Cynthia first she was great she tried to help me get approved but then i ended up telling her once I get a good down payment I will contact her. A week later another dealer , Amir, texted me and said WHAT CAN I DO TO GET YOU A VEHICLE and so he got to work and ended up getting me approved for 21K car loan which is fine I had a clear understanding of my bad credit. Then came the next day i asked him IS EVERYTHING GOOD AND READY TO GO and he stated YES JUST WAITING FOR YOU TO COME IN I was having transportation problems then finally said I am about to make my way over then there was a stop he told me to wait a little longer but he kept reassuring me that he will get it done and will let me know when to come in. Hours went by and he STOPPED communicating to me stopped texting me didnt answer my call. I have personal issues that have to be resolved with a vehicle so this was very important to me. Do not tell a customer they are approved then the next day just drop them and leave them in air without any type of communication. I was told that either a can negotiate the price or the standard options already installed in the car of $4k they would need to charge me per Josh Alvarado. I purchased a jeep and signed all the paperwork, come to find out the VIN number was incorrect. had me waiting for hours. Also, Anthony sale person said that the extra car key was in the glove compartment (lies) I let him know that it wasn't he said no problem I will get that order for you. ( lie) I followed up with him few days later, and he simply text me back " call the service department". I don't like to write negative reviews but today was the day that I as a consumer need to speak up and share my horrible experience with this dealership. First, I want to say thank you to Tyler our sales associate, he is straightforward and we are happy to have made a deal with him. My wife and I decided to purchase a 2014 Scion FR-S car.. things were just fine until I went into Mirna Garcia office (finance manager). She was nice and polite at first but when we decided to decline all the extended warranties her demeanor changed!!!! And she started just literally just throwing copies of all the paperwork at me, she was in such a hurry to get me out of her office. I didn't bother to tell her manager but I must tell each and everyone of you get your financing somewhere else like a credit union and don't deal with such a bad professional. If I could give a lower yelp review than one star I honestly would. This place should not be in business. They have good inventory of vehicles but horrible sales people and associates on staff that make buying a car a horrible experience. I purchased a certified pre-owned Jeep here in January of 2020. I found the vehicle online via Car Gurus. Made an appointment to come and tour, no problem. Once I arrived in person for my appointment, literally everything went wrong. The person who I scheduled the appointment was not available or out, so I waited about an hour. Then I was given to another associate to make rj sale. I am very familiar with Jeep Wranglers, wanted to do a test drive to make sure there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. At first the dealership could not find the vehicle that I came for, once they found it, the pricing was completely wrong. We do the test drive, no issues with the car. I know I wanted the car, so I pulled up my pre-approval offer from my bank. This is where it got so complicated and annoying. By now at least 3 hours have passed. The sales person was nice, but English is not his first language so he was not comprehending exactly what I was asking so I asked to speak with someone else to make sure they understood why additional charges were being put on the car that I did not ask for. The other sales person explained that well the dealership isn't making any money off me since I will be financing through my own bank so I can't remove those option features/packages. The dealership assumed I had no intention of making a down payment so tried to make money in extra features which is wrong. It literally took me saying do you not want my down payment for the price to be dropped to the accurate price it was listed as online. The sales associate held my buyers package for hours. Literally HOURS. And when you're trying to find your sales associate it's like 20 others on the floor because they are money and sales hungry, so it's hard to find your exact sales representative. By the time Finance got my package to do the approval and sale, it's now 8 pm. I got to the dealership at 3 pm. That doesn't take 5 hours. So we leave to get food, and let them figure out whatever they need to because by now I'm hungry and over waiting. Come back from dinner car is ready to go. There were things that needed to be done on the due bill, (remove the hub cab locks) but maintenance had left for the day so I scheduled to come back in a week when I brought the check from my bank. When I return the dealership acts confused why I needed anything done to my car, when it was in writing on the due bill. After demanding to have my car done because I could not come back another day they finally did the work on my car required, and agreed to at the point of sale. In the beginning of March before everything shut down, I received a call from my