I won't go into detail how our dealership|customer relationship has been repaired, I'll just say he made an impressive effort of goodwill to repair the ire I expressed in my previous post. My name and address were incorrect; simply asked for them to fix it and was handed off 4 times. Was told my car was ready and they would pull it around. After waiting a half hour, I had to fetch it myself. Experience with cashier was horrendous; she was fighting with an Enterprise employee in front of me about my situation. I checked in on Facebook and said that it was a disappointing experience. Internet manager reached out and said that the Service Manager would contact me directly. Never did. I wrote a formal letter, no response. Finally got a call yesterday, almost a month later, because they can't find my contract because the error is still not fixed. Apparently, according to a Varsity Lincoln employee, the complaints against the cashier are numerous and often and have been happening for a while; and the service manager, "loves her". So if you go there, stay focused on what you're there for and try not to deal with the cashier if possible. read more

The worst service department. Unfortunately I did not learn my lesson when I had a horrible experience about 3 years ago - I needed a new battery in my Lincoln MKZ. When I called Varsity Lincoln Service, they told me to come in & it would be exchanged in 15 minutes since I was in a hurry to arrive at an extremely important business meeting - I was there for 3 hours before my battery was changed. In February 2020 my 2018 Ford Explorer Platinum with 36,000 miles went crazy & would not move. I had it towed to Varsity Lincoln since my husband & I have purchased several Lincolns there in the past & had used Varsity's Service Dept with varying degrees of satisfaction. The Service Manager informed me that they would not honor the extended warranty service plan that I had purchased and that I would have to find somewhere else to take my car. I called the Warranty Plan administrator and they found that Lasco Ford in Fenton would take the plan so I paid (another $80) to have it towed there. After going through a discovery process, Lasco Ford found the defective Ford part (module) and replaced it which was covered by the original Ford warranty ($65 total). Meanwhile I had to rent a vehicle ($900) for the week. I drove from Sterling Heights looking for a used car and my co worker recommended varsity Lincoln, I got there around 2pm and I was gonna look at the Lincoln MKZs, well I couldn't, there was 6inches of snow between the cars, I was there for 30 minutes or so and not a single person came out to help me, it's a shame I drove all that way. read more

I recently leased a 2013 MKX from Varsity (salesman - Kevin McCarthy). From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by Kevin to the minute he handed me the keys (after finding my perfect car in Indiana and bringing it to the dealer). I have never been treated with such respect and I appreciated his willingness to go the extra mile to make sure the MKX had everything I wanted. What a pleasurable experience. I had previously leased my last 4 Ford Edges from another local dealership and I am just amazed at the superior experience at Varsity. I have told everyone I know how wonderful it has been. My first service visit for an oil change and 5,000 mile checkup. I received prompt service and the arrangement Varsity has with Enterprise for a loaner is fantastic. They are right across the street which lessens the burden on the dealership so that they can provide excellent service. I had the car in at 8 am and received a call at 1330 that it was complete. In the past I have had work done on a few of my cars . We also have purchased new tires for my wife's car. Every time we go there we feel that they go above and beyond for us. The gentleman who checked my car in was very professional and they even asked me if I needed a ride while my car was being worked on. Everyone is very polite and I feel that they are honest and I can trust them which is very important to me. Whether it is a simple oil change or a broken car, I will continue to use these people. I really loved a car that I test drove and was planning to purchase it but it was getting towards closing and told them I would be back the next day. They called me in the morning the very next day and told me another dealer in Grand Rapids wanted to purchase the car and asked if I was serious about it. I said "of course! I want the car!". They asked me to give a deposit, which I did and I told them I would be in within the next few days to buy it. They called me the very next day and told me that they had sold the car to another person. I thought the whole point of putting a deposit on a car was so this doesn't happen. This is shady business. I don't believe any of their stories. A reputable car dealer would not take a deposit and sell the car from under you. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE. YOUR DEPOSIT WON'T BE HONORED. read more

I took my MkZ into the dealership for 2 different recalls and both times it was easy to make an appointment. They were courteous and they responded quickly and got the job done quickly and they called me when the work was completed. I also was able to have a loaner and everything went smoothly. Great job finding and solving the rattle in my driver's door. Only complaint is dirty loaners from Enterprise. They really need to clean the insides and wash the outsides of their cars. I had 2 dirty loaners in 2 weeks so it wasn't an isolated incidence. read more

Conceirge service is terrific. Each have lovely personalities. This time my vehicle has technician grease on driver's side door panel (stands out with super light interior). The loner vehicle had trash, debris and soda cans in the back seat. The condition it was brought in for still isn't repeatble. Very disappointed in the customer service by the pre-owned manager. I asked to take an extended test drive of the vehicle I drove over an hour to look at, but he said the only way I would be able to take an extended test drive is if they ran my credit. I don't need financing through the dealership...so there should be no reason to run my credit. I told him he could run a criminal background check on me, but no need to take a hit on my credit for a test drive. It was very apparent he had no desire to accommodate me and ultimately lost my business. If you're in the market for a Lincoln, choose another Lincoln dealer. read more

My experience at Varsity Lincoln Novi, MI was excellent. I have no complaints whatsoever. Although my occurrence was interesting I was treated kindly, respectfully, and with integrity by all members of staff. The Sales Consultant who assisted me, Jim Salloum, went out of his way to make sure that I understood all the new technology on my new Lincoln MKC. He also expressed to me that I could call or come in anytime with questions and he would be more than happy to explain things again. While this was the third time we had taken the vehicle in for the same issue, The service we received was outstanding! We brought our concern that this was the third time in to the service manager and he took a personal interest including meeting us at the door and a "ride along" to help identify the issue and the proper fix. They setup a loaner car for us to use while they fixed it and delivered the car back to us at an agreed on time and place. They kept us informed on what was going on and how they corrected the issue.
