the price you pay. They added a $1,700. phone app that I did not want and they said it could not be taken off the invoice. The vehicle was listed as having navigation. I was told later I had to pay an extra $695.00 to have it activated. They have been unresponsive to my complaints. I wish I had never driven to Van Nuys. read more

This is the worst service department I've ever encountered. The dishonestly and lack of integrity here is unconscionable. Twice I've been forced to take my car in to manage 3 separate recalls - a number that in and of itself lets you know what kind of quality Jeep brings to the market. I don't recall the specific grievances of my last visit except that my car was not ready at the time promised, and the service rep, Gregg, kept calling me Shannon. I do remember that I was reluctant to ever have to deal with them again. After my experience today, I will not go back to this location. As a matter of fact, I've been working to put together the money to buy a new Jeep in July, and now I think I'll simply buy another make of car. I was at the dealership last week to make the appointment to come in today to replace a recalled part related to the passenger airbag. Even that was a hassle, Gregg said that I would have to have a diagnostic appointment to see which part my Liberty needed - fortunately a mechanic came into the waiting room and told him that wasn't true, and identified which part needed to be ordered. I was told to come in today at 7:30 am and that it would take about 6 hours to complete the repair. I arrived at 7:34 this morning. My car was not "checked in" until 8:34 according to the computer (I discovered this while I was complaining to the mgr around 4:45). I have Omar to thank for that. When I left my car with Omar this morning, I said to him, "Gregg said that it would take about 6 hours. Is that accurate?" Omar told me that it was, and that it would likely be done even faster than that. My car had an appointment for an 8:00am repair, which would dictate it being done by 2:00pm. Just to be safe, I decided to give them a 90 minute buffer. I actually arrived back at the dealership closer to 3:40. When I asked about my car, Omar went through everybody else's tickets and said he would find out how much longer right away and let me know what the mechanic said. About 15 minutes later he still hadn't asked, or even found out where my car was. I was getting annoyed, so he told me it would be about 30 minutes. About 40 minutes later he asked me my name so he could check on my car. At this point I became very annoyed, all I could say was, "Are you kidding me?" He hadn't checked on my car before, he just lied. I got another "at least a half an hour" response. Additionally, every time I inquired, he'd remark that it's a recall, I kept asking him what difference that made, whether it's a recall or a regular repair, they both take time and need to be done properly. When I finally spoke to the manager, her was not pleased to know that I kept being reminded that it was a recall. Honestly, I was having a Pulp Fiction / Jules "Say recall again, I dare you" moment. The manager told me that Omar was new, and that they were shorthanded - fine, tell me my repair will take 9 hours, and I won't waste my time coming in at some made up completion time. When the manager asked what he could do, I said, "don't let this happen to the next guy." I then found out that Omar had told the repair technician that my car didn't have to be done until 5:00pm. Either Omar or the repairman is straight up lying. Either way, I'll never go there again, they have no respect for their customers or their customer's time. I have no idea how this dealership has such a high rating here on Yelp. I will say that if you look at the service department reviews, they are mostly single stars (aka the lowest possible rating). Never again. Btw, they're supposed to give you a courtesy vehicle if they have your car that long on a recall, this dealership proudly declares not to have any courtesy vehicles available. I was not the only unhappy customer today. There was a father & son who were waiting while they tried to locate their car for two hours - finally the father, approx 65 yrs old, walked around and found it. Another couple left after paying $150 to be told that their starter needed to be replaced, exactly what the customer had told them - while he was waiting way too long for a simple diagnostic, that came with an exorbitant estimate, he watched You Tube videos on how to replace the part, searched an auto supply for parts, and left disgusted & determined to do the repair himself because, "No way do I trust these thieves." I never thought I'd be longing for the days when Center Jeep still existed. Clearly I was not the only disrespected unsatisfied customer there today. read more

