I'm very happy with this salon! They cater to you even if it's right before closing. You never feel rushed. Hanna took her time with me and exfoliated my lower legs and massaged my feet,, shaved my feet and their products smell amazing. Hot towels finished the pedicure before the polishing. Massage chairs are great as well. I changed my mind about the color and Hanna accommodated me with bringing 6 other colors over because my nails change colors. Very happy with the color I went with! My only suggestion is to request the toe dividers be left on but I returned and they fixed it and backing up your work is huge to me. I will be back for sure and highly recommend! read more

The staff are kind.. Unfortunately I don't like the outcome, maybe because I chose the pink (which I was having a hard time to find a light pink) they didn't help navigate the correct tone for the French tip I wanted. I wanted something classy and this looks childlike. (The guy that was doing my nails spoke very little English so I couldn't really tell him about it) read more

Just recently was sold to a new owner, which it needed. The new owner has painted and done some great changes. Has a new look!! They still offer a complimentary bottle of water and my gel nails came out great!!!!!! My biggest pet peeve with all nail places is make sure when there is time to lean there is time to clean. Nail sections should never look dusty. Equipment should be santized after every guest. As long as the new manager keeps this going it will do great. Service was great, and it was more inexpensive than any other place. read more

I have been going to Tom and Hannah here for years! They are the absolute best, I highly recommend you check them out. They have so many colors to choose from, and do exactly what I ask for every time. I never go anywhere else. Hannah does amazing hand painted designs if you are looking for someone. They renovated inside recently, and it is super clean. You will not be disappointed! They are reasonably priced for the quality you get! They punch cards to get signed every time to earn $5 off after five visits. Definitely check them out if you are in the UCF and Orlando area. read more

I've been going here for a few months now and have always gotten pretty good service. IF I go back I WILL NOT be using the male who works here. He told me in order to do ombré on my nails it would have to be dip powder and it would be $116. I hate being lied to, I see nail technicians do ombré with regular polish and sponges all the time. You cannot have all them years of experience and tell me you can't put polish on a sponge and dab it on a nail. If I was keeping the nail design more then 2 days then I'd have no problem paying that much. He then told me $20 more for using my own nail decals that I brought in. They are stickers and he was acting like he was using some special glue to apply them then I asked if it was something special, he said no it was water. He stopped before painting my nails to service the lady who would be after me in his chair then came back to paint my nails. He didn't push any of my cuticles back so it looks like a 5 year old painted my nails. After rushing to add the decals in which he clearly had an attitude about, he slapped the top coat on and moved me right out of his chair to proceed on with the next lady who was obviously going to spend more. I got regular nail polish, not even gel and my total was $60.00. As many times as I have come here and spent well over $100, if he couldn't deal with the one time I was going cheaper then he doesn't deserve my money again. read more

2/16/13 - Monica did my white tips...not enough glue and I have gaps betweem my own nail and the acrylics. She told me if they pop off she'd take them off and fix them for free. Last time I had this issue, in Virginia, all the moisture build up grew mold between my nails. She talked negatively about her job, the kind of stuff you shouldn't tell your clients. I went back on 3/2 and then again 3/19. My friend only get her nails done by Linda. Now I know why! She is amazing and fast! Monica took over an hour to do my nails. Linda is done in 30 minutes! She is fast and does a flawles job! I had pink and white nails done. So much better than the white tips. I prefer pink/white nails now.They look more natural and feel natural too. Linda is so sweet and chats a bit, she remembers her clients too. She asked me about my boyfriend was doing and that my friend and her mom had been in to see her the night before. This place is a bit out of the way for me, but I will drive that 30 minutes just for Ms. Linda to do my nails :). read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. I had a friend who got her lashes done here and so I came to have Kim do a lash set. The second I was in the room she put literal duct tape on my lower lash line so she could put on lashes and it was literally poking in my eye. The whole time she was putting on the lashes my right eye was watering and what's worse, she got GLUE in my eye. She goes to take the duct tape off and it won't come off because she glued it to my lashes, she had to get gel remover to take it off and I could feel my lashes literally ripping. When she took the duct tape off I felt lashes on my lower lash line rip off and I saw my lashes attached to the duct tape, she denied she ripped them and claimed they must be the extensions but those were MY lashes she ripped off and I can see the spots on my lash line where she ripped them off with duct tape. The extensions were also falling off, they look uneven and A MESS with patches. My entire right eye is red and swollen and now I'm at the Urgent Care to get my eye looked a because it's hard to even open it. I had to unattach lashes from my lower lashline that were stuck to my extensions. Kim gave me gel remover to take them off but the fact she even let me walk out the door looking like that and had me pay her, I saw her fellow employees cringing on how bad it looked. I'm coming in tomorrow morning for a refund or at least a fix for the patchiness. They look like a mess and it was my first time getting lash extensions, this woman was playing me and she knew it too. Now I need an eyelash serum to grow these lashes back I've lost, don't get lash extensions done by Kim. If she refunds me like she should or fixes my lashes maybe I'll take this post off. But take these pictures as a warning of what you could be getting yourself into, I don't think she's licensed for this and a lot of people starting out could even do a better job than this. read more

