Definitely do not recommend this dealership. Customer service is pretty terrible. Everyone's always running around so getting someone on the phone is impossible. They also have an "auto answer" on their phone. One of the great amenities of this dealership that allows you to talk to the air and listen to them in the background laughing with music blasting. I was not notified of any of their add ons and was told my total financing price was due to my credit score. Come to find I had an option for all these add ons. Took my 9k purchase to 13k. False advertisement when buying the car. I asked Peter the sales guy if there was anything wrong with the car and he failed to mention the speaker issues along with the damages on the car. Roxana was the one who blindsided me on the financing price making me believe it was my credit. Michael is the customer service manager and he seemed like he'd be the best to communicate with since he gave me his email after me having to camp out at the dealership to talk to someone about the issues I was having. Come to find he was just as rude via email, and had zero compassion for my frustration. He submitted my refund but only for maintenance and failed to refund me the rest I was blind sided on. Juan a sales guy called me to talk about the problems I was having and actually tried to talk me out of my warranty in order to refund my maintenance. Lol further trying to screw me. He had me fill out a paper and then ghosted me and never followed through with anything. Definitely go into this dealership with financing options already selected with a Credit Union so they don't screw you. Bring someone with you to help review their extremely confusing contract. Prepare to be there all day buying a car and all day after the fact. Prepare to have them attempt to solve your money issues with them telling you they'll reduce your payments if you send them more people. We were always greeted with a smile, professionalism, and friendliness. They went out of their way to make me and my wife very comfortable with the entire purchasing/leasing experience. I understand that things are going to be a little harder with Covid-19 around...I totally get it... BUT when you call and make an appointment and drop off your car the night before so that you wouldn't be late for your appointment at 7:30am... Well...I kind of expected a call that day to discuss options for my car... Well guess what they never called to discuss my car. So I called them the next day only for them to put me on hold for over 15 minutes after telling me that they didn't have my car! I'm like what? I dropped it off the night before to make sure that they had it on time. They finally get back to me with another person and they ask me the same questions again... I'm like really? Seriously you put me on hold and then what go and help someone else instead if taking care of the customer that you put on hold?? So far looking horrible! Then they proceed to tell me... That they have been trying to call me since my appointment time the day prior. My next question is ok... Did you ever leave a Voicemail? "Uh well we did call you... I even personally called you. So I know we called you." Ok so answer the question... If you called me... Did you ever leave a voicemail?? Answer? Who knows because the guy would not give be an answer. He just kept on repeating that I personally called you so I know I called you. But right you guys never left a voicemail...uuummmm... Who's lying here? I know that I'm not lying... Since I never received a phone call... So I'm thinking they need to up their customer service game. Well since they that had the car, I was like ok... Let's just deal with it. They proceeded to tell me that it would take around $1000 to get the car fixed and that the car would ready of a few days. Well let's fast forward a few days... I never got a call! Go figure right? I guess I shouldn't really be surprised since there didn't even know that they had my car at the beginning, but seriously how do you NOT know which cars you have on your property??? I tried calling then to see when my car would be ready...I called them trying to see if they were going to stick to the quote or if something happen and if it was going to go up and yup... You guessed it. I was put on hold and got hung up on... And never got a call back from them. Did I finally get my car? Yes I did because I called them about 10 times and I finally got through enough to learn that my car was now costing around $1500...WOW 50% INCREASE from their quote and that my car would be ready the next day. So yeah I couldn't get through to get the time my car was going to get ready... They didn't call me to tell me that my car was going to cost 50% more then what they quoted. Can I say crappiest service ever? I was really blown away with the lack of service. Yes I know that it is Covid-19 time and things are a little harder but if you are going to keep my car for almost 2 weeks, at least have the decency to CALL and give me updates on my car. THIS IS A ZERO STAR RATING! I have to give 1star in order to post. Came in for a for inside door panel and radio display repair... Both repairs under warranty. Car was dropped off at 7am and was told by Hector Herrera (the "Service" Mgr) that I would get a call for an update. 430pm comes... No call from them. I call to get an update. Hector tells me that the door panel and radio display are not available. I don't know how that takes 8hrs to find out that they don't have a part available but I digress. However the problem I have with these guys is "upon inspection" it was found that I need my front brakes and rotors replaced. $4000!!! WTF? 1. I never authorized any inspection. I came in to get some parts replaced. 