I'm sure that other salesmen are honest here but you should probably shy away from David Abdullaev. Might be because he is new, but he gave us an APR that was 2x what was advertised and didn't give us the full factory refund offer, by the way this is illegal. I would know my job, however, even if I was new. I'm not quite sure what happened here but went to another dealer, "West Valley Chrysler Jeep" was honest with us, offered us all that the Jeep manufacturer advertised and worked with on pricing. Terrible customer service. Made appt via the online chat asked twice to have some one call to go over details for warranty (what's covered, towing, etc) agent promised someone would call. No call. A week before the appointment, i call and left another voicemail. No response, no callback. Call two days later, have to leave another voicemail. Still no response, no call back. Call the day before appointment, and have to leave ANOTHER voicemail. And you guessed it! No call back! Morning of the appointment, I'm scheduled for 12 noon. I call around 9AM, voicemail again! No call back! 10AM CALL AGAIN!! No response, no call back! Call a different department, get the operator she hears my story and says how sorry she is. Promises to transfer me to someone who will answer. No luck, straight voicemail. So i leave another one. No response, no callback. Now it's 11AM... Appointment is in 1 hour. My car is sitting here, immobile. I don't know if a tow truck is coming, if it's covered, if what is wrong with my car is covered... nothing! I know nothing! So i call again and get the same operator, i let her know my appointment is in less than an hour and I've been calling for a WEEK, and with about 8 voicemails left overall. That's absolutely ridiculous!! The appointment was already made, Ive been a customer to this dealership before so I'm in the system. No reason to be treated so badly. She tells me again, how sorry she is and that this time she was going to take my name and number over to the service department HERSELF AND MAKE SURE SOMEONE CALLED ME BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT. Do you think anyone called? No.... i called back at 11:45AM (15 minutes before my appointment) and it went to voicemail. My appointment that i waited almost 2 weeks for, requested time off of work for, and went because of the supreme lack of customer service and the serious disregard for their customers. I was basically begging them to just answer a couple questions for me. Do you think they called to let me know I even missed an appointment? Nope! Do you think they EVER called? Nope! Now two weeks later, my car is still sitting here broken. Today i decided to put my pride to the side and call. After all i need my car and the next closest dealership is 9 miles away. Called twice today. No answer. Tried to reach the operator at a different extension. No answer. I can't believe it, it almost feels like a joke! This dealership is the absolute worst! I have never left a review like this in my life but this place deserves it. I will tell anyone that ever mentions this place to me about this horrific experience. Now I'm dealing with Glendale 9 miles away but you know what? They answer the phone, and if they can't (which is normal) they care enough to return voicemails. Especially I'm sure if the same customer called repeatedly over a weeks time leaving numerous voicemails. NEW UPDATE 3/3/16 !! So turns out the service manager at Van Nuys (ken) is a thief! and is horrible to get a hold of! When me and ken sat down he told me. "Your truck needs a new Turbo-$4,500 and a Egr vavle-$1,100 plus labor". I was looking at almost $6,000 dollars. But i had purchased a Bumper to Bumper warranty, so i was only going to pay for the deductible. I told KEN to hold up on his offer, because i wanted to investigate to make sure these parts were really needed to be replaced. I then drove to San Fernando Rydell and Spoke with Rick the Service Manager. I have nothing but good things to say about Rick. When i got there i was quickly helped by staff. One of their techs scanned my 2010 ram and what do know, nothing about my turbo being bad!or my egr valve ! Thier scanner just marked bad tire sensors and windshield wiper fluid box leaking ." VAN NUYS TRIED TO PUT $6,000 DOLLARS IN THEIR POCKET USING MY BUMPER TO BUMPER WARRANTY AND FAILDED! "So when Van Nuys tried to do this, my account had been quickly frozen and has been frozen since last year. I just want to Thank You (Rick) at Rydell San Fernando for saving me the headache and time. I will be going to your dealership instead of VAN NUYS more often, and all of you customers hope you guys do the same before something like this happens to you guys. Well the 5 years came up this November ,2015 and the truck only has 79,000 miles? I have had about 3 recalls on the truck,the turbo just blew out,transmission is grinding gears , exhaust leaks , 3 bad tire sensors but wait theres more. I thought the 6.7 diesel engine had to crash around 300,000 miles ??So my father and i head to our local Van Nuys dealership and there we talked to an employee named ROSEMARY in service and JESUS in warranty . They sold us a extended warranty dodge offers for $3,500 dollars which is suppose to be cover the RAM till 124,000 miles, so we paid CASH ! "Thinking we werent going to have to worry about $6,000 dollars in parts right" . Wrong! The truck has been sitting in the lot for a whole month . I go into to the dealership on December 15, 2015 around 2:00 pm. I dont see ROSEMARY anywhere. Im standing on a broken hip for about 30 mins while i wait for some to help me . While i got jackie chan from service and jose thats a lot attendant getting into a argument about how jose shouldn't jump start a car and how jose should go fech a customers car instead lol. Very professional working as a team . So then a gentleman named Terry from service desides to help me. I ask him if ROSEMARY still works here ? He says, " she does no longer work here." So the truck was never worked on ! Now im stuck between a rock and a hard place . I asked Terry and the Service Manger what about my "New warranty" and they say , " We cant believe we sold you guys a warranty when your truck has these many problems and these many miles" . So the best we could do is give you a refund of your $3,500 dollars in a check and maybe a discount off the $6,000 dollar in parts because in the Warrantys fine print . It says " You have to wait 30 days till its affective and the vehicle should be in perfect condition". So why didnt ROSEMARY OR JESUS TELL US THAT WHEN WE BROUGHT THE TRUCK AND THEN SOLD US A WARRANTY THAT DOESN'T WORK ?! MAYBE THATS WHY SHE GOT FIRED . LIKE I SAID , "VERY PROFESSIONAL." I Made a deal to purchase a vehicle I wanted, I was then told to come back while they had someone deliver the car to their location because they didn't have the color I wanted . I had all the paperwork done just needed my final signature. I had already called my insurance to give the vin number so the car was insured in my name. Once it came down to do the signatures I said I will not was not sign till I see the vehicle in person then the sales rep told us the vin number he had given us previously before was the wrong one. They kept pressuring me to sign before I saw the vehicle .Turns out they tried to switch the vehicle we had originally made the deal on and give me a completely different car. After this so call mistake they still refused to commit to the deal that was made on the car I had chosen. Their customer service is poor and I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this location. Very unprofessional and sneaky. Customer service you get a 0! read more

