I came to Russel Westbrook's Jeep store in Van Nuys to do some comparison shopping as I was in the market for a new vehicle. Josh Alvarado was the first salesperson to approach me and introduce himself. I explained to Josh that I was looking at different vehicles one of those being Jeep Grand Cherokee. I also told Josh that I wasn't really ready to buy today, he acknowledged that and said we were free to look around the lot and if we wanted to we could look at some other cars that were located in different parts of the city including the lot at their Maserati dealership located down the street. Josh was never pushy and was very knowledgeable about the vehicles he showed me and gave me a ton of advice as to what to look for when purchasing a car. Towards the end of my visit Josh showed me white Grand Cherokee Limited X he had in an off lot. He took me there, let me drive it and between the drive of the vehicle and the awesome look of it - I was hooked. I asked him what he could do to help me get into that vehicle. We made our way back to the store and Josh really worked his magic by getting me into that vehicle at the price I wanted, the monthly payment I wanted and minimal down payment. I will try to be as much straight to the point as I can so no one would fall for their lies, I have leased an R/T two years ago from them, i was naive, I did a trade in for a brand new V6, and sorry to say the word but i have to, they stole 4 k from me cause i was positive on that car and they didnt tell me, I had it only for 4 months. They hire the most unworthy salesmen, I do get they want to make a sale but not to the point to make out lies of the engine power, torque and the car ability of the R/T to just make a sale, that is against work ethics, in fact they shouldn't operating the business till they hire honest people and investigate all the fraud work they do, the problem is not here, I went to place an order of a hellcat last month, and I was sure on the phone they can place an order for me, they did confirm. After placing the order they, sadly they called after three days saying that the wide body is not available, what a shame and waste of time. The refund of my deposit took 4 weeks, and the problem is not here. I have changed my mind completely on buying a muscle car, just two weeks ago I went to the mercedes and I chose a car to purchase, In able to trade in my R/T I will need to know the exact pay off to complete the trade in value and purchase the new mercedes . I called them and spoke to finance, guess what ? They weren't able, actually they didn't want me to buy a car not from them, they didn't give me the payoff amount, like a mob in the 70's, the finance manager literally said on the phone "you gonna buy a car not from us" like what the actual fuck ? We laughed me and the mercedes salesman, I couldn't believe its true, I was trying to get his name but he didn't reveal it. Luckily someone at the mercedes his aunt is a finance manager at dodge, In minutes I was able to know the pay off, happy I didn't do business with them again. Very shameful. Dealers like this has to be sued, If you wanna get a car specially from crappy dealers like this do your deep investigation, they suppose to be there to help people and make things easy for them. This dealership used to be called Van Nuys CDJR until it was recently purchased by Russell Westbrook, point guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder. The dealership still looks the same with a few exceptions. They removed the desks where sales people sit and replace them with couches. All of your sales transactions are done with you and your salesperson sitting at couch instead of a sales desk. There is also a basketball court inside the showroom where you can shoot around while you wait for your salesperson. Being a basketball fan, this was definitely a plus. We definitely took advantage of the basketball court. We visited this dealership to look at their Jeep vehicles. A salesman named Edwin helped us. He was very knowledgeable about Jeeps being a Jeep owner himself. He explained some of the features of the Jeep and shared some of his experiences with us. Very disappointing series of engagements with this dealership. After walking out on day 1 following what can only be described as aggressive negotiations from the sales team for me to buy unnecessary add ons as if they Have to come with the car very much out me off...... I was called by Selena as I was leaving (as they saw my sale driving off) who then agreed to wipe the unnecessary add ons off the overall price, which made me think, why did I have to go through a few hours of being messed around when I made it clear I wanted the car as the sticker described and priced it- nothing more, nothing less. I ended up arranging the transaction over the phone with Selena to avoid any further tedious engagement with the sales team and came back the next day and bought the car. The car had 45 miles on it and the was owned by the dealership previously so was essentially a new car. The final kicker that they just couldn't resist giving me was to only had over a single key after I had completed the purchase. This was a cheap and unnecessary move as we all know new cars come with two keys and especially dealer owned cars should follow that principle. Of course, I was told I'm welcome to buy the key from them but I will make every effort to avoid having anything to do with this dealership now. Why lose my business that would have included warranty purchase and lifelong servicing for a key that should have come with the car. That's what you get