EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!! I spent about 10 minutes with James solely discussing for them to ONLY do a SOFT inquiry, after they requested it. I repeated probably like 10 times I do NOT want them to do a Hard Inquiry. For those who don't know, soft inquiries do not appear on your credit report, while hard inquiries do and can cause your credit score to go down. I asked James if he is SURE they are not going to do a Hard Inquiry and that it would ONLY be a soft inquiry and that it wouldn't go on my credit report. James reassured me each time that it was only 'INTERNAL' and that they wouldn't be sending it to the banks. That it was only a soft inquiry - that it was NOT a hard inquiry. He also had stated that banks were closed at 9 so they wouldn't be able to check for financing that day. I get home half an hour later to see that not only do I have 1 hard inquiry, but I have 5!!! I have been working on my credit for 6 months due to my financing bank for my first car closing the gap insurance account that I was paying for instead of claiming the money and then misreporting that I owed them that money when they should have collected it from my GAP insurance. I hired a credit repair company that successfully removed some hard inquiries that shouldn't have been there; including, a prior dealership 2 months prior that did a Hard Inquiry without my consent. But they only did 1. Alfa Romeo in Van Nuys did 5!! Moreover, they did 2 from the same bank and 1 from a bank that I had already done a pre-qualification for (soft inquiry) and I was denied. So there was no sense in them doing a hard inquiry from that bank when I was denied with a soft inquiry! Plus I had already gotten pre-approved (soft inquiry) from a partner bank of that same bank prior to coming in. Before coming in I only had 2 hard inquiries on my Experian account. Now I have 7!! I'm dealing with legal issues regarding my 3 small kids and haven't seen my daughter since last February in person when the father started using Covid as an excuse to not bring her. He continues violating prior set court orders that he signed for. Buying an adequate car and renting a better place to live are the two most important steps I've been working on achieving for months to be extremely well prepared in order to go to court and get custody of all my kids back. They are suffering and even being abused at the moment. I'm sure my daughter wonders every day where I am as she has not seen me or been able to talk to me for 17 months! I've accomplished fixing some of the things on my credit report in order to be approved for a car and to rent a place to live. And now Alfa Romeo is making me backtrack and delaying me even further from seeing my daughter and being with my kids! I can't believe the immense betrayal! For James to smile in my face and just lie to me like that. As if I haven't already had enough of that betrayal these past few years in order to get to where I am that my own daughter doesn't get to see her mom for such a long time. I am so upset that I'm crying. They are ruining any future potential in me purchasing the car that fits my needs and me accomplishing my goals. I intended on finally buying the car this week after all my hard work and months of waiting. Now let's see what I'm going to have to do. There is NO way I'm going to wait another 30 days or more to get these hard inquiries removed and another 30 days to buy a car. There is NO WAY I'm going to delay my daughter from seeing me for an additional 30 days on top of the legal procedures we're going to have to go through. I DID NOT WORK THIS HARD FOR MY KIDS AND GET THIS FAR JUST TO HAVE SELFISH & UNCARING EMPLOYEES AT A DEALERSHIP WITH A MAJOR LACK OF EMPATHY AND NO REGARD FOR OTHER HUMAN BEINGS TO RUIN IT FOR US! In my 35 years, this is THE FIRST EVER THAT IM WRITING A BAD REVIEW! I've already left Alfa Romeo in Van Nuys a voice message to REMOVE the Hard inquiries from my credit report ASAP!! Let's start at the beginning--December 2024--when I found myself stranded because the battery in my Fiat 500e key fob died. Simple fix, I thought. Replace the battery, and I'd be back on the road. Not so fast. Replacing the battery should have solved the issue. Instead, my original Fiat 500e key fob inexplicably disabled itself. Was it from swapping the battery? Who knows--Fiat apparently doesn't. I scheduled an appointment at Russell Westbrook Van Nuys Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Fiat Service Department. I was informed it would cost $350 to reprogram my original key. Outrageous. I asked what a brand-new key would cost and was told "around $250." Fine. I paid approximately $280 for a new key, which had to be special ordered. Two weeks later, I received a call that the new key had arrived. Eager to finally drive my car again, I headed down to Russell Westbrook Van Nuys Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Fiat. And