Some of the employees here are not as good as you would ever expect, especially the mechanics. I know some of the things they were saying were completely wrong and were just said to make a customer to feel better but did not work on us. I brought my car in to get my handle fixed and i left it there for about 6 hours and when i came to pick it up they said they didnt need to buy a new part (which i knew they needed to) and they went to open my car door and it was still broken. Such a waste of my day and had to reschedule. Next time i came back they had to "change my oil" again because they forgot to at my first visit, PLUS every employee that i encountered except one was very rude and unprofessional - also groaning/complaining right in front of my face when they were asked to do a task. Talked to a finance manager or a finance employee as well and she seemed that she did not to want to help and was not interested in hearing our concerns with the other employees. I recently purchased a used car from here, they originally told me they ran me credit two places later when I looked at my credit karma it said they ran it 6 times, besides that there were some things on the car that needed to be fixed, one being a bumper that wasn't aligned right and the other were a couple lights bulbs that were out, very simple things that they did not want to do but they did try to fix the bumper doesn't seem like they did anything still looks the same. The lightbulbs they said they can't do anything about electrical. Definitely wouldn't recommend this dealer read more

Such crap service! Called and made an appointment and told them exactly what the problem was. Rear bumper needs to be replaced and bling-spot sensors are not working. Was told no problem. Brought it in this morning, they took all my info, told the guy the exact same thing. Asked for them to call with a quote and that I needed the car back by 4pm to pick up my kids from school. Was informed none of this was a problem. At 230 I called and was put on hold for over 20 minutes and had to call back twice to speak to what was apparently the only person who could tell me about my car only to be told they can't take the bumper off the car. That I have to go to the body shop for that. When I asked why I wasn't informed when I made the appointment and when I dropped it I was told that the customers are usually wrong so they need to evaluate the car anyway! So I lost an entire day and I'm going to have to do it again elsewhere another day because apparently they cannot trust that I can tell when my bumper is pushed in and broken?! Yes its true. One Star is generous actually. If you are a consumer take this warning...BEWARE!!! I have been a Chrysler customer for 22 years. Don't buy a car here!!!! I bought a brand new RAM here and it was the biggest mistake I ever made. They are very unprofessional. I was promised certain things in the contract that they would not honor or make right. I had my car for 10 days, they were supposed to install 3 parts and I was supposed to have it back in 3 days. That was almost 6 weeks ago. I still do not have my car back. They do not return emails or phone calls and I continue to make payments and pay insurance on a car I only used a few days, almost 2 months ago... I would never make another deal at Van Nuys Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Ram (also known as Van Nuys CDJR) and I the only reason I am writing this Yelp review is to try to save someone else from having to go through the stress and grief I went through. I still don't have my car back. Also (where ever the car is that I bought) they never washed the car (still has the blue tape all over the exterior paint) and they never filled up the gas tank either. Other things that were promised and never done but pale in comparison to the lack of communication and the taking of my personal property and not returning it. At this point it looks like I'm going to need to have a lawsuit to resolve this. At any rate there are lots of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealers...I would highly suggest avoiding buying a car or entering into a contract at Van Nuys CDJR. I have bought many new cars and have never had an experience link this one. read more

He made sure that all my questions were answered and all of my vehicle needs were met. I really appreciated his diligence and his attention to detail. NEVER RECOMMEND THEM! I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a car dealership. My Husband wanted to purchase the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 that was on a ramp and the only one that they had, he ask the sales person if they could pull it off the ramp so he and I could see inside the car but when the salesman ask the manager for the keys to pull it off he replied that they could not unless we started the paperwork to purchase the car. Remaindering you that we have never driven or even looked inside the car. My husband told him that we would never buy a car from this dealership and the fact is, it put such a bad taste in our mouth that we will never buy a Jeep vehicle at all. After we left We went down the street to Chevrolet and bought the Navigator LTZ instead, they were very nice and accommodating the way I would expect someone that wants to sell cars should be. But I just want to let everyone know that they should not ever give their business to such a rude and racist dealer. On 9/4 I had my car towed from Culver City to Russell Westbrook in Van Nuys. I have been a loyal customer to this dealership and the previous one at this location totaling approx. 