when dealing with petty unprofessional places like this. BEWARE - dealer installed accessories are not optional, and they are NOT INCLUDED in their "aggressive" internet pricing. They only get one star because their sales guy Anthony was honest with me before I drove all the way to the dealership. My story - I've been searching for a good used Wrangler Rubicon for a while now and I finally found one that had all the options I wanted. Only problem is I live in Central CA and it is a five hour drive to come look at it. After quick and courteous help from the internet sales team I decided it was worth the 10 hour + drive to buy this particular Wrangler. I made plans to take a day off work, found someone to drive down with me and contacted Anthony one more time to make sure the truck was still available and everything would be good. That's when he sprung the dealer installed accessories crap on me. $4,860 worth of accessories that according to their website can be purchased at an additional cost, except that according to the sales guy, it's not optional. He sent me the breakdown and a Wrangler listed on their website for $26,500 is now $34,340!!! Oh, and their "I'll see what I can do, just let me talk to my manager" quickly became, sorry there's nothing I can do. What a scummy way to do business. I guess when consumers got smart enough to start saying no to the crappy add-ons they used to push during financing, they decided to make them mandatory and hide it until the last minute. Bait and switch? False advertising? I don't know, but it makes me wonder what else I would have discovered later... hidden flaws on the truck that were not disclosed? Problems accepting my credit union financing? I almost never write reviews, but this prompted me to do it. So my app day comes I went to drop off my car only to find out they can't even look at my car for the problem that it's having because they only do "express work on saturdays" so I have to reschedule for monday ! witch is weird because I thought they are always booked up weeks in advance. So now monday comes I have to bring my newborn son with me to drop off my car because I don't have anyone to watch him. The service advisor is checking me in, went to get info from my car & to see if he can duplicate the issue I had with my AC of course he can't because it's when the car is being driven. So I leave my car & the advisor says i'll call you wednesday! two days to diagnose an AC problem, whatever I can't do anything about how slow they work. & btw they supposedly don't have rental cars to give, so i'm left without a car with a newborn. Luckily I get a call the next dat letting me know it's ready. Picked up my car drive it home and come to find I had a magnetic bumper sign stolen off the back and dirty front bumper scrap guards that are only for challengers & chargers left in my trunk. I was helped by Rayan. Great guy, honest and truthful, made sure I come in only after everything was set for me. Walid gave an amazing deal without me even having to negotiate it. I was asking for a certain rate and Walid came by himself with a better one. This is professionalism. To complete the experience, Gustavo, the finance manager, set down with me and explained to me every little detail in the contract and the financing, making sure I understand it all. UPDATE: Selena reached out and worked with me to fix my issues so I'm adding one more star just for her. Now I don't feel unsafe on the road anymore. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought a car from them about 3 weeks ago. The salesman, Jorge, was nice and removed the warranty packages I didn't want. His manager also increased the value of my trade-in to get my payments closer to where I wanted. All well and good. Jorge even asked me to write a nice review so he could get a little bonus which I would have gladly done had the rest of this not happened. The next day I notice that the tire sealant can in the trunk is all used up. Then I noticed that one of the tires is mismatched from the others (likely the reason the sealant was used up). It is wider, has a different wear rating, and there are a bunch of cracks in the sidewall. I don't feel safe driving on this tire and without a way to fix a flat. I texted my salesman but he was off the next two days. Not wanting to wait, I called the dealership, told them what I wanted fixed and they said fine and gave me an appointment the next morning. I got up super early before work to make the 7am appointment. Hector at the service counter told me he needs a 'due bill' from my salesman to do the repair but he kindly went ahead and ordered the replacement tire. I called Jorge, my salesman, on his next day back and told him the rundown. He said he'd get back to me. I texted him asking for follow ups the next two days and called on the third but couldn't get through. Not a single reply; even to this day. Sold me a car and ghosted me. So the next week I start calling his manager, Jonathan, and couldn't get through but I was able to leave a message. To this day, still no reply. Many more days go by and I call Josh, apparently the head of Used Car Sales, and leave a message. Guess what? STILL no reply. I'm still driving on the weird tire with no way to fix a flat in case of emergency, and the new tire is probably sitting in the service shop to this day. We ordered a Jeep Wrangler 4xe Sahara from Russell Westbrook Dodge Jeep Ram! First we met Jasmine who was super professional and friendly. After setting up an appointment, we came in to test drive it to be sure that that's the vehicle we wanted. Upon