UNPROFESSIONAL,UNFRIENDLY AND AN OVERALL UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCE! I believe i was discriminated here for reasons unknown to me. maybe because i'm hispanic or maybe it's because i just wanted to take my acrylics off and get a clear coat?? i just came to this place to remove my acrylics.the lady helping me (Jenny) had asked me if i wanted to do anything else to my nails in which i politely declined because I have a nail appointment with my trusted nail tech next week. She asked me a few times and was persistent with snarky remarks like " you don't want halloween nails?" or "your nails feel like paper are you sure?" even after I said no thank you. at first i told the lady who was helping me out not to file them down (bc my ride was outside waiting for me) and i felt bad.The entire time i felt like she was judging me due to me not wanting her to give me a full set or paint them any color. However, I changed my mind and told her to just give me a clear coat and told my ride to just leave me. She then asked me to pay before doing so. I HAVE NEVER had to pay before being serviced at the various nail salons i've been to. Nonetheless, I paid her and tipped her. After doing so I mentioned to her it was weird that she asked me to pay before and that no nail salon has ever asked me to do that. she then proceeded to feed me some lie that made no sense. her excuse was that "she didn't want my nails to be wet" which why would they be wet in the first place? if they're supposed to dry before I walk out that door. completely unprofessional and rude.don't waste your time. read more

The best nail salon in Orlando! I've been going here for 4-5 years and do not have a single regret. The prices are reasonable and the quality of work is phenomenal. I personally recommend Jenny if you are someone who likes fun designs but she is also really good at doing basic nails. They are very clean and sanitary. I also go here for my eyebrows and each experience has been a good one. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a go to nail salon. read more

All my nails look like this: filed and shaped horrendously, nail polish/acrylic hanging over onto my cuticles. My tech repeatedly went over my cuticles with his drill. I didn't even get lotion when he was finished, so I walked out with visibly dry, flaky cuticles I wanted so badly to like this place because of their awesome no chip nail polish collection but was severely disappointed. I wasn't even a walk in either, I called ahead and made an appointment. Not sure if I will give it another chance. I don't want to spend another $32 plus tip for another botched job. Such a bummer. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON!!!! I called ahead of time and she said what I wanted would be $20. Went in to get my nails done and she charged me "$10 more" for each thing I wanted done!!! She laughed it off like it was funny that she was taking all my money. Do not go here!!!! I cannot stress this enough! Doesn't even deserve the one star I'm forced to give. read more

I got cut! While trimming the skin of the nail bed, she started getting careless and nicked me a couple of times, then finally she cut a CHUNK out of my thumb. She apologized, but didn't understand what I was talking about when I asked for alcohol to clean it, just kept nodding, and still charged me full price even though I was still bleeding with a gaping hole in my finger at the end. That was just the worst of it, there were other little things; Very pushy, while I was choosing my nail color the lady snatched the basket from me and took it to a table, apparently I was supposed to follow and choose my color while she was in the process of doing my manicure. Did gel nails, one was great and came out the color it was supposed to and fully coated, all the rest were see through, and there was a pile-up of polish on the tips, she attempted to cover this by trying to convince me to do a layer of glitter on top. read more

They have a very poor nail polish selection. I went in for a refill, the lady kept being too rough. They are all uneven lengths, you can see the line for where she filled in, it has been an hour and my nail polish is already coming off. The lady kept stopping to answer and talk on her phone. Besides how disgusting the place was. The fish tank was almost black, they don't properly clean their pedicure tubs and the back rooms reek. read more