30 years or more. To my surprise my usual service advisor Terry Cordova was no longer there. Oscar helped me instead. I was there because my car would not start. The AAA guy jumped the battery. It started right up and would die a few minutes later. I asked about an oil change deal and was told there were none. Last time I had the panel on the driver's side replaced, the front passenger seat belt replaced to stop the ringing and the dealer lost my car key. Oscar told me he would have to talk to his manager about it all and get back to me. Oscar called the next day and said the battery was dead and he could not check the rest of the car without a new one. He said I could get one at Pep Boys as I thought mine was under warranty there. I found out it wasn't and tried to reach him the same day to find out the cost of the dealerships battery. My calls went to voicemail for two weeks. I never received a return call from him. Finally I asked for a service manager, which is Mike G. He acted surprised I had been calling for two weeks about the battery. He said I could buy a battery at Pep Boys and there would be a $40 fee to install it. I had not even realized they would do that. I thought I had to tow the car to Pep Boys and than bring it back to the dealer for the other problems. I bought the battery from the dealer. I asked him about the side panel, the lost key and seat belt. He said none of it was written down on the order and he'd find out them. At the end of two weeks I have heard nothing again. My car has now been at the dealer for a month. I reached Isabel she said the car is ready. I asked her what did they do and she did not know. I'm calling again to talk with Mike G. to find out what was done to the car? Friday evening after a week of calling I get a call back thinking it would be Mike G. But, no it's Oscar after Mike G. knows I want nothing to do with Oscar. He tells me it was only the battery; I then ask what about replacing my key they lost, the side panel, the ringing with the passenger seat. Oscar states angrily they are not replacing the key; they will not honor the warrantee on the side panel or seat belt. I am questioned by him about how I get in and out of the drivers side of the car as the new panel is broken and I must really drag on it if it is broken and so on. It has now gotten ugly on the phone and I say, Oscar, may I ask why I am talking with you and not Mike, as he knew there is a conflict with us? Mike calls out in the background that he is there. We are all on speakerphone without my knowledge. Both proceed to bully me about the situation. I'm told this is a new ownership and they have had a change of management and they will not honor anything and have no records of anything and this is all just too bad. I'm stating I've been a loyal customer for years. They are strongly telling me that it is all too bad. By the end of the call I am in tears, why? So stunned, stupefied actually at how they are talking to me, so disappointed at the ending of a relationship with a company I had been loyal to for years and trusted especially when there is a Chrysler dealer ten minutes from me. They told me to call Mike A. their supervisor if I felt the need to. I did and never got through for a week and went to voicemail. They gave me the Chrysler complaint line number. Chrysler now have a record of the complaint. Chrysler Complaint line tries to call Russell Westbrook for three days and can't get through to anyone. I am told all Mopar parts are warranted two years, not one year. Russell Westbrook should have honored the warrantee no questions, just do it and I told her they told me to take a hike. All this week I am trying to just arrange to get my car. I am not happy they have honored nothing and I will never go back. Finally there is a message left by Mike G, not Mike A with Mike G saying he read the email for Mike A and wanted to talk about the problem with Oscar and Alex, I think who is Alex? I try to get though all day to return the call and finally I reach a human being at 6:30pm to leave a message for Mike G that I don't know whom Alex is, but I would like to get my car. He never calls me back. That was Thursday. Yesterday there is a letter in my mail Russell Westbrook would like to buy my car at an even higher price than its value and I think well that is the limit. I have never been treated so badly anywhere else. They should be ashamed of themselves. I had to know what was going on before I took an Uber all the way out there as I was coming 20 miles to pick up my car and I am disabled. Theres no good reason to not return a call for a month or more. My car was there six weeks for a battery change because of a lack of their communication and no honoring of the warranty, or replacement of my key they lost. Bad form! read more