arrival to the dealership we met Danny and he showed us and test drove the Wrangler. He was knowledgeable of the product and represented the brand very well, never pushed a different vehicle on us or any markups like the rest of the market is doing right now. So, I drove all the way from Santa Monica to this dealership because they had the car I wanted. On the Cars.com they are advertising the car at MSRP of $41,675 and selling price of $34,508. I wanted to lease the 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T and I already was aware of the lease program such as Residual Value and the Money Factor. After driving the car, I was ready to get it. They brought their "First Pencil" selling the car for $47K on a lease and trying to make me pay for all of the sales tax upfront! Are we in New Jersey??? Last time I check we don't pay the full sales tax in California and it's monthly based. Long story short, they didn't want to sell the car anything less than 41K. I guess they sold too many cars that day. I feel like this is false advertising. I just don't wanna try to give them hard time because I can easily contact my family lawyer and sue this place and reach out to the GM, GSM and make a big scene about it and give them a lot of hard time. I had a very good experience at this dealership. Like with everything, realistic expectations and doing your homework about such a big ticket item will get good results. Vinnie Fasano was my excellent salesperson. He was patient and there was no pressure to buy the low milage Kia Seltos EX I found through CarGurus. I had looked at an identical car, but with a lot more milage and priced much higher, (MUCH HIGHER) at a Kia dealership. Also, Van Nuys CDJR gave me a fair price for my trade in, double what Kia offered. Again, if you do your homework you'll know what a fair price is for a trade in and the selection you're purchasing. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that when I got the car home I found one of the wheel liners was missing, something that you would not notice just looking at the car, but only looking underneath. I felt that should have been noticed when the dealership inspected the car. However, Adan in the parts department took great care of me and got the part and had it installed PDQ. On August 24th, I visited the Van Nuys Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership. I had already been to the dealership a couple of days earlier where I drove the vehicle. I went there (on the 24th) for the express purpose of making an offer based upon the sticker price as advertised of $31,455.00. What compelled me to compose this review is the establishment's profoundly DECEPTIVE approach to conducting business.   Their advertised sticker price for the car stands at $31,455--an amount I was eager to negotiate. But after I made my offer, my salesperson introduced a bewildering factor: dealer-installed accessories, commonly referred to as "aftermarkets." These additional elements amounted to an astonishing $4,480.00. Notably, these accessories were never disclosed as mandatory components of the purchase; nor were they mentioned on their website's fine print. The website clearly stated that these dealer-installed accessories "CAN BE INSTALLED" and hold no mandatory status. However, the salesman "Jose"- contradicted this by insisting they were mandatory- inflating the car's price to an exorbitant $35,935.00 exclusive of taxes and fees. Nowhere in their promotional material was this significant price hike--totaling $35,935--advertised. This blatant discrepancy is inexcusable, further exacerbated by their website's unambiguous declaration of the car's price being $31,455. Such conduct is not only deeply UNACCEPTABLE, but it also demonstrates an astonishing LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM. After an hour wasted in this disheartening encounter, I departed the dealership. I purchased a used 2022 Lexus GX460 from Van Nuys Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram on September 13, 2022. The vehicle has a deep scratch in the rear passenger door that goes all the way down to bare metal. Being that I was purchasing a used car, I overlooked other minor scratches but insisted that that deeper scratch be added to the due bill because it could cause rust. The sales manager, Badie Audish, agreed to pay to get this damage fixed. Since I do not live in the LA area, Badie assured me that I could have the work done near my home. He agreed to cut me a check for an amount equaling the average of the 3 repair quotes, which came out to be $1,528.74. However, when I provided proof of the quotes and requested that a check be distributed, they only agreed to payout the lowest quote amount, but only after I had the work done. After further discussion, they then offered to reimburse me the full amount, but again, only after the work had been done. I do not trust that they will reimburse me for the repair costs as they have given me the runaround for almost a month now. I've called, emailed and sent text messages to my sales person, Harry Merdinian to address this matter with no response. I spent $20,000 on a down payment with this dealership and they are refusing cover costs that were agreed upon in the contract. I will continue to pursue this matter until I receive the compensation I am owed. read more