2. Since when does a door panel and radio display fix-it job warrant a brake inspection? 3. I had an inspection done on the brakes less than 1000 miles earlier (we are in a pandemic and I'm working from home). ALL BRAKES GREEN RATED! Now all of a sudden my brakes need replacing? I call BS. 4. My car kicks up a lot of brake dust so I actually wiped down the wheels of all the brake dust before I brought the car in. I look at the wheels at pickup... NOT A SPOT ON THEM. How are they inspecting brakes and the wheels aren't touched? I didn't even get an inspection report from them suggesting replacement or anything. Again... I call BS. They didn't check shit. They basically went for a complete upsell on a job they were not gonna be paid for. That is complete larceny and completely unacceptable. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE TO REPAIR YOUR CAR! At the very least question everything and sign nothing til they show you what you need. After the incident at Rydell Dodge (head to their yelp page to read how awful they are), I felt like it was necessary to call Dodge directly and let them know what had happened. Over the course of the last few weeks, they have been less than helpful and downright hurtful at times. For context, I'm a transgender woman. My first phone call to Dodge consisted of them repeadely misgendering me over the phone. I asked to be transferred to a different representative. Two days later, they called me back and a much more professional and educated representative was given to me who apologize profusely for the way I was spoken to by their representative, as well as at the dealership. I explained to them that I did not feel safe driving my vehicle anymore and I also explained to them that the way I was treated at the dealership was completely unacceptable as well. They told me they would escalate this up the line and let me know when there was a resolution. They also suggested that I make another appointment to have the car looked at again asap, which I did at Russel Westbrook Van Nuys dealership. They gave me a two week appointment window. Within those two weeks in my correspondence with Dodge, they informed me that my complaint against the Rydell dealership was escalated, but ultimately decided no further action was going to be taken. Certainly feels like dodge couldn't give a flying .... at this point. This past Thursday, 6/6/24 was the day for my follow up appointment to have the accelerator looked at the Van Nuys, Russell Westbrook location, as advised by Dodge. I had the first appointment of the day at 8 AM. When I arrived, there was nobody there but me and a room full of staff. I walked in and was greeted by nobody as they all busily looked down at their phones. Not a very welcoming feeling. I approached one gentleman who tried to look up my information and directed me to who would be my "advisor" His name was Payman Arjang. Immediately upon approaching him, he put two fingers up in my face and signaled to me that he was on the phone with an AirPod in his ear. I was struck at how rude this was but being determined to get this fixed finally, I was polite and allowed him to continue his phone call. Without saying much, he went outside and plugged the diagnostic tool into my car while I waited inside for about five minutes in the awkward silence of the room. He returned still on the phone, handed me his personal device and asked me to put some of my personal information in, which seemed really strange. I couldn't really ask questions since he was on the phone so I did what he asked, and he took his phone back. He then asked me what I was there for, and I explained the situation to him. Without knowing much, he immediately told me he would have to have my car for 2 to 4 weeks. Aside from being rude, this person seemed to be combative with me for no reason. At this point after this crazy long saga with this vehicle, I was exhausted and just asked for my keys since things were tense and uncomfortable from the start here. I made it a point to ask for the manager as well. He just so happened to be sitting two cubicles down and overheard and saw the whole thing. I unfortunately do not have their name with me, but they were polite and apologetic. Regardless, that does not excuse the original advisors behavior. Nor does this get my vehicle fixed or give me any peace of mind whatsoever. At this point, I really don't know what to do with this dangerous vehicle. I'm certainly considering legal options. After refusing work due to price gouge wanting $400 to just top off my fluids before looking at defective transmission under warranty. Do not take your car for service here no matter what, i took my jeep there on January 17 of 2023 with a heater issue and been told that the car will be ready by February 20th. Then on February 20th (after over a month of having the car in the service) they called n asked me to come take the car without even touching the car, literally asked me to take the car without any issue solved. Already sounded like a joke but i had them keep the car until its ready since it is not safe to drive like that (windshield gets foggy from inside and i cant drive without defrosting it). Here we are in April already (3 months ever since i dropped the car off for service) and they still haven't touched my car. Haven't given me a rental car and haven't paid me a penny for a rental car even tho my car is a brand new car with only 6k miles all under warranty. I have gotten huge financial hit because of the way they treated me and my car and still have no idea if they will ever fix my car even tho they make sure to give me a new date for it to be ready every two weeks . The only person to