Varsity nail salon is the worst place ever!! Do not go. I've been going there for months now because the deals are great. Three weeks ago I got my nails done, and after taking off the acrylics, I notice that one of my nails is green, and I asked them, "hey what is this?" and they proceeded to say it was dirt being built up. Two days ago, I go back to get my nails refilled and after they took them off they said they said it was fungus, and then said I needed to fix it, when it was their fault because they're unsanitary. So they charged me 20 dollars more for barely fixing it , and I was appalled. My mom called after I got it done, and they told her I was going to get a refund. I went in today explaining the situation and they refused and denied that any of that happen. My mom sent the screenshot of her phone calls to prove to them, but they still refused. They were very rude and had awful customer service. I hope no one experiences what I have gone through. read more

I went to Varsity Nails yesterday and the experience was horrible. When I got there it was very slow but once people started coming in, the people started to rush with the pedicure. Looking closely at the nail polish job, I could've done better because she left nail polish still on my last two toes. When I said I wanted a manicure, the lady looked pissed and also rushed through it. My finger got cut twice when she was cutting my cuticles. Again the nail polish job was sloppy. I am giving Varsity Nails a 2 because the lady who greeted us was super nice and gave refreshments out, which I never experienced. Overall, I won't be coming back to this nail salon! read more

At the last minute, I popped in to Varsity Nails before a friend's wedding for a manicure and pedicure. Although it took a while longer than I had anticipated, my french manicure looked absolutely perfect for the wedding and it lasted for nearly two weeks. Excellent work ladies! read more

Horrible job. Rude owner! Not recommended. My nailpolish got chipped while my toe nails were drying and when I brought it to the nail tech's attention, he rudely accused me of messing it up and saying the $15 wasn't worth the trouble of re-touching. Will never go there again. read more

I always love coming here, they never do me wrong! I always get a pedicure and my toe nails come out awesome and crisp. I'm Not allowed to have any colors on my nails (work) but I still get a manicure that is clean and enjoyable. I never let anyone touch my eyebrows but I got sick of driving 30min to get them done but they look so good! TBH I've always done threading and I had to knock a star because I found out I'm mildly allergic to the wax but still I can't be mad because I didn't know. My nail tech was an older woman that was very sweet, I just didn't get to catch her name. 8.5/10 would recommend especially if you're wanting simple and great service! read more

I arrived with no appointment, but i had called about 15 minutes prior to my arrival. I sat at the first table on the left side of the room (not next to the wall) with a mature technician. I showed her a picture of what i was wanting, more rounded coffin/oval shaped, and ombre natural to allow longer wear before a fill is required. I identified that I previously wore GelX, but was open to other options, but didn't want acrylic. She mentioned a couple of options, but she was difficult to understand. She understood my desire for ombre - i asked if she could do what i wanted and she said a very clear 'yes'. She started and asked a couple of questions of natural color preferences - i said that I would rely on her since i wasn't that picky. She started and was only the 3rd or so nail and a gentleman stopped by and was watching what she was doing and questioning what i was wanting. I explained i used to wear GelX but was open, but didn't want acrylic. He responded with "we do GelX. . . you do realize that's acrylic" - i didn't, but at this point i felt it was too late. I believe he was the one of the owners. She continued to do my nails and I became very concerned as i saw the fairly wide gap between the start of the acrylic and my cuticle. While I may be picky at times, the woman next to her was standing up and watching her work and chatting with her. Others stopped by to watch, including the same gentleman and a couple of other techs and I believe one of them was another owner. They all watched and never showed concern or spoke/questioned my Nail Tech. All i kept thinking was maybe there are different steps and once she continues my areas of concerns may be taken care of. Unfortunately, the product only got worse as she continued. Why didn't i complain? 1) I had already spent a good 1.5 hours in the chair and couldn't afford to waste any more time and 2) co-workers/owners watched throughout the entire time and didn't have any concerns with the quality of work at any time so I didn't expect anything to be different at the end. I've been in this situation with a quality concern quite a while ago and co-workers/owners stopped the work on their own and directed correction. Unfortunately, this didn't happen and I had to learn an expensive lesson. Not even a week later one of the nails broke off and I went to another nail salon which stated they needed to be fully removed as they were done wrong and were very much already lifting away from the nail bed. With all of this, I wouldn't have an issue with a mani/pedi at this salon but will not return for fake nails.