I bought a Dodge Ram 1500 regular cab from Russell Westbrook in August. Since I purchased it, it has had many issues. From safety concerns like brake sputtering, battery dead, the kill switch system would engage for no reason, exhaust wasn't welded correctly from the factory and rattles, and also the entire u-connect entertainment system just had to be replaced. My truck is there right now getting all of these things fixed for the second time. I was told it could be weeks or months before the parts arrive. I have owned this truck for a little over 8 months, and 3 of those months, my truck has been sitting in your service department getting repaired. All while I still have to make $450 a month payments and $300 a month for insurance. Not to mention the many hours I've had to take off work just to get it looked at. So then last week I came to the dealership to literally trade in my truck and buy something new. Everything went fine until I was told my truck was only worth what I currently owed on the loan, $27k. I paid $35k for it 6 months ago.... Kelly Blue books has it listed as the lowest trade in value of $31-35k. When I asked him why they valued it so low, the manager just said that's what it was. When I asked to see what they used to come to that trade in figure nothing could be shown to me. Also for ALL of the inconsistencies I've had since I purchased the truck, I was offered nothing to help in any way towards getting something new. This experience has solidified to me, that the dealership was trying to take advantage of me. Sold me a truck that had issues, and then offered a ludicrously low figure to buy it back from me. I also called other dealerships in the area and had them create a trade in offer based on all my trucks info and vin, and wouldn't you know it, they all quoted me around the Kelly blue book price available online. So just to recap, I was sold a truck with numerous issues, brought it in and had them "fixed" in October, then when all the issues immediately came back, brought in back in over a monthb ago where it currently still sits. I was then lied too and told my truck was worth $5-7,000 less then it actually was, and when I asked for any paperwork and document on how they came up with that number, I was told they didn't have anything I could see. Which I know understand I was just being offered exactly what I owed on the truck, and was also told they were doing me a favor doing even that... I have been in executive hospitality management for 20 years here in LA and I am very cognizant of best business practices and customer service. I dropped my car off at 915am for an oil change and air filter change per my service contract agreement. I drive for my job so having an entire day where I am office bound is very difficult, however I was able to spare my afternoon today. By 5pm I hadn't heard anything from the service department so I called and was informed my car was done. Apparently no one thought to call me and let me know, and I was informed I needed to pick my car up by 6pm. If you're going to hold my car hostage for an entire day, you should starting getting us rental cars. An oil change should not take this long and if I wasn't stuck with the service contract I wouldn't even deal with them to do it. read more

If this was the only dealership that has the car that you want, I would still think twice or expand your search to find one further away. When you walk in, music is just blasting...not my cup of tea but maybe yours. Had an appointment at 2 pm for a test drive. Took over 30 minutes to have them retrieve the car to test drive it(in fairness, they did check in on us a few times letting me know that it was on its way). When we got to the sales part, I was very specific about what I wanted to pay. They came back with an extra $1000 down and $80 more per month. In addition, they tried to sell me on a $3000 package with low Jack or what ever it was. Explained that the car was being driven 8 miles a day and that i didn't need it. The manager said that they couldn't remove it because the price on the car was so good that they were actually losing money on the deal(lol). Basically with the numbers they had, they wanted me to pay $18,000 over the course of 60 months for a $9500 car...it was hard not to roll my eyes. After a few times going back and forth, the package could be miraculously dropped, but I kind of got sick of the persistence to sell me the package, and then saying that it couldn't be removed, to then admitting that it could be removed, that I decided, if this was happening 45 minutes into the sales process, what other crap are they going to try to pull...so I left. The salesman was very nice. Had good conversation with him during the test drive. He responded to my text after I left concerning lowering the monthly price, which they said, per the general manager, they could do a $2000 Down payment instead of $3,000. I thought about it, but the monthly was still too high for my liking. From walking into the dealership, to the whole sales process. It had been about 5 years since I had bought a car and for some reason I had assumed that the car buying experience would had changed, even slightly. It hadn't. Sending so much Love and Light to a few AMAZING souls at Russel Westbrook! First, ARA KALAIDJIAN who was the first salesman to greet me upon arriving to pick-up my JEEP. His attention to detail, ability to, and patience with answering all of my questions was literal genius when it comes to his knowledge about JEEP. As matters escalated, his manager, WALID BENTERKI was invited into my sale. He too ended up being a valuable asset to the overall work put into my sale. I shared with these gentleman how special this transaction was - as my custom Jeep's arrival ended up being the week of my mothers BDay (March 17th) and her passing (March 18th -2019). We