Went in right before closing to find some shoes and the sales guy wasn't rushing me at all and was very helpful and I ended up being in an out of there in only a few minutes since he was so helpful. Not only that but when my boyfriend asked if they had stickers to hand out for people he told us that they don't let people just take stickers but he gave us two free stickers anyways. Last two pair of Vans have come apart within weeks. I'm not hard on my shoes. I asked three different employees what kind of warranty they offer before I bought another pair. Everyone said there is no warranty so I left. Next day I explained the defect on their website and they explained that all Vans products have a six month warranty on materials and workmanship. It's kind of perturbing that employees know very little about what they sell. read more

I've purchased 3 pairs of lace-up shoes here. There seems to be a wide variation in quality between different models of Vans shoes. Some slide of your feet easily and offer no arch support or padding. Some fit well with arch support and comfort. I don't see the point in selling the inferior pairs of shoes for $5 less because it taints the entire brand. If you find the right pair then these can be comfortable shoes that pass for fashion in San Diego. read more

I did not have a good experience at this store. I recently purchased 3 pairs of shoes and needed to exchange 1 of them for a different size. Apparently when we boxed up the shoes to exchange, we put them in the wrong box. Therefore they wouldn't take my exchange. Would give 0 stars if possible. Also, I really dislike this mall. read more

Came here yesterday to find a pair of shoes for my boyfriend. he typically isn't a big shopper so considering this was our 5th store he was ready to leave and get lunch. This was the only store we were greeted and helped so well! In fact it was the main reason we bought them there. Jeffery was so helpful and attentive it was amazing! He immediately greeted us and came to help us as soon as he had taken care of his other customer. It was a bit busy, but it did not feel like it. He not only brought the shoes we asked for, but three other suggestions that my boyfriend liked! He even suggested some socks because he noticed my boyfriend was wearing sandals. When we settled on a pair, he laced up the other shoe for us and took the box to the register. The gentleman who checked us out was pleasant as well. It may be a small store, but the selection was amazing, and the customer service was exceptional. It was the only store to have his size in everything we wanted to try on too! Came in on a Saturday for a pair of shoes for my daughter. The shoe section was very busy, but NATE was amazing!! Not only did he juggle helping several customers, but he did it all while remaining attentive and friendly. Nate's customer service was THE BEST- professional, helpful and so nice. As it turns out, the shoes didn't work out, and we happened to deal with Nate for the return. He was just as great for that transaction. customer service at this store is no good.i was there yesterday school shopping with our son I asked an employee "SETH" for some help he went to the back to check on the item for us he came back on the sales floor and started talking to someone else about nothing to do with the store I asked him about my item he said we are out.so I asked him when was he planning on informing me of this he just laughed he thought it was funny.as i'm trying to find the manager he is in the back by the dressing rooms talking to another employee about what had just happened still laughing and using bad words to explain it.the manager "JOSH" and I heard the comments the manager did nothing to help the situation because when I asked "Seth" to come over and explain what had happened the manager looked like this is normal.well VANS after going to 2 other stores Zummies being one we ended up spending over $300 at the mall this might not be a lot but customer service goes a long long way. read more