sales person saying my smog needed to be done and my car wasn't registered. So I travel back to Van Nuys, which is 30 miles away. I understand COVID-19 happened and operations were challenged, but I bought my car in JANUARY before anything shut down. The dealer never ordered me license plates. They were to be mailed to my house. So in April when my paper plates are supposed to expire, I have none and I call the dealership and ask to speak to the DMV consultant, she says just request lost plates myself.... I didn't lose the plates, the dealership never ordered them. I can't go get them myself because COVID has closed down the DMV offices and AAA offices where this could easily happen. So I fill out the forms and email them back to her at the end of April. It is now middle of June and I still have no registration or license plates. I call and email the consultant, she rushed me off the phone and says she will call back. Never does. So I call on my own, because not having license plates, let alone expired paper ones are ground for pull over in the middle of COVID and the unrest I do not need that. I am a Black woman. The DMV consultant says she never ordered my plates, it's her bad. Then is snappy and BEYOND rude when I ask so why were they not ordered then hangs up on me. Honestly, this entire process was horrendous. I still don't have license plates. I love my car, but I honestly wish I never bought from this place. I went to this dealer to get a Jeep Wrangler , talked to the guy he gave the deal i wanted, we test drove the car, we were there for 5 hours already very exhausted when it came down to the financing this guy came and said that all the banks rejected us and the only one that accepted adds more than $100 to the deal. I went to the dealership today to purchase vehicle and to support a Black owned dealership. The experience was a very poor discriminatory practice, as the salesman had actually nothing to do with the deal. The finance manager came up with a deal on a $32,000 vehicle with $5,000 down at $800 a month for a 600 Score. He was rude and lied and said that Ally, whom I had just completed paying off a 7 year loan in 1.5 years denied the deal. During these times I felt it necessary to support our black businesses, but learned that it may be owned by them, but they have no time or no idea of how these businesses are being run and the practices that are going on. Oh! They list the vehicle at 32,000, but fail to list the additional $4,500 for an over priced alarm and air in tires. The most noticeable thing about the entire event, was the only black employee that I saw was a young man who's job it was to drive salesman and victims to the additional lot. I purchased a vehicle from Russell Westbrook back in July of 2022. I was sold 2 additional packages which requires additional payments monthly. The first was a tire package and the second was an interior stain protection. I unfortunately got a flat 2 months later. I did not have any literature on either packages. I then proceeded to call the dealer to get any information. I tried for about a week and not a single person in the finance department would answer. The operator after our first conversation began to ignore my calls by sending me to voice mail. This dealership only cares about the sale and does not care about any follow up after the sale. !!SO MANY OF THE STAFF WERE NOT WEARING MASKS!!! I dropped off my Jeep for servicing on Friday May 29 at 3pm. It was PACKED!!! The guy at the entrance of the parking lot, leaning down to the driver level to direct people were to park was not wearing a mask. He did have one around his neck though but not on his face. The guy that helped me in the servicing department also had his mask around his neck. During my appointment, 2 other staff members came out to ask him a question and both were not wearing masks. I thought this was insane so I leaned my head into the showroom. I immediately saw a group of 3 staff members talking to each other.. all NOT wearing masks! I'm bleaching the SH#T out of the inside of my car when I get it back as I can only assume the person working on my car will not be wearing masks. Totally not OK. I was mentally preparing for about 50% of the general public walking around the dealership to not be wearing masks but did not think the staff would be that irresponsible. Got my Jeep in March of 2020 right at the start of the pandemic. I was hesitant due to everything shutting down and the uncertainty of what was happening. One of the negotiation tactics the salesman used was that if I got the car he would offer free oil changes for the duration of my lease. He offered 4 services to be exact. I thought that was a generous offer, so I accepted it. The information he withheld was that the oil changes had to be used in the first 2 years or they expire. I went in today for service and of course the dealership said, "oh yes you have used 1 of your four services but the three remaining all expired 3 months ago. So now you pay $250 per service". This was a shady shady tactic. I got my last car and this car from Westbrook. This will be my last one. They lost life long customer for something so small. For me it wasn't really about the money. I had made an appt and still had to wait over 1.5 hours to test drive the car because the