Didn't buy from them so can't speak on the sales side of the dealership, but the service department here is an embarrassment. Try calling the service department any time of the day, I'll bet money nobody answers. How am I calling for 40 minutes back to back on a Tuesday at 2pm and nobody ever answers!? Same thing on Wednesday, Thursday. Really?? Anyway..I brought my brand new 22' Jeep Wrangler 4xe in for service on 9/6 due to a very heavy smell of gasoline every time I parked my car in my garage. This happened from day 1 of having my Jeep. Brushed it off initially since it was brand new and maybe I was exaggerating what I smelled, but friends even made some comments so I figured something is surely wrong. So brought it in and was told it could be up to a week. Also they had no loaners so I would need to go to Enterprise on my own and rent a car then submit for reimbursement through Chrysler. Great, did that and after a full week passed without any update, I called and started leaving messages, first for my advisor, then just anyone in the service department that could update me on my vehicle. I finally get in touch with my advisor who says the technician looked it over and wasn't able to smell anything but that he still hasn't put it up on the lift so maybe when he does he'll find something. I'm thinking 'ok so what exactly has taken an entire week if all that was done was a drive around the block + a sniff test?'. But he told me he'd call me the next day to update after the technician got it on the lift. No call back so after 2 MORE days I called and left a message for an update. Still no call. The following day, called and had some operator transfers me to a different voicemail so I left another message. So now at the 2 WEEK mark I'm fed up and ask for anyone there to please just give me an update on my vehicle. The dude that eventually called me says 'ok so looking over the notes it looks like they weren't able to recreate the problem or find a leak anywhere'. He then asks if he could have a tech drive my Jeep home overnight to see if they could recreate the issue, which I thought strange.. but reluctantly agreed to. The following day I was told 'nope, no smell sorry. Want to just come pick up your Jeep?'. When I went to pick it up, in addition to the 30+ miles it was driven overnight, it was filthy as if literally someone had gone off-roading in it. Mud all over the tires and splattered up onto the body. Nobody said anything to me when I got there. No 'thanks', no 'this is what we did', no suggestions for what I should do next. Just handed me the keys to my filthy ride and walked away. 15 days it took and that's what I'm left with. And to add insult to injury, the moment I got it home and closed the garage door I could immediately smell gasoline. So not sure where to go from here, but I know for a fact it will not be to Russell Westbrook in Van Nuys. read more

----Ran 9 hard credit checks against my account to retaliate for me deciding not to buy from them---- I walked in and told them exactly what my monthly payment budget was and how much I had to put down. They showed me a ton of cars out of my budget with the claim that they will work with me. After sitting down and giving the authorization to do a soft credit check the seller sent his manager over to chat with me. The monthly payments were more than double what we talked about. I tried to politely decline, but they were extremely aggressive. They held my car keys and basically prevented me from leaving. After I finally left. They ran 9 hard credit checks on my credit over the next 2 months. Please avoid this place. They are trying to take advantage of people through pushy tactics and selling things that they don't need. read more

We've leased a total of 5 cars from this dealership since 2018. 2 have been returned, but we are still leasing 3 cars (scat pack, 2022 jeep wrangler and 2022 Sahara XE hybrid). Went in to service a brand new Sahara XE hybrid for death wobbles and jeep shuts-off for no reason while driving- so far its shut off twice in the middle of the freeway PRETTY SCARY!! In the past, because we knew the staff, we were given loaners while our cars were in service, if they were going to be kept for a significant amount of time. Now they want you to call Mopar/Chrysler and arrange for a loaner yourself at the local car rental place and maybe, if they want, reimburse you for a rental up to $20/day. Last I checked, a $20/day rental gets you a Toyota Yaris maybe even less than this. Now that the staff we once knew, has since become none the smarter and moved on from this establishment, we are in unfamiliar territory. They are keeping the car between 5-7 days to fix the shut off and death wobble issue and we are out of a car until then. I can guarantee this was and is our last round of leasing from this dealership. Things to check when buying/leasing a vehicle; make sure they offer a loaner if you have to leave your car for service and make sure to add extended warranty service on your vehicle (brakes, oil change) and rim/tire warranty. We did this except, at the time their loaner service was better than before. One shouldn't have to know the pope to get "decent service". It wouldn't have helped in this case anyway. Side bar - 10:30am there were 2 salespeople on the floor and 1 manager. 