blame for this chaos is the manager that's letting the employees work as they wish and not care at all about the customer thats paying load of money for them to be able to operate. I went to this dealership and asked them to program a trailer controller in the vehicle which should take no more than 15 minutes to do. I asked them for a quote and they quoted me $250. Basically what they did is insert a device and use an Android phone to turn on the setting in the vehicle. I agreed to the price because I needed it done immediately as tomorrow I am traveling and will be towing a heavy trailer and need it for safety. After approximately 30 minutes of waiting, they called me that my vehicle is ready. When I went to the service advisor, he was completely ignoring me while talking on the phone with another customer. I decided I will go into my vehicle to make sure it's working properly and to see if I have any questions. When I got to my vehicle, I noticed it doesn't work as intended. I went inside and let the service advisor know. He called the technician and I waited approximately 10 minutes for him to show up. When he did, he didn't even know what I am talking about or how to fix it. He started making phone calls and walking with me to other vehicles to see how it should work, which is when he realized that it is in fact not working in my vehicle. He finally called the parts department and it was confirmed that they didn't program it properly. Just to make sure it is clear, all the run around was a good hour of wasted time on my part as I was walking around with the service tech when he was trying to figure it out. I approached the service director and explained the issue. I also asked for a discount as 1) my time is valuable and something that should have taken 15 minutes too over two hours and 2) they didn't do their due diligence to make sure everything is properly working before charging me and before letting me go. The service director responded that he will give me $20 off. He didn't even bother apologizing or being sympathetic of the situation. He didn't seem to care. I then went to go pay. The guy who was supposed to charge me had me wait another 15-20 minutes to charge me. He said that the person who assisted me has to close the ticket and adjust the price but he is on the phone with ANOTHER customer so I need to wait. Seriously? Again? Mind you they simply needed to program an INSTALLED device. No installation was necessary. I was charged, given the paperwork, and left. No apology, no thank you, nothing. I paid $100 more for the same service that other dealers charge and was treated like crap. The service advisors only care for one thing - their commission. That's it! I would stay away from this dealership and go to Dependable or another location. Don't do the same mistake I did. They will charge you top dollar and give you horrible service. Just one more VERY important note: Should I have left with the vehicle assuming they initially programmed the towing brake controller properly, I would have towed a very heavy trailer with no braking system. Went in for a regular oil change and tire rotation, nothing major. Upon completion of the services, I drove off the lot. My 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 began to make a loud bang noise and drive a little strange. I pulled over and inspected the vehicle. To my surprise, one of my wheels was missing 4 out of 5 lug nuts. I was asked to bring the truck back, I was quick to respond, "No, it's not safe." they picked up the truck and took the vehicle back. The problem was corrected. I was told by multiple employees that upper management was aware of the situation and that I would receive a call. The call never came, and it was only addressed because I physically drove to the store. I dont even know where to start. What a disaster in every way and form, lies, deception, delays, and more. I made a reservation to take my jeep to this dealership 2-3 weeks before taking my car in. I had an antifreeze leak and needed to be looked at as this has been an ongoing issue with my jeep. I had advised them that the radiator and water pump were new as the previous dealership I took the car to replace the parts but it was still leaking. Once I took my car in, a week later, the dealership had yet to look at the car. They claimed they were busy, My agent was off, they didn't have staff, and the technician is busy. Why make me make a reservation 2-3 weeks before bringing it in and yet a week later my car was just sitting there? I called the dealership daily and was given the same runaround. Over a week later, a technician looked at the car. Yes, looked and didn't see a leak. I asked them if they ran the car and filled the car with antifreeze to find the leak and answer was no. I advised them again that 2 weeks prior, I had filled the car with 1/2 gallon of antifreeze and it vanished. I asked what they did and was told they looked and didnt see a leak. All they had to do is look under the car. They said they saw some stains and tried blaming me that spilled antifreeze. Sorry but I have plenty of pictures showing leaking and The liquid was spread all underneath the engine due to driving. I asked, did you start the car? No, its not leaking. So how do you assume it's not leaking? I advised them again to start the car, fill the radiator and reservoir with antifreeze and watch. What do they do? A pressure test of the radiator which took a day or 2 and of course, it's normal. Note that they yet to start the car, let it run or drive the car. Once again, I alliterated that they have full permission to do whatever needed to find the leak. 2 days later they pressure tested again to find nothing. I asked what is happening to the antifreeze and they said, maybe the car is burning it, False. I see and smell the antifreeze leaking and once coolant runs low, fan runs loud and the check engine light comes up. They advised me that they did see the engine light come on and it was the thermostat. Yes, that is true. When the car is out of antifreeze, the light came on every time. . Note that all this time, I have Mopar warranty and everything is covered. 