Just not a good pedicure. They didn't clean my nails. I still had fuzz under my nail when they were "done" and I had to point out that that they didn't clean under my nails and then they halfass cleaned under my nails. There's was still some fuzz when I left. They also didn't fill my toe nails before applying the gel polish. When they were "done" my big toe nail was all jagged from being cut and I had to point out that my nail went to a weird point. They tried to argue with me and said my toe goes to a point... yet all my other nails were straight across. Very strange experience. I have had many pedis other places and never had one as bad as this. Also over priced af for the mediocre/bad service. Will not be returning. read more

Enjoyed my manicure and pedicure but the bottom of my gel manicure was separating from the base of my nail bed within 1 week. I have never had such a short duration manicure. They also charge a 4% premium for using credit card. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place although everyone was nice the lady didn't do a great job with my nails. I got a gel nail polish they turned out streaky and not very even. One hand she filled shorter than the other and some nails aren't filed straight across. Unfortunate but for the price $37 without the tip I wouldn't go again. read more

I've been to several popular salons in the area and Van's is my new go-to. Kelly gave great recommendations and admitted she was picky about her work, which means she cares about the results, which I love! The atmosphere is relaxing, bright and very clean. I was greeted right away and when I was seated, a basket with the colors to choose from was set next to me so I could browse through them without being rushed (not my experience at some other salons). I opted for an ombré pink and white gel with a little sparkle and I LOVE them! I'm not going anywhere else and highly recommend Van's. read more

I came in here with my friend on a Sunday & they only had 2 people doing nails. She told us it was gonna be a 20 minute wait and we waited about 30-45 min. She started to do my friends nails and never even acknowledged that I was there... then after an hour or so she asked me what color I wanted. Horrible service from the manager herself. We both selected the fire walker package (also most expensive) and did not get what we paid for. I emailed the shop to confirm what all the steps were, initially they were very responsive, but I haven't heard back. Spending almost $200. I often feel many nail salons rush and don't really listen to what you want. Sometimes I even feel like I'm inconveniencing them by being there. Not Van's! I had to bring my baby with me. They were not only okay with it but worked quickly so we could get the visit done while he napped. When he woke halfway through, they helped me be able to use my hands to get him to calm. Just obvious attention on the customer. I watched others in the salon receiving services as well, and they were all treated with attention to detail and kindness. It is also clear that they care about appearance. VERY clean, high quality materials and decor. Vans is definitely my new go-to. read more

Boy I wish I would have looked at the YELP reviews instead of google because these are more accurate. Van does a great job at nails but she is extremely rude and unprofessional. I had been seeing her for months and not once was she on time for a single appointment, she is always 15-30 minutes late. She has no regard for your time and will sit on her phone texting and talking to people making others appointments instead of doing your nails. Never in my life have I had fills take almost 2 hours until I started coming here. I get a basic fill nothing fancy at all no way this should take this long. Yesterday I let someone else do my nails (because Van was late yet again, in the back eating or something) and my nails are so ugly an none of them are the same shape! 2 are lifting and it has not even been 24 hours!! After wasting $60 yesterday, today I get to pay a different nail salon to take these horrible nails off and redo them. It is funny because the first visit to this salon they did a horrible job and I came back in gave them the benefit of the doubt and let Van fix them... I should have never come back here. It has been 3 days and one of my fingers still hurt from the cuticle trimming. Also got a bubble in one of my nails. The upcharge of 4% for using credit card is annoying. The salon itself is beautiful it's very busy and they have more than enough staff so that you don't have to wait. However the man that done my nails did not take the time to make sure that the acrylic was even at the final stage of Doing a complete full set and I Requested that my nails be short and tapered And he repeated that back to me twice and I confirmed both times Yet my nails were cut short and square. 1) I got a pedicure and the nail tech thought it would be reasonable to lay my nail clippings on top of my foot. Yuck! I had to tell her not to do that. Use a friggin towel to set them on. 2). I had a manicure on a Tuesday and by Wednesday polish was already chipping off. When I returned to get it fixed, Van told me polish only lasts one day. Also, the manicure was a very sloppy job which Van would not even look at. She has a very bad attitude and could care less about customer satisfaction. I will not return. read more

I went here yesterday for getting a pedicure before my wedding. I though I'll give it a shot, one of my friends recommended it since they just opened and she's been there for nail services. I'm getting married on Saturday 8/18. I got a ice skater pedicure, I believe. It was $47 plus the cost of gel. Just for a pedicure! So I am sitting there and the lady is scrubbing my feet with this really hard sponge, I believe a pumice stone. And literally she's scraping away my skin. She dips my foot back in the water before I could look and when she takes it out again I'm actively bleeding. Now this isn't a big sore, but it hurts. Got lotion and all the scrubs put on it and the lady noticed it and asked what I did to hurt myself!? I was just shocked I said I didn't know. I didn't catch her name, didn't get an apology (at the salon, I did get an apology later on facebook), didn't get a BAND-AID!!! And still ended up paying over $60!!!! I love the nail color, but I am so upset that now I have to worry about a sore on my foot less than a week before my wedding. It's about a dime size. I'm so upset, I'm so sad, and I will not be going back. I don't have a receipt because they didn't even bother to give me one. And honestly I just wanted to get out of there. 0/5 stars. Pay over 60 dollars for a pedicure and end up with sores and active bleeding. I posted this on their facebook and the owner remembers me and will give me a gift certificate, but honestly I don't want to go back to a place that I got hurt at. They also used something on my friend that looked like a cheese grater, and we were notified later after our appointments that those are prohibited in salons in the state of Minnesota. So now my friend, who is my maid of honor is upset because she now knows they shouldn't have used that on her and that she could have been seriously hurt as well. I paid in cash and would at least like to get a partial refund because I shouldnt have even paid let alone full price after the fact that I got hurt in the process of the service. read more

I moved here from Los Angeles in July and spent several months trying to locate a good nail place. I am a dedicated customer and when I find "my place" I won't go anywhere else. (15 years at my LA spot) I finally found my place here! My first interaction was with Tila and it has been an excellent experience every time! Kelly is also very skilled as well as Tammy, but Tila is my go to for my gel manicures, the Ice Dancer pedicure and my brow waxing. I have also had a facial from Tila, which was so much more than a facial. The arm, shoulder head and neck massage that she does while you have a mask on is phenomenal. Last but not least, Van the owner is a smart business woman who ensures the clients are 100% satisfied every time no matter how often or infrequently customers patronize her business. I have seen her surprise customers who she remembers who said they had only been there once before. Lastly, the place is exceptionally clean, welcoming and comfortable. read more

it took a very long time, 2 hours to just do dipping powder with an added on nail. the first time i went in they did a very fast job and it was $35 after the tip. this time when i went in i got the exact same thing with glitter on 2 nails and it was $67 that is almost double the price i paid last time. i showed the lady a picture of the nails i wanted. the only thing similar is the color. my friend who came with me got dipping powder with the added on nail as well, she got her nails a little bit shorter but did not get glitter and she was only charged $45 dollars after the tip. i will not be coming back to this nail salon. read more