2 of the salespeople were brand spanking new and wouldn't have been able to help at all. Service Dept. is always helpful and attentive, especially Hector, Benny, and Payman. They respond to texts, always answer questions and are very polite. p.s. the new manager for the sales floor is rude, uncaring, and has zero intention of being helpful. When I asked for the GM, he said "you can wait if you want, but it could be 10 minutes or 2 hours, but you can wait if you want". Well, being business owner's who's leased 5 cars from this place, I have better things to do than stand around and hope that maybe sometime soon someone will maybe show up to assist me. Stay away! Absolute Frauds! They will never see my Business Again. In November 2021 I Spent in excess of 6K to effect several repairs including the AC on Our Dodge Durango. The work was under warranty for one year. The AC had never worked well since the initial repair. We've taken it back several times. Now they want another 5K to repair leeks in the AC, that was never properly repaired in the 1st place and they are not honoring the 1 year Warranty issued from the initial repair. To add insult to injury Hector the head of the service Dept. was rude as he practically hung up on me. I am a business owner as well. if he worked for me he would be the 1st thing to go and their policy regarding honoring the warranty would be the 2nd. The service department fails to give proper information. Every time I go to take my jeep to get serviced they tell me a specific time and it never fails iam stuck waiting until they close. (Please learn how to communicate properly with costumers) I hate how they don't do appointments. Alex (one of the service members I got) told me my jeep would be ready in a couple hours and it wasn't I had to show up at 6pm. (Closing time) He said & I quote " we didn't wash your car cause you were so pressed on time" LOL I called 3 times to keep checking on my jeep since he kept giving me times throughout the day and they weren't ready. So I got no car wash and he made me walk all the way to the back gate to pick up my jeep didn't even get his lazy ass up to get my jeep for me. It's the lack of customer service for me. read more

I went to this dealership because it was the closest that had everything I wanted in the car I was looking for and thought it was a fair price. Boy was I wrong. Not only did they not try to give me a good price but tried to charge more then 10000 dollars more on stuff that they could have easily discounted me on. They left a bad taste in my mouth. That's not the worst part they didn't even help with trying to lower the interest or payment. Then they got mad because I did some inquiries on own to find out if what I was getting was a the best I was getting. Turned out it wasn't and I was getting screwed and over charged. Almost every car dealership experience is tedious and painful. I am considering that in giving Russell Westbrook's Jeep store this rating. Somewhat worse than others I've endured. I'm 54 and have purchased MANY cars over my lifetime both new and used. Bottom Line: I wouldn't go back here again and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Cons: - Typical sales force pressure "I'm gonna lose money on this deal" etc. - Aggressively force you to THEIR finance company (more on this later) - No call back the next day when I had a concern (calling them seems useless) - Lot VERY small (hard to park) and inventory NOT at the lot. After the incident at Rydell Dodge (head to their yelp page to read how awful they are), I felt like it was necessary to call Dodge directly and let them know what had happened. Over the course of the last few weeks, they have been less than helpful and downright hurtful at times. For context, I'm a transgender woman. My first phone call to Dodge consisted of them repeadely misgendering me over the phone. I asked to be transferred to a different representative. Two days later, they called me back and a much more professional and educated representative was given to me who apologize profusely for the way I was spoken to by their representative, as well as at the dealership. I explained to them that I did not feel safe driving my vehicle anymore and I also explained to them that the way I was treated at the dealership was completely unacceptable as well. They told me they would escalate this up the line and let me know when there was a resolution. They also suggested that I make another appointment to have the car looked at again asap, which I did at Russel Westbrook Van Nuys dealership. They gave me a two week appointment window. Within those two weeks in my correspondence with Dodge, they informed me that my complaint against the Rydell dealership was escalated, but ultimately decided no further action was going to be taken. Certainly feels like dodge couldn't give a flying .... at this point. This past Thursday, 6/6/24 was the day for my follow up appointment to have the accelerator looked at the Van Nuys, Russell