3 weeks later, they told me, my battery is dead and I need a new one. They need to drive it. I asked how is that possible as the battery is new, the car has been there for over 3 weeks by now and obviously if they claimed they were working on the car, it was working. They tried selling me an expensive battery. I said nope, not gonna happen. At this point, I assume they left my strobes on and killed the battery. What do you do instead of calling the customer, they pulled all the wires from all the strobes, and till today nothing works. I have to rewire everything soon. They charged the battery and Magically, my car is still running without any issues 2 weeks after I picked up the car and has been sitting the whole time as I have been out of town. So, obviously, I never had battery issues but it was neglect on their end. My car was there for over 1 month. Leak was not fixed. Strobes don't work, and battery has no issues. Manager was no help. Agent was no help. I would never go back. I honestly do not think they made the proper attempts to find the issue I have. I was charged $100 for the deductible of the warranty. I called them so many times and I was going around in circles until I told them I need my car and picked it up. They always claim to not see a leak, bla bla bla without even attempting my suggestions of placing cardboard under the car and looking. Why did it take 4 weeks to do nothing? My best assumption is that they wanted my car to sit there to bill the warrantee and the second assumption I have is that I didn't ask for a loaner which I should have. Lesson learned. Also, if my engine was burning my coolant, wouldn't you offer to fix it. Nah. Why should they. Maybe it was too much work. I went in for a reason. Usually, one would expect some sort of guidance. They had my car for over a month and got no where. They didn't even care to see if the car was burning antifreeze per their assumption even after they said it is bad if it is. I do want to give credit Armen. He was awesome. He cared. He was polite. I wish I dealt with him from day one. I am afraid to take my car back to this dealership again. What can go wrong next time. What wires will they cut or disconnect because they might have triggered a switch and not ask how to turn something off? Its pretty funny how all my strobes no longer work and all had different wirings. Someone had a field day disconnecting wires. Yet, I was still charged $100 deductible which was worthless. This place is not is NOT the place you want to buy your next car. They aren't up front and honest about what exactly you are getting. Ya, I know most car dealerships are aggressive. This one happens to be shady as well. I called to inquire about a vehicle, I asked specifically if the price of the car listed was the the price they were actually selling it for and the gentleman told me yes and to come on in. So we headed in. I should of known that within 20 minutes I had received a text from another salesman there and then another text from the person I was speaking to that this wasn't what I wanted. But, we continued to head there anyway. When we got there, we test drove the car, and then went inside so they could pull numbers. From $32,500 to now $48,000 I got up and headed out. They are asking us "what can we do to get your business". I proceeded to tell the gentleman that you broke the trust and we are leaving........... we should Have stuck with that. Then they took the added fees off, and proceeded to tell us that the original price is what they would do. After all this, and we were kind of in a hurry, the got us into finance and did all the paperwork and then gave the keys to to the car. Oh, I mean KEY! They failed to tell us on a 2022 car with less then 6,000 miles on it that it only had 1 key.......... Who does that? Why would we think there would be only 1 key? So initially, I was pleased with the quick dealI I made when buying the car. I also noticed how the sales man told me that I will be receiving the survey and if I could give him a 10. He told me that if I had any issues with the car to just call him and give me his cell phone number. He had reached out to me couple days later to check up on how the car was doing and to get a piece of information that he had forgotten to get from me. A couple more days later I noticed that there was a Minor body issue. So I texted the salesman to ask him if I could bring it in to be fixed. I waited two hours with an appointment for them to tell me that they have to order the part. I actually had to go up to the counter and inquire if it was almost done when the guy told me. O yes, its ready. He, had initally told me they were going to call me when it was ready. so, I have a feeling I was sitting there for over 2 hours for nothing. As I was saying goodbye the service department guy told me the same thing that the salesmen told me. I will be getting another survey for the service department and if I could write him a 10. My view on this survey is if you do a "10" job you don't have to tell someone to give you a 10. Side note: when I was waiting for that 2 hours there was an all out drama concerning a disgruntled customer. It was an elderly lady who was out of control.The cops came and it was an all out seen. Although, I enjoyed watching