Banana Q latte, pandas latte and the ube latte were my favorites. I don't even like banana but it was so good it was like a burnt caramelized taste and wasn't too overly sweet. The ube is also not too sweet and is a shockingly purple color but goes surprisingly well with the coffee. The ube has a distinct taste but I have to say it doesn't taste artificial to me. Pandas latte was good as well and I think of it as similar to vanilla. Service is always nice. They don't have a bathroom so just be in the lookout! I like light roasts, so I was excited that's what they use for their pourovers. This was a great discovery, as we were just looking for an afternoon coffee and had no idea that this was Filipino-owned. Not only is the coffee smooth and robust, but the pastries we tried were also delicious: the ube bibingka and the ube cheese roll! I went here with my daughter and got a latte. It was amazing! We liked it so much we drove the extra 10 minutes to go back the next day. When we got there, sadly, something wasn't working and they couldn't make espresso drinks. I know there wasn't anything they could do about it and they were very nice and apologized, which I appreciated. I will go back next time I'm in the area. I've gone back a couple more times mainly for convenience & the lemon raspberry muffin but only 1 of my 4 visits have actually been a good experience. Aside from one visit, the service has never reached the level of mediocrity. I hate to talk down small businesses but hopefully this review grabs attention to make a change service wise. Whether or not the Owner is an over achiever (Verraco meaning) or he's representing their Filipino heritage. You will be amazed what their coffee roasting shop has to offer. Not only great coffee but also delicious pastries and baked goods that you won't find in your typical coffee shop (i.e. adobo pandesal, chicken or beef empanadas). The Locals love it here and call each other by the first name from what I observed on a very busy Sunday morning. Hikers, bikers, Moto Enthusiasts, Tourists and Community just show up here and enjoy the Palm Desert vibes. I can see this shop expanding to a more high traffic area in the near future. We will definitely make this our go-to spot for coffee the next time we visit Palm Desert area. read more

Great Coffee! Had a 3x Latte and bought some beans. The drink was excellent and so are the beans! The owners were super welcoming, like we were locals. The beans are really special too, and one of the hardest to find - from the Philippines. They have a unique flavor profile. Hopefully they will offer these online, because I will definitely purchase beans again. Joe was correct, they are strongly caffeinated, so adjust your recipe accordingly. Moving here from San Diego I really missed all the local small craft coffee shops, so I was really excited this opened up! My husband got the ube latte and I got the Pandan latte- wow- both are delicious but I have an instant addiction to the pandan latte! It's green in color but tastes like the richest smoothest creamiest latte I've ever had- even in comparison to the best in LA. It tastes like a latte but the pandan offers a nutty sweet taste and also offers some health benefits. It is also dairy free made with coconut milk which I typically don't prefer because it can tend to be watery- but not this one. I also tried an ube pastry and a chicken empanada. The ube pastry was good, and the chicken empanada tasted fresh and not overloaded with spices- just right. The staff is also always so friendly! They make you feel welcomed the minute you walk through the door. My only complaint is the prices are very high- with a reasonable tip I usually pay about $8-9 for an ice latte- more than what I pay at the cool North Park coffee shops in SD. But since it's so good it's worth it and not going to stop me from coming back. Maybe they could consider implementing a digital rewards kind of program (like buy 9 get your tenth free) for us locals/regulars ;). read more

This was a hidden gem in Palm Springs. We loved their speciality selection of coffee and tea. I ordered the Pandan iced latte which also has two shots of espressos. Whoever thought of ube flavored coffee? And pandan coffee? I just had to try it. It was such a pleasant surprise! It just had a tinge of ube flavor in my hot latte and it worked well together. There's always that distinct taste of barako coffee from our country, the Philippines. It transported me to the time when I frequented the province of Batangas, where it is grown, with our weekly diving activity in Anilao and having barako coffee to wake us up. We also tried their other offerings like the ham and cheese ensaymada, the ube ensaymada and the adobo roll/panDe sal. All were great tasting. I will surely be back when I am in the area. Too bad I missed out on the bibingkas. It is too popular that they ran out of it. That's something I will look forward to on my next visit. You got to try out this place and think out of the Starbuck's mindset. If it's something different you are looking for, this place is staring you right in the eye. It is also in a good location where you can go shopping at those high end stores a la Beverly Hills. Overall it's a very worthwhile experience. Dope little Coffee/Tea Shop with variety of pastries. Pulled off the freeway to attend a virtual meeting, the ambiance was perfect.
