He was always communicative, prompt and friendly. He offered for us to come out to the showroom and see the windows and doors in person. I went with the Milgard Trinsic Windows and Doors. Second, the install team was excellent. Every day, they arrived on time and hit the ground running. Having a number of contractors for projects over the past 5 years, this team has been the best. I moved out of the house during the project, but I stopped by daily and everything was always cleaned up and in order. Third, I really appreciated the effort and thoroughness on the last day of cleaning the exterior and especially the interior of the house. The team takes great pride in their work and you can tell that is 100% employee owned. If I had to say there was a down side, its you may be in for a wait when placing your order because their work is in high demand (the first year quote, I would have had to wait 4-5 months). Finally, the windows and doors are beautiful. What a difference this made in regards to temperature, sound, and clarity. Not to mention, the ease at using the doors and the contemporary narrow frame modernized our home. We could not be happier.

It took longer than expected. lifetime was communicative. We had such a good experience we called them to add a window but they didn't seem interested. Did not come out to provide estimate. Said the "engineering" and permitting would be expensive. Instead, we worked with city building inspection/permitting. Wrote our own permit application, drew diagram, and paid the cheap fee of $30. All approved; no issues. Window was not of the quality we could have purchased from lifetime but at least I have a window in what was a previously dark cave of a bathroom! We will try to use them again in future if need arises. Don't confuse this company with Lifetime exteriors (I don't believe it's same company).

Between 2021 and 2023, our nonprofit animal sanctuary was blessed to receive donated roofing, siding, and windows through a partnership involving High Performance Homes, Owens Corning, James Hardie, and Simonton Windows. We were deeply grateful and publicly thanked everyone involved. Today, we're asking those same companies to look at what was actually installed. Our documented concerns now include: * Mold-affected sheathing that was specifically agreed to be removed--but wasn't. * Bird blocking that was supposed to be repaired, leaving our attic vulnerable to years of pest intrusion. * A roof leak caused by improper installation. * Roofing components that did not initially meet the requirements for the Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Warranty. * Windows installed without proper flashing. * Siding installed over deteriorated materials. * James Hardie products that were cut but not sealed as required by the published installation instructions. * Hundreds of nail holes filled with caulk instead of the ColorPlus touch-up system, leaving our home looking like it has chicken pox covered in calamine lotion. The proposed solution? Paint over the caulk. But a James Hardie representative told us the factory-baked ColorPlus finish and field-applied paint weather differently over time. Today's touch-up becomes tomorrow's two-tone house. So we have a sincere question. **Owens Corning, James Hardie, and Simonton Windows: Is this the level of workmanship you expect from contractors who represent your brands and your reputations?** We're not asking for upgrades. We even have that promise in writing. Jump ahead to early this year. We have an issue with the downstairs slider. It has stopped being easy to open so I called RBA to please call me as I explained the problem on their voicemail system. As of this date, I have not received any callbacks.