Wanted to shout out Derrik, Hady, Enrique, Dustin, Travis, and everyone in sales at Russell Westbrook CDJR in Van Nuys for my pleasant experience when leasing my Jeep Wrangler. From sales to management they literally gave me the royal treatment. They were understanding of what I wanted, what my budget was, and most importantly my time... Literally, I couldnt ask for a more flawless experience. I had then install a hood lock (just because you never know) and literally when they took me in on the time and day I was available. I was greeted immediately by the staff and service director on the drive. The shop Forman, Zoran, explained what I was getting installed and how it worked. Fabian who was my advisor got me in and out and set up with an Uber within 5mins. When I returned Terry acknowledge my return and got me my keys. I was initially running late but was able to get to my daughters school with few minutes to spare thanks to their efficiency that afternoon. Thank you all again. You all work, sometimes under difficult circumstances and literally to be acknowledge and shown my appreciation for my business at the end of my transactions at RWCDJR... Needed an extra key, and Ron was terrific in ordering it for me - he's the reason for even the one star I'm giving this dealer. When you walk into service area, there's a ton of desks and customer service people -- don't expect any of them to be happy to help you. I asked for guidance, where/who do I start? Since they all seemed to avoid eye contact. One girl snorted, "Do you even have an appt?" I did. She directed me to another guy which I was thankful for so she could go back to looking at her nails. He couldn't find my appt. I said, you guys sent an email reminder about it so... His response? He physically turned his computer monitor to show me that I wasn't listed. I was about to give up because I didn't want to argue with him about having an appt or not, terrible customer service. He finally figured it out and was rude the entire time, except for pointing out where I could sit to wait. I talked to the manager Ken, I explained how bad the experience was and his response was to shrug and (I cannot believe this happened twice in one visit) turn his computer monitor to show me that YES I WAS in the system and I should not have had that problem. What is it with these guys showing computer screens? When I checked out, I asked "Is it always this chaotic here?" The answer: "Yea, pretty much." Sweet. Won't be back. read more