some action I did not enjoy watching how most of the staff had their cameras out filming her and laughing. It seems to be making the situation worse.I understand filming a scene when you're on your own time or as a bystander. But, when you'r at work it Doesn't look good.Very unprofessional. And what was even worse about it was before the cops had shown up it had seem to go on for at least an hour. No managers or supervisors had the situation under control at all. Also hear one employee say to another "you see this is what goes on over here on this side of it" So, from his statement it seems that this is a common problem. which makes it look like they are doing something to enrage their customers. Shady shady shady. Over the course of the next six months of owning my new car I had several problems with the body. Turns out they covered up a scratch or dent with paint. Needless to say I was in and out of this dealership getting work done to my brand new car for one reason or another. The whole experience ended up being shady shady shady do not go here. My first time here was a breeze. Customer service was on point. I felt welcome. What I can attest to is that the facility is kept cleanly. On the other hand, this is not the most welcoming place. There should be someone ready and available when you pull in for service, so you're not just left awkwardly sitting there. Due to Covid, there should be a product that strictly enforced masks, but instead-- it appears to be optional. If I wanted to, I could probably take my mask off and walk about like it's all good when in retrospect, it's clearly not. Once checked into my appointment, it would be cordial in the least to direct patrons to either their designated waiting areas, or at least asked whether or not I need a ride. The manager we dealt with here is the WORST. No customer service skills whatsoever. There's a reason why there are so many negative reviews mentioning the same thing... because it's true. Storytime... My husband had his eye on the Jeep Grand Cherokee for some time and after doing some research he found a model he liked at this dealership. The price listed was originally $28,000 when we first saw it. After reading some reviews online about addendums/accessories add ons raising the prices significantly my husband reached out to them. He didn't want to waste his time going to the dealership if they were going to sell him on things he did not want or need. In the email he expressed his concerns regarding the addendums and the customer rep reassured him by saying they can remove them completely. This emailing back and forth took about a week. By the end of the convo we decided to book an appointment to come in and see the car with the price $28,000 with no addendums in mind. After my husband test drove the car, he decided he was interested and wanted to discuss pricing in further detail...where it all went downhill. About 3-4 days right before we went into our appointment we noticed that they raised the price of the car to $31,000. However, since we made the appointment prior to that price change and had agreed on $28,000 with no addendums so we didn't think it would be an issue. Our sales rep was trying to sale it at the new price of $31,000 (before addendums) but we mentioned that it was $28,000 when we first saw it. Then our sales rep explained how they often market it at a lower price just to get your foot in the door. Luckily my husband had taken a screenshot to back up what he was saying. The sales rep asked that we texted him the screenshot so he can show it to his manager. After, we didn't talk to our sales rep again. His manager came and directed us to his office. Right away he was condescending and rude. Asking us why we didn't come in right away when the car was priced at $28,000. So we explained that we did not come in right away because we were discussing the price over email to which we made an appointment once we came to an agreement, or at least what we thought was an agreement. We then expressed how the price changed just a few days right before our appointment. Then the conversation continued as so: Manager: "Fine. I will honor the $28,000 with the addendums." My husband: "We had agreed before no addendums." Manager: "I can sale this car easily for $31,000" My husband: "If so, then why has the car been on your lot for over 4 months?" Manager: "Well before it was more difficult because of Coronavirus but it's a different time now." Me: "I don't think Coronavirus is over....everyone here is still wearing a face mask."...also this was the same day the Mayor started closing down bars/beaches again lol. Keep in mind while he offered to honor the $28,000 he tried to push addendums on us without fully explaining them. These add ons were thousands of dollars more. Some of which were high security alarm system and paint protection. They installed these alarm systems on their cars because the dealership is located in an unsafe neighborhood. Regardless, why would we want to pay for something that we have no use for. They want to protect their merchandise at our expense. Even if he honored the $28,000, with the addendums our total cost was about $37,000! During our conversation he did not leave room for us to negotiate at all. All he did was asked us about our other options. Trying to be metaphorical by comparing a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit and a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland to apples and oranges. Long story short he clearly has no customer service skills when he couldn't even look at my husband throughout the whole discussion. Instead he kept looking at me as if I was suppose to say something to ease the situation to which I