As we were leaving he offered his business card and told us that he would work on it after hours if we couldn't find another shop to work on it. They stopped to ask if they could help, AND they actually could. We drive a Subaru which can be quirky, but luck for us, one of them drives a Subaru also. A rodent had chewed through the transmission fluid line. They diagnosed the problem on the side of the road. They called the Subaru dealer in Traverse City to make sure they had the fluid and parts needed, drove into Traverse City to get the items and returned to fix our car. We had already called a tow truck which took us to their shop. They fixed our car promptly for a reasonable cost and we were on our way. This was a month ago and our Subaru is humming along, just as it should. They are nice, knowlegeable guys and a good addition to this area since the next closest shops are in Traverse City and seem very busy as no one in Traverse was able to take us same day. Seek these guys out. They do cars, trucks and farm equipment.
