Greeted well by a fella at the end of the bar by the name of Thien. I knew what I wanted by didn't want to spend the farm for a temp-fix. Thien met me at the showcase and we discussed my options. Finally settled on a eGo Twist $28. When I found out the charger $5 was extra, he threw-in a disp-tank to smooth things out. Thien even filled the tank with Pink Starburst to carry-me over for my drive back home. This is the very act that'll keep me coming back and my loyalty. I've been to a lot of Vape shops in the south OC and let me just say that this was by far the most awkward/worst experience I've ever had. When me and my buddy first walked in to the shop there was no "hi how are you" or "welcome" or anything. The guy behind the counter just gave us a smug grin and a "I can help you" in the most monotone and condescending voice I've ever heard. Followed by "I.D's" again in a super disrespectful tone as if he just wanted us to leave. The Caucasian guy with tattoos who was "helping" us.. if you could even use that word to describe what he was doing.. was building a coil and slamming his tools down in frustration every time we would ask to sample a juice. My vape broke months ago and I haven't gotten around to picking up a new one. Mainly because I just moved to Irvine and I really don't know too much about vapes at all. After a long and shitty week, the last thing I wanted to do was hunt down a decent vape shop and have to deal with the hassle of picking or choosing the right one. But I am so glad I did. LOCATION The place wasn't hard to find, although I almost missed it because all of the other shops in the plaza were closed and it was a bit dark. When I walked in I was already very pleased with how sick the shop looked. It's got a pretty dope atmosphere: Wood floors, a bar with the liquid selection/specials on a TV and the bottles on the counter. In the back there's a lounge area with a second counter by the bathroom. I thought I was already fairly lucky for finding a such a bad ass shop right off the bat, but it got even better. SERVICE I wasn't looking forward to having to deal with a million questions about what I wanted. To be honest, I didn't even know what my last vape pen was called, so the last thing I wanted was for some vapengelist to try and up sell me. The dude who helped me knew what to ask and was straight to the point. He recommended two or three options, told me the difference in prices and gave me his honest opinion. When it came to grabbing some new liquids, he also gave awesome recommendations and I picked 2 of the 3 I tried. Before I even paid for anything, he walked me through how to set it up, adjust it and even filled up the tank. I was there for no more than 10-15mins. My previous experience of going to other stores were completely beat out by tonight's visit to Vape & Co. The only thing missing is I didn't get this guy's name. He really knows his shit and I am so glad he made things so easy. One less thing I need to worry about now. I am incredibly satisfied with both the service and my purchase. I love my new vape. Seriously awesome shop right here, great customer service, wide range of the top-of-the-line juices and gear (at they are constantly getting new things in!), but most importantly, just one of the best atmospheres of a vape shop. This is a nice vape shop. The guys here greet you upon entering, even if they are helping someone else. They have a big juice selection and got a set up for all level of vapers. The guys are more then happy to show you how to use your device and set it up for you too. They have a bar to taste the juices and got couches for you to lounge in. I came from another vape shop and found this shop right off the freeway. They were open late which was perfect my busy schedule. As soon as I walked in there was a couple of guys at the table being helped but Jose still greeted me and asked if I had any quick questions. Once he was done with the other customers Jose attended my needs on picking up a new mod and juice. He also was kind enough to explain how the mod worked and helped me set it all up. Great place! Was in town from the bay area to visit family and decided to see what vape shops were in the area. I found this shop from YELP and man... when I arrived, the interior design of the shop was well thought out; it's not one of those, simple vape shops around the orange county areas.