reminded him that my husband was buying the car not me. After his Coronavirus statement fell irrelevant and he ran out of sales strategies, he literally just got up and left without saying a word lol. 5 minutes later he comes back and says we can't reduce the price anymore so obviously we left. However, it was less so the price that made us left but more so how we were treated. I can understand if the price cannot be negotiated anymore but a person in his line of work should be professional and not rude to a potential buyer. Especially since we did not come in rude whatsoever. If he was at least nice and was willing to explain to us the breakdown of everything then we still would have considered buying. Their customer service is really poor. Whenever I call for anything I get bounced around to different voicemails. No one has ever returned a phone call. I get my oil changed there because it's included in my lease but I often wonder if they actually do anything. The fluids are not replaced. I had a broken handle on the inside of my car and it was part of a recall that I was not notified about. I asked if they could fix it. They were unable to at the time and said they would order that part but didn't. Update: seriously the WORST customer service. I have called to follow up on a part that was supposedly ordered 3 months ago and there is not a single note in my file about it. I spoke with Tanya last week and she apologized and said she would get back to me by Thursday or Friday last week and of course she did not. I waited several days to give her time but when I called today I can't get a hold of her and of course get passed on to someone else who said there is no mention in my file and no part has been ordered. I wouldn't give 1 star. By far the worst car buying experience I've had. This was Tuesday or Wednesday week after Memorial Day. I found a Wrangler they had online, tried to call the number few times & no answer, rang & rang. Called Service & someone answered saying all but three of their sales team called out for the day so he transferred me to internet sales where I set up a test drive appointment for the specific vehicle later in the day (4+ hours advance notice) & told them I was driving from 1 hour away. Everything setup & they told me who to ask for when I get there. We show up after driving the long distance & downtown LA at normal rush hour traffic time. It immediately gave us both bad vibes. Felt like a used car lot with a sketchy vibe, but we thought we're there & not everything is as seems. Stood around front reception desk waiting a couple minutes & no one acknowledging us. Had to walk into finance to get someone's attention. Asked for who we were told & were given to a different guy who was nice but seemed a little overwhelmed (understandable if short staffed). He said the car was the last of that edition they had (which I confirmed on Jeep.com) & someone had a lease deal for it over the weekend but backed out when presented with the extended warranty & such (addendums). I didn't think much of it as I was purchasing rather than lease. In our trip we never once saw the associate we were told to ask for. He said he had to get the car from the storage lot. We stood waiting for a half hour. Turns out the storage lot is 6 miles away (in traffic). Car wasn't even on the lot for the appointment. Frustrating. He then pretty much gave us the keys & he'll get our DL's later. It was uncomfortable & felt like we were stealing rather than test driving. We didn't feel like we could really go enjoy the ride or experience it because we felt like we had to get back quick so no one thought we stole it. We got back & couldn't find him for another 15 minutes or so. I was ready to talk numbers. He finally shows up in another vehicle for another customer & said he'd be right there. Another 10 minutes we finally sit to talk numbers. We sat and talked for two minutes bc a mgr kept interrupting him & not acknowledging us or apologizing for the interruption trying to get him to go do a task. The salesman wanted to sit and sell us a car (kudos to him). I told him I previously ran numbers at another dealership & was approved for a certain APR (which is true). He was shocked & estimated at least a full % point higher with them. This tells me they don't have much buying power &/or don't use good lenders. 2nd time the mgr comes over, pulls him away, & the salesman tells us another salesman would help us, apologizes & left. In maybe ten minutes, other salesman was helping about 3 other people & came over saying he'd be there in 5. I'm now irritated & debating if I trust them with my business & any car needs/issues I might have down the road if I even purchase from them. The family beside us starts exclaiming how ridiculous this is, & this is the 2nd time they'd been here & like this both times, all waiting, no help. This told me the employees calling in was probably BS & they were likely working bare bones staff & spinning the story rather than just up front & honest. Guy finally came over & told us a mgr was coming to which I replied "when?" He said right now. Five minutes later mgr finally comes over. We start to talk numbers & I bring up addendums (ext. warr. GAP insur. LoJack). He seems reluctant but said they have $3500 addendums & are required. So we could have spent an hour haggling just vehicle price for them to throw that in at the last minute. Which I never would have purchased. I had already visited & talked to several other dealerships that had great selections, OPTIONAL addendums (not uncommon), & $2000 addendums. At this point I'm pissed, a complete waste of time which I firmly express to the mgr, & walk out , wishing good luck to that family. I