I purchased a used 2022 Lexus GX460 from Van Nuys Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on September 13, 2022. The vehicle has a deep scratch in the rear passenger door that goes all the way down to bare metal. Being that I was purchasing a used car, I overlooked other minor scratches but insisted that that deeper scratch be added to the due bill because it could cause rust. The sales manager, Badie Audish, agreed to pay to get this damage fixed. Since I do not live in the LA area, Badie assured me that I could have the work done near my home. He agreed to cut me a check for an amount equaling the average of the 3 repair quotes, which came out to be $1,528.74. However, when I provided proof of the quotes and requested that a check be distributed, they only agreed to payout the lowest quote amount, but only after I had the work done. After further discussion, they then offered to reimburse me the full amount, but again, only after the work had been done. I do not trust that they will reimburse me for the repair costs as they have given me the runaround for almost a month now. I've called, emailed and sent text messages to my sales person, Harry Merdinian to address this matter with no response. I spent $20,000 on a down payment with this dealership and they are refusing cover costs that were agreed upon in the contract. I will continue to pursue this matter until I receive the compensation I am owed. read more

Shady at its finest. Bait and switch car, multiple misleading texts and calls. I went in on a Monday to look at a car that was listed for $3000 less than any other dealership around. When I got there, they conveniently couldn't find the keys. The next day, they told me it was available. I asked them to run my credit and I would come down and pick it up, and never heard back. Then on Wednesday, one sales associate text me and said it was not available and was sold the day prior, while another one emailed me at roughly the same time and told me it was available. ----Ran 9 hard credit checks against my account to retaliate for me deciding not to buy from them---- I walked in and told them exactly what my monthly payment budget was and how much I had to put down. They showed me a ton of cars out of my budget with the claim that they will work with me. After sitting down and giving the authorization to do a soft credit check the seller sent his manager over to chat with me. The monthly payments were more than double what we talked about. I tried to politely decline, but they were extremely aggressive. They held my car keys and basically prevented me from leaving. After I finally left. They ran 9 hard credit checks on my credit over the next 2 months. Please avoid this place. This is the worst franchise car dealership I have experienced in my 20 years of buying cars. We agreed to a price for a Jeep in writing (text). I ubered to the dealership to consummate the transaction. They added $3,500 to vehicles price and line itemed it as a "dealer fee" that cannot be negotiated. I told their sales manager I have a deal in writing. His response was the person who provided the pricing to me was not authorized to do so, and therefore I would be subject to the new pricing. DO NOT GO HERE. they're complete dirtbags. They'll close you at one payment and come out and tell you they got you a slightly lower rate and have you sign the second pencil with a lower payment. They'll then sign everything on the docu pad in finance and it'll all look correct. BUT they'll switch it afterwards to the original payment they closed you at and add back and products like key and dent protection without you knowing. MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR CONTRACT AFTERWARDS. I had to edit my previous review because did not honor the contract, I will be reporting to Better business bureau. The only reason we came in was for the promotion they had 120days no payment. We sign a paper saying they where going to give us that promotion as it states online and where going to fix the contract. The paper that was sign never made it to Chrysler Financial. They are giving us the run around not answering our calls or emails. At this point we will be returning the vehicle or taking legal action. These guys give dirty car dealers a bad name! they play dirty games- work with at your own risk! tried to buy out the lease on my car - told me that I needed to come down to do paperwork but when I got there they intentionally made it difficult to use anyone but their lender at a much higher rate. The paperwork (which I had to fight to get) was just a simple sales contract for my bank (which they didn't even have me sign on-site so they could have emailed) and they didn't even want to give that to me unless I agreed to fill out an application for a "back-up" loan which I refused to sign for. The only reason they did give it was other customers on the sales floor were starting to take an interest in what was happening. FYI-- my bank financed in less than 48 hours, but now they again refuse to close this out unless I come in. They have a copy of my ID from the last visit, so can't claim this was a fraud issue. They also have my original lease on file. They also claim they only do things in person- nothing electronically so they can't fax, email or docu-sign paperwork to me. read more

The service department fails to give proper information. Every time I go to take my jeep to get serviced they tell me a specific time and it never fails iam stuck waiting until they close. (Please learn how to communicate properly with costumers) I hate how they don't do appointments. Alex (one of the service members I got) told me my jeep would be ready in a couple hours and it wasn't I had to show up at 6pm. (Closing time) He said & I quote " we didn't wash your car cause you were so pressed on time" LOL I called 3 times to keep checking on my jeep since he kept giving me times throughout the day and they weren't ready. So I got no car wash and he made me walk all the way to the back gate to pick up my jeep didn't even get his lazy ass up to get my jeep for me. It's the lack of customer service for me. read more