Westbrook location, as advised by Dodge. I had the first appointment of the day at 8 AM. When I arrived, there was nobody there but me and a room full of staff. I walked in and was greeted by nobody as they all busily looked down at their phones. Not a very welcoming feeling. I approached one gentleman who tried to look up my information and directed me to who would be my "advisor" His name was Payman Arjang. Immediately upon approaching him, he put two fingers up in my face and signaled to me that he was on the phone with an AirPod in his ear. I was struck at how rude this was but being determined to get this fixed finally, I was polite and allowed him to continue his phone call. Without saying much, he went outside and plugged the diagnostic tool into my car while I waited inside for about five minutes in the awkward silence of the room. He returned still on the phone, handed me his personal device and asked me to put some of my personal information in, which seemed really strange. I couldn't really ask questions since he was on the phone so I did what he asked, and he took his phone back. He then asked me what I was there for, and I explained the situation to him. Without knowing much, he immediately told me he would have to have my car for 2 to 4 weeks. Aside from being rude, this person seemed to be combative with me for no reason. At this point after this crazy long saga with this vehicle, I was exhausted and just asked for my keys since things were tense and uncomfortable from the start here. I made it a point to ask for the manager as well. He just so happened to be sitting two cubicles down and overheard and saw the whole thing. I unfortunately do not have their name with me, but they were polite and apologetic. Regardless, that does not excuse the original advisors behavior. Nor does this get my vehicle fixed or give me any peace of mind whatsoever. At this point, I really don't know what to do with this dangerous vehicle. I'm certainly considering legal options. Allen was very calm and thorough during our sale transaction. They all made sure i got the car i truly like with a good Price. My experience was good, except i got to say that the assistant manager Selena (who answers to the General manager Raed due to the GM's busy schedule) is very rude, unprofessional and she expects the customers to thank her and not get a good customer back. Selena truly needs to understand customer service and learn not to argue with clients. I am not sure what type of profession she came from before becoming an assistant manager. BE AWARE!!! Complete scammers. Do not take your car for service here no matter what, i took my jeep there on January 17 of 2023 with a heater issue and been told that the car will be ready by February 20th. Then on February 20th (after over a month of having the car in the service) they called n asked me to come take the car without even touching the car, literally asked me to take the car without any issue solved. Already sounded like a joke but i had them keep the car until its ready since it is not safe to drive like that (windshield gets foggy from inside and i cant drive without defrosting it). Here we are in April already (3 months ever since i dropped the car off for service) and they still haven't touched my car. Haven't given me a rental car and haven't paid me a penny for a rental car even tho my car is a brand new car with only 6k miles all under warranty. I have gotten huge financial hit because of the way they treated me and my car and still have no idea if they will ever fix my car even tho they make sure to give me a new date for it to be ready every two weeks . The only person to blame for this chaos is the manager that's letting the employees work as they wish and not care at all about the customer thats paying load of money for them to be able to operate. I went to this dealership and asked them to program a trailer controller in the vehicle which should take no more than 15 minutes to do. I asked them for a quote and they quoted me $250. Basically what they did is insert a device and use an Android phone to turn on the setting in the vehicle. I agreed to the price because I needed it done immediately as tomorrow I am traveling and will be towing a heavy trailer and need it for safety. After approximately 30 minutes of waiting, they called me that my vehicle is ready. When I went to the service advisor, he was completely ignoring me while talking on the phone with another customer. I decided I will go into my vehicle to make sure it's working properly and to see if I have any questions. When I got to my vehicle, I noticed it doesn't work as intended. I went inside and let the service advisor know. He called the technician and I waited approximately 10 minutes for him to show up. When he did, he didn't even know what I am talking about or how to fix it. He started making phone calls and walking with me to other vehicles to see how it should work, which is when he realized that it is in fact not working in my vehicle. He finally called the parts department and it was confirmed that they didn't program it properly. Just to make sure it is clear, all the run