person helping us was also helping 3-4 other people at the same time. Once I finally drove the car and was interested, the manager came over and said the internet price was not the actual price and they had to list it that way to compete with other dealerships (that is complete crap). They said the actual price was $6,000 more. Absolutely insane, super shady experience. Run, don't walk AWAY from this place! I ended buying a car the next day at Bob Smith BMW in Calabasas. What an appalling and furious experience with their service department. I made an oil change appointment a week in advance. Scheduled for 9am, with traffic delays I arrived at 9:30am. The service advisor, Payman Arjang, tells me that they need 3 to 5 hours to do the oil change. Shocked, I asked him why and he said there were many cars ahead of me. I agree to leave the car with them but before I do, he tries to sell me additional service routines ranging from $200 - $500. I decline. I return at 2:30pm and see that my car is just exiting their service garage. I go inside to tell him that I see my car and ask him to confirm if it's ready. Without making eye contact with me he tells me he's "waiting for the paperwork". Another 10 minutes pass by and he tells me it's ready. Without receiving any paperwork from his attendants. As I leave their service office he gives me the most fake, nonchalant "have a nice day" line. I gave him, his entire staff and their service manager a well-deserved piece of my mind. They are either overbooking their appointments or do not have enough techs working during their service hours. Incredible that they need 5 hours to do an "express oil change". Id be weary with these guys. I called agreeing to purchase 100k TRX. Upon getting the numbers, they sneak an additional $4k in "aftermarket taxes" which is bogus. Mandatory GPS tracking, total care paint and fabric and nitrogen filled tires? Then when I refuse to pay, they tell me theyll remove only if I use them as financing. Meaning they are skimming % off the APR from lender to make even more money. Msrp on that truck is already 87k, meaning invoice somewhere around 81/82. 18k in markup and getting greedy? Say no more, I will not do business with someone who lacks integrity and clearly is all about greed. I buy 4-5 cars a year, so im not naive. Please read this, and when they tell you you were only approved with Cap one or another lender, call bs. They are taking more money off the top. I gave up coming to service my Jeep here immediately after I leased it 4 yrs ago when I couldn't even get them to answer the phone during business hrs. Let alone do any good work. They constantly try to upsell you on "maintenance" that you didn't come in for... that is if you can even get thru to make an appointment. I started going to the dealership in Glendale even though "van nuys" is 5 min from my house. I can back today bc I needed service and I wanted to test drive the new 4xe models as my lease is coming to a close. Mike in sales is a delight!! I showed up to my 10:30 appointment. Was ignored for a while. When I finally was introduced to my service guy he said "ok. Give me the key and we will call you in 3-5 days when we've had a chance to look at it" WTF I promptly said "you're not even going to look at it for 3-5 days? Why would i drop it off today? that is information you need to tell people when they make an appointment" His reply was "you should have asked" Needless to say I took my keys back and will take it elsewhere. *yes i asked for a loaner. They "don't do that here" *he also told me I should do roughly $2,000 worth of maintenance based on my mileage. When I asked what items I needed to do to be compliant with my lease he said "eh none of them" Wow. Glad I saved myself $2k, 5+ days with out a car and all the BS. Sadly I loved the 4xe Cherokee. But I'll likely go back to the Galpin family of dealerships bc their service is impeccable. And any time I had to drop my previous car off for more than an hr they immediately handed me a loaner. Second attempt at buying a car from this dealership and again was disappointed-texted back and forth with both a sales rep and manager, agreed upon a price with sales manager (GM approved and documented via text). Showed up to the dealer the very next day, check in hand as I said I would, only to be met with ludicrous counter offers. The sales manager on duty told me that there was no record of conversation or approval by GM (he reiterated the whole conversation even though he said there was no evidence to support deal). This dealership continues to practice shady business tactics. It is not right to lie and deceive your customer base, shame on you for wasting my time-car was not ready, it ran out of gas as it has been neglected and I had to wait about an extra 30min for them to figure out how to acquire some fuel. Keep these dealers empty people, don't buy from these thieves. I brought in my 2023 Jeep to replace a side view mirror. My car does not have anything automatic, they quoted me almost $1000, I asked why $600 for labor for a simple mirror. They said because they have to take the door apart and do the wiring. There is no wiring for my car, and you definitely don't have to take the door apart. When told there is no wiring they said well it's $300 an hour for labor. We bought the mirror ourselves for half of what they would have charged us and did it ourselves in a half hour read more