I bought a new, 0 miles car, at their Mother's Day sale event; the vanity mirror visor lights did not work (apparently the dealership doesn't know those terms; these are the lights found inside the mirror when you pull down the visor) and since June 24th they said they would be getting them within the week to replace the ones in my new car so they function as they're supposed to. It's July 18th and they have yet to receive them, fix them, or even shoot me a text message or call to schedule this service. The assistant manager doesn't answer calls or text messages. The sales managers are usually never available. The sales rep answers my calls but is not in service so can't help with replacing non-functioning parts in a new car they sold me. This is after my car was in for three weeks on a roof rack install that was done incorrectly so now my car is missing an exterior part. I wish I would have chosen another dealership. read more

Almost every car dealership experience is tedious and painful. I am considering that in giving Russell Westbrook's Jeep store this rating. Somewhat worse than others I've endured. I'm 54 and have purchased MANY cars over my lifetime both new and used. Bottom Line: I wouldn't go back here again and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Cons: - Typical sales force pressure "I'm gonna lose money on this deal" etc. - Aggressively force you to THEIR finance company (more on this later) - No call back the next day when I had a concern (calling them seems useless) - Lot VERY small (hard to park) and inventory NOT at the lot. Pros: - Good sized inventory of Jeeps! - Fully DIGITAL paperwork (all electronic - very nice) - My salesman, Kevin, was friendly and helpful (took extra time @ delivery) (The More Part Here) I arrived with pre-approved financing with my credit union. Salesman (not Kevin) refused to make a 'deal' using my financing. So I thought, "Whatever. After I drive off the lot, how the dealership gets paid for the car is really none of their business." So the next day, I'm trying to call them (without the pressure of 'making the deal') to simply have them fund the purchase through my credit union to save everyone the extra step of me "re-financing" next week. Try calling the service department any time of the day, I'll bet money nobody answers. How am I calling for 40 minutes back to back on a Tuesday at 2pm and nobody ever answers!? Same thing on Wednesday, Thursday. Really?? Anyway..I brought my brand new 22' Jeep Wrangler 4xe in for service on 9/6 due to a very heavy smell of gasoline every time I parked my car in my garage. This happened from day 1 of having my Jeep. Brushed it off initially since it was brand new and maybe I was exaggerating what I smelled, but friends even made some comments so I figured something is surely wrong. So brought it in and was told it could be up to a week. Also they had no loaners so I would need to go to Enterprise on my own and rent a car then submit for reimbursement through Chrysler. Great, did that and after a full week passed without any update, I called and started leaving messages, first for my advisor, then just anyone in the service department that could update me on my vehicle. I finally get in touch with my advisor who says the technician looked it over and wasn't able to smell anything but that he still hasn't put it up on the lift so maybe when he does he'll find something. I'm thinking 'ok so what exactly has taken an entire week if all that was done was a drive around the block + a sniff test?'. But he told me he'd call me the next day to update after the technician got it on the lift. No call back so after 2 MORE days I called and left a message for an update. Still no call. The following day, called and had some operator transfers me to a different voicemail so I left another message. So now at the 2 WEEK mark I'm fed up and ask for anyone there to please just give me an update on my vehicle. The dude that eventually called me says 'ok so looking over the notes it looks like they weren't able to recreate the problem or find a leak anywhere'. He then asks if he could have a tech drive my Jeep home overnight to see if they could recreate the issue, which I thought strange.. but reluctantly agreed to. The following day I was told 'nope, no smell sorry. Want to just come pick up your Jeep?'. When I went to pick it up, in addition to the 30+ miles it was driven overnight, it was filthy as if literally someone had gone off-roading in it. Mud all over the tires and splattered up onto the body. Nobody said anything to me when I got there. No 'thanks', no 'this is what we did', no suggestions for what I should do next. Just handed me the keys to my filthy ride and walked away. 15 days it took and that's what I'm left with. And to add insult to injury, the moment I got it home and closed the garage door I could immediately smell gasoline. So not sure where to go from here, but I know for a fact it will not be to Russell Westbrook in Van Nuys. read more