thought, how is it that the delay for it's arrival would be that very special week? These kind hearted gentleman worked EVEN HARDER to get me THE BEST DEAL after realizing this. They kept their word. I also walked out of that dealership with better understanding in relation to investments and equity. Talk about going "above and beyond" I am forever grateful for that sense of community and family ARA and WALID provided me with. I was never made to feel like "just another sale". I also want to give a shout out to, JORDYN (spelling?) in finance and Ari who requested he assist me! Jordyn made a few adjustments to my monthly note and what he didn't realize was that the $316 resulting from the adjusted calculations are the numbers for a very special scripture tied to my mom. John 3:16. -- which talks about the "greatest" act of, Love. As I drove home tears of gratitude flowed as I felt a love that far passes our human existence overwhelming me due to such divine moments -as mentioned- with this transaction. This is the worst franchise car dealership I have experienced in my 20 years of buying cars. We agreed to a price for a Jeep in writing (text). I ubered to the dealership to consummate the transaction. They added $3,500 to vehicles price and line itemed it as a "dealer fee" that cannot be negotiated. I told their sales manager I have a deal in writing. His response was the person who provided the pricing to me was not authorized to do so, and therefore I would be subject to the new pricing. I feel sorry for whomever falls for this "sales" tactic. Needless to say, I ubered back home and purchased a Jeep from a competing dealership at a better price. Disgusting. As a Lakers season ticket holder, this just gave me one additional reason to dislike Westbrook. read more

Brought in my car to get the nitrofill in my tires. Spoke with a woman said I could bring it in at any time before closing to get it serviced at no charge. Drove 1 hour 20 min to get here arrived at 500pm and no one was here to service the car. Brought it here the next day 1015am took me 1 hour 45 min and they tell me there machine that does the nitrofill is busted. Spoke with Rogelio Espinoza or Espinola works the service desk did apologize and I requested that they if they added regular air that the next time I came in that they deflate the tire and add all nitro. He said they would and added it into the "notes" in the system and when I requested it in writing or a printout of it he declined and was acting like a a hole about it. I was polite and explained my reasons why I was not comfortable with just taking his word for it. Bad service overall with lack of knowledge from the woman we spoke with over the phone, and professionalism from Rogelio "Roger" addressing me as bro and speaking to me as if I was beneath him. read more

These guys give dirty car dealers a bad name! they play dirty games- work with at your own risk! tried to buy out the lease on my car - told me that I needed to come down to do paperwork but when I got there they intentionally made it difficult to use anyone but their lender at a much higher rate. The paperwork (which I had to fight to get) was just a simple sales contract for my bank (which they didn't even have me sign on-site so they could have emailed) and they didn't even want to give that to me unless I agreed to fill out an application for a "back-up" loan which I refused to sign for. The only reason they did give it was other customers on the sales floor were starting to take an interest in what was happening. FYI-- my bank financed in less than 48 hours, but now they again refuse to close this out unless I come in. They have a copy of my ID from the last visit, so can't claim this was a fraud issue. They also have my original lease on file. They also claim they only do things in person- nothing electronically so they can't fax, email or docu-sign paperwork to me. read more

Horrible dealership and service providers. I bought a new, 0 miles car, at their Mother's Day sale event; the vanity mirror visor lights did not work (apparently the dealership doesn't know those terms; these are the lights found inside the mirror when you pull down the visor) and since June 24th they said they would be getting them within the week to replace the ones in my new car so they function as they're supposed to. It's July 18th and they have yet to receive them, fix them, or even shoot me a text message or call to schedule this service. The assistant manager doesn't answer calls or text messages. The sales managers are usually never available. The sales rep answers my calls but is not in service so can't help with replacing non-functioning parts in a new car they sold me. This is after my car was in for three weeks on a roof rack install that was done incorrectly so now my car is missing an exterior part. I wish I would have chosen another dealership. read more

Shady at its finest. Bait and switch car, multiple misleading texts and calls. I went in on a Monday to look at a car that was listed for $3000 less than any other dealership around. When I got there, they conveniently couldn't find the keys. The next day, they told me it was available. I asked them to run my credit and I would come down and pick it up, and never heard back. Then on Wednesday, one sales associate text me and said it was not available and was sold the day prior, while another one emailed me at roughly the same time and told me it was available. These guys are complete scam artists. Be aware. They show a loss leader to get you into the dealership, and then pull the switch. read more
