The Varraco Coffee Roasters has the best coffee and small bites to perfectly pair. Vince and Jamie provided amazing service. We had ordered the pandan babingka, ube babingka, filipino varraco, ube latte, pandan latte, brown sugar matcha latte, and milo ensaymada. I would recommend trying it all! Being a Bay Area filipina, I was excited to see a new shop owned and run by kababayans (fellow countrymen). Fresh roasted (in-house) beans + a filipino twist on some classic coffee + baked goodies = perfection. Their ube (pronounced ooh-bay; a sweet purple yam) latte is made with a taste of the Philippines. Based with coconut milk and the right amount of syrup make for a perfect latte without being super sweet or overpowering. Tried in Dec 2022 and was very happy finding somewhere with great coffee and Filipino Bakery items. Returned Nov 2024 for the Ensamada but it wasn't there and the line was to long off a wait since the dog was in the car. Will try again for the Ensamada. read more

We had an extraordinary coffee experience at Varraco Coffee and Roasters during the opening day. It was packed with coffee lovers who wants to try the distinct flavor of Philippine locally grown coffee. Thank you Varraco Coffee for your vision and passion to unlock a rare specialty coffee. My favorite was the Pinoy Varraco which is the Americano. I also love how the steamed milk did not overpower the taste of the coffee when I tried the Varraco Latte. My daughter can't get enough of the Brown Sugar Iced Coffee. The Ube Latte is a must try too!!! The empanada, Bibingka, and Ensaymada are so yummy and is a perfect match for the Varraco Coffee. It was a 45 minute drive for us but it's all worth it, and we will be back for sure read more

Not impressed with this place. I ordered the iced Ube Latte, 16 oz cost $8.00. I was told it wasn't too sweet but definitely was. Drink was too thick with the coconut milk they used. I added extra ice and still was like drinking creamer. I ended up throwing most of it away. read more

I'm picky with my coffee, this was easily one of the top 5 best cups of coffee I've ever had. We were on vacation here for 5 nights, you bet I came back 5 times. They toast their beans right there in the shop, you can watch. The staff was very welcoming and informative, I got some espresso beans to brew at home and the barista Jeremy gave me advice on brewing my beans at home. The cashier Elise was also very friendly and helpful with the filipino pastry selections. I will miss this cup of coffee more than the vacation itself. The coffee was different, interesting and the staff was helpful navigating the menu. They gave a sample to illustrate the type of roast and brew they use. Didn't eat but they seemed to have a decent selection of mostly sweets. My only issue was their seating-what little they have looks like kindergarten furniture, small and low. There are also a few seats on the street but the proximity to the 111 isn't ideal. This is more about takeout, but the product is excellent. read more

Excellently balanced coffees and not acidic at all. Their Americano was rich and bold, (not watered down at all). Their specialty drinks (ube and pandan lattes) were on point as well -- well balanced and not too sweet. This is now our favorite coffee shop in the valley! We'll be back!!! read more

So excited about this place, I usually go out of town to pick up Filipino desserts such as Rancho Cucamonga! In the picture there is an ube latte with coconut milk base and Pinoy Verraco which is similar to a Americano. I added oat milk to it and it was delicious and smooth. This is the snobbiest coffee shopped I've ever walked into. I was visiting the area and wanted some coffee. I walked in and commented to the barista about how cute it was in there. She just glared at me, no response. I ordered a decaf iced coffee and she impatiently and meanly replied, "We don't have decaf." Her demeanor was so rude I was waiting for the "Duh!" At the end. I was shocked. I've never experienced this at a coffee shop before. It was the afternoon. You know, some people can't tolerate caffeine for a myriad of reasons. She should have apologized and nicely told me that you don't have decaf. If I was her employer I'd have fired her on the spot. I didn't catch her name as she was not wearing a name tag. I will never enter this rude coffee shop again!! Worst customer service ever! read more

This was a great find in the Palm Springs area. I had the Pinot varraco, which is basically an iced americano. It was bold, but not astringent. My husband had the pandan latte, which had a unique flavor that he enjoyed. The barista was nice enough to allow my husband to taste the pandan syrup before he ordered the drink. I recently had the pleasure if visiting Varraco Coffee Roaster in Palm Desert, and I must say it was an exceptional experience! The staff is always friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The quality if the coffee is hands down AMAZING! My personal Favorite is the Ube Latte, hot or cold it is delicious, every time! Don't even get me started with pastries, they are out this world. It is very clear that this coffee shop goes above and beyond. I highly recommend 10 out of 10, especially if you like authentic coffee not your average coffee. read more