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!! I spent about 10 minutes with James solely discussing for them to ONLY do a SOFT inquiry, after they requested it. I repeated probably like 10 times I do NOT want them to do a Hard Inquiry. For those who don't know, soft inquiries do not appear on your credit report, while hard inquiries do and can cause your credit score to go down. I asked James if he is SURE they are not going to do a Hard Inquiry and that it would ONLY be a soft inquiry and that it wouldn't go on my credit report. James reassured me each time that it was only 'INTERNAL' and that they wouldn't be sending it to the banks. That it was only a soft inquiry - that it was NOT a hard inquiry. He also had stated that banks were closed at 9 so they wouldn't be able to check for financing that day. I get home half an hour later to see that not only do I have 1 hard inquiry, but I have 5!!! I have been working on my credit for 6 months due to my financing bank for my first car closing the gap insurance account that I was paying for instead of claiming the money and then misreporting that I owed them that money when they should have collected it from my GAP insurance. I hired a credit repair company that successfully removed some hard inquiries that shouldn't have been there; including, a prior dealership 2 months prior that did a Hard Inquiry without my consent. But they only did 1. Alfa Romeo in Van Nuys did 5!! Moreover, they did 2 from the same bank and 1 from a bank that I had already done a pre-qualification for (soft inquiry) and I was denied. So there was no sense in them doing a hard inquiry from that bank when I was denied with a soft inquiry! Plus I had already gotten pre-approved (soft inquiry) from a partner bank of that same bank prior to coming in. Before coming in I only had 2 hard inquiries on my Experian account. Now I have 7!! I'm dealing with legal issues regarding my 3 small kids and haven't seen my daughter since last February in person when the father started using Covid as an excuse to not bring her. He continues violating prior set court orders that he signed for. Buying an adequate car and renting a better place to live are the two most important steps I've been working on achieving for months to be extremely well prepared in order to go to court and get custody of all my kids back. They are suffering and even being abused at the moment. I'm sure my daughter wonders every day where I am as she has not seen me or been able to talk to me for 17 months! I've accomplished fixing some of the things on my credit report in order to be approved for a car and to rent a place to live. And now Russel Westbrook Alfa Romeo is making me backtrack and delaying me even further from seeing my daughter and being with my kids! I can't believe the immense betrayal! For James to smile in my face and just lie to me like that. As if I haven't already had enough of that betrayal these past few years in order to get to where I am that my own daughter doesn't get to see her mom for such a long time. I am so upset that I'm crying. They are ruining any future potential in me purchasing the car that fits my needs and me accomplishing my goals. I intended on finally buying the car this week after all my hard work and months of waiting. Now let's see what I'm going to have to do. There is NO way I'm going to wait another 30 days or more to get these hard inquiries removed and another 30 days to buy a car. There is NO WAY I'm going to delay my daughter from seeing me for an additional 30 days on top of the legal procedures we're going to have to go through. I DID NOT WORK THIS HARD FOR MY KIDS AND GET THIS FAR JUST TO HAVE SELFISH & UNCARING EMPLOYEES AT A DEALERSHIP WITH A MAJOR LACK OF EMPATHY AND NO REGARD FOR OTHER HUMAN BEINGS TO RUIN IT FOR US! Made an appointment with Josh (Used Car Manager) to sell our vehicle to them and possibly go over some trade-in options. Once we arrived he took us straight to the showroom and gave us the paperwork to sign LITERALLY RIGHT AWAY, didn't give us options or explain the process, he had the biggest attitude when we asked me what our options were besides selling the vehicle.when we asked him question he got annoyed and literally left: We were shocked, never seen or been treated like this. We asked if someone else in the dealership could assist us with trade in options, once we went over all the options we decided ti just sell it. They called Josh back so he can help us sell the car, he was back but he literally lowered the price he promised to give for our vehicle saying our wheels were old: ok so how did the price change after 1 hour? This place is a joke. I called to enquire about a Challenger and after that kept getting continuous calls, texts and emails. I read many negative reviews on Yelp about them but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Saw a 2019 Challenger R/T advertised for $26k, of course they said they'd help out but the price was higher, then after getting denied I get an email about the same exact car and the price is dropped AGAIN!! First they asked for $7k down and then $12k down BUT he said it didn't ask for a down. Makes no sense what so ever.