The woman did not do the type i requested, the new nails started 1/8" away from my cuticle, and they were so thick, especially at the part closest to the cuticle it looked like my nails were bubbles. After one of my pathetic nails broke off this morning, I went to Honeycoat Nail Salon who I had always heard great things about, and where I previously had a very nice pedi. Lucy greeted me, was very professional and accommodating, and went right to work. After looking more closely at my nails it was decided they needed to be fully removed as they were already lifting among the many other issues. She did an AMAZING job - exactly what i asked for and they were PERFECT. I've already made another appointment with her. Excellent salon that I will definitely patronize.

Pedicure- BodiPure Reflex Keratin- $38- they do charge $10 to remove previous gel polish. The service uses the little cheap foot masks you can buy for $1- $5. The hot stone massage was nice. Truly don't know why places charges $10- $15 to remove gel as they don't use any additional products just fill off the older color and it's faster than doing a soak off. I brought my own polish for my toes- as I hate the $10 up charge for gel which again- saves them time because you cure them and not wait for the polish to dry.

As I was walking away, she chased me down and profusely apologized and said she had mistaken the time. This nail salon is so nice and clean. The owner did my pedicure and she was so great. I opted for the deluxe pedicure so I could have a nice exfoliation service to pamper myself! We also can't forget about the comfortable massage chairs either! If I wasn't chatting up my nail tech, I could've fallen asleep, I was so relaxed! Overall the lady did a great job, and the equipment was all fresh and cleaned so no worries about any unsanitary practices. I would definitely go back for future services on my feet!

Most importantly though, you can still reliably get a killer manicure and pedicure here. The attention to detail and level of care given is incredible. My faves Pink and Tina are still knocking it out of the park with the most impeccable manicures I've had and I really can't see myself trusting my nails with anyone else. And I've caved and tried a place or two over the last couple years and regretted it. Won't make that mistake again!! What's changed? I'd say they've added more staff to keep up with the demand. You still should always try to make an appointment. I don't go anywhere these days without an appointment. And they also have added a number of services including their new head spa services that lol pretty amazing. If I didn't already go for regular massages I might consider it. They also have all the trendy gels and dips and builders and that you might be looking for. Oh, and they recently upgraded all their massage chairs! How could I forget that!! I chose not to do gel just because I wanted to give my nails a breather. Anyhow, one of the techs came and got me and sat me at her chair. I asked for the manicure first so that it can dry while I was getting my pedicure. She was listening to her AirPods when we first started, but then I started telling her about my cuticles being sensitive and to just be cautious. She seemed very sweet. Anyway, the manicure was done and she put oil on my cuticles. She didn't say anything about a massage and I assumed since I got a regular manicure that she was going to wait for it to dry or something. I probably should've said something then, but normally when people get manicures, they want a massage too. Anyhow, we proceeded over to the pedicure station, which they have really nice chairs. I don't know if they offer water or anything, but she did offer me anything. Anyhow, we started talking about the tea shop next-door and how delicious it was. She seemed very kind and then the pedicure was over and there was a lot of lotion still left on my feet and she put my slippers on. After afterwards, she took me straight to pay and said it was $55. I asked her if I wasn't going to get a massage on my hands and if that wasn't a normal part of the manicure. SHE SAID IT DEPENDS ON THE TECH! She said some people don't like it so she doesn't give one unless it's asked for. I'm sorry, are you kidding me? You don't give a massage on hands when someone is coming for a manicure? How about ask me before you put polish!!!??? Are you for real? I was so baffled! She stood there while I checked out so I felt obligated to tip her. I was infuriated! I asked her again about the massage and I told her that I wanted a massage. She did not offer to do it and she did not have anyone else waiting. Decent conversation doesn't equal a tip for me, service does! Anyhow, I walked out of the shop and I was sliding in my sandals. I decided to come back in and ask if I can sit there until they were dry. A lady put me in the sitting area and turned on the fan underneath. I then grabbed my own towel from the handwashing station and wiped the lotion off my feet so that I wouldn't slip and fall. She went outside and she was on her phone. Then about 10 minutes later, another girl walked in and she went to her table in the back. She had plenty of time to do my massage on my hand, that I paid for! I am so mad right now I cannot believe that I even wasted my money here. I won't even mention her name, but she sits all the way in the back. How disgraceful! She didn't even make any eye contact when she came back in with her other customer. Who gets a manicure without a massage? And for $55! What a shame.

She recommended the deluxe spa to really help with my heels, so I took up the suggestion. The only thing that probably could have been better was the massage, but I'm pretty picky.