around was a good hour of wasted time on my part as I was walking around with the service tech when he was trying to figure it out. I approached the service director and explained the issue. I also asked for a discount as 1) my time is valuable and something that should have taken 15 minutes too over two hours and 2) they didn't do their due diligence to make sure everything is properly working before charging me and before letting me go. The service director responded that he will give me $20 off. He didn't even bother apologizing or being sympathetic of the situation. He didn't seem to care. I then went to go pay. The guy who was supposed to charge me had me wait another 15-20 minutes to charge me. He said that the person who assisted me has to close the ticket and adjust the price but he is on the phone with ANOTHER customer so I need to wait. Seriously? Again? Mind you they simply needed to program an INSTALLED device. No installation was necessary. I was charged, given the paperwork, and left. No apology, no thank you, nothing. I paid $100 more for the same service that other dealers charge and was treated like crap. The service advisors only care for one thing - their commission. That's it! I would stay away from this dealership and go to Dependable or another location. Don't do the same mistake I did. They will charge you top dollar and give you horrible service. Just one more VERY important note: Should I have left with the vehicle assuming they initially programmed the towing brake controller properly, I would have towed a very heavy trailer with no braking system. Bunch of scammers. They sold me unnecessary warranty's that I was told would help get the loan approved. When I got a letter from the place that bought the loan they actually told me I didn't need to buy the extra warranty for the loan ( I guess a lot of shady dealers give this false information to customers. I went up there to cancel these unnecessary warranty's and they purposely cancelled my gap insurance. I've gone up there several times and told them I never asked for the gap insurance to be cancelled and had to finally call the company directly so they can reinstate it. I saw another review that said they run hard credit checks and they did the same with me after they said I was not approved. I did end up buying the car a week later but my credit was ran at least five times which I didn't not agree to. These people vengeful and petty. read more

Hi! Names Darwin Barrientos and I've been dreaming of driving a gladiator as I use to drive a small Cherokee which wasn't even 4x4. My Cherokee was jam packed with supplies needed for my business and it was becoming uncomfortable to drive! I work super hard and sometimes i like to get away! My cousin took me riding in his gladiator once and I fell in love with the adventure you can have in one. I was at russel westbrook cdjr just getting a part for my Cherokee, but I decided to ask one of the guys to help me find out more about the gladiators! I met David Alexander and he showed me the Mojaves available at the time. I felt like that wasn't the exact time to try to get into one as I was still paying off the Cherokee. Few weeks went by and David text me about some new Willy's gladiators in stock. I went to check it out and I fell in love with the look, tech, and off-road abilities of it but i was still hesitant because of the Cherokee. David and the folks at rwcdjr helped me upgrade into the new vehicle while helping me pay off the Cherokee. I am truly grateful for them as my life has changed in this month or so of driving the gladiator! I am able to ride comfortably with supplies and my employees. I am able to take on more business, and I have gone on three off road trips. One of which I took my pops and sister to. We don't come from much so being able to be on top of a mountain looking down to lakes and great views is truly refreshing. I highly recommend people submit complaints on the Better Business Bureau if they believe their experience qualifies for a complaint. I will be leaving one on BBB after I submit my review here and Google. This business, if you can call it that, does not not deserve even one star. They are a predatory, manipulative, fast-talking slimy dealership. What I will share in this review is not a new ploy by them, I see it repeatedly in the reviews on Yelp. The dealership adds on between 3-5k in "upgraded accessories." They do not advertise this in the price and only reveal it once you have already test drove the car, had your credit ran, and you are in the negotiation stage. This positions you, the buyer, in a state where you are relatively invested in the car and ready to only negotiate about a thousand off the price. Well the salesperson will bring you the price sheet and suddenly there are these extra charges. They explain that they can't not charge you for these extra things and after intense negotiation they may work out a deal to take one or two accessories off. These accessories are things like $995 for "Nitrogen filled tires" which, by the way, Costco uses to fill up your tires FOR FREE. In this process you are disoriented by the mall-like playlist