don't know the law, so they may not be textbook illegal "bait and switch" practices, but they're low & shady, disrespectful, & not forthcoming. We then had to drive all the way back home after wasting all that time. My opinion, they don't want to sell cars & don't care about customers, or try. I believe they want you to sign a contract w/o caring if you comprehend or can afford it. I wonder if you buy from them, what the customer service on the purchase is down the road. Then seeing the reviews on Yelp, it seems pretty accurate & common. It's telling w/the overall manager Vikas (not who I dealt with) responding to negative reviews only addressing reports of illegal business practices but not addressing customers experiences. My Dodge Durango is in for service because a part broke in the transmission. The auto stop/start is broken and the AC is also broken. I think I've got a lemon!The car is only 3 years old. Came in to purchase a used car and got the true "used car lot" experience. If that's what your into, this is your place. If not, go elsewhere. The as advertised price did not include the dealer add ons, which included $3k of high margin accessories that I would never purchase (including $500 for nitro air in the tires). They refused to remove the accessories and honor the online price and provided a high interest rate (higher than other financial institutions offer, with a mandate to use their financing). Wow, what an awful experience trying to buy a car at this dealership. As someone who has purchased probably 10 new cars in my life, this had to have been the most unscrupulous dealership ever. You will find better business practices at "Vinny's Used Cars." My partner and I walked in today fully intending on buying a new Jeep Wrangler. We liked the vehicle and were even fine with the price as listed. How rare is it that a buyer is OK coming in and paying the advertised price without haggling, well that was us!!! As expected they appraised our trade-in (another jeep) and undervalued it leaving us $1,700 in negative equity. However, it was our lucky day! Jeep was willing to pay off any negative equity to get us in the new car. Fantastic... After telling us this the salesman goes back to finance and comes back with a piece of paper and says, "well, the Jeep you just looked at is listed at $37,000, but it has $4,700 dollars of added accessories, so the actual list price should be $41,700, however, we are willing to waive everything but"...wait for it, "$1,500, because this jeep has an added alarm." I told the salesman, the advertised price is $37,000 and that's what we expect to pay, the fact the car has a $1,500 dollar alarm system, that coincidently nearly off-sets the $1,700 in negative equity they were going to spot us on the trade-in, isn't my problem. The salesman, of course, understood the frustration and went back to finance. I told him we were not paying an extra $1,500 over sticker for an "alarm." So the finance guy comes over and aggressively asked what the problem is. I explain we are ready to buy this car, but the addition of the phantom and previously undisclosed "alarm" feels underhanded. He explains that because of their high volume, every car has to have an alarm and tracker installed, and its something he can't negotiate on. I tell him everything is negotiable and he says, not the alarm. So we left, merely out of principle. As I said, we were willing to make a purchase and thought their price was fair, but when they came back and tried to say the advertised price of the car wasn't the actual price, it felt nefarious. When I told the sales guy he should have just added the "alarm" price to the list price thus making an honest advertisement, he said, "the website doesn't allow us to do that." Again, I am just dumbfounded by that statement. A place this poorly run doesn't deserve my business and it shouldn't deserve yours. Don't waste your time, find another dealership! Because all of us are working from home and have plenty of time, I will for sure be filing something with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) that highlights their deceptive advertising practices. Also, I am now noticing a comical number of 1-star reviews, most of them for this very same practice. If you are considering shopping here, please read through these reviews, they are all very eye-opening. If you list a vehicle for $37,000 but it has a $1,500 alarm, then list the vehicle at $38,500. It's really that simple. Don't waste people's time, come back an hour into the meeting and say, "oh, yea, we forgot that car has an alarm, so it's actually more than the printout we presented to you!." I recently purchased a TV, it was $999.000 (plus tax). When I went to the register the cashier didn't say, "oh, is that the $999.000 TV? Yea, that one comes with a digital tuner that's not listed on the box or the advertisement, so it will actually be $1,200.00." Ironically enough, this dealership wants to pass to each customer, the price of a $1,500 "tracker" that they use to "locate the vehicle on the lot." However, on our visit, we spent the first 45 minutes driving around the valley looking for the vehicle! The salesman couldn't find it. I just received a statement recently from my previous leasing bank and they are charging me the excess miles and termination fees that Giovanni (sales manager of course no longer works there) promised he would take care of if I purchased the new Jeep. I went in on Friday and they made me wait for over and hour and a half then asked me to return on Monday today just to make me waste more time as I waited for almost 45 minutes for someone to acknowledge me only so they can tell me they weren't going to honor the agreement.