So I had previously written a negative review however I definitely need to write an update because this place has earned my business and respect . Jonathan Pyle , Joe Nagar and Max in Finance were just WONDERFUL!!! Jonathan turned my frown upside down he totally listened to me and my needs. He was sooo amazing throughout the whole process!!! When we arrived he had mentioned the kids playroom for my son, he offered us water, and was just very friendly. What I loved most is that he listened to us, and he wasn't pushy. He was more like a friend trying to help us and do the best to make us happy. He honestly made it happen and I can't thank him enough. Joe the Sales Manager was great too!! We've leased a total of 5 cars from this dealership since 2018. 2 have been returned, but we are still leasing 3 cars (scat pack, 2022 jeep wrangler and 2022 Sahara XE hybrid). Went in to service a brand new Sahara XE hybrid for death wobbles and jeep shuts-off for no reason while driving- so far its shut off twice in the middle of the freeway PRETTY SCARY!! In the past, because we knew the staff, we were given loaners while our cars were in service, if they were going to be kept for a significant amount of time. Now they want you to call Mopar/Chrysler and arrange for a loaner yourself at the local car rental place and maybe, if they want, reimburse you for a rental up to $20/day. Last I checked, a $20/day rental gets you a Toyota Yaris maybe even less than this. Now that the staff we once knew, has since become none the smarter and moved on from this establishment, we are in unfamiliar territory. They are keeping the car between 5-7 days to fix the shut off and death wobble issue and we are out of a car until then. I can guarantee this was and is our last round of leasing from this dealership. Things to check when buying/leasing a vehicle; make sure they offer a loaner if you have to leave your car for service and make sure to add extended warranty service on your vehicle (brakes, oil change) and rim/tire warranty. We did this except, at the time their loaner service was better than before. One shouldn't have to know the pope to get "decent service". It wouldn't have helped in this case anyway. Side bar - 10:30am there were 2 salespeople on the floor and 1 manager. 2 of the salespeople were brand spanking new and wouldn't have been able to help at all. Service Dept. is always helpful and attentive, especially Hector, Benny, and Payman. They respond to texts, always answer questions and are very polite. p.s. the new manager for the sales floor is rude, uncaring, and has zero intention of being helpful. When I asked for the GM, he said "you can wait if you want, but it could be 10 minutes or 2 hours, but you can wait if you want". Well, being business owner's who's leased 5 cars from this place, I have better things to do than stand around and hope that maybe sometime soon someone will maybe show up to assist me. If we treated our clients like this, we wouldn't have a business to talk about. Again, last time, ever. read more

My experience was good, except i got to say that the assistant manager Selena (who answers to the General manager Raed due to the GM's busy schedule) is very rude, unprofessional and she expects the customers to thank her and not get a good customer back. Selena truly needs to understand customer service and learn not to argue with clients. I am not sure what type of profession she came from before becoming an assistant manager. Stay away! Absolute Frauds! They will never see my Business Again. In November 2021 I Spent in excess of 6K to effect several repairs including the AC on Our Dodge Durango. The work was under warranty for one year. The AC had never worked well since the initial repair. We've taken it back several times. Now they want another 5K to repair leeks in the AC, that was never properly repaired in the 1st place and they are not honoring the 1 year Warranty issued from the initial repair. To add insult to injury Hector the head of the service Dept. was rude as he practically hung up on me. I am a business owner as well. if he worked for me he would be the 1st thing to go and their policy regarding honoring the warranty would be the 2nd. Bunch of scammers. They sold me unnecessary warranty's that I was told would help get the loan approved. When I got a letter from the place that bought the loan they actually told me I didn't need to buy the extra warranty for the loan ( I guess a lot of shady dealers give this false information to customers. I went up there to cancel these unnecessary warranty's and they purposely cancelled my gap insurance. I've gone up there several times and told them I never asked for the gap insurance to be cancelled and had to finally call the company directly so they can reinstate it. I saw another review that said they run hard credit checks and they did the same with me after they said I was not approved. I did end up buying the car a week later but my credit was ran at least five times which I didn't not agree to. These people vengeful and petty. read more

Brought in my car to get the nitrofill in my tires. Spoke with a woman said I could bring it in at any time before closing to get it serviced at no charge. Drove 1 hour 20 min to get here arrived at 500pm and no one was here to service the car. Brought it here the next day 1015am took me 1 hour 45 min and they tell me there machine that does the nitrofill is busted. Spoke with Rogelio Espinoza or Espinola works the service desk did apologize and I requested that they if they added regular air that the next time I came in that they deflate the tire and add all nitro. He said they would and added it into the "notes" in the system and when I requested it in writing or a printout of it he declined and was acting like a a hole about it. I was polite and explained my reasons why I was not comfortable with just taking his word for it. Bad service overall with lack of knowledge from the woman we spoke with over the phone, and professionalism from Rogelio "Roger" addressing me as bro and speaking to me as if I was beneath him. read more