that they have playing at summer pool-party level volumes and by a revolving line-up of consistently slimier personnel that get injected in your deal. You feel like you won because you negotiated two thousand dollars off, but you in fact paid $3k more than the original sticker price that brought you into the dealership. Their prices aren't even a steal. See image. I hope this illustrates their ineptitude. For me, their tactics weren't even the worst part. I was interested in a car that was listed online. When it was listed it wasn't available yet, but it was priced at $28k. I called to ask when it would become available and they told me the date. After it became available it was listed at $29k. I was shocked that it rose in price because it was never communicated to me that it might rise in price. If a car is not inspected, yet the price is subject to change it is entirely unprofessional to list a price. RED FLAG#1 After I was passed around to several employees I settled into speaking to one salesperson about the car, I explained that I confirmed that it was "bone-stock," I confirmed the price, and I set up a time to come into the dealership the next day explaining that I would be taking a day off of work and driving FOUR hours one way to arrive. At this point I had spoken to 4 people about this, apparently they like to play hot-potato with customers and it is difficult for a customer to get a dedicated salesperson. (At the end of my interaction I had spoken to about 6 people) RED FLAG #2 What I described above happened. The difference was that my father, a steady and cool-headed man, was with me and withstood their quick tongues and aggressive tones. Trust me, I would have started crying at the desk if it was just me. They wouldn't let us finance the car with our credit union. This is highly suspect. RED FLAG #3. Next, we told them "fine, we will write a check for the price of the car and then refinance through our credit union." The salesperson told us that we could do that if leave with their financing, but we can only refinance in 6 months. This meant that they wanted us to pay the car payment with their interest rate of 7% for 6 months. For context, our credit union offered us a 1.86% rate, there's no way we would pay a rate 3x higher. He told us we could not refinance immediately. That is very suspicious. They made BS excuses as to why we couldn't, luckily my dad is a guy who deals with contracts all day and knows that this is completely inaccurate. RED FLAG #4 After we walked out of the dealership someone from finance calls me to see if I came in today. I told the person that I didn't know how they knew I would come in today and she told me that "everyone in the finance department knew about my sale." Stupidly I ignored this statement and gave her my final offer, she said she would talk to someone and call me back. She never did lol RED FLAG #5 AND THE ICING ON THE CAKE is that when they took my dad's ID for paper work they never gave it back and we didn't realize till we arrived back home 250 miles away. They never called that day to tell us, and when my dad called to inform them, they didn't have the cell phone number of the sale person helping us. BRIGHT RED FLAG #6 I do not want a generic reply from the management to give them a call. That is clearly an empty attempt to assuage the viewers of the page and will in no way rectify the issues. Went in for a regular oil change and tire rotation, nothing major. Upon completion of the services, I drove off the lot. My 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 began to make a loud bang noise and drive a little strange. I pulled over and inspected the vehicle. To my surprise, one of my wheels was missing 4 out of 5 lug nuts. I was asked to bring the truck back, I was quick to respond, "No, it's not safe." they picked up the truck and took the vehicle back. The problem was corrected. Definitely do not recommend this dealership. Customer service is pretty terrible. Everyone's always running around so getting someone on the phone is impossible. They also have an "auto answer" on their phone. One of the great amenities of this dealership that allows you to talk to the air and listen to them in the background laughing with music blasting. I was not notified of any of their add ons and was told my total financing price was due to my credit score. Come to find I had an option for all these add ons. Took my 9k purchase to 13k. False advertisement when buying the car. I asked Peter the sales guy if there was anything wrong with the car and he failed to mention the speaker issues along with the damages on the car. Roxana was the one who blindsided me on the financing price making me believe it was my credit. Michael is the customer service manager and he seemed like he'd be the best to communicate with since he gave me his email after me having to camp out at the dealership to talk to someone about the issues I was having. Come to find he was just as rude via email, and had zero compassion for my frustration. He submitted my refund but only for maintenance and failed to refund me the rest I was blind sided on. Juan a sales guy called me to talk