i thought about giving this place two stars but i have a slight allergy towards negativity so i wasn't able to do that. plus, the guys we worked with were nice enough... however... our sales guy wasn't on top of his game. he walked us several blocks over to look at the cars they had on the lot but he didn't have a key to get in them and he couldn't find the car i wanted, and he kept forgetting what i was looking for. he didn't seem knowledgeable at all about the cars. he only knew what he read off of the sticker and he continued to not remember, or maybe not listen, to what i was looking for - this would be an ongoing problem. for the next two hours i had to repeat what i was looking for. they didn't have it so we talked about ordering it but couldn't come to an agreement on a price. i suppose this sort of thing happens BUT i have never left a dealership feeling so disappointed before. he couldn't even come close to the price i was willing to pay. the head sales guy gave us a friendly greeting and came in at one other point during the deal but then disappeared. maybe our sales guy was new and, well, what can you do? this was not a good time and my husband and i walked away, bummed. but the good news is... later that same day, i found exactly what i was looking for at Scott Robinson Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Torrance. J.T. was an excellent sales person and got me in my dream car at an even lower price than i imagined. (see my review) so, all's well that end's well. just not at Russell Westbrook. read more

So I called this dealership last week to make an appointment to check out some jeep patriots. The person on the other line tells me we have plenty of 2016 2017 jeep patriots. When can you come in? I'm like perfect. I can make it Saturday April 15th at 8pm. I get my confirmation number. I get a couple of calls throughout the day on Friday the 14th. Messages are from Rene, sales person. I call back to confirm I will be there on Saturday at 8pm. Saturday comes around. I'm at work, when I get to my cellphone 15!! 15 missed calls and numerous messages from not only Rene but other sales people. I call Rene back to say what's going on? As I'm talking to him another call from another sales rep is coming through. I was like guys. Relax I'll be there. I make it at 7:40. Early. So I'm told Rene is busy and that someone else will be helping me out. Which is fine. It doesn't matter to me. I ask where are your jeep patriots. Takes me to the back lot and one jeep 2016 Patriot. One? I'm like I was told you guys had plenty by a sales rep on Thursday when I made the appt. why the hell would I come all the way down here to see one model? I test drove it. I wanted to see what I would get for it. Sales rep decides to tell me and my husband if we want to lease the vehicle, I would have to pay the msrp sticker price at 27k. I went outside as my husband and the sales rep were hashing it out. This was a joke. Oh and they low balled me for my 2008 grand touring Mazda 3. A joke of a deal. Listen it's sad knowing they are in this area and thinking people aren't smart. And they can get away with over charging people. Latinos that don't know better will fall for this type of sales representation. Super super disappointed that they get away with this type of behavior. Let me say this there was another couple there that night trying to also buy a vehicle. Know where we both end up at? West valley jeep in canoga park. And guess what? We both bought our vehicles from there. And No I did not pay the msrp price and no crappy service from the sales rep. Which I called on Saturday night to make an apt for on Easter Sunday and I didn't get 15 calls by the way. Excessive much? Oh and I got a really great offer on my car as trade in. And how many Patriot jeeps did they have at this location? More than 8. read more

This dealership was great for buying my new car, the sales reps were all very nice and the place felt futuristic. Since buying my car I have gotten my car serviced a few times and everytime has been a breeze. Hector especially in the service department has been a great person to have handle my car, seeing as he does things in a timely manner and is an all around great guy. read more

As a mother of two and with a full time job I decided to go to Jeep dealership in Van Nuys which was close to my home, after my work hours. At first they were super attentive and showed me 3 Jeep Grand Cherokee "Limited" but none of them had the back up camera. After leaving to pick up my kids from school and coming back before closing time, they showed me another Jeep Grand Cherokee with the back up camera but no leather seats. I said to myself the back up camera and the other features in the "Limited" was more important so I said I will take it. Well, being late and with my two kids wanting to go home, I left with my new leased Jeep thinking I am getting the car I tested drive but nope, I went home with a "Laredo" which didn't have any of the features I needed. When I went back to talk to the general manager about my situation he said "sorry I can't do anything about it". I was very disappointed and thought they took advantaged of my situation. I hope others that read this will be more attentive and not trust car sales peeps when they lease or buy their next car. Take your time so you don't have to go through the same frustrating experience. read more