that's when I was hit with the next surprise: The $280 key I had just paid for couldn't do anything until it was programmed--for another $350. I was stunned. Furious. Why wasn't this disclosed when I bought the key? Why is a key sold in a non-functional state with no clear explanation? No manager stepped in. No one apologized. No one even tried to resolve the miscommunication. I took my unprogrammed $280 paperweight and left. Fast forward seven months. I finally decided to get the key programmed. I scheduled another appointment for 10 a.m. I arrived, dropped off my car, and was told it would take about 90 minutes. By 10:58 a.m., I received a call--confusion over why I had three keys and only one worked. I calmly explained: one working spare, one original dead key, one brand-new unprogrammed key purchased from them. At 11:45 a.m., I got a second call. Still confused. I returned to the service department and explained everything again--how I had previously paid for the new key and was now trying to get it programmed. A manager was brought out. He asked how the "new" key was programmed if both other keys were "disabled." I explained again that I had swapped the housing on the new key, but the electronics remained unused and needed programming. Then came the kicker: "We can't program a disabled key." So let me get this straight--Fiat designed a key fob that can disable itself simply from a dead battery or from being stored too long. And then, rather than resolving the issue, this dealership tells me my only option is to buy yet another $280 key--and then pay another $350 on top of that for programming. That was the end. I lost my patience. I expressed my anger--justifiably so--and the manager, rather than taking any responsibility, declared he would "not be disrespected," as if my fury was somehow out of bounds after months of incompetence and nearly $700 in unresolved key issues. He instructed the service rep to "get the paperwork" and send me on my way. That was it. No solution. No effort. Just a dismissal. Here's what I've learned: * Fiat/Chrysler has designed a car that can strand its owner over a dead battery in a key fob. Even the mechanical key won't help you start the vehicle without functioning electronics. * Russell Westbrook Van Nuys Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Fiat Service Department will happily sell you an unprogrammed key, fail to explain critical costs upfront, and then charge you an additional $350 just to make that key work. * If anything goes wrong, don't expect help, transparency, or accountability. You'll get none of the above. I have completely lost confidence in: * Fiat's engineering--for designing a key fob this fragile and critical. * Fiat's customer experience--for failing to provide even the most basic failsafes. * Russell Westbrook Van Nuys Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Fiat Service Department--for their stunning lack of communication, problem-solving, or basic professionalism. ****SCAM ALERT**** ****DO NOT BUY FROM HERE**** So I leased a very nice Maserati Quattroporte from the auto gallery Maserati. I have had nothing but trouble with it since the start. In all fairness, the service advisor, Yohana, was outstanding, but the service Director, Joe, was extremely unprofessional, very unhelpful, and just plain terrible. I brought the car in for service because the USB cables don't work and I am unable to charge my phone and I'm unable to use CarPlay. As I am constantly on the road, I need my vehicle to be reliable and for the charger and USB to work. That is not much to ask, especially when you take into account how much I have paid and continue to pay for this car. I use my vehicle for work and drive it extensively, I need to have all parts of the car that I'm paying for working correctly at all times. I've had to bring the car in multiple times for the same issue, and other issues, yet again, and have been going back-and-forth with their service team nonstop. They have had my car for over two weeks now and I came in from Orange County today to pick it up and the problem is still not fixed. Before I drove off, I tested the USB port to see if it actually works. It did not. I used my lightning cable and my telephone and it failed. I had the service advisor use his cable and his own phone and it failed yet again... It failed multiple times. When I asked him why he was about to let me drive off without having fixed the problem, he simply had no real answer. When I told him that we needed to get it fixed, he told me to just come back another time. I told him that would not be acceptable and that we needed to get the manufacturer involved. At that point, he told me that their telephone systems were down. I then told him to email the manufacturer, at that point he told me that their Internet was down since 8:39 Am (I was at the dealership around 3:20 pm). How on earth can any