Ok...I really wanted to like this place but I can't. I have to be honest: Let's start with the LACK of customer service. From the moment that I entered into the eatery, I was met with a deafening silence after a stare down. No one wanted to truly address me and that should've been my warning to leave. I am not vegan but I can't say enough good things about Vegan Stops. I have ordered from them multiple times through Too Good To Go, and I have never been disappointed. Tonight I bought 2 surprise bags (each surprise bag usually comes with 2 items). I received: 1) lentil soup; delicious! 8/10 on taste 2) Roasted cauliflower; 9/10 3) spicy bell pepper hummus; so good!! I like spicy and this has a really good spice level; 10/10 4) bugler wheat and caramelized onions; 8.5/10 5) Lentil paste; good depth of flavor! 9/10 I've also had their Lima beans before which I LOVE!! They're sooo good. I know I've also had other dishes in other orders, but I can't remember them all, but they all have been absolutely delicious. This definitely isn't a 5 star place. The food is average and easy to make yourself. I hate how they added sriracha to the falafel wrap and stopped putting the falafel in a thin layer instead of chunks it used to be so much better. I got so sick from the eggplant. The hummus used to be my favorite but the texture seems off now with a water-like layer and the supposedly flavored ones are weak. Overall the tastes are just standard to below standard definitely not excellent like a 5 star rating would suggest. I also consider them overpriced for what it is (I cook vegan food like this myself so I know how cheap the ingredients are especially if they aren't using organic spices and herbs). The young woman who works here is very kind but not enough for me to give them any more chances. read more

First of all, people are just so nice and generous at this place. Second, the food quality is just awesome, you can tell that every single ingredient is so clean and fresh and superb quality, and the food is made with care and love. Everything I tried was just awesome!!! (and I am a meat eater!!) Chickpea salad was super delicious, pumpkin stew was flavorful, bulgar with mushroom, okra stew were just perfect, and their cucumber salad is so refreshing!