Extremely disappointed and unsatisfied with after sales services!!! I leased the Dodge Charger on Nov 12,2019 and I was told to come pick up the spare key on Nov 15th but I couldn't make it on that day due to work so went on Nov 16th. Joshua Alvarado was the sales person and he refused to give me the key and told me (with an attitude) to text him to schedule an appointment. I texted him a couple of times to schedule an appointment but he never responded to my texts. I went to the dealership at least 5 times. Every time I went, they made excuses like "can you reschedule the appointment or the guy who programs the key to the car is not here" so upsettingly I rescheduled. When I went back on my scheduled day, they said "the person who programs the key isn't here so we can't give you the key" even asked Josh and Rodriguez to let me speak with the Dealership manager but they insisted on a reschedule. They even double charged me on the down payment. They took a check from me and took my credit card details as backup but charged card AND deposited the check. I called the dealership to tell them I was double charged, they told me to come by so they can reverse one payment. When I got there, I was told that the finance manager was not in and for me to come back. Ultimately I have to call my bank to fix it. Also, when I got the car, it was dark out so I didn't realize that there were a few scratches on the hood. I called about the scratches and was told to make an appointment so they can buff them out. I have been calling to schedule an appointment but nobody answers or calls back. THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUS! They take your money and have no customer service beyond selling you a car. Loved my experience leasing my Jeep Cherokee here. But it is the service department here that is the worst. Poor management. Had to go in for routine recall which ended up taking 5 days. I declined their offer for a free rental car because we have an extra car at home...but I probably saved the dealership a couple of hundred dollars in rental charges. But when I came back to pick up my Jeep, I asked if I could have a copy of the key made with a little bit of a discount...the sullen service manager department head said he could swing a discount of 3%...which amounted to a total grand savings of about three dollars. Didn't care that I had just saved them a load off money. Needless to say, I declined that cheap, officious and backhanded offer. Other experiences here have much gone the same way. Always long on the wait, long on the service time, no warmth and zero out of the way exceptionalism. It's a management issue. Disappointing. Doubtful I would return for another lease. read more

Brought my Challenger in for repairs and told them about a sensor issue I've been having, where indicator lights on my dash (mostly the tire pressure light) turn on and off intermittently while I'm driving. I describe this problem in great detail, as it had been happening over the course of a year. Three days and $1500 later, they bring me my "perfectly-running" car, and bing! the tire pressure indicator light pops on. Turns out they disregarded my description/explanation completely, didn't even check the sensors, and now I still have that same problem. Will not return to this dealer. read more

So many people only complain on Yelp. When a business, and the people who run that business, are exceptional - - I always try to let people know. A buddy and I just purchased a Dodge Ram Promaster City -- The version with a rear bench seat, which makes it a comfortable family vehicle for five - - and a perfect workhorse on the job. Check it out! Four people at this dealership made the experience exceptional. The first is Derek, head of internet sales. We had made our initial request for a quote over the Internet, so Derek was the man. He did some serious horsetrading with another dealership to get the exact model with the exact options which we wanted. And Deeek didn't even tell us, until the deal was completed, that it had been quite a juggling act. Thanks, Derek! The second guy is Max, the Finance Director. He made that whole side of the process as painless as possible, and talked us through all of the add-ons (some of which are very worthwhile) without any sales pressure whatsoever. Thanks, Max! He had an able assist from Joe, the Sales Manager - - also right there, to do everything possible to make it a positive experience in every way. Thanks, Joe! And the guy who won't want to take any credit for any of this is Ara, the General Manager. But he deserves credit, because he is the man establishing the climate in which his team does business, and giving them some space and air and flexibility to do business in a way that forms relationships, not just sells cars. Thanks, Ara! This was our first experience at this dealership - - and it will not be the last.