automobile dealership operate without telephone or Internet??? This is absolutely unacceptable. This type of service is beyond ridiculous. I cannot believe that in this day and age where customer service is such a primary focus of any business, these people can treat their customers so poorly and not care at all. I have had nothing but trouble with the vehicle and this dealership. Their service is awful. If you are at all in the market for this brand, I absolutely urge you to save yourself the headache and go anywhere else. For me to drive all the way in from Orange County, under the false perception that my vehicle has been fixed, and have this happen to me, is not only ridiculous, but it completely ruins my day! I have a business to run and cannot be running back-and-forth from into this terrible dealership. Multiple times now I've had to waste a full day of work just to deal with this nonsense. We discussed the numbers through messages, and I was given a clear total buyout price before coming in, including what I would owe in cash. Everything seemed set. When it finally came time to pay off the vehicle, I was directed to Van Nuys Maserati to finalize the process. There, I worked with Selena, who then introduced me to Gabriel when I arrived at the dealership with the full amount in cash, ready to pay. To my shock, once I was in the office, they suddenly added an extra $3,000 to the agreed-upon price, claiming it was for "taxes on top of taxes." This extra charge was never mentioned in our previous conversations, and it felt like a last-minute money grab. After nearly a year of planning, this was incredibly upsetting. From my point of view, this wasn't just miscommunication--it felt like greed and dishonest dealership practices. I had the money ready to pay off my car, but they tried to squeeze more out of me at the last second. Bottom Line: If you're planning a lease buyout at Van Nuys Dodge or Maserati, be very careful. Had a great experience from the beginning. Product specialist, Michael was very helpful and responsive from our the initial website inquiry and I am glad I was able to work with him. I let him know I was in contact with another dealership but his quick response time is what got me into the dealership. He made my decision making process very easy and very comfortable. He is very calm and collected which I respected because he was open to my wants, needs and feedback without any judgement or push points. I personally do not like the pushy kind of salesmen who tries to make decisions for you so the environment he put me in was great. Everyone involved was great including his manager who followed up with me a few times and finance manager, Aram. They were very invested in my needs and made it happen! They got their sales and I got the car I've had my eyes on! The only thing that could have went better was the knowledge of the car like the features, etc. I purchased a 2019 Toyota RAV4 so I understand Michael is probably most familiar with the Maserati's but it would have been an added perk. UPDATE: After getting in contact with Swan and Evelyn, they were willing to hear my concerns and went to extra lengths to ensure I was happy with my purchase. All outstanding concerns were addressed and resolved and they were great to work with and were very responsive. I now understand extenuating circumstances affected my initial review but all has been made right and they'd have my business again in the future. Purchased a vehicle here 10 days ago, I live out of state and once the contract was signed I've been ghosted by the dealer. They added $13k in hidden warranties and fees, GPS, all which the car had in the first place, without discussing it with me first and now I can't get ahold of them to remove it or transfer the vehicle to me. If you buy a car, make sure it's in person and you check everything, otherwise you'll not be able to get in touch with anyone and they'll add a bunch of 'extras' to your contract. read more

I bought my Maserati at Maserati of Van Nuys last year.  When I bought the car, I got only one key.  The salesman told me the car is from the Beverly Hills branch, and that I need to go to Beverly Hills to pick up the keys (Poor service to begin with).  I went on a Christmas vacation and a month later went to Beverly Hills dealer just that no one knew who I was, and Obvoiously the key nowhere to be found.  Many requests to the dealer and telephone calls to sales manager Erin were ignored.  Very poor level of service and so disappointing.  Btw, I love my car!  Now, a year later I lost the key the only Key.  They are charging me $2000 For 2 keys. That is after a "20% discount" seriously!  Think about how crazy it is to pay that much.  I'm seriously considering taking them to small claim court. read more

It appears it is a coupon for self wash .... haha .... man you have got to be kidding.... And this is a high end auto brand. Really?