about the problems I was having and actually tried to talk me out of my warranty in order to refund my maintenance. Lol further trying to screw me. He had me fill out a paper and then ghosted me and never followed through with anything. Definitely go into this dealership with financing options already selected with a Credit Union so they don't screw you. Bring someone with you to help review their extremely confusing contract. Prepare to be there all day buying a car and all day after the fact. Prepare to have them attempt to solve your money issues with them telling you they'll reduce your payments if you send them more people. I understand that things are going to be a little harder with Covid-19 around...I totally get it... BUT when you call and make an appointment and drop off your car the night before so that you wouldn't be late for your appointment at 7:30am... Well...I kind of expected a call that day to discuss options for my car... Well guess what they never called to discuss my car. So I called them the next day only for them to put me on hold for over 15 minutes after telling me that they didn't have my car! I'm like what? I dropped it off the night before to make sure that they had it on time. They finally get back to me with another person and they ask me the same questions again... I'm like really? Seriously you put me on hold and then what go and help someone else instead if taking care of the customer that you put on hold?? So far looking horrible! Then they proceed to tell me... That they have been trying to call me since my appointment time the day prior. My next question is ok... Did you ever leave a Voicemail? "Uh well we did call you... I even personally called you. So I know we called you." Ok so answer the question... If you called me... Did you ever leave a voicemail?? Answer? Who knows because the guy would not give be an answer. He just kept on repeating that I personally called you so I know I called you. But right you guys never left a voicemail...uuummmm... Who's lying here? I know that I'm not lying... Since I never received a phone call... So I'm thinking they need to up their customer service game. Well since they that had the car, I was like ok... Let's just deal with it. They proceeded to tell me that it would take around $1000 to get the car fixed and that the car would ready of a few days. Well let's fast forward a few days... I never got a call! Go figure right? I guess I shouldn't really be surprised since there didn't even know that they had my car at the beginning, but seriously how do you NOT know which cars you have on your property??? I tried calling then to see when my car would be ready...I called them trying to see if they were going to stick to the quote or if something happen and if it was going to go up and yup... You guessed it. I was put on hold and got hung up on... And never got a call back from them. Did I finally get my car? Yes I did because I called them about 10 times and I finally got through enough to learn that my car was now costing around $1500...WOW 50% INCREASE from their quote and that my car would be ready the next day. So yeah I couldn't get through to get the time my car was going to get ready... They didn't call me to tell me that my car was going to cost 50% more then what they quoted. Can I say crappiest service ever? I was really blown away with the lack of service. Yes I know that it is Covid-19 time and things are a little harder but if you are going to keep my car for almost 2 weeks, at least have the decency to CALL and give me updates on my car. And oh yes... If you are going to CALL then leave VM as most people including me screen our calls. Yup... Never using them again. And if I were you...I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole. This place is not is NOT the place you want to buy your next car. They aren't up front and honest about what exactly you are getting. Ya, I know most car dealerships are aggressive. This one happens to be shady as well. I called to inquire about a vehicle, I asked specifically if the price of the car listed was the the price they were actually selling it for and the gentleman told me yes and to come on in. So we headed in. I should of known that within 20 minutes I had received a text from another salesman there and then another text from the person I was speaking to that this wasn't what I wanted. But, we continued to head there anyway. When we got there, we test drove the car, and then went inside so they could pull numbers. From $32,500 to now $48,000 I got up and headed out. They are asking us "what can we do to get your business". I proceeded to tell the gentleman that you broke the trust and we are leaving........... we should Have stuck with that. Then they took the added fees off, and proceeded to tell us that the original price is what they would do. After all this, and we were kind of in a hurry, the got us into finance and did all the paperwork and then gave the keys to to the car. Oh, I mean KEY! They failed to tell us on a 2022 car with less then 6,000 miles on it that it only had 1 key.......... Who does that? Why would we think there would be only 1 key?