They will make promises that just to get you in the dealership and you find out it's totally different, they don't even have the car they listed on the website , they will tell you I got it all ready and washed it up for you and all the paperwork ready. I highly recommend people submit complaints on the Better Business Bureau if they believe their experience qualifies for a complaint. I will be leaving one on BBB after I submit my review here and Google. This business, if you can call it that, does not not deserve even one star. They are a predatory, manipulative, fast-talking slimy dealership. What I will share in this review is not a new ploy by them, I see it repeatedly in the reviews on Yelp. The dealership adds on between 3-5k in "upgraded accessories." They do not advertise this in the price and only reveal it once you have already test drove the car, had your credit ran, and you are in the negotiation stage. This positions you, the buyer, in a state where you are relatively invested in the car and ready to only negotiate about a thousand off the price. Well the salesperson will bring you the price sheet and suddenly there are these extra charges. They explain that they can't not charge you for these extra things and after intense negotiation they may work out a deal to take one or two accessories off. These accessories are things like $995 for "Nitrogen filled tires" which, by the way, Costco uses to fill up your tires FOR FREE. In this process you are disoriented by the mall-like playlist that they have playing at summer pool-party level volumes and by a revolving line-up of consistently slimier personnel that get injected in your deal. You feel like you won because you negotiated two thousand dollars off, but you in fact paid $3k more than the original sticker price that brought you into the dealership. Their prices aren't even a steal. See image. I hope this illustrates their ineptitude. For me, their tactics weren't even the worst part. I was interested in a car that was listed online. When it was listed it wasn't available yet, but it was priced at $28k. I called to ask when it would become available and they told me the date. After it became available it was listed at $29k. I was shocked that it rose in price because it was never communicated to me that it might rise in price. If a car is not inspected, yet the price is subject to change it is entirely unprofessional to list a price. RED FLAG#1 After I was passed around to several employees I settled into speaking to one salesperson about the car, I explained that I confirmed that it was "bone-stock," I confirmed the price, and I set up a time to come into the dealership the next day explaining that I would be taking a day off of work and driving FOUR hours one way to arrive. At this point I had spoken to 4 people about this, apparently they like to play hot-potato with customers and it is difficult for a customer to get a dedicated salesperson. (At the end of my interaction I had spoken to about 6 people) RED FLAG #2 What I described above happened. The difference was that my father, a steady and cool-headed man, was with me and withstood their quick tongues and aggressive tones. Trust me, I would have started crying at the desk if it was just me. They wouldn't let us finance the car with our credit union. This is highly suspect. RED FLAG #3. Next, we told them "fine, we will write a check for the price of the car and then refinance through our credit union." The salesperson told us that we could do that if leave with their financing, but we can only refinance in 6 months. This meant that they wanted us to pay the car payment with their interest rate of 7% for 6 months. For context, our credit union offered us a 1.86% rate, there's no way we would pay a rate 3x higher. He told us we could not refinance immediately. That is very suspicious. They made BS excuses as to why we couldn't, luckily my dad is a guy who deals with contracts all day and knows that this is completely inaccurate. RED FLAG #4 After we walked out of the dealership someone from finance calls me to see if I came in today. I told the person that I didn't know how they knew I would come in today and she told me that "everyone in the finance department knew about my sale." Stupidly I ignored this statement and gave her my final offer, she said she would talk to someone and call me back. She never did lol RED FLAG #5 AND THE ICING ON THE CAKE is that when they took my dad's ID for paper work they never gave it back and we didn't realize till we arrived back home 250 miles away. They never called that day to tell us, and when my dad called to inform them, they didn't have the cell phone number of the sale person helping us. BRIGHT RED FLAG #6 I do not want a generic reply from the management to give them a call. That is clearly an empty attempt to assuage the viewers of the page and will in no way rectify the issues. This is supported by ppl's updated reviews TLDR; This dealership lures people in with okay car prices, inflates car prices, uses predatory and possibly illegal tactics of negotiation and business practices, and wholly lacks any trace of a functioning business administration and professional decorum. read more

Definitely do not recommend this dealership. Customer service is pretty terrible. Everyone's always running around so getting someone on the phone is impossible. They also have an "auto answer" on their phone. One of the great amenities of this dealership that allows you to talk to the air and listen to them in the background laughing with music blasting. I was not notified of any of their add ons and was told my total financing price was due to my credit score. Come to find I had an option for all these add ons. Took my 9k purchase to 13k. False advertisement when buying the car. I asked Peter the sales guy if there was anything wrong with the car and he failed to mention the speaker issues along with the damages on the car. Roxana was the one who blindsided me on the financing price making me believe it was my credit. Michael is the customer service manager and he seemed like he'd be the best to communicate with since he gave me his email after me having to camp out at the dealership to talk to someone about the issues I was having. Come to find he was just as rude via email, and had zero compassion for my frustration. He submitted my refund but only for maintenance and failed to refund me the rest I was blind sided on. Juan a sales guy called me to talk about the problems I was having and actually tried to talk me out of my warranty in order to refund my maintenance. Lol further trying to screw me. He had me fill out a paper and then ghosted me and never followed through with anything. Definitely go into this dealership with financing options already selected with a Credit Union so they don't screw you. Bring someone with you to help review their extremely confusing contract. Prepare to be there all day buying a car and all day after the fact. Prepare to have them attempt to solve your money issues with them telling you they'll reduce your payments if you send them more people. Pretty shit deal to offer a referral program when they cant even prove